9/18 (Saturday) Arrived at SecurCare arond 10:30 am to find out about availability and rates. Door says Office is open at 10:00 but the door was locked. Sat in parking lot and reserved a unit on my phone. Called as soon as I got home to see if I needed to make an appointment to secure a unit and sign paperwork. She said we could do it over the phone. We did. She was delightful. She gave me my unit number, emailed me docs to sign, and emailed a receipt. It said to put a padlock on the unit immediately. Drove back over, went through the gate with the access code she provided and drove up and down every row for 20 minutes. Could not find the unit number she gave me (and that was on the paperwork).9/19 (Sunday) Went back with a friend to see if they could help me find my unit. NOPE! Called the 877 number to ask if they had a map. He was very rude! We have 500 facilities nationwide. We cant have maps of them all. Its there somewhere. Went back a second time, with someone else, to look for it. NOPE!9/20 (Monday) Called and someone answered the phone. After much confusion, I asked if I came over if he could show me. Drove the 30 minutes back over. He barely looked up from his computer, made some excuse about having Training on Saturday, and pointed to a small roll-up door IN THE PARKING LOT, not behind the secure gate. We had actually tried that door on Sunday, but it was locked. He told me I was wrong, that it wasnt locked. It was. So I quickly tossed a padlock on the unit (inside a hallway) and raced back to work.9/22 (Wednesday) Went over with a truckload of boxes to put in storage. Realized that the padlock didnt do anything and that the other units in the hallway had keys. My unit had a hole where that lock would go. Walked over to the office, around 2:15 on a Wednesday. Door was locked. Nobody was home. Called the call center again to ask about the lock. She was confused, but then said I need a cylinder lock and I could get one in the office. I explained AGAIN that nobody was in the office. Searched all hardware stores, and other storage places for a cylinder lock. They didnt have them. Found them on Amazon, but they come in various sizes. Called the call center to find out the size and she didnt know. She found another one of their facilities in my area and transferred me so I could ask what size. SURPRISE! Nobody was there! Called back and was told they would have the Area Manager call me. I then submitted an explaining the situation. Never heard back on either.9/23 (Thursday) Called to find out what size lock I need. She told me to go to the site. I explained the situation and asked if anyone was in the office today. Was told the Area Manager was at that site today. I questioned why, if that was true, my call wasnt answered by them (I had pressed the number to go directly to the facility). She said maybe she was helping someone else. I explained I live 30 minutes away and cant afford to take more time off from work to drive over if nobody was there. She said shed transfer me to that store. I sat on hold for 47 minutes before I hung up. Called AGAIN, he told me hed send a message to the area manager. I explained the Area Manager has not called me and asked who was above the area manager. He said hed talk to his supervisor.Meanwhile, I have wasted SIX DAYS when I could have been moving things into storage. I have to be out of my house in three days. My storage unit is NOT behind the secure gate. According to the guy who could barely give me the time of day on Monday, and who never said a word about the unit needing a special lock, that door to the hallway is always unlocked (so anyone walking down the street can walk on in) and my unit doesnt have a lock. I might as well dump my belongings in their parkling lot for how secure they would be without a lock which NOBODY will tell me what size I need. They keep telling me to buy one in the office THAT IS ALWAYS LOCKED UP!DO NOT RENT STORAGE UNITS FROM THESE PEOPLE!

I was very pleased with the simplicity of the whole process. It was quick informative and seem less. The nice ( blonde lady, forgot her name, Deloris?) at Merritime drive location made sure it went smooth. Thank you.

There is no one ever there to help and customer service could be better

I have two storage units here. It has been good, with a couple of challenges. Sometimes there is no one (a person) at the facility, or perhaps they are walking the premises. But it has made paying my bill challenging more than once, as I have two storage units, and for some reason I only have access to one of them to pay online. This issue is still not resolved. The other issue that Im not very happy about is that the rental rate regularly increases and it has become quite expensive. Other than those issues, the spaces specifically have been fine, and when there is someone in the office (or an assistant on the phone), they have been very kind, helpful, and personable.

No one works at this location. Gate has been broken for about a week.

This is a Great place to get a storage unit. Staff was vert professional and helpful. Kelsey was escecially helpful and courteous . I would highly recommend SecurCare Self Storage. Thanks for your Great Service.

Easy pleasant no hassles. They tell you the fees up front and the units are clean with a clean facility. I have rented here before and will come back again if needed!

Exceptional customer service from Jessie and Earl. Nice clean location.

All i will say is that i advise you to THOROUGHLY READ the contract, late notices, etc.. their late notices conflict with state law. Read carefully. We ended up moving everything out to another storage place due to excessive cost.

Called my facility with a question about billing. They happened to be out at that time so the call was quickly forwarded to your central call center. I spoke with Mary, who was very helpful. I want to thank her and let you know you have someone who genuinely wants to give great customer service. I even got a bit confused as to the street address of our SecurCare facility, but she quickly figured out where I was talking about and was able to take care of my issue rapidly and politely. Great place to rent a self storage. The property manager Robert is very professional and knowledgeable about his business. The facility is very clean and inviting. I would recommend it.

Allyson the manager was super helpful she showed me several different sizes explained how clean and safe the property is assured me this is the place to store at. I will recommend to friends

I bought a bigger house so I no longer neededA storage.Staff was friendly and the units where bigger and cheaper than the other ones I looked at nextdoor. They Evan had electrical outlets close to my unit, worked out very well. Thanks SecurCare for being awesome 👍

A clean easy in or out. Not the biggest but low traffic. I keep a travel trailer at it and never had a problem for over a year. Price is competitive with others.

Reasons you should NOT consider this storage company:1. Feels like Bait and Switch - Beware of Online Teaser Rates.For example, Online Pricing for my size unit shows $220 crossed out with $200 highlighted as the online price. I have been a customer there since before their ownership. My rates are $269.00 which are 135% higher than they advertise.I am a very dissatisfied customer and have provided my 30-day notice because they keep raising the rates with no end in sight. Customer Satisfaction and Customer Loyalty appear to mean nothing to them.2. Feels like Aggressive and Harassing Practices -They make collection calls on the due date of your monthly payment and their online payment system shows you are delinquent on your due date.

Today, I had a very pleasant experience at Extra Space Storage on Franklin Boulevard, Sacramento. Ms. Bridgett A., the assistant manager was very pleasant and professional. I would recommend this facility to anyone who is seeking to store their belongings. Keep up the good work, Bridgett.

M Bernard was extremely nice and professional when my friend initially signed up for the storage and then the second time she was absolutely rude and terrible. I don’t know what her problem is but she changes the contract dates and the policies to fit her wants and needs which negates the initial contract signed and given. If I could, I’d give no stars based on this interaction with her.

My bill is due the 15th, I log on to paybit monthly on the 15th and it says delinquent. I clicked on the contact manager link on the website to contact a manager and it says wrong url, then I try calling and no answer or voicemail, although website says site is open??? I cant find a head office number ro contact anyone. However, my storage rate goes up every 3 to 6 months. No customer service, just charging
