Theyre polite and understanding. They explain how the rentals work and how much it costs. The cars are clean and they have gas in them.

I needed a vehicle a couple days early and they helped me get what I needed. I also stopped while I was in Montana to an enterprise location in Butte and they were happy to resolve a problem with the vehicle.

I havent had any issues when renting a vehicle from enterprise, theyve always been professional and very reliable. This would be a place I would continue to use for my car rental needs. Hertz way to expensive ridiculous.

They got me a car in 5 minutes. Great rental, and fairly priced. Plus, I had it for an extra day, at the same rate, with just a call.

Just rented a large SUV from this place. First off, it was filthy inside and out. Had less than a quarter tank of gas in it. When I drove it less than an hour, the oil change and filter light come on. Following the next day the key fob batteries are dead. Can’t start the car. I informed the salesman that I am driving out of state on two occasions and asked to be sure that it was up to date with maintenance. Apparently it’s not and I leave tomorrow for out of state. Not happy whatsoever! I will never be renting a vehicle from enterprise again. Extremely disappointed!

All employees at the Elgin location are so pleasant and helpful especially Austin he is always looking to assist in any and every way possible and has great customer service and is very patient too. I would recommend coming to the Elgin location on Chicago st they are great and friendly too 😊

I prepaid for the tolls while using a rental car. I did not use my ipass. When I paid I got a general receipt. I then started to receive notices for violation. IL toll informed me that they could not give me an itemized receipt for the tolls, just a general one. Even the one I requested in the mail in general. They said that enterprise would have to call. Enterprise said “nope we’re not calling”. Now they want me to pay for tolls I already paid for, because I’m supposed to do their job. Needless to say I don’t work there.

Staff has been very friendly every time Ive gone. The vehicles that were given to me were clean and in great condition. However they did have several scratches that I had to make sure it was noted down as the person helping me did not notice. Also, although the process was quick, the fees were not explained thoroughly and they were mostly focused on me signing the agreement and going on my way.

Excellent service by very competent and courteous staff is what I experienced. The vehicle was immaculate and in excellent condition.

I was really impressed with these guys. I was offered a car rental through my auto shop andI had no idea how a car rental worked and enterprise worked with them for a seamless transition. Picked me up, explained how the car worked, was very thorough. They even picked up my car from the auto shop when I was done.

I rented a vehicle from this branch while our main family car was getting a few days of extended service. I had to wait a few minutes with the number of vehicles being rented at the start of the day, but got a small SUV for my booked standard car price. Easily extended the rental with a phone call to the branch. No issues on return, and they fully honored the original rate. Very pleased with the rental experience.

Rented --- and it worked out fine

I went to the Chicago st location in Elgin and there were times when I called and was on hold for 15 minutes just to to talk with someone. The deposit amount depends on who you talk to as it varies person to person. I had my rental for a several weeks and they charged my card without informing me saying they needed more of a deposit A heads up wouldve been nice as I was missing $200 from my account and didnt know why. They did this twice but second time it didnt process which Im glad because it wouldve caused bank fees. This is not right!! Also, I ended up owing more money again third time because the previous clerk FORGOT to add tax. The manager Joe was rude when I talked to him and very sarcastic. There are many other places to go...find a more professional place that knows what they are doing and has consistent policy, pricing and training with all transactions and knows how to treat people!!!

I have been renting cars for a couple years now and I have met all types of people in different branches but no one compares to the branch manager Joe. His customer service is 100% satisfying.I can count on him to make sure Im happy with ever resurvation. If there is as pacific car I prefer he will go out of his way to help locate a vehicle for me. He is dependable and extremely helpful. I wish his branch had more option of full size or premium cars. Overall I really enjoy my experience at this location and hope to contour renting with joe and his staff for many more years.

Enterprise gave me the very best service & I was so pleased with how easy it was to change locations to pick up the car in Elgin, IL instead of Chicago, and then it was just a breeze to turn it back in at Knoxville. I got an upgrade when the car of choice wasnt in Elgin & the man there made it so simple to fill out the paperwork, check the car over, tell me all I needed to know, & got us quickly on our way. Returning the car was even simpler. I drove it into the airport car returns, got out while they looked the car over & was immediately handed my receipt. Loved dealing with Enterprise.

