This place was fantastic! Very fun for kids of all ages but especially the littles. They had a variety of toys and play options. The kids really enjoyed the castle and the soft ramps/stairs.There is a lot to do, much to create, and even a seating area for parents.To top it off, they offer free coffee to parents!

A clean, imagination-inducing, indoor play place with an eating area for families or for adults to sit and watch their kids play at a safe distance. These kinds of play places are all over bigger cities, and I’m excited that Elk Grove now has one, too! My kids (6, 2, and 10 months) all had a great time!

The best party we have ever had!!!!! Thanks to the amazing team at imagination. Tammy made the cutest party favors (picture down below) that tied my whole party together ❤. I was in abosulte awe with those boxes! Not to mention the decorations were also so perfect. I would have left them as is if my daughter and I did not spend some much time making our own decorations :( and I realized I did not take a picture of the orginal decorations:(-sorry guys. From the moment we arrived until the very end Tiffany, our party host was so wonderful! Actually wonderful would be an anderstatement! she was absolutely amzaing! She was caring, easy to work with and sooooo helpful! Our cake actually had a mini disaster and Tiffany worked her magic and make it look amazing!! This place Literally something for everyone (all the kids at our party age ranged from 1-13 were all playing with something). Anyone that wants to have a perfectly organized party this is the place for you! -(oh and your kids and guest will love it too!)Sidenote: we ordered Mickey and Minnie on our own.Details: Our party had 40 adults and 20 kids (give or take) and I was stressed about space but everyone fit perfectly. This place really is bigger than it seems!

For any toddler, this is a fun place. 😍They have castle, Camp site, Beauty and the beast castle, lemonade stand, cashier stand, train track area, etc.My 3 year old daughter had so much fun pretenting to be baking chocolate chip cake, dressing up in the costume, playing with the cash register and playing with her classmates here. She had tons of fun.Definitely this place needs a big sign outside. And Tammy(owner) is super sweet to talk. Its a brand new place, you can smell the fresh paint, carpet. The workers are super sweet and constantly cleaning and picking up after the little kiddos. Theyre doing a great job. They have free Wi-Fi. The kids can play while parents can sit back and enjoy.Ill highly recommend this place to all the parents.

I brought my 4 year old daughter here for a birthday party. Its essentially an indoor playground with some arts and crafts. The kids seemed to like the play area which has a ton of toys and a pirate ship and castle. There are several tables and chairs for the adults to sit at. They even provided complimentary coffee!The age range for this place is toddler to about 6/7.

Booked a private party and it was AWESOME!! Highly recommend.

This place is great and fun for kids. During covid they do check temperatures before you enter and also have you sanitize your hands. The Santa pictures look great and professionally taken by the owner.

Very dirty! On my first visit I hoped it was a bad day for them, I’ve gone twice more and it’s only getting worse. The costumes smell disgusting and every toy and surface is filthy. The bathrooms are gross, I avoid them. It’s a bummer because my kids love coming.

Imagination play is great for little kids. Its inside and safe.

Space is too small and toys dirty.. was scared baby touching it.. too expensive for not clean space.On a while staying here - they cleaned and people left mostly after 2 pm.The good thing is they provide a free tea. Very good tea. I loved it and it increased my mood.Can be better if they rent a bigger room. But toys are good. My kid loved it.

First time here but it was a nice place & the babies had fun. There is a room just for the younger kids (a year & under)which was nice because they could play without me worrying they would get hurt on the big kids toys. I just wish there was a place like this closer to home.

Love imagine play for my 3 yearold. Would give a 5 star but some of the upclass moms do make it feel a little uncomfortable. And make it like their kids are more entitled. But my daughter had a blast.

My poor 2 year old has been stuck inside for 4 days due to how hazardous the air quality has been here in Sacramento. We found this place (since a playground is out of the question) and we are so glad we did. Perfect for toddlers! Has a lot of toys and entertainment inside and I noticed how the employee on duty was doing very well on keeping up with the cleaning and making sure everything was disinfected . we spent 2 hours there and the time went by really fast. My son played by himself the whole time but still managed to tire himself out. They have an area with tables where you can easily sit and watch your child play. They have a snack bar/area where coffee and tea are complimentary and where you can also purchase snacks if you want. You have to take off your shoes prior to entering the play area, so dont forget socks! It was 12.50 for our son and I think 8.50 for any other children. It was worth it! We will be back!

