Called to find out more information about their apartments and book a tour and the leasing officer told me to give him a minute and then left me on hold for 30 mins. I’m a prospective tenant, imagine the treatment current tenants receive.

Amazing views and very convenient location. Property has been taken over by new management and living experience has only gotten better.They are making improvements to the building itself which is great. The new management is so easy to deal with, always get a quick response and they attend to any issues right away. Highly recommend!

When I first moved in the place it was alright it wasn’t that bad . It was simple when I needed a repair in my apartment it happen within a couple of days. Now since the new owners took over the building went to S$&T. All they did is make the front outside look some what presentable. When I put in a work order for my apartment now it’s like pulling teeth trying to get into contact with someone. No one never answer the phone or even in the office . The only people that do answer is the one trying to rent a apartment. Usually the ac in the building is on by may now it’s June and the ac is still off. It’s like 80 plus Degrees in my apartment and supposedly they r trying to fix the ac for the pass month. Trust me do not move here it’s not worth it. Once my lease is up I’m outta here.

If you like quiet this is where you should stay. I have lived her for 2 years and I have enjoyed it. Its very peaceful the neighborhood/ neighbors are all friendly. Very clean and they are doing upgrades to the property. Would recommend someone living here!

The worst rental company (Rushmore management)ever! They are never around to answer your phone calls. They add unnecessary charges to your monthly statement. They never complete work orders. There’s always an issue with the water or the a/c. The building has rodents and roaches. They only exterminate a few apartments because they are cheap. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!! AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!

Our experience was horrible. We were told they would clean the carpet before we moved in. However, when we moved in, we arrived to a carpet that was dirty and was obviously covering a damaged floor.The apartment building also has a severe mouse problem. My wife and I caught at least 15 mice in the one year we were in Westminster, but not before they chewed through one of our couches.The bathrooms and kitchens of some units have no windows. In these units, your air comes through vents, which are dirty and havent been cleaned in ages. I rarely if ever get sick, yet i was dealing with a constant cough and getting sick because of the conditions of this building.I also only got my deposit back because we kept calling, and had to call Pennsylvania headquarters. Then even though they were given advance knowledge of our intentions to move, they would not credit us for leaving the apartment 2 weeks early, when they prorated us for moving in 2 days early. That is a pretty unfair arrangement.I do want to be clear. This review is not referencing the day to day management assistance we received. Teresa, Susanna and the office were always friendly and helpful to us, and the rent includes utilities so that is good. However, that doesnt make up for a run down building which should have been upgraded years ago. I would not advise to move here until they somehow get the time and resources to upgrade the building.

It’s frustrating when you put in a work maintenance request multiple times to what’s suppose to be something that gets fixed or at least in the process of getting fixed. I received an email stating that it has been taken care of. But that’s not the case, when I came home after a day at work happy to finally have it done only to find out that it isn’t. Ceiling is still chipping paint and with bubbles from a leak that has been taken care of from upstairs but not from my side. Sink gets clogged so fast that it becomes a race to just wash a couple of dishes. Don’t say one thing and do another WESTMINSTER PERSONNEL! This is now the second time it has happened to us. Situations are yet to be fixed. Way to leave a great impression of my first apartment Westminster!

I really wish there was a 0 or negative star rating... The absolute worst living experience ever! Its such a shame because the views are amazing but the staff and lack of professionalism makes everything else worthless... The apartment upstairs from mine had some plumbing problem, and flooded my apartment... Water damage on ceilings, walls, floors, etc. It took them 3 months to finally PATCH UP the lumpy floors. Meanwhile, every time my kids came over, I had to pay to stay somewhere else... (Yes, essentially paying 2 rents at once)... after they patched up the floors, a month later, the floors bubbled up again... so AGAIN, I had to pay double rent, until I was unable to pay the rent... they actually took me to an eviction hearing and ended up evicting me... No apologies, no care in the world... I am currently in the process of filing an official lawsuit against them for all damages to me and my kids, and asking the court to remove the eviction judgement from my record...Best of luck if youre reading this and JUST signed your lease... I wish you the best!

Management was horrible - you will NOT get your security deposit back, I can almost guarantee that. Awful. OH. Also, you will never get them on the phone. They just are literal incompetent humans that cant do anything efficiently and its gross. HORRIBLE. Just awful, really awful.

