Went to get a 02 sensor installed twice and on both occasions they said they fix it but my check engine light wouldnt come off so I took it to another shop and turns out all they did was take the head units off and wired it directly to the car!! 720$ gone with the wind. Thankfully the shop were there working on it now says it should be done in a day or two. Would not recommend!!

Im sorry but I had to put a star but this location doesnt need any stars I suggest you to think two times before you go here I have my truck here for almost 3 months and he only saying every time i go is he doesnt have money to fix it which I pay almost $4,000 for it to get it fixed and i came to fix my entire mortar he did change it but but not the right way and bring it back to him he check it n waz asking for more money ...which i pay the guaranteed for the job he did... Now more money...he should pay for my trouble ...now Iam i need to pay uber to take to work which iam spending more money that I shouldnt have to.. So check were you take your fix... think two time..

I own a meal prep company. I had over 400 meals to deliver and distribute to other delivery drivers, when all of a sudden, my tire blew. I panicked. I contacted Broadway Auto and spoke with Luis. Already stressing over what I was going to do, he assured me over the phone that whatever needed to be done, they will do the best they can to take care of my car.We were in and out in less than 40 min.New tire, installed in a timely fashion, friendly staff, and excellent customer service. Will be coming back to do business here again.

Honestly I’m never one to give a bad review but my experience was just the worst. Me being pregnant I spoke to an employee that sells cars. Not going to say who. I explained to him that I was pregnant and needed a reliable car to get to and from work. The man gave me his was I thought was honest word and told me he had a perfect car for me. A 2001 Mitsubishi Montero. The car was very nice looking until I drove it for a longer period of time and it started to shake. Then one day I went to start the truck so I can go to work and it didn’t turn on at all. That being said the truck was towed back to the repair shop so it could be fixed. I was told it was good to go and that I could come in and get it. The next day when I leave for work I see the truck has a huge puddle of oil leaking from it so ignored the problem saying I’ll take it back Monday and see what they tell me. Since it was just repaired !!! And I was told everything was fixed and It was good to go. Later on that day I leave from work and as I’m driving the car starts to make a terrible noise five minutes in to driving. Luckily my mother lived in the neighborhood so I drove it to her so her and my step father could witness and record what was going on. When I pulled up my step dad had recorded my wheel about to fall off hanging on by an inch. He tells me to stop the car and he checks the tire to see that the auto shop didn’t properly tighten the bolts and every single one of them on the back left tire were lose. Mind you I’m pregnant and live a good 35-40 minutes from Elgin where I work. I honestly think this shop is not genuine or honest and can care less about your safety. Especially being the fact that I explained to him I was pregnant and my child would be in this truck.

I bought a 2002 Honda Civic from this location from Chris Lewis who is/was the owner/manager. I later found out I was a victim of odometer fraud. Purchased the car with ~120K miles when it actually had almost ~190K miles. The CARFAX reports showed that the mileage was reported correctly up to the point of sale from this location. The car was an absolute lemon. Its on me for making the mistake to purchase the car but someone here definitely messed with the odometer. Luckily the owner bought it back from me minus title/registration fees after I ate over $1200 in repair costs. I learned a lot from this experience but will never step foot here again.UPDATE - Response to Owner: I understand that Broadway Auto Body & Paint is at a separate location with a slightly different name. However this is the address and exact location I went to when purchasing the car. It was parked in the small lot around back. I have attached his business card. Broadway Auto Sales is listed on Google maps at this same location and another review there mentions this person by name.

I always go her for any work on my car. Prices are fair and they are very honest and look out for your best solution. When I had my 2012 vw gti I had a software problem and an intake problem which I had no idea they were recalls. When Luis called me after checking the car and explained the issue he informed me that he called the dealership and it was a recall the dealer would fix for free. He told me that the dealer would check to make sure and if they found the same issues they would fix it for free. Any other place wouldn’t have told me to go to the dealer. Luis literally said “we can definitely fix it for you but if the dealer does it for free that would save you a lot of money and trouble because they will also give you a loaner.” All of the other places would have just taken my money. I was impressed that Luis went as far as to lose money because recalls are done for free through the dealer. I was never notified about these recalls from the dealer. For this one simple and honest act he did I will always go to him and recommend family friends to Broadway. Thank you for taking care of me!

I was told that Broadway does good work from a person who knows the area so my family and I went there spent 600 bucks we attempted to make it home back to Madison,Wi but only made it 18miles away I took my van back to Broadway because the same thing was happening he looked it said it was his fault bad part then charged.e 80 for part free labor he say This time I made it to Rockford before van started over heating again Make a long story short I had to get van towed to Madison WI and now its in my driveway with the same problems it was having when I first gave it to Broadway My family and I are without a van because of them and they can care less

I dont know how anyone can rate this shop at 5 stars...I came in to have my engine inspected. I paid 80$ to have it inspected and hours later they call back to tell me that my spark plug wires are backwards. This is an extremely easy fix that i could do myself in about 5 minutes. They wanted to charge me 120$!!! So i took back my car. They have always done this to me in the 3 times i have dealt with them there is always an excuse. They will overcharge you and they will exxagerate the issues. This is not an honest shop they are just vultures looking for a victim. I highly do not recommend this shop. You are going to end up spending so much more than you anticipated.

They changed a tire for me once on a saturday and i could not velice how full they where of people yet they were still able to keep everything stable and got my tire change done in less than 15 min. Amazing Sevice.

Took my car for balancing and alignment these guys left the wheel bolts loosen if I didnt check then at home I would of had an accident I called this place to tell them about it and it said they didnt care and it wasnt their problem worst place bad customer service.

They stole my plate number and are not giving it back because I negotiated on the price. DONT GET YOUR CAR REPAIR HERE.