Looks like a new management at this location. The manager was totally unhelpful. Would not recommend this location as long as this management is here.

I had a car rental car rented for me from the dealership the service was nice at first ,they did not have a car for me but they had a large truck , I seen a small car in the lot ,I took the car that was damage the persons said I could bring it back for a mid size car, long story short it was not true what they said ,I did return to change the car,well it never took place hope I never have to go there again even if the dealership pay for it

Very rude. We had a reservation for a car at one price over the phone. When we went to pick it up. Another car with a more expensive price. Thin he mad it seem like it was our fault. Don’t ever call asking questions when going thru a third party site. Thin to make it even worst we are leaving out for our daughters gymnastics regionals championship an he tells us he not going to rent to us so we can leave. Now I’m pissed an this is bs. But thin I thought about it. I’m Black in America. But know what budget took care of me gave me a better car an charged me $30 less. So shove it enterprise budget is where it’s at.

Bad customer service from Mgr Joe- gave us a bigger car as he did not have smaller car and told us it will be fully covered - it was an insurance claim billing situation. Upon return proceeded to charge me taxes vs directly billing the insurance- would not listen and kept on insisting that I had to pay the difference. Overall a bad experience

Great customer service and a great car at a reasonable price.

People working were courteous, however the car selection is small. The Sonata that was given to me, smelled like vomit and had stains on the seat and headliner. I had to drive a total of six hours in a vehicle that smelled like puke.

Sometimes, just for a new experience, I think about trying another rent-a-car company, but then I think about the excellent service that Ive always received from Enterprise Rent-A-Car and get over that thought and rent from Enterprise.

What a rip off. I need the vehicle for 8 hours. Its a van. Because THEY are not open I have to pay 369 dollars for 8 hours. I have to pick it up Saturday to return Monday. I dont need it for 72 hours. They are so inconvieniant. Dont most people travel on the weekends? RIP OFF!!

CUSTOMERS BEWARE!!! I wonder what the requirements are for good customer service. I made a reservation for a wknd wedding 3wks ago . The entire ordeal was very poor customer service all around. For starters the manager in formed me that although I made a reservation it didnt matter bcuz they gave my car away. Oh yeah he found a replacement 2 towns over and said I would have to pick it up but that I would get a crossover SUV for my inconvenience. Only to drive out of the way and be given a smaller car. Now Im forced to leave later and alter my travel by 3hrs. After driving 5hrs and almost to my destination the front tire blows out in the hghwy. Enterprise roadside left us in the side of the hghwy for hours and there towsvc never showed. If it wasnt for traveling family members WHO CHANGED THE FLAT AND GOT IS OFF THE HIGHWAY, we wouldve been left on the side of the highway.After talking to rd SVC I was informed that I had to take the car to the airport if I wanted to exchange it. Again the company that picks you up couldnt pick us up.... unless I was ok with waiting 5-6 hrs for a car to be delivered. We missed the wedding that we went out of town for. Then to add insult to injury I explain this to the branch manager after waiting for him to come to the office. I am middle age with a disability. (Cane clearly visible) The manager then told me sometimes things happen but if I wanted to I could take the car back 2 towns over to St. Charles and see if they would do something about it. I then asked him if he was serious and said I would be contacting the corporate office instead and he told me to go right ahead. I now see why he didnt care. Ive talked to the corporate office 4 times all calls made on my dime and not once did anyone Rtn my call or apologize for the horrible road trip. Customers Beware...... I wonder who you have to be to get the customer service they claim to have?? EIGHT PHONE CALLS TO CORPORATE OFFICE ALL EITH PROMISES OF CALL BACKS FROM REGIONAL OFFICE AND STILL NO RESPONSE!

Always easy to rent here. Staff is pleasant but I do not like their tactics of using the word waiver when you are actually signing up for additional charges instead of waiving the option of those charges.

Horrible customer service, false advertising. They do not pick you up, charge a $250.00 deposit over and above offering additional charges for protection. Rented a car on Tuesday at 5PM returned today, Friday, 11AM and they charged FULL DAYS for both Tuesday and Friday.
