Did good work on my car also was willing to show me explain what was going on and why it was going on. They make sure to do a fallow up with you too make sure that your happy with their work and that everything is working right. Will answer any questions you have the best that they can.

Stephen was very professional and had his tech check out my car for noise in my tires. They found I needed a control arm and tire replaced. I was in and out with the information needed all within 15 minutes. Great speedy service!

The manager Steve and his guys at this location are awesome. Took my sons car there because the steering wheel was not straight when driving straight down the road. They took a look at it, found the issue and took care of it without trying to sell me stuff I didnt need. Care drives like new and will gladly drive the 25 miles one way for the great service.

I wish I could give 10 stars. My experience here was the best auto shop experience Ive ever had. From start to finish, everything was great. They were friendly, playful, and helpful. My time from arrival to leaving was very fast, even without an appointment. The person running the counter was funny and helpful, and the tech, Earnest, explained things and gave me time estimates along the way. They all seemed genuinely happy to have me and others as customers and I actually enjoyed my time there. I will absolutely go back for every car need in the future!

Called to ask for price of oil change, which I told was $17.99 with coupon, so I scheduled an appointment. I was charged $38.81 for a high-mileage oil change, which I never asked for, or agreed to and was told sorry when I questioned it. Same thing happened to me years ago at this location. Be forewarned!

They talked about helping with financing for some car issues we needed. The person there talked about this easy pay financing and he made it seem like we would only be paying it for about 4 months. A year later we are still paying it and we have paid the total amount for what was needed probably about 5 times. If you go here dont sign up for their financing as they will make it seem like you only pay it for a few months and you will be paying it for a while.Also I was there recently and when I asked for the services, rather then just saying they cant do it today, they guy was like, No. Very rude.

Being a woman I am sometimes hesitant when it comes to vehicle repair. I had an emergency with my Jeep, I needed it towed to a place that opened early and could quickly fix a over heating issue. When speaking with Dakota, I immediately felt respected and knew I was speaking with someone who not only has exceptional knowledge but excellent custom service. He listened to my issues, made a few suggestions, but first made sure I knew what was important. After a full diagnostic he called me and went over my options, not once did I feel he was “over selling”. He was genuine and had no work started until I gave the okay. My goal was to make sure my Jeep was completely repaired and that’s exactly what they did. If they worked on a part and noticed something else wasn’t right, he called me and asked me if it was okay to repair or replace and offered his professional opinion! Today I went there to get an estimate done for repairs because I didnt have money to get my car fixed. Cody greeted me and told me he would be glad to have my car looked at. Upon inspection, it was determined that my car was unsafe to drive. After the estimate, he walked me through the financing options and got me approved for financing to get my car fixed! Cody was very professional, polite, funny, personal, caring, and kept me updated on my progress while also making sure the right parts were received and installed and managed the workers. He kept reassuring me the work was going fine and I would have a safe car and all is going good. In the end, my car actually runs better than ever. He explained the warranty process and said if there are any issues to bring it in.we found one issue and I will bring it in as soon as I can in the next few days to have them look at. Ive had excellent, fast service at this location, twice now. Both were emergency repairs that could have destroyed a busy schedule (I know, we all experience that). Their work is expert and honest. This location has a privately owned/caring about service feel to it,while part of a national brand. Highly recommended.

We had a trip to Indy for a our grandsons 2nd birthday and it seemed everything was working against us. When we couldnt change our flat because the lug nuts were stripped Dakota and his guys got us in and on the road quickly even though they were swamped. They truly saved our trip and I will forever be grateful.

I had a screw in my tire and it was very close to closing time (on a Saturday mind you). I called ahead to let them know I was on my way and the woman working at front desk was very nice and told me how much to expect to pay when I got there, and said they would be able to get me in even despite the time of day. The work they did was just a patch but to me it was a life saver as I had a long trip ahead of me. I would recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a great tire shop. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. If I could I would leave 5 more stars. Thank you for having a great staff and eating me back on the road safely.

Wayyy too overpriced and they made my truck worse! They didnt even do my alignment right! I couldnt even turn left! Had to go back to get it fixed the next day. Very inconvenient and unprofessional. DO NOT GO! Save your money and go somewhere else. Thank me later.

