I called ahead of time to ask if I could get some regular latex balloons inflated and they said to just come in the store. Once I got there I waited in line for my turn with the balloons in my hand, once it was my turn the girl didn’t even acknowledge me till I said hello and then told me it’s gonna be 30 minutes until they can inflate my balloons which would have taken 5 minutes tops. It’s was just bad service and a waste of time, we left after that with no balloons for my little sisters party.

Decent prices they get you with the ballons the big balloons. The prices though! Steep

I keep forgetting about Party City, but they have everything you need to celebrate. If youre thinking about celebrating anything or any kind of event you should stop in here for ideas. I always leaving with more than I came in for, in a good way, and people are always like, that was great how did you come up with that? The truth is that I didnt Party City just had it during there, I walked by it and in the end I want the only one that thought it was a great idea. Ive been making a splash at office parties, kids birthday parties, these parades that seem to be the new norm, house warming, and just some other small get togethers.

Set up an online order for some balloons to pickup via curbside pickup. I received a text message and email confirming that my balloons were ready. After calling the store to inform them I was there, in their curbside pickup spot, I was told that someone would run the balloons out. I sat there for 10 minutes. Eventually I decided to just run in and they had no idea who I was or what I was there for. I had to go through the whole process with them again (name, order number, type of merchandise) and they couldnt locate my order. I eventually spotted it and said, its right there! No apologies, no nothing... Balloons were inflated though so... 2/5

Considering the current state of events in our country and the current climate of hate you I would think that a Party City employee would be more mindful about how they behave in the parking lot after a car accident in front of their place of business. I personally will probably never shop here again

Love the Party City store in Elgin!!! They have everything for parties, weddings, gatherings... friendly and knowledgeable staff. I was amazed at the variety in every color and so many styles. Used an online 25% coupon that staff suggested. I am very happy with my purchases!

I bought a costume from there And they said I had till the day before Halloween to return it. So I go a week before Halloween just to get told that I cant return it. That got me beyond mad. Train your people to know the info. Why lie to people. Never ever shopping with party City again and I will let my family and friends know about this. Then they tell you things with an attitude.

I came in early Saturday morning right when they opened the manager looked like she was in a bad mood no greeting, and the cashier was like rushing us while we were deciding what balloon we wanted . Poor service

This store is the worst. I placed an order online for in-store pick-up. I have photos in my review that show I placed the ordered Friday evening. Without any reason, they cancelled my order Saturday morning next day. I tried to call, the phone number was busy. I go to the store anyway to inquire, and notice that there are about two other customers there. Clearly they were NOT busy enough to not answer the phone. I found the item I wanted on the rack so obviously they did not cancel my order due to unavailability.Just out of curiosity, I called the store while INSIDE the store, someone finally picked up, I inquired about my order, they put me on hold for several minutes at which point I just gave up and hung up. I proceeded to purchase my item because I did not have time to find another place to shop for the same item. However, they have likely lost my business due to their lack of customer service.

Staff are really nice. helpful and friendly with me and my toddlers. Nice party store, they do run out of few items, it shows how popular that store is! You can get more varieties online. The customers there are nice too!

This specific Party City is amazing! I ordered balloons for my best friends baby shower online, but for store pickup. The manager, who I believe is Adriana, was so wonderful. We may have played phone tag for a little, but she was great at figuring out my order. She definitely made my experience of ordering from here the first time terrific and I wouldnt have it any other way. Any adjustments you need done to or questions you have can be taken care of. Go here!

Daughter needed to dress up for a report, and Party City had everything we needed on order for her to look the part and get a good grade. Love this store not only for party needs or Halloween.

Wow. Very disappointing. Spent $80 on balloons for a wedding and half of them popped within the first hour. Talked to the manager who said that is normal in the sun. Why would we waste money and time transporting a large amount of balloons if that was the expected result? I think we could have gone with different decorations. We were even talked into the upgraded hi float. So, dont expect advice here... they are just looking for a sale. Buyer beware!

Seriously if I could give them NEGATIVE 5 STARS I would the employees attitudes are ridiculous they dont want to help you look for what you need the cashier treats you horrible you ask a question and its a mouthful of attitude I cant believe they employ people like this its supposed to be a party place and the attitude in here makes you wanna run away. I was on the road and in the vicinity so I called to ask if my balloon order can be ready for pick up sooner. I was told yes so I stopped by an hour later only to be turned away.

Found Halloween items for wreath making

Employees here didnt help me at all. There was 2 items I was looking for and the girl was clueless about where to find them, I showed her on the website it said they had plenty available and she says they were out. The manager came and had no idea what he was doing either, I was there about 15 minutes waiting til he finally came with one of the items. When I checked out I waited another 10 min in line with just 2 people in front of me. The girl who helped me, checked me out and didnt even say thank you, SHE got an attitude because she couldnt help ME with what I needed. The nerve!!

Nice place to find costumes and decor for any occasion. Certain items are priced high and are not competitively priced.

Every character, color and size of party ware is found here. I started with watermelons, but when a family party theme changed to unicorns, Party City was ready to help with a speedy exchange.

Get your balloons blown up ANYWHERE else. They really nickel and dime you with the helium. They didnt tell me until after they ran my card that it was a 2 hour wait. Its good thing we got them JUST before the party, though, because the balloons start to sink after a few hours. Do they cut their helium or something?!

The service was not the greatest. When it was time to check out I had to go find someone twice to tell them I needed to check out, I was not happy. The worst part was when I was walking up to the counter an associate saw .e heading in that direction and didnt stop to ask if I was ready to check out. If youre not a people person you shouldnt be in the service industry. If youre going to be in an industry of service then you need to service the ones who provide a portion of your paycheck. Poor service I do not plan to go back.

Helpful, pleasant staff. Reservations by phone were a little difficult, kept getting put on hold and transferred, and getting different price quotes for the same items in question. Once I was with the final employee, though, she got everything straightened out. Items were exactly as I hoped.

Everything I needed for a birthday party.

I have ordered things online to be picked up a few times now and every time it seems like the staff has no idea whats going on or how to process the order. First, I put in my credit card info online thinking it was paid for, but you actually have to pay in-store. Okay, not really their fault, but seems pretty counterproductive to the point of ordering online. Second, I ordered things for New Years (again, online) and they almost gave me someone elses order, then they only gave me 2 of the 4 balloons for 2018... good thing I noticed, and finally when I didnt use some things after all and tried to return it, they said they couldnt because its seasonal (none of the items actually said 2018 on them, just fyi, and it never said I couldnt return them when I ordered online). Ugh, they did give me store credit, but again failed to tell me I could only use it at that location?!Bottom line, be prepared to spend extra time, check your orders if you use the online feature, and ask if you can return if youre not sure youll use everything.

They are going shopping to Piggly Wiggly grocery store and she would buy all things of dept and free coupons.