Visited recently and wanted to give a quick review. Very clean and fun atmosphere with plenty of open ended activities and pretend play. Great for kids 1-4 years old that may have never played in a group setting and a great place to practice sharing and taking turns. I like how the parents are expected to watch their little one during the visit, thus its not just a free for all unsafe atmosphere. Great place to have a kids party too! btw they offer free coffee and tea along with snacks for sale. they are nut free and you are welcome to bring in your own food. I really like how they clean the toys, have free art projects on occasion and the music is geared more towards us parents. thanks IP for providing a great indoor space!

Free Coffee! A mini cafe with tables and chairs was convenient. Plenty of toys, pedal cars, magnets, and a couple of large playhouses with slides! My 1 and 4yo had a good time. Everyone was friendly, and they had a small craft in a separate room 2x while we were there for 3 hours.

Place looked like it needed a good scrubbing. The lady looking over the place gave off a not too friendly vibe like she didnt want the kids to be too messy so she won’t have to clean up after. Bit disappointed by that.

My daughter loves this place. She loves the pirate boat, the vet area, and farm areas in particular. There is a good variety of activities and its a nice reprieve from the heat when outdoor play is not possible. Staff are all friendly and professional. They provide free coffee and hot water for tea and plenty of seating for the adults.

Love this place! It’s always a blast for my kid! He has such a good time. Sometimes the kids there are a little rowdy, but thats to be expected after all they’re kids right... lol. The owner is very nice and had opened this place specifically because she wanted a place to be able to take her kids, so it was designed by a mom. And it doesn’t get any better than that.

This place is for toddlers. And its AMAZING. Maybe its like playing at home but theres socialization, new toys, and no need to clean. I love that this is here in Elk Grove. If you have toddlers, go check it out!!

It is really sad to see people (mainly moms) post Such negative reviews when the issues they’re complaining, about are literally baseless & a bit exaggerated. This place IS very CLEAN, they literally wipe the tables & chairs down all the time. As for the toys in the play area, these are also Very clean. *Case & point; * I have yet to pick up a single toy that is covered with the usual “mystery substance“ In which toys are often covered in! Sooo... I’m not too sure what other commenters are talking about, but if you’re doubting this then go look for yourself because as someone who is EAISLY grossed out & highly critical when it comes to cleanliness (or lack there of..) it passes my test.With that being said if you’re looking for a fun place to take your little one then this is the place for you! Admission is reasonably priced, be sure to bring Or wear socks (Both adult & child) - if you forget then you can purchase a pair from them (and they have a selection of cute socks to pick from too lol.) I love bringing my 3year old here to play... can’t think of a better place to let him have fun & trust that he’s safe. While he is playing I am on my my iPad getting some work done, (just don’t be ‘that’ parent who lets their child cause chaos and stare at their phone the whole time, the staff does not babysit the kids- it’s not a daycare.. so you still have to parents and intervene when necessary.)If you haven’t visited imagine play before - I highly recommend it ! !

Not very easy to find the first time. Need some signs.Otherwise its a beautiful place, very clean. My 2 yo and 4 yo loved it! Nice attention for parents with complimentary coffee and free WIFI. My kids also loved the different activities offered and the bubble dance.

We really enjoyed our first visit. There were enough things for the kids to do. I dont think many kids over 7 would be that entertained but thats why the price for that age group is less. This place is definitely for toddlers and preschoolers.

My kids age 1-7 all love this place. They switch out some of the toys regularly, and the hourly activities (sensory, art, movement, etc) keep the place new and exciting each time. We got the membership.

Love this place! So nice to have somewhere to play indoors when outside is out of the question.

We see a lot of hard edges that one day a little one will get hurt when they trip, slip or fall. Also the place needs a thorough cleaning . You can see it hasnt been swept in while, especially the castle and ship area. I also noticed the toys feels dirty. Many little hands are all over toys and things and we can sense the place desperately needs disinfection to kill the many germs kids bring to this place...

What a cool place for little kids to play on a rainy day!

This place in my opinion is best for ages 1-5 they have activities and lots of fun things for your littles to play with. Perfect for a rainy day to get the kids out of the house or for playdates. It is a little pricy, and make sure everyone wears socks!I was surprised how clean they keep it, they were constantly cleaning and staff was active and visible during my entire visit.Overall really cute and fun for littles, they can also host your kids birthday parties but they do book dates fast so best to call far in advance.

Just a large room full of toys for toddlers. Nothing spectacular but the toddlers enjoy it.

Seems legit. We went there for our 1 year old but its really geared towards a little older. We went to their regular play and stayed for an extra play event--this one was themed after the movie Trolls. It seemed a little pricey at first, but they had crafts, treats, and someone in costume from the movie. Fun times.