These folks are awesome! We’re planning a trip out of town in our RV - started it up late Thursday night to find someone had stolen our cadaldic converter (I’d like to come face to face with that dude!) - I called Mary at 7:30 the next morning and explained my situation and that were or wanted to leave that afternoon- without hesitation she said give a bit and let me see what I can do- she called back said she found what I needed and if I wanted it done she could have the parts brought over - I said hell ya! I got there DJ took my keys, worked in it for about an hour, and had me on my way! What great customer service! What great people! You need work done, bring it here- they are the best!

I have had brakes done here twice in the last 4 years. My first trip was like a 7 hour wait....it was horrible. Went today and got new brakes and rotors put on in an hour. New management and better staff. Will definitely return. Very friendly too.

I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go here if you’re on a time frame or have something important to do afterwards. Went in just to get an Oil change @ 10:45 didn’t leave until 12:35. They definitely take their time here. Customer service was terrible. ❌❌❌

My wife and I brought our 2016 Ford Focus in to Midas at the recommendation of my brother, one of the mechanics. I was kind of skeptical because shops can get expensive. But they did a Courtesy check for free to find out what was wrong. Adjusted the rotor backing that rubbing the rotor, and told me what else was wrong. A pulley tensioner and serpentine belt, alignment, and oil change were required (and these arent false charges. I knew something was severely wrong with the car after I slid on ice and hit a curb). They were able to get everything done (except the serpentine belt and tensioner because they wont be available until tomorrow) in less than 2 hours. And, since I didnt have the money for repairs up front, Cody, the GM, was able to help get financed for $0 Down and only $62 every other week. Im very pleased with the service. I will bring my car here from now on instead of being a YouTube certified mechanic. Haha. Thanks, guys, for outstanding service and stellar work.

They were closed when I drove by but I took a chance and asked for help because I aHad wires showing on my tire and apparently no jack and have a 40 minute drive home. Ryan helped me out and fixed my spare and changed my tire. So blessed for him to help me.

I wish that I didnt have to give ANY stars...Midas, your store located on 2692 S Main St, Elkhart, IN 46517 is the saddest excuse for a business. The Store Manager there is atrocious, and extremely unprofessional. We trusted your business to handle our car with care, and to shoot us straight with honesty. Everything BUT this had happened. After spending $2600.00 at your establishment to fix our vehicle, now we are having to PURCHASE a new vehicle due to the repairs you made. Which in all actuality, you have caused $6000.00 now in damages that we would need to shell out to fix our vehicle, and that kind of money is insane considering we just spent $2600.00.Quite frankly, we cannot believe that you all are still in business after having several conversations with others that had to purchase new vehicles as well after your establishment fixed their vehicles too.We tried numerous times to have your business rectify this situation with NO resolution. In fact, we just inquired more bills for towing our vehicle back and forth.To anyone who is reading this, RUN! Do NOT let them touch your vehicle, unless you are looking to purchase a brand-new vehicle in the end.

I came in at the beginning of a week with my van thinking it was just break rear pads that need to be replaced. When I drove my van in the lot it would not even go in reverse. I left it under their care to see what all could be wrong. Well needless to say after lifting it up under the van were parts that have not even been replaced since the beginning of the vehicle so things were rusted out. Also my tires were done for beyond repair. The manager even told me it was a liability if they let me drive it off the lot in that condition which no one else ever told me that. I told them I had personal things and I need to finance some they said no problem they got a Midas card interest free for a year. On top of 1000 dollar tires for 700. Plus all the discounts that were applied. I walked out with a heck of a deal on all the work that needed to be done. Also Brittany the assistant manager took my kids to school and an appointment I couldnt miss. Than when I come back to get my vehicle finished up they had customer appreciation days and got seat covers, steering wheel cover, dust cleaner, and air freshener all for free. They do care about their customers. They all deserve a bonus the manager, Gio, and both Brittanys working their tails off to help the customers. You pay for what quality work you get done on your car. It pays to shop around.

They have had my truck for a week and 2 days ordered the wrong parts 2 times and I paid for the labor and the parts and now they have given me another date for my truck to get done. Plus their workers never work but 1 and thats geo. I feel bad for him.

Really nice people there and their service has been good, but I had some issues. I have gotten back into my car with it smelling absolutely terrible inside, their service is incredibly slow, and they recommend a lot of work on my car (more than what was needed), totaling up to $3,400 when the dealership did almost all of the same work for $1300. If youre up for more than regular oil change/tire rotation Id go elsewhere to save your pocketbook.

