First off, If I could give 0 stars, I would. This company and these people will take advantage of you from the beginning. I broke down in the middle of road and by chance the owner (or at least I think he was) just happened to be behind me and asked if I needed help. Of course, I did. He could fix my problem the same day, I was essentially paying for convenience. I leave the shop with a new battery and a new alternator. (Mind you he did NOT test the battery or the alternator). The next day, I break down again and he is there for the rescue. He fixes my car, again. However, when I leave the shop, I notice that I have more sounds coming from my car that I did not hear before. So, I take it somewhere else to get another opinion. Upon inspection, we find fresh weld marks... my catalytic converter is GONE!!! Turns out, I have a separate issue. However, now my car does not want to start again. Battery is tested and its fine. Alternator is tested and its not charging. I was able to find out where he “purchased” the alternator, so I do not have to pay for another one, BUT my car still had the ORIGINAL alternator!!! He scammed me out of the cost of an alternator. So, please, if you want to have your car fixed correctly and want to keep your catalytic converter... DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!! Oh, and don’t even think about getting a receipt or any kind of paperwork!

My family and I were headed home to Cincinnati from Hodgenville on Sunday when our low pressure light came on. It was clear the right back tire was going flat. I tried adding air and even tried fix-a-flat but could not stop the leak. I check with a couple of local tire repair shops--one said they could get to me later that evening, the other, not until the 26th! We decided to head back to my in-laws in Hodgenville when we passed by Kartar Service Shop. I turned around and drove back and asked them if the fixed flats. They did. Unfortunately, however, the damage to the tire was in the sidewall and could not be repaired but they searched their old tires and found the size I needed and for $40 bucks had me back on the road to Cincinnati. I was able to get the tire replaced with a new one on Monday but the old tire they had got me back on the road which was all that mattered at the time. So glad my wife told me, Dont get on the interstate. That insured Id drive right by Kartar Service Shop. The folks at Kartar Service Shop will take care of you on the spot for a fair price!

Awesome place. As soon as we pull up He took the tire off immediately replace it within five minutes and the tire was an awesome shape Looks brand new really. Two thumbs up and cheap