It was the worst customer service experience ever I went to place my order.The kids making the pies told me I have to wait for the manager waited half an hour to 40 minutes.He did not come out the back This place is a dump I’d rather buy from Domino’s and that’s what I just did .I will never buy from here promise that Very frustrating . And my son warned me about buying there and that’s what I got

DO NOT MOVE HERE! I’ve lived here for 2 years and there had more property managers than I can count.1. They DONT return your security deposit. They’ll give you run around and fake timelines of when they’ll “mail it to you” and NEVER follow through. At this point it’s been months since I’ve moved out and I still haven’t received my deposit.2. They DONT REPAIR. Before I moved out my apartment was growing mold in the ceiling for 6 MONTHS!! The floors were buckling because of the constant leaks from the floor above.3. RODENTS! They have rats roach mice. You name it! Notice everyone has a draft stopper? It’s not for draft it’s to try to keep the mixes from coming under the doors and into your apartment.4. Many residents had a meeting in the lobby conplaining about the maintenance issues and threatened to sue the company. However a quicker fix for me was to just move out.

Could not find the zero rating. Nothing here is ever fixed. Most repairs I have done myself because when you put a repair request in management closes request before repair was made. Simple solutions to most of the problems here but owner refuses to pay for any upgrades please do your research on morgan properties before moving into any of their properties. Not sure how they are getting three and four star ratings but will call these places who rate them to find out and invite them to tour this Property . So disappointed because this building is beautiful but neglected. Oh and the car break ins

The air conditioning in this building is the worst. Radiators are falling apart. Elevators constantly break down and always smell like project building elevator. Outside doors are warped and never close. Parking lot stairs are a hazard. Mice and bug problem due to shoddy work from former maintenance crew. This building is like living in the projects. They fixing the outside to make you tgink its a nice building. Its horrible.. Dont move here!!

I lived there for 2 years.Good:1) Contrary to what you may think the North Elizabeth area where the building is located is very safe and no, you cant hear planes from the airport nearby.2) Price is very affordable and there are no utility fees, you are paying rent only.3) The apartments are very spacious, even studios.4) There is a train station nearby (around 10 minutes walk to the station + 35 minutes train and you are at Penn Station).5) Huge plus: there is a Super Stop and Shop supermarket near the station.6) They returned my security deposit with no issues.7) A lot of jew people in the area, they mind they own business and usually have a lot of kids so they contribute a lot to the area safety.8) The man who is taking care of the building is very hardworking, I respect what he is doing. The floors are always clear and all other stuff is taken care of.Bad:1) Central ventilation/heating is old and recent renovation did not help.2) There were workers coming to my apartment dozens of times while I was away without me being notified. They constantly adjusted something in AC system, leaving scratches on the floor and I suspect they scared my cat to the death once (cat is fine now).3) Train schedule is not very good, no express trains stop there.4) Elizabeth central area is not safe. For me it was fine but my wife was afraid to go from the broad street train station alone. There were addicts begging for money or yelling random things and homeless sleeping on benches at the station.5) There is literally nothing to do in the area apart from shopping or fast food.6) Some neighbors sometimes smoked weed at 1-2 am. The management is making effort to stop that but with limited success. But.. I think its common issue.7) The management dont know how to use internet. You have to call or go in person to ask them for maintenance. All online maintenance requests are ignored for weeks or even indefinitely.8) Dont take 1st floor. Most of the one star reviews are from people who were living at the 1st floor and are sick and tired of rats coming from the holes in ACIf you on a budget and working near the Penn Station this may be a good option.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! If I could find the minus 5 rating I would. They will never ever fix anything in your apartments and will lie through their teeth over and over again. Among our issues were: Black mold for 3 months until they finally came to get rid of it (after we called the department of housing and they issued a summons), mice (for a whole year until we left), every single sort of infestation, leaks that would last months at a time without getting repaired. And many many more.

The worst most unprofessional staff I have ever dealt with. I have been in this building for 5 years and the service has progressively gotten worse. In fact, I will have to seek legal counsel for the water damage in my apartment that has yet to be fixed, constant rodents, the danger they put my daughter in during the summer with no air conditioning, adding ILLEGAL charges to my rent, the constant incompetence of the staff. I am at my breaking point with this terrible establishment to the point that their poor and lack of communication my be costing me a roof over my head. This will result in me not renewing my lease agreement with them this year.