Easygoing staff provides quality service. Prices are alright, but wait times are terrible - with or without an appointment. Both times Ive been here, the service took nearly 2x as long as the approximate time they told me it would take.Ill probably still be back, because I do trust Midass work. Just dont go here if youre in a hurry.

I had a hole in my exhaust pipe where it mounts to the frame. I was expecting to hear the usually line that you need a complete new exhaust system but instead they simply welded it up as they should have and charged me $20. This is an honest shop that you can trust!I also went to them for new tires because I was tired of waiting in line at Discount Tire. They had the tires I needed in stock and got me in & out at a very competitive price!

I am an experienced mechanic, but I lack proper tools. So when my car made funny noises I concluded it was a warped brake rotor. Wanting to be certain it was a brake rotor, I took it to Midas for a second opinion and explained the car had new tye rods, new ball joints, new shocks, and new wheel bearings. The woman at the counter was not friendly. She kept saying bet you didnt put the wheel bearings on right and probably didnt grease the ball joints. When they pulled my car in the garage after whipping it around the parking lot a few times like speed racer, I then had to sit in the sun for a couple hours since they couldnt close the blinds for some reason. When they finally finished inspecting it, they told me it was both my lower arm controls. The cost? 1,200$. For two 80$ parts and an hours worth of time. They didnt even look at the rotor. Well after a bit of arguing about how Im not paying that much for parts thatd need to be fixed, they reluctantly gave me my car back. I then proceeded to Advanced Autoparts, got me a brake rotor, slapped that puppy on, and my cars been running fine since. Seriously, do not go here. They will scam you.

On 2/11/2014, I noticed a noise coming from the front end of my truck. I asked around and was referred to Midas. I have to say from the moment I walked in I was impressed. My vehicle was taken back to a bay within minutes of my arrival. 20 minutes later I had not only a thorough explanation of the problem but an estimate as well. Because the repair required dealer parts I had to take it back in this morning. Again the level of customer service was phenomenal and the repair was completed quicker than planned.

This is the worst repair shop ever that has totally made me lose any and all trust I would ever have for the Midas brand. I wouldnt recommend Midas to anyone in the world ever again.They took in my bus back in the middle of June and Im just now getting it back in late August.I was told for nearly 2 months they were adjusting the timing and they charged me nearly 400$ for something that simple. They tell me its ready and I make the 100 mile journey to pick up my bus and it was doing the exact same thing I bought it to Midas for. Finally everyone realized the 400$ timing job wasnt the issue and the carburator needed replaced. They replaced it with no charge after I spent another 280$ on a new carburator just to keep it another 2+ weeks and the lady Brittany had it towed to an impound without informing me that was her intentions and she knew I lived in another city and needed to make arrangements to come. I called the corporate Midas office and due to her ignorance and negligence the owner of the company had to eat 343$ of that towing bill while I was still forced to pay an additional 175$. I shouldnt have had to pay anything because my bus shouldve never been towed in the first place.Im so upset with this Midas company it doesnt make since. Theyve switched management 3 times in 3 months and they ate extremely unprofessional. The owner knows she wasnt supposed to tow my bus and hasnt offered to reimburse me for my costs that were their fault. DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANYTHING!!!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS PLACE! I had brakes done and then a few months later I tried to get the tires replaced. Unfortunately they had tightened and stripped every nut. I went back to ask if they would do anything for me but claimed since I went to another shop they werent responsible. I let them know that one tire wasnt touched and they could verify or correct any problems. But they adamantly claimed they did nothing wrong and had no need to verify their work. I have photos of the damage done to the rim. so 16 studs and nuts are over $200 damage not to mention the 2 rims. Now I know why they didnt want to see how much damage they caused to my vehicle.

Prices are rediculous but its s chain shop so its expected. I just went for an alignment and they came up with alot of problems that were going to cost me 1200 dollars to repair before I could even get an alignment which I would also be charged for. Im a hobby mechanic so I knew they were trying to cheat me. Took the truck across town and they had me out in 1.5 hours. If you dont know cars, dont go here

Ive been a Midas customer since 1999. I have used Mishawaka and Elkhart. I know the managers who have been at those locations plus South Bend and Benton Harbor. Ive had many vehicle problems over the years that they have fixed right. Even if it needed more work after it was done the first time, they have always made it right and at an even better price. They do take care of their customers which is why I have been loyal for the past two decades.
