Great place. I use multi-services (massage, esthetician & hair) and the services are excellent. All are skilled, professional yet provide personal interaction & my colorist is beyond wonderful!! If you havent already been to True Salon, you are missing out!

Jessica is the owner and she is AMAZING! I went to her on a recommendation from my daughter because I had gone across the street to get my hair cut short and I left there crying. So, I went to see Jessica and she fixed it for me and did a wonderful job! Since then, not only do my daughter and I still go to her but so does my youngest daughter. She has always done what I ask for and customer service by everyone who works there is so professional.

I go to Jillian Baxter. She is just amazing. I am 61 years old and my hair is gray and thin. She works wonders with my hair. She has chosen a color for me and helps me with products to thicken my hair. Thank you Jill.

Came into the salon to look for new look which Leah greeted me and I was able to get sitted within a few minute. After the hair color and hair cut which Courtney assist on due Leah did got busy which I didnt mind at all and the haircut and hair color was fabulous. I would totally recommend Leah and also she was sweet and easy to talk to. :)

I had no idea they had massage here. Anitas wonderful and they have great massage package deals. But the online services you can schedule are not accurate. ie online they offer a couples massage but they actually dont have that in the salon.

I went to True Salon & Spa for my first time on 1/4/18 and Jillian was absolutely wonderful. I went in to have the poor highlighting that was done by my previous hair dresser. Jillian gave me the most beautiful blonde bayalage color & the cutest cut. She also introduced me to a wonderful much needed conditioning treatment for my new BEAUTIFUL Hair. Thank You Jillian you are Awesome!!!💖💇‍♀️💞

Pros:Had a sugar scrub massage on a heated bed which was connecting to every stressful muscle in my body. My masseuse was attentive and accomendating. So amazing. This massage was a birthday gift from my friend.Cons:I would of fell asleep but the loud salon conversations kept me awake. Its as if they didnt realize massages was taking place just feet away. I think they should consider sound proofing,moving the hairdresser booths away from the massage room or simply keeping it down! I wouldve made a follow-up appointment but they were booked 2 months out.Note: This experience was about a year ago. I am considering coming back,but only on a slow day in the beauty shop for peace and quiet....

By reading Tina experience and the response from the owner,I will not buy their Groupon, let alone use their services.that is a ridiculous policy to stick by but its easy when theyve already been paid. what they dont realize is that they lost many potential customers because of their horrible anti customer service appointment policy.No thanks

I was excited when this salon first opened as it is close to where I live. I have given it several attempts and each time have had a bad experience. Scheduling is a nightmare, it is very difficult to get appointments that arent at least 6 months out - even for a manicure. They have a 24 hr cancellation policy, which is understandable but in the event of illness most places cut you some slack. I had an expensive massage scheduled and developed a fever and flu-like symptoms the morning of the appt. I contacted them as soon as they opened and the massage wasnt until evening. They would not reimburse me for the massage and if I wanted to reschedule I would have to pay for it again. I was out a lot of money because I wias ill. I even asked them if they would like me to come there sick and the woman answering the phone said thats up to you! all about the money and no compassion. I will never again try and go to this salon and I would encourage others to stay away.

My natural hair color is dirty blond and iv been coloring my hair dark brown for awhile now. I started to get fed up with how it would fade to a copperish red tone. So I decided to go to a professional to help me get my hair back to its original color. I went in and saw one professional and told her i wanted to either go lighter or darker just as long as it had NO red in it. so she literally took bleach and plastered my whole head. then put a color over it. It came out completely inconsistent and worst of all RED. I left unhappy so she sold me a silver shampoo. of course it did not work because my hair wasnt blond, it was red. 4 hours $156 later i came out looking like a 12 year old did her hair on her own for the first time. after a few weeks of trying the shampoo i called to fix my hair. They argued with me to have it fixed because it had been so long (but i trusted the shampoo would make some kind of difference). It says a lot that a salon would argue. another professional highlighted it all over to try to fix the inconsistency but it was still red. So she did an all over color. I was happy when i left but two weeks later my hair was red again. I went back and she did an all over color again but this time charged me $70. Its been a week since and my hair is faded and brassy. so in total i wasted $226 and 8 hours of my life. I do not recommend this salon.My mom went to this salon too and had the same woman i had the first time. and all my mom wanted was a root touch up and trim. She left with black roots and dye all over her neck and hands. This artist was very sloppy and carefree, she just needs to go back to school, or find another career. I cant speak on the entire salon because I only had a bad experience with one representative.

Do not support this business! They do not accept their Groupons! I bought a Groupon 2/14/18 with Natoshia with True Salon and called exactly a week later to make my appointment. I was interrogated! It was So crazy! I was asked when did I purchase the Groupon, how much did I pay for the Groupon and then told how Groupon cheated her and didnt pay her all of her money! Can you imagine ? She made a comment that I held on to it! What?! I have 90 days to use it! I am still in shock that I was told she would not accept the Groupon. Now whatever poor business practices Groupon may have you should take that up with Groupon, dont complain to the consumer! If they (Groupon) are so terrible cut ties with them! Run your own sales, try other marketing strategies! Have some business integrity and honor the valid Groupons. You will get a new repeat customer, good press, and referrals which will grow your business! I just checked online to see if she was still offering her Groupon and she is! FALSE advertising! Very unprofessional!

