I was just getting onto the freeway towing my forty foot fifth wheel trailer when I blew the hose off of the turbocharger on my diesel engine. I called Lustre Bros. They sent a truck out immediately. The driver knew his craft well and had my truck loaded up in no time.. The driver was very polite and courteous. He offered me water or juice. I rode in the truck to the nearest dealership. I was able to get the paperwork done while the driver dropped off the truck. He then brought the keys to me at the service desk. He was able to take my Credit Card payment via his phone. The towing fee was fair. Once payment was made he was off to his next assignment. I would highly recommend this towing company.

My Husbands car broke down in the middle of no where and they went on the search to find it, when they werent sure where it was they called right away. They picked it up, brought it to my house, and just let me pay over the phone since I was at work. James was awesome and it was way less than we expected it to be which is always a nice surprise. I hope I dont have to use them again soon but its nice to know theyre there if you need them.

Great service ziggy is like a skilled surgeon really takes pride in what he does he was able too get me off a steep hillside with no damage to the trailer i was able too load lambs the next day thanks again even in that bad situation it was a pleasure watching you work very very appreciated

I purchased a car from Lostra and the transaction was quick and smooth. It was apparently a car left by someone who went back to the east coast. They had the title ready so all I had to do was smog and take to the DMV to register. The owner was very helpful walking me through the process of what to do as Ive never bought private party. The staff meets you outside during COVID and they were all pleasant to interact with.Lostra gets cars left over from unclaimed tows. Some are junk but some are actually nice. Just check out their Facebook page as they post cars their often.

We have used Lostra Bros Towing service twice and they were timely and professional both times! The second time was when I locked my keys out of my vehicle. Jay, the driver, worked diligently to open my car as I had our 1 year old baby with me. He was quick to the scene, professional, kind, and used the proper equipment (such as airbags) to avoid damage to the vehicle. I will continue to use Lostra Bros Towing, they are my go to when I’m in a jam!

I worked for on week. I was fired because while my trainer talked to the customer I drew on my notebook that Id be writing what my trainer was teaching me. Of course I get being disrespectful but I wasnt even near the customer while I was drawing. Second I had 1 day to file court papers or I would loose my home. If I could give 0 stars I would. AAA got us in touch with this company as our car broke down outside of Elko on our move from CA to CO. I’ve also called AAA to file a complaint. This was a difficult situation for us because we were towing a uhaul trailer and it was not covered on our AAA, we had called uhaul safe tow that we paid for as well to see if we could get help towing the trailer. When Lostra called us to say they were on the way and could tow both the car and uhaul at an extra price we said we had to cancel with uhaul on the other line and would call them right back. When we the tech called back there was no answer, we texted the tech, saw the read receipts and no response. We then called the company back and they said they didn’t want to help us because we were “price shopping.” This took up so much of our time as we were also trying to figure out where to take the car too for repairs as it was Friday afternoon and many shops were closed through the weekend. Highway patrol came to check on us and we told them what happened and the situation, they instantly knew it was Lostra. Long story short another company came to get us. After talking to our tow truck driver about the situation with Lostra it sounds like they have new management & they are ruining the reputation of the long standing Elko company.Edit in response to the owner’s message: we were not price shopping, we were simply trying to figure out what to do with our uhaul trailer that we paid insurance for & your team would have charged extra for as it wasn’t covered by my AAA membership. We were just trying to figure out how to utilize both Uhaul’s safetow & AAA, isn’t that my right as the insured? Regardless, money wasn’t the issue, and we were more than happy to pay for the great service over at Atlas Towing - I would recommend that company be the first anyone calls, as it sounds like your team is riding on the coattails of the previous owner’s reviews and success.

