Monroe completed work on my car on a Saturday, and did not contact me at all to inform me it was completed or to discuss my options for the repairs to my exhaust I wanted done. I had to call them a week later to try and figure out what was going on, when they informed me It has been done, but we cant actually do the repair to your exaughst well have to contact Subaru to work on that if youd like. They also have a sign/option for state inspections, but they do not currently have a certified inspector, so they should not be advertising themselves as that.

I ordered an after market exhaust kit for my truck. Monro was willing to get me in the next day to install it with a quote of $125. I knew it would be a little more due to not having the pipe from the Y to the muffler. I received a call from them saying this is the wrong kit, not rear existing and they could make it work but it would be $437 to do the job and it would exit behind the rear tire. I told them to stop, picked my truck up and put the kit together on my garage floor in 5 minutes. The pipes are even labeled with stickers muffler and rear exiting. I also bought the missing pipe for $7.99 at an auto parts store. Either Monro is a huge rip off or completely hire incompetent people. Don’t waist your time or money. I wish I could add the photo of the kit put together in my garage.

Crooks they tried to charge me $500 something for 2 eco tires for my malibu that they didnt even have to mount them becuase i brought them in the back of my jeep. I told them thats a rip off theres no way Im paying that it was $120 a tire 2 tires total but they had all these fees etc, end result I paid $300 I didnt even want to do that I almost on the principle of it told them to take em off and give me what I brought in back but I just wanted to get outta there. Complete scam just go to Mavis there not crooks. I mean monro can say whatever but if there not scaming people how was I able to get the bill knocked down from a little over $500 to $300?

Bright my car for inspection. They are fast. However, there was no communication on what they were doing to keep me safe. The guys were in my car and I have no idea if there was any safety precautions taken. I wiped everything down when I got home. Also, there is no place to go when you are here. I recommend dropping off your car and not waiting in the waiting room, at least during these times.

I appreciate that Monro was able to get me in so quickly. A lot of the other mechanics in the area are booking out weeks for brakes and they were able to get me in the same week. There was confusion on our end with the pricing. We were given three different quotes and ended up paying a different price than the quotes. The invoice was confusing as it looks like we paid for two rotors and only one brake pad, which had we not been in a hurry, I should have asked about before we left.Overall, if you need service in a hurry and arent worried about what you pay, go to Monro. This was our second non-positive experience with them and we can not recommend this business. Looking at the other reviews, we must have just had bad luck with our service here.

Service was excellent! The staff was friendly and generally in a good mood. Went in for new tires and an oil change without an appointment and they got me right in. My only complaint is the cost, but understand that you are paying a premium for convenience. I would recommend, just beware of upsells, they are legitimate, but not always necessary.

While visiting family in PA, we got a flat tire on Christmas Day. AAA couldnt figure out why it went flat, so we popped into Monro the next day to get all the tires checked. They squeezed us in, even though they had a packed schedule, and were very helpful! We were able to get the flat patched up and ready to go for our drive back to Texas! While we waited, we talked with the manager, Juan, and he was a joy to talk to. Time just flew by waiting, which wasnt long to begin with. If we didnt live in Texas, I would be returning and make Monro my forever auto shop.

Great service! They were able to get me in within two days for an inspection and oil change. When I called to check on my car, they didnt mind adding a wiper change since my wiper blades were getting old. Check out was a breeze and the staff were super friendly! I arrived at opening time and Brian came to my assistance immediately. He checked my tire pressures as my low pressure indicator light came on. Who knew front breaks and rotors with a oil change took 3 hours. Sat in the waiting room and chatted with Alex which was the only nice part about my time. I watched the 2 mechanics work on every car but mine when I had a 11am appointment with waiting. I would work on my own vehicle if I had a lift to get my truck off the ground. It takes an hour to do all 4, I only needed fronts done. And 15 minutes for an oil change.

