I went for oil change and was helped by Bob. He is an amazing guy. Knows a lot and never tells you to do stuff unless your car actually needs those.

Replaced the alternator on my 2012 Honda crosstour. Needed a battery and head gaskets so I wont have the problem again thank you . I will return to do business again.

Years ago I owned an old blue Chevy truck. Lived in the country and needed a side job done. Wanted dual exhaust and the cat cut off. One of the long time employees said they dont do that work because its illegal. Told him what it was gonna be used for and he accepted me. He did everything I asked and did the best job Ive seen done. Took it back a year later because rust on my truck destroyed one of his welds. He fixed it free of charge. Awesome old school workers. Shops just cannot compare to the great hospitality here and work. Whatever the price, they do the job right!

Paid $348.27 for a Body Control Module and waited four weeks to be told that the part wasnt available and that mine had been sent out to be rebuilt but couldnt be rebuilt so the same part was put back into my van. My vehicle wouldnt start when I picked it up and I was shown how to unplug the module and plug it back in when I needed to start the vehicle. I contacted the corporate office and was told that I would receive a refund. Just checked my account and they took another $348.27 from my account instead of issuing a refund. I have been dealing with this issue close to three months now and still do not have a vehicle that runs or the refund that I was promised plus I now have another $348.27 taken from me! Dont trust them with your vehicle or your money!

I was having several issues with my truck. Jose checked it out and told me exactly what was going on. He was very polite and informative. I thought I would be able to hold off a few weeks before having to get it fixed. Unfortunately 2 days later my truck was not drive able. I contacted Jake, he went above and beyond to help me get my truck in and fixed as soon as possible. I have never had a mechanic that cared so much about their customers and going out of their way to help them. These guys were great! I would definitely recommend Tuffy Tire & Auto Service Center. Went to Tuffy by the Concord Mall. Bob was very kind and his guy there did a really good job. They replaced all 4 shocks and a couple brackets and did an oil Change on the truck. No one can beat their prices. The customer service was excellent! If you are tired of being pushed through like a number with over priced, rude people that act like you are a bother. Then dont do it any more, just call Bob at Tuffys, its great old fashioned customer service and he doesnt over charge. We highly reccomend this place.

My wife and I own a fleet of vehicles for our business and each vehicle accumulates roughly 100,000 miles per year per vehicle. I spoke to Steve the owner and he hooked me up with a fleet deal for a pretty good price. I started taking my vehicles there and I have had issues with nearly every vehicle after picking them up. Im not going to go into complete detail otherwise this will be a long message, but long story short, Steve made it right with me each time. I understand mistakes will be made and it only matters if they make it right with you and have Integrity. The last job they did for me was a clutch job in which I supplied my own parts. I got my vehicle back and made it about a block down the road and my clutch started messing up to the point where it became undriveable after about 5 miles. So I got a hold of them and they offered to look it over to figure out the problem. They ended up not diagnosing it properly, so I took it down the road to another well-known shop and had them diagnose and ultimately fix the problem which was a damaged slave cylinder. They think the slave cylinder got damaged from the clutch job, but it was also an original slave cylinder and could have been wore out as well. I contacted Steve and asked what he would be willing to do about me having the bill at the other shop when his shop should have diagnosed it and fixed it. I offered to split the bill with him and he countered that with offering to pay for it in full plus a little extra. Im not quite sure if that was a going-away present to where he dont want to work on my stuff anymore or if he was truly making it right about that issue. I guess only time will tell. With my vehicles being used over the road, its very critical that my stuff is done correctly and in a timely manner otherwise I lose a lot of revenue. That was the only negative thing was the constant issues costing me a considerable amount of lost revenue which made the fleet savings that Steve gave me nonexistent. But they are willing to go above and beyond and correct their mistakes and that is the reason I am giving them a 5-star.

I had a driver Break Down In our Ford Cargo Van at 4:00 in the afternoon. I got a tow truck called and then I called Tuffys to see if they could Look at it if I had I had it towed there. They assured me they could. Shortly after 5:00 I received a call from them asking if I was still coming. I assured them I was and the tow truck was just getting there. It was 5:30 by the time they got my van. They found the parts Charged me a fair price and my driver was back on the road by 7:30. Tuffys closes at 6:00 and they stuck around. Our delivery was made on time and our customer had no idea we even broke down!!! Thanks So Much!!