It has been 7 month guys and we have not received our deposit back. We moved out in May and have contacted corporate headquarters in PA though phone, email, phone again. Apartment 2G. This is ridiculous. Never again will we rent with Morgan Properties. They just keep lying they sent check though mail.

All the people working in the office are never on the same page in regards to any information they tell you, had several problems regarding paper work,they are disorganized . New owners took over and they seem to care very little about fixing problems you may have . Majority of times the elevators and laundry dont work .

Residency started out with disruptive construction of a number of floors in 1341 North avenue which included no set time table of completion. Every morning random construction guys who spoke no english asking to come into my apartment to work on the radiator system. Banging noises, walls breaking and no set schedule. Management tells tenants via memos slipped underneath the door. Cheap carpet, mold in certain areas of apartment, old radiator system and cabinets and appliances. I submitted work order when I first moved in for holes underneath kitchen sink to be covered with ply wood as it appeared rodents were coming from there (Thank God I never saw any rodents, could be because I taped the cabinets shut) at the time I broke my lease 17 months later, it had yet to be even done, SMH.My next door neighbor (the only neighbor I found friendly) told me she had water leak issues which I seen with my own eyes and she often had to call building inspectors of Elizabeth to get resolved, also she complained of rodents including MICE. I did see a few roaches during my tenancy but I kept those crawlers away by keeping place clean and having exterminators come every month. Fire Alarm system going off all times of the morning. Normal routine was at 3 am Fire trucks in front of the building and mgmt has no answers claim the fire system is old needs to be updated.Residents are nasty for the most part including dumping trash anywhere and everywhere but in assigned trash areas. One time I saw trash in the main lobby floor just scattered everywhere, some nasty pigs live at Westminster. Most are not very friendly at all or even speak to you. I often saw pet poop and pee from residents who had dogs in the hallways and stairwells. Management does nothing about it.Carpet in East bldg 1341 needs to be torn up and destroyed has nasty smell putrid. They try to cover nasty odor and mask with cleaning products but most days and nights the stench is unbearable. Shows cheap investment by property owners. Leak in my apartment from March 2017, took maintenance four months to come patch up and they never came back to fix and or plaster/paint over the ceiling, (see pictures). This place is the true meaning of a HOT ghetto MESS and disorganized, revolving door of maintenance team and supervisors, 3x different Maintenance teams in 17 months as well as 4 different Head Leasing Agents. They need to bring Susanna back. Smell of drug use everywhere in hallways and stairwells, light an inscent for godsake. They need to update EVERYTHING.They take better care of the 801 building and treat the sister building 1341 like an abandoned stepchild.New Leasing Agent Marina is very nasty and unwilling to resolve former resident issues. The fact remains as of today I have yet to be given my Deposit back, despite being told by the Leasing Manager Teresa Hanna that my deposit would be credited back to me. They are now spinning and giving me B.S. excuses as to why my deposit will not be returned, VERY DISAPPOINTED. As a Hard working Tax paying citizen who paid their rent on time and or early every month of my tenancy I take being lied and cheated to very seriously. Just for FYI, I broke my lease early due to work relocation (THANK GOD) and have since moved into a much more organized and resident focused complex in another state. I paid the leasing cancellation fee (Which is 2 months rent) and I paid my remaining balance in rent and parking fees. I also spent over $500 to repaint the apartment back to its leased color and was told by the same new nasty leasing agent Marina that Im being charged to paint the apartment back, HORRIBLE. Its okay, I have pictures and video of how I left the apartment and neighbors to corroborate that I returned all necessary items. I will be contacting my Lawyer right away! If you havent figured it out by now.........DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!

This is the worst apartment I have ever lived in the staff is terrible.The washer and dryer is continuously broken.They have a SEVERE SEVERE RAT 🐀 PROBLEM I HAD TO CALL THE CITY MULTIPLE TIMES.I had mice jumping out of my stove while I was cooking and when I got a cat they tried to charge me.Everything in the apartment is old no new appliances.My toilet leaked and my bath tub what always stopped up.The piping on this building is old and need to be done over.When I tried to move they tried to charge me for braking the least how am I supposed to keep living in these conditions.Please DON NOT MOVE HERE PLEASE IT WAS HELL FOR ME!!