They always get me in scheduled in a reasonable amount of time. Oil changes are extremely quick, which is nice for the times I decide to wait for it. Very friendly and competent staff! Great service!

I went in today to get the oil changed in my car and I had such a wonderful experience with them. I was tight on money and they worked with me to get everything taken care of. I will definitely be going back to them again for anything needed done on my car.

I called about 5 times asking questions about what to do for my tire, Greg answered every one of those calls. Greg put mechanics in a new perspective for me. He said that mechanics are doctors and we wouldn’t argue with the advice of what a medical doctor tells us to do with our bodies and should (essentially, using my wording) be more respectful towards what a mechanic says is the appropriate medicine for our cars.They definitely helped with my tire issues and I would absolutely use their services again! Im an out of town driver. I needed a new tire on a holiday. Not only were they open but they helped me right away. Quoted me a price for new tire, and labor. I was willing to pay anything, all I wanted was to get home! 10 mins later I was handed my keys and Steve told me I was good to go. Im like I need to pay you! He then told me it was just the valve stem, i didnt need a new tire, he fixed it.....no charge!!!The Auto industry needs more people like these guys!!!

Was having problems with my car, took it to Monroe Muffler. The gentleman at the service desk, Greg Sieling was very helpful and knowledgeable. Greg was able to look at my car, had it for a short amount of time , fixed the problem. A grandmother of 5, my car is very important to me so the service was definitely a 5 star.

I shouldnt have such a bad impression of a business after only one 15 minute interaction. However, that is the case with this Monro Muffler.I called and spoke to Greg on the phone to ask about getting a tire fixed. From the first moment he sounded condescending over the phone. I was worried about going in, as I was anticipating more of the same.When going in with a coupon for free flat tire repair, he informed me that it is not free, and would still cost $15. He relied on the small-print phrase some charges may still apply. Regardless of Gregs acceptance of the coupon, my entire interaction with him was very upsetting and I believe he handled the situation poorly and without any customer service skills. He just wasnt pleasant to interact with.I left angry. A customer shouldnt be angry after interacting for only 15 minutes with a business. I suggest putting some one else on the phones/front desk, or increase your employees customer service training.

I have been a customer at Elizabethtown s Monroe Muffler for at least 15 years or more. I have received impeccable service and I have been treated with respect. (You get what you give!) Whenever I have had an emergency repair, the personnel have taken my car in immediately to do a diagnostic, worked hard to search for parts (I usually keep cars for ten years because they are well maintained) and have serviced my car in a timely fashion. I trust them to care for my car, and ultimately, my life. I feel I am in good hands. The only time I have gone elsewhere for service is if I have a warranty that is only honored at dealerships.

Shop tries to scam people into doing business with them! I called and scheduled an appointment for an oil change, I told the guy what kind of car i had. I mentioned that i noticed a black Friday sale on their website for an oil change for 19.99 and asked if that was the total price for me to get an oil change he said 19.99 with tax. I show up to the appointment and now all the sudden they tell me its gonna cost me $50 to get an oil change and that the deal was for conventional oil and my car needed synthetic blend or full synthetic. The thing that upsets me is the guy on the phone who told me the price was going to be $30 less knew what kind of car I had. So either theyre lying about the type of oil I need or the guy on the phone lied just to get me to come in thinking Id pay $50 for an oil change since I was already there. Either way it seems shady and I will never go back there.

Ive been here multiple times. Ive also been to Stop N Go Oil. The only reason why I go to Monro is if they have online coupons (make sure you read the fine print: See store for complete details), and because they usually dont have a long wait time to get an appointment. However I feel overcharged and cheated everytime I visit the place. The manager (Greg) is rude and has the worst customer appreciation and service I have ever seen (I am a Sales Associate and Photographer Supervisor). I highly recommend Stop N Go Oil, even though they have a longer wait to get a shop appointment, they always offer the best prices and true customer service. Do not go here, unless you have an amazing coupon, but remember the details are ultimately up to manager discretion.