Had a great experience with Tom today, the manager at Tuffy.Ive ran into some bad luck with totalling my vehicle a few weeks ago and then my rental breaking down on me which landed me over at Tuffy.I called the rental place a number of times letting them know what was going on. But to no avail. They never called me back.Needing a vehicle I thought I would go talk to the manger (Tom) at Tuffy face to face.By the time I got there he had all ready taken charge of the situation and ordered parts. A risk on his part.We talked and with the price being so reasonable and the service being outstanding I decided that I would just pay for the work and move on from this bad situation.Im so thankful for Tom and the team at Tuffy for being fare and helping me out of a disaster.Had a great experience with fast service and somebody that is actually willing to get work done.Highly recommend Tuffy

Any issue I have had with my cars they are the only place I trust Tom is very honest and doesnt try to sell you what you dont need. They are always quick to get it done and overall just excellent customer service. You can walk out knowing they are not trying to pull a fast one on you and as a woman thats been a concern but definitely do not have that here any questions or concerns are always answered and explained to where you dont need to be a mechanic to understand which is appreciated. Id give them 20 stars if possible but settle for 5☆

I had an exhaust leak that I was told would be an expensive repair. I went to Tuffy at 5PM hoping they could look at it Ann setup an appointment for the repair. The Tuffy team did better than that; the inspected, explained the repair and performed the work . I was amazed at their speed and quality of their work. And the cost? I feel Tuffy is very price competitive and repaired only what was needed.

We have taken several Vehicles here over the last five or six years and we have always been treated fairly and received good service. The staff has earned my continued business. Their prices are fair and their turnaround time is pretty quick.

Great Job on My vehicle. I took my car to Midas and Muffler Man and they couldnt even find the problem. Tuffy found it right away and fixed everything in one day. Price was reasonable I would highly recommend them to fix your car !

Do not put trust in this place to fix your vehicle. I did not know anything about replacing my radiator so I take my vehicle here, after paying 500$ for the labor and everything they tell me that I need my thermostat replaced. I put my trust in this place to get it done. I go inside to check on my vehicle and the mechanic says he started on it and I can look so I walk back to my car with him and he has the hose off, drained the coolant and my car is just sitting... then I say okay how much longer and he says maybe an hour! I say, why? All you have to do is replace the thermostat right here as I’m pointing to it.. and he says I was just taking A breather. Then proceeds to say maybe 30 more minutes. At this time I’m angry. So I’m waiting outside and see the mechanic walking out, he tells me he has the wrong part and needs to go get the right one. Now how is this possible!? This place is a joke and the mechanic does not care about anyone’s vehicles. A thermostat should take less than 30 mins! Now I’m paying over 120$ for this. Ridiculous.

Called tuffy with what I call a emergency. Oil leaking out in big amounts, oil spraying all over under the hood, and no oil left in the vehicle. When I arrived I was greeted by the friendly staff, they listened to what happend, what I seen going on and even what I thought was wrong. They pulled it into the bay, seconds later problem found told me come take a look. They also let me know with oil all over my alternator was compromised and may fail(tuesday) They worked hard ALL day on my vehicle only taking breaks while waiting on parts, they worked past close on it. Thursday my battery light comes on I knew what that ment. I drove straight to tuffy left it running in the parking lot told them battery light is on they pulled it right in. As they told me tuesday it was failing!!!! With it being less then a year old the manager called the part store for me and got that taken care of. They go above and beyond, they have amazing teamwork at this store ! They also have two finance options (no credit checks)witch helps a ton when your in a crunch!!! THANKS AGAIN GUYS!!!!

We were having trouble from what we thought was our muffler for a few months, finally decided to head to Midas in Goshen to get it fixed. We had been there years earlier to get our muffler replaced. We didnt know that the place had closed. We always read reviews to check out businesses before we hire them. Tuffy was over the top with the best reviews, Tom introduced himself with a hand shake and ask us how he could help us. We sat in a comfortable waiting area while he checked out the car. In less then an hour it was fixed and and we let Tom know that we appreciate the fast service. I would highly recommend this team to anyone . Thanks Tom for all your help. I happened to think about getting the repairs done that i needed on my way home from work, so called them spontaneously, and they got me in there within 5 minutes of my arrival, and had exhaust work done, pipes and muffler replaced, in a very short amount of time. Quality work. When I got in my car to leave, it felt like a whole new car! Very friendly and polite staff, great communication, highly recommend!

Had an issue with my brakes not holding pressure so I went in to have them looked at thinking my master cylinder was leaking and it turns out it was good and i just had air in the lines so Tom saved me about $300. I also like the fact that they are open past noon on saturdays. keep up the good work guys!

I went in a Saturday and found them to be extremely busy. At first they politely deniedmy request for an oil change , but when Id backed up and getting ready to pull out , oneof the gentlemen was standing at my window.He had said he was supposed to be on break , but could squeeze my truck in Thats the service I got !!!From the time I got there to the end they were top notch. I took my mothers van in because she was concerned and wanted to get her brakes checked, thats what you got to do I paid the $40 to have them check it out just for them to give me a quote of almost $800 of work that needed to be done to brakes, rotors, and calipers!I decided to get a second opinion took it down to Daves Auto just to find out everything that he wanted to replace was brand new! She only need brake fluid!! Absolutely horrible! Had my elderly mothher went bt herself she would have paid $800 for nothing!