I put my truck in a precarious position last week, and it was hanging onto some loose shale (just barely) preventing a slide into a river about 30 feet below (about 100 mi north of Elko). Called Lostra Towing and scheduled a recovery. Dave and Jason met me @ Wild Horse Res and I guided them the rest of the way to the scene. Both gentlemen were very professional and it was obvious that they cared about getting my truck back to more stable footing. There were a few tense moments where it seemed like it was going for a swim, however they were able to pull through (pun intended) and I now have my truck safe and secure back at home. Excellent service, communication and professionalism from all team members at Lostra. They were on time, and did not pull shenanigans that I have encountered with other less reputable tow services. The price was completely fair considering the distance and difficulty. You can trust this business 100%. If your rig or personal safety are on the line, I wouldnt turn to anyone else. PS. This is no knock on Dave (he was an excellent operator) but when I found out that Jason had been on the job for 4 days (in this line of work), I was floored. Excellent job done, both of you! I got locked out of my car and I called and they were able to swiftly come and rescue me! They were super quick and very friendly. The phone lady, Mary, was super kind and helpful. We broke down and were trying to get towed to a mechanics that we found online (Gary Konakis-would not recommend)When Jake took us to Konakis and we were refused of the service promised he told us he wouldn’t leave us stranded and took us over to Elko Motors, when Elko Motors couldn’t get us in a gal named Kia there got us in touch with Mobile Wrenches and Jake helped us get there. Excellent service and nice to know this tow company wouldn’t just leave someone stranded by dropping off at the first address. He really took care of us and it was greatly appreciated!! I would give them zero stars if I could. Our truck broke down outside of Elko, AAA arranged the tow we get 200 miles free on our policy. they picked us up and dropped us off in Elko only 15 miles later, when they were supposed to take us to Winnemucca. The boss Robert tried to give our driver some excuse about insurance not paying a return fee. After having both of them on the line we found out that Robert was lying. He didnt want his driver going out to Winnemucca because they wouldnt make enough money he tried to give us some excuse about being too busy. When we drove by their yard and they had four empty trucks sitting there. Robert doesnt care about his customers he left a pregnant lady sitting in a parking lot for hours in 13° weather. Because all they care about is getting their initial hook up in tow fee. They will say whatever you want to hear to get you in their truck, and then screw you over.

Took 2 hours to arrive for a tow 10 mins outside of Elko. Was told it was going to cost 120.00 and was charged 157.00. Driver was rude.

I would rather leave my car on the side of the road than use these people ever again. Robert was very rude and creepy with how he acted. Things were missing from my car and they swore up and down they never saw them. Good luck if you have the misfortune to use these “professionals”.

My car was towed because it stalled on I 80 and this company picked up the tow ..my vehicle was there for about 5 days maybe a week.. I ended up paying about 570 I think... not to hot about that one...but I guess its the cost of living.for it wasnt there adult. I think they assisted me in a professional way. They open I think it was 8am to 5pm... they towed my vehicle out of the yard also which I thought was nice.. if I needed a tow I would use them again..

My company car broke down in Elko. Needed a tow back to Twin Falls Idaho. 3 hours in a car with stranger would normally be awkward. The driver was so easy to talk to and made me feel extremely comfortable. I would definitely recommend them.

Really great service. Michael did a fantastic job with getting my honeys bike loaded and then unloaded at a friends house. Super friendly and knowledgeable about how to load a big bike and strapping her down. Very impressed this time around.

Once Michael arrived everything was wonderful. There was a significant delay in the arrival and AAA never updated me like they said they would. So I put that on them and again, once Michael arrived he provided very efficient, prompt, professional service and went above and beyond to try and accommodate me and my schedule.

We were camping at Billy Shaw (about 95 miles from Elko) and our truck would not start. Seneca towed our Truck and Trailer. Dropped our truck off and made sure we were in a RV Park. He was very pleasant and we would gladly call him again if we needed a tow. Thank you so much. We are so grateful for the help.

Ownership has changed. They are not as reliable or friendly as previous owners. It is all about the $ to them. Dont expect great service. They are subscribers to Autoreturn service which is supposed to help you locate your vehicle after it gets towed. These fees are passed directly to the consumer for a system that almost never works in the rural areas. If you can call someone else. I believe you will be happier.

My wife and I broke down in Carlin Nv on our way to Sacramento. We called Lostra Bros Towing in Elko. The driver Dale, called us within 10 minutes and let us know he was on his way. He arrived less than 30 min later. He was very friendly and we could tell a true professional. He then drove us to a shop and even took us to our hotel after unloading our van. As for the rates. As a tower myself, I was very please at the response time. I even received a phone call letting me know he was on his way. Kris ( the driver)was awesome!!! I had anxiety of someone other than myself or husband load my own vehicle. That went away within minutes of his arrival. Kris knew what he was doing, and I felt at ease with his work. We had good conversation during our trip. The whole experience of breaking down and having your tire catch on fire was a little bit better because of Lostra Bros Towing! We were driving across country with our pickup and truck camper when 5 of the lug nuts broke off the rear wheel. Lars Hansen and Mike Charlton from Lostra towing arrived promptly got the truck and camper on the bed of the tow truck brought us to Purcell tire. These guys were both very professional. Seriously awful

So I have been on a road trip for a month,driven over 4,000 miles, and Im on my way home. Blow out on my truck while pulling a toy hauler down a grade in Nevada. Lostra bros comes 40 miles to get me, my dog, my truck, and my trailer. The driver Michael Sherman calls me personally after not so nice service from AAA. Mike did a fantastic job getting the truck to the shop, my trailer backed into an RV park, and even showed me some good local spots for dinner and breakfast since he knew I would be stuck here for a day or two. The professionalism and service was great. Thanks Mike and Lostra Bros for making a not so nice day bearable.