Half of the employees here treat their customers with respect, and the other half are horrible with their customer service skills. Ive been dissatisfied more than once going here, and therefore will be finding a new location to get my car serviced. Theyve put the wrong oil in my car before when doing an oil change. They are incapable of putting hubcaps back on the rims after doing a tire rotation - 3 times Ive lost one within an hour of driving out of their parking lot. One time I went in to get an inspection and got told that my brakes and rotors were nearing the end of their life - ok fair enough. I went back in a few months later and they specifically told me that my brakes and rotors looked fine. So - were they trying to sell me on something I didnt need the first time, or did the second tech not know how to check them? This issue leads me to believe that some/all of their technicians have no idea what theyre talking about. Beyond all of these physical problems, when you bring up the issues that youre having with the techs, their answer usually is well thats got to be something you did wrong, what do you want me to do about it?Bottom line - dont let these inexperienced people do work on your car!! They are awful!!

I am furious. If i could give this location a 0 out of 5 stars, I would. About two weeks ago, I went to Monros website (specifically the Elizabethtown, PA location.) I went to the Shop Tires section and chose 4 tires (Kelly Tires) that I wanted to purchase for my 2017 Toyota Corolla XSE. After I chose the tires the website gave me a quote of $458.53 (not including taxes or fees) then directs you to make a reservation to have the tires installed on your computer. I received a confirmation that the reservation was confirmed a few hours later. In the upcoming weeks I received an email stating that if I could not make it to let them know but otherwise reminding me about my reservation for the tire replacement. So that brings me to today. I show up and tell the gentleman at the front that I have a reservation for 10 am to get new tires on my vehicle. One of the first questions he asks me is, did you call us to confirm we have the tires in stock? I told him I made a reservation online weeks ago and chose the tires I wanted. He then told me that the website is not always accurate and it can be deceiving. He said that even though I chose the tires online and made a reservation to have said tires installed, that it doesnt mean they actually have them at their location. He also said even if the tires were ordered and sent to the store, we have no way of knowing theyre for you (even though the website ordered them for me when I made a reservation under my name) and said they could have been sold to a walk in customer instead. This made absolutely no sense to me since I followed what THEIR website told me to do but I held it together while he went and checked to see if they had the tires. He then comes back in and tells me LUCKILY they had them for me. I was happy but then was asked what price I was quoted online. I told him & showed him on their own website, that it shows $458.53/taxes & fees to have it all done. He goes to tell me that the website is inaccurate and says to me oh yeah, thats how they get you. He told me that it was actually going to cost over $750 plus taxes and fees to get everything done (almost double the cost with included taxes and fees from original quote on website.) I asked him how this is and he said that the website shows that theyll do an alignment check after installing the new tires, not an actual alignment. I asked him, so what does that mean? He tells me that after they install them, they literally just look at them to make sure theyre ok and if theyre not & you didnt pay the extra then thats on you. He also told me that they need to replace the TPMS, not just inspect it or reset it like it states on the website. He said these two things (completing an alignment on each tire after install and replacing the TPMS), would bring the cost to almost double what was originally quoted. I then asked him what the cost would be for just the tires installed and an alignment on each and he quoted me over $650 plus taxes and fees. He continued to tell me he was just giving me my options and that the website is inaccurate and misleading so they can get you into the store and essentially requote you the correct price once youve already committed to dropping off the vehicle based on an inaccurate cost given by the website. Him & I went back & forth for a few minutes and he did not seem to care about the situation or be willing to assist me with any type of resolution for the issue. Its one thing to quote me another $50-$100 then the original quote but to requote me almost twice the amount I was originally quoted on their own website is ridiculous. I then called Monros cooperate customer service line, explained the situation and was told by them, that the website IS misleading & inaccurate and there was nothing they could do. The essentially told me I should have known better. The representative couldnt even answer me back when I asked how their website & store communication for tire reservations makes any sense. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY & WOULD TAKE YOUR MONEY/BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!