Friendly, congenial staff; the wait was brief and communication was good. They do a nice job with my car, offering helpful suggestions for possible issues I may encounter in the future but without pressuring me to have them taken care of immediately.

I knew I had issues with my truck, but I am limited in my available resources. Tom took the time to examine my truck thoroughly and physically pointed out issues one by one so that I could see them while also quoting me on what needed to be done and which items should be done in order of importance. I WILL go there again for many of the repairs that I need.

I needed brakes done quickly as they suddenly were giving me trouble and I needed to travel out of town later this week. I stopped in at Tuffys and was able to get in right away and they looked over the car and called promptly to give me a quote. When I questioned Tom about the job and why the calipers needed to be replaced he explained everything to me in laymans terms and very patiently. The car was done promptly, I was called and the warranty was explained to me. Tom was courteous and though it cost a little more than what I was prepared for I feel confident that it was a job well done and if not that it will be made right.

Great repair place!My car sounded possessed; revving loudly, shaking badly and check engine light blinking from misfires. I had the car in to a different auto repair place (Sears auto) that could not figure out what was wrong. they pretty much had me throw money and parts at it until I was broke. Took my car home $600 lighter and no closer to a solution.I took the car to Tuffy next and they had it figured out and fixed the problem in less than a day! They are affordable, helpful, knowledgeable, and can exercise the worst of car demons!Thanks again guys you are the best and I will be coming to you for all future repairs!

Took my 2017 ford flex there for an oil change just before a long road trip on 7-27-18.Got home from trip to find less than a qt of oil left in engine because of faulty installation of oil filter. Almost cost me a new engine. Go somewhere else if youre smart.

Years ago this store broke the shifter in my Volkswagen. The tech clearly didnt understand how reverse in Volkswagens work and it was forced into reverse.They refused to acknowledge this and refused to listen as the change was nowhere near the shifter.Finally the work they did on the exhaust failed days later when welds broke.The final straw was when they attempted to charge me to fix their initial poor work.

I brought my car in for a break pad replacement and when I got my car back it was vibrating when I hit about 45-50 miles an hour. I found out that the caliper had been broken. I took the car back and asked if it could have happened during the break pad change. I was told “Ohhhhh NO! We don’t touch the calipers when replacing only pads.” -Well I believed it because I was ignorant to anything that had to do with cars. I was charged $413.19 for the damage they costed me, due to the caliper messing up my new breaks and my rotors. I get the car back and I’m on my way to work going 55 miles an hour and my break light kicks on. I go to test my breaks in a panic, and my peddle went straight to the floor. No breaks at ALL. All the break fluid leaked out of the tire they worked on. They got a tow truck to pick my car up. I asked for the bosses number because at this point I realize I was lied to about “not having to touch the calipers” and wanted my money back, especially since I almost died AND missed 2 days of work. They refused to give me the number and said they took down my information for him. It has been 3 weeks tomorrow, and I’ve called over a dozen times... No one ever tried to make things right with me on that. Never got my call back, and never gave me his number - after all this time.I would not recommend this place to a single soul. It was an absolute JOKE!!!!I’d give them -5 stars if it was an option

I have not had my vehicle serviced by them but noticed recently while waiting at the they were out in the parking lot revving out a car, hopefully it was not a customers car. It was blowing smoke, maybe they were getting the oil to flow better to have it ready for the customer when he picks it up. Ill check them off my list of trusted places to take my car.

I drove my buick there because of an exhaust leak in my catalytic converter. Spoke with the manager told him the problem. He said they would weld a whole shut in my catalytic converter. He lied they made the leak louder instead of quieter. Pissed me off I demanded my 💰 back. Dont ever take your car. I wouldnt take a toy there. Those people r dishonest.

Was traveling home with our camper. Brakes caliper was catching called Tuffy shop and asked if they could get us going the same day. Since I was from Chicago I thought they had a hour and half to finish it until close, tight to be sure. They actually had 30 min to close with the time difference. Always stand by their work. Many times the work they do outlast your car. Yesterday I got my starter changed, and when driving down the road I noticed steam. Turns out a hose got a hole. Went back and immediately got a free fix.🙌

They over charge they told me it would cost 600 dollars for a 99 dollar radiator only _8 bolts 1-2 hour later I put it in my self

I had set up an appointment about two weeks before, but when I showed up for the appointment I was rudely denied service. It was simple muffler work, and I had an appointment, but the owner turned me down because he has a truck he really needs to finish. He then told me to look at it myself and come back later. It was appallingly rude, inconsiderate, and poor business.
