An amazing place That will put your child & safety first. Very flexible, easy & clear when signing contract. Daughter loves the Farm atmosphere, Inez especially. Rules are always followed, guidelines are clear and set and I value that especially after seeing how other facilities run. Highly recommend for all services!

Right before the Pandemic hit, I was told to call and see what chicks in crisis offered for myself and children in the new situation I found myself forced into. I called, got an appointment and followed the protocols set (which is to be expected- it helps children & families after all) I got much needed diapers/wipes and resources! Started woman’s group but thanks covid we know things changed. Support was given, lots of advice and now I refer my local clients in need to call Inez for resources or help.Never felt judged even in my most delicate state. That is highly important to me, Staff is honest, straight forward, Helpful & my children just didn’t wanna leave, So much fun playing.

This place is Amazing...! Im a dad, who was fighting a restraining order. My name thrown in the dirt. And to say that Inez greeted me with no judgements... is an understatement. Chicks in crisis was built with love and it shows by way of all the care and love that was shown to me and my son during our visits. After vindicating myself in court and winning custody of my son we always come back and visit Inez and all the lovely people ( and animals!lol) we have come to love and cherish as family. I can’t say enough about this place... a true home away from home!

I once called and ask for temporary assistance. I was refused nicely. About a month later I received an email from someone of this organization. She wanted me to send her money because she was stranded out of town!! I never responded and was upset that she had the nerve to ask me! Im glad I never met them in person.

Staff is kind of Weird there... Ive had some hit or miss interactions with the young girl here who watches over the baby closet stuff, but overall if youre a mommy in need, this is the place to go for anything. There are limits to how often you can swing by and how much stuff you can grab I think depending on need/supply.

I am only giving one star because this will not let me give zero stars. I am not usually the type of person to leave a negative review, but I am very upset and taken back by the event that happened yesterday. I have been trying for two months to drop off infant clothes (practically brand new), formula and other nursing items. The hours of operation dont work with my work schedule. I called in to see how I could drop off the donation. First I was told they had just gotten someone to work until 5pm - when I called to verify a week later, they told me that was not true. OK stuff happens. So I asked again how I could drop off the donation. I was told by the person on the phone to show up on Tuesday since they have legal meetings on that night. So last night I worked it out and got off work early to make it in time. When I got to the office, some (rude) girl said, We closed at 4 but Ill take the items. I explained to her that this was when I was told to come. She asked with attitude Who told you this? I told her not sure it was who answered the phone. She then repeated we close at 4 and I couldnt come in. I told her if she didnt want the donation I could take it elsewhere. She then said no we will take the donation but we close at 4 and started to repeat the same lines as before. I had to walk away so I wouldnt make a scene. I didnt even get a thank you! She acted like I was bothering her! I just want to give to someone who doesnt have the friends and family to buy them items like I have been blessed with. I know first-hand how expensive clothes and especially formula can be. I hope this review is taken seriously and management re-evaluates the workers they have. I have talked to a couple of mothers I know and they also received attitude when speaking with people from this office. Its a shame; we all agree that if this is how it is going to be, we will take our donations elsewhere.

A very caring and wonderful organization. Helped my daughter and grand-daughter through some very difficult times. I have loved volunteering with them for the last several years and am amazed at how much they have done for the community and families with the donations they get. Would like to see more from a few of the people they help an Attitude of Gratitude. They have guidelines they have to follow for services and this non-profit organization has demonstrated so much kindness and compassion for over 20 years! Wow. Great Job Inez, Denee, Rachel, and all the staff at Chicks in Crisis. Thank you.

This charity is solely run on donations and by volunteers and works hard to supply essentials like diapers for young parents who have aged-out of the foster care system, who are often human trafficking victims, and need help with jobs and/or adoptions. Great work, well done. The Gobble Wobble on Thanksgiving morning raises funds and awareness.

I work at another non-profit and I love this place. It makes me happy to know that they hold their clients accountable while providing what they need. We could use many more agencies like this in the Sacramento area and everywhere in general.

Inez will talk to adoptive parents for your unborn child without your permission and then Try to convince you to choose adoption. Be very careful. Sure they are willing to help pregnant women but have crappy attitudes when telling them you want to keep your child.

I called and spoke with the founder of Chicks in crisis Inez and she was very rude and not helpful at all. I am not sure if she was having a bad day or what however, it was very hurtful and disappointing. I really felt as if I was bothering her. All of her responses were negative, I felt like she did not want me coming to her program