Im so dissapointed! I purchased 2 massages as a wedding gift for my friend and she called me so upset! Not only would they not let her book for 6 months, but as soon as she mentioned Groupon they were SUPER rude and lied about appointments! We all live in Elk Grove and will never try this establishment EVER! and neither will any of our friends! What a horrible experience!

Avoid this place they are a scam!!!! Bought a massage 5 months ago and this march was the earliest appointment. Today show up for the massage and was told it was canceled as they no longer are doing groupon offers. Didnt call to tell me didnt offer a refund or anything. To me if they had an issue with groupon that is not my problem they should have honored the massage. Or offer a refund now I have to go to groupon for my money back? Yes good luck with that!

I can see why this salon is so empty - had an appt at 6:00 pm.. she still wasnt done with her previous appt at 6:25 so I left.. if I had been 25 minutes late I would have had to reschedule.. terrible customer service - will never go back!

Bought massage on groupon. Called to schedule appointment and was told they werent honoring it as too many were sold and to contact Groupon for a refund. Really!!! Great business practice! Wont use their salon/spa at all. Now contacting Groupon for a refund.

Dont go here if you have a Groupon. They separate full paying customers versus Groupon users. I called twice - as soon as I tried making a reservation for an hour massage, the FIRST thing they asked was if I had a Groupon...nice greeting. When I said yes, their next opening was in July (its Feb). I called back, this time pretending to be a non-Groupon customer. And of course, the appointment book became available. Just awful. Bad business. If you cant handle discounted vouchers, dont use them to promote your services.

I was put off by the Salon until 1 hr before my appointment that they set 5 months, 8 days after I purchased and set the appointment. They told me to get in touch with Groupon to get my money back.I will let everyone I know that these people are crooks. Groupon will not give a full refund after 3 days from the purchase.

My sister sent my mom and I Groupons for a 60 minute deep massage with hand and foot sugar wraps for Mothers day 2015, we couldnt get scheduled in for it until August! We got a courtesy reminder call on Saturday the 8th from Taylor, who was very nice but not ONCE did she tell me there was a 24 hour cancellation policy, my mom came down ill and I called first thing Monday morning and said I needed to see about rescheduling, Jessica was the name of the girl I talked to that was very rude and told us we had to either come in or basically the Groupon was void, unless I knew someone who could come in in our place.... (which I did not), I even attempted to post it on Craigslist and other sell sites but had no luck...My mom called back and I believe it was Jessica again and she was even more rude with my mom! My mom asked if there was anyway we could even use the Groupon towards some products or something and she told her, no.We schedule massages to help eliminate stress not cause more! If my mom had not been sick we would have not had to reschedule... wasnt PLANNED to be sick and miss the appointment we have had scheduled since MAY!! VERY DISAPPOINTED!! And HIGHLY embarrassed to have to explain the loss of the amount my sister paid for the nice gift that was MUCH needed!In response to the owners comment...I was very embarrassed to tell my sister about this whole ordeal so she could attempt to contact you all and groupon for the rudeness and all we ALL endured... my sister tried to reach out to the owner NUMEROUS times and it took 3-4 weeks just to get her on the phone!This was the worst experience I have ever had with a groupon or business and I do not ever plan on visiting this location and anyone who asks, I will share my honest review and thoughts with them as I have done so far.

Worst customer service. Bought a groupon and called to make an appt. I sat on phone for 10 min for them to hang up on me. Called back, wasnt able to get an apt for 3 weeks. I said wow 3 weeks, lady on the phone told me to return the groupon. I Told them if I would have known that I wouldnt have gotten the groupon and I thought that waiting 3 weeks was ridiculous. Lady on the phone told me I was ridiculous for thinking I could get in sooner and that her massage therapist were really good and to return groupon. I asked to speak to manager as I dont think it is good to tell a customer that they are ridiculous. Come to find out I was speaking to the manager. I think I dodged a bullet if this is how they treat brand new customers!

Ive had several experiences with this salon. I used groupons for haircuts and facials. My husband even bought a gift certificate for a facial once for my birthday. All the experiences were OK, not great. I decided not to go back to the same stylist for another haircut after she cut my hair shorter than I had asked and took months to grow out again. I did enjoy the first facial, but after the last one in March I felt I was being ripped off. It seemed to be a very limited facial which consisted of washing my face applying a bit of lotion and washing it off. I was disappointed, but I decided to try one more time with a microdermabrasion and express facial. I scheduled the appointment but forgot to mark it in my calendar. It was scheduled for 10:00 today and I called at 12:00 apologizing and asking to reschedule the appointment. I was told that because it was a groupon, I could not reschedule and could not get my money back. They show my Groupon as redeemed, but I wasnt able to use it. I find this highly offensive and will never go to this salon again for any reason.
