Was able to schedule an appt in 15 min. even though they were busy with other cars. Received complimentary oil change and tire rotation , despite I missed Hyundai window. I couldnt ask for more. Great service.

Not usually the norm - but apparently backed up today. I had a scheduled appt for 9:15 am. this morn. Its now 10:50 am and just now handed my keys to leave. Asterisk with the 45 mins or less service. Got it, understand it. Once again - not my usual experience, but if you were already behind; just tell your customers.

I had talked with a service man named Jim on Tuesday. I said I had a 2006 Hyundai sonata with headlights that needed to be adjusted. He said to bring the car in on Wednesday. I got to the dealership around 2:45 and asked for Jim. They had to call him. He came up and I told him I had called the day before about my headlights. He said he remembers and said he would look at them. While looking at the car he found out that I also had a high beam that was out. I asked if he could replace it and he said yes.He asked me to wait in the very comfortable waiting room. I was there for 20 minutes when Jim came in and said they didnt have the high beam light for my car. And had to have sent to them. And that was why I was waiting. He said he adjusted the headlights and was just waiting for the new light to come over. About 20 minutes later Jim came in and said he put the new lamp in but it didnt work. So there was a wiring problem. He said he knew I was already there longer then I should have been. And said he would look at it now if I wanted or I could come back. I thanked him for taking the time to explain what was taking so long and for giving me the opportunity to make a decision that would be best for me and my time management. Jim didnt know that my 97 year old Father just had brain surgery 13 days ago and that visiting hours were from 4 to 7And by giving me the opportunity to stay or come back later meant that I was able to spend every minute of the precious 3 hours we are given to visit my father.Jim is a true professional !!He was aware of me waiting and explained why. He tried to fix what he could. And he allowed me to make the decision to stay or reschedule.This is what true professional customer service looks like !!He actually cared about the customer!5 Stars to Jim and the Elgin Hyundai dealership on Chicago Ave. In ElginThank you !!Earl

Had service done with 130 point inspection, came home and had 2 oil leaks took vehicle back to dealer to see why after my oil change U had 2 oil leaks. They told me I had and oil pan leak and a time chain cover leak , How did they not identify these leaks in the 130 point inspection they performed initially, obviously there is something not right but now to fix these issues its going to be $1,100. ?????

I went to Elgin Hyundai on Thursday 04/08/2021 to trade my vehicle in for a bigger one. We worked with Tabitha over the phone before we got there, our car sales man was Dan, and the finance manger was Victoria. Tabitha, Dan, and Victoria were absolutely phenomenal. Dan made us feel very comfortable the entire time, 10/10 would recommend anyone to go see Dan.Micheal Meija the manager is the only issue we had. Michael was very impatient and rude. He got very aggressive when requesting to run my credit even though I already had a pre approved loan through my bank. He kept demanding that he has to run my credit. After running my credit he said my personal credit score very loudly in front of multiple other customers. I contacted a lawyer due to the issues we had with Micheal and blurting out my credit score to everyone in the building. I called and requested to speak to someone higher than Micheal. I am currently waiting to hear back from corporate. I hope corporate can resolve the issue.Tabitha, Dan, & Victoria were very professional and kind. Don’t let one bad apple (Micheal) ruin customers experiences with this car dealership.Thank you,Elizabeth Mayes.