Driver passed me and had to wait 20 extra minutes then had questionable knowledge about towing and the rates were plenty steep, About 4x what it should have been. I have been a proud member of the towing and recovery profession for 5 years and this is not how towing should be done. This company should invest in sending their operators to wreckmaster or other accredited towing schools.

After our wheel fell off on Hwy 50,, in the middle of no where, driver Lars Hansen came to rescue us on time as scheduled. Lars was very professional and friendly. He did an excellent job towing a very difficult truck and camper situation without damage. He made a terrible situation much better. Our 3 hour tow was very pleasant and he was a great conversationalist! We recommend Lostra Bros towing and Lars.

We broke down twice the other week driving back from California. Kris picked us up both times, was super nice and friendly and made a tough situation a lot better! As much as I really hope theres not a next time, Id be happy to call Lofstra Bros Towing for breakdowns in the future.

Finding ourselves in need of a tow truck this morning, we were greatly appreciative of the service we received from Tim Atkins at Lostra Bros. Towing. He made contact with us via a phone call right away, informed us of our wait time until he arrived, was very efficient in loading our full size extended cab truck that was totally incapacitated onto his truck blocking traffic for only a very short time, and took our truck where it needed to go. Excellent customer service.

I end up broke down on the side of I-80 with myself and my 5 children. Michael Sherman and Lars Hansen. Where absolutely amazing they both helped calm my scared children down. They were quick with there response time. Did not take them long to hook my vehicle up at all. Just want to thank them for making a horrible experience a lot better.

On November 8th I hit a deer in secret pass. I was able to get my 2015 jeep home and called my insurance man then called Lostra Brothers Towing. Tim Atkins came to my house to take my jeep to Elko Motors. Tim was very professional and showed he cared about my problem. I was very pleased with the way Tim took time to explain the payment procedure and what I could do to pay it. the next day the jeep had to be towed again, called LB again requested Tim. he was on day off. If I could give zero stars I would!!! I locked myself out of my car and my 2 year old son was in the car. So someone called lostra brothers towing for me. The guy came out and got my car unlocked and said that it would be free of charge so I thanked him. He then came back and said that his boss wants him to charge me $96 for unlocking my car. I told the guy that I only had $94 in my bank account to last my family and I a week until payday. He said well give me your card and I will only charge $90 and that will leave you $4. What am I supposed to do with $4!!!

My motorcycle literally broke down (swing arm problem) approximately 50 miles out of Elko with the last 15 ending up on a dirt road! Lars picked me and my bike up and drove us into town. I was bummed about the whole deal, but his positive attitude was contagious and he encouraged me to try to continue my ride through Idaho. Thank you Kris Fleishman! My 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee overheared on Lamoille Highway in the middle of our heat wave yesterday. My insurance company immediately got ahold of Lostra Bros. And they were there within 30 minutes. Kris got the jeep and myself back to my house safe and sound and much cooler thanks to the air conditioner in that big beautiful truck!

Nothing but good things to say about my crummy time of breaking down. Once Google got me connected to this service things moved swiftly. The Service Driver, Michael Charlton called wilth his ETA within minutes of my original call. 30 minutes.. 15 minutes later. Mike calls and assured me he was nearly there. Best Towing Company ever, Lostra Bros. Towing CPCN #7146, it is pretty scary when you are in an unknown town, the driver was LARS HAnSEN, he is so dedicated on helping others, he had to be an angel. Previously I had called the Police Dept. hoping they could jimmy the lock, no longer providing this service, so I asked for a reference, and they gave me Lostra Bros. Towing, arrived withing such a short time, unlocked my car door, after I had been driving for 8 hrs. the only thing I could think about was garbing a pillow and crashing out, to start my journey again the next day. OK!!! Lets just say AMAZING.. Thank you Lars Hansen for your intuitive geniusness (that isnt a word but it fits) We were camping up at Taylor Canyon Resort and on the way to go hunting at 5am we hit a deer, damaging the front end of our truck. We made it back to our camp spot (where our 5th wheel was parked) and knew we could not drive out truck. We got a ride 9 miles down the road to call for a tow and Scottie was someone I would want to represent my company! She was so helpful and got Lars out there within 2.5 hours (we were 1.5 hours out of Elko). Lars hooked up our truck and our 5th wheel and off we went to a lovely RV Park in Elko. The truck is in the shop. Lostra Bros. Towing made our not-so-good situation much more bearable. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!
