Great response to a water cleanup issue. The team jumped in right away and worked hard to mitigate the damage. The onsite manager was very professional and kept us informed every step of the way. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Beware!!!! SERVEPRO came to our home to give us a quote on mold that is up in our attic caused from can lights in our master bath and from the bathroom fan not being being properly vented. They said that they could remediate the mold for $3,200. We thought that was really pricey for what they said would be the remedy but they said that they would be able to get all the wood so clean that it would look brand new. They said they would spray the areas and then scrub with a bleach solution. Day one, two guys came out and went up into the attic for approx. 45 minutes and said that we would need to open some windows as the bleach smell might be overwhelming and left. They said that they would need to come back the next day to finish up. I didnt have to open any windows since I couldnt smell any bleach at all. When my husband got home, he went up into the attic to check on their progress. Literally NOTHING had been done on day 1. We called them the next morning and told them to not come back. Im so glad that we are able bodied and my husband was able to go up into the attic and see for himself and Im so glad that we werent scammed out of $3,200!! DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY. Frustrating that you still have to rate 1 star to finish the review.

This is a full service company. I had done half the work myself out of curiosity when we discovered a water leak behind one of the walls that had been occurring for years. Luckily the mold was on the drywall and insulation. They came in, double checked my work, evaluated the cause of the leak, and once that was taken care of they sealed the ceiling+wall back up like the whole ordeal never happened. They were very friendly, knowledgeable and cost way less than we had anticipated.If we have an issue in the future theyre at the top of our list.

We had a few leaks that occurred during the winter. One of the leaks was hidden behind a closet and it turned into mold.We did not expect to see mold behind the closet and it was quite a bit.Needless to say we panic but Servpro came out within one hour, the same day on a Friday.We were very impressed by their quick action in trying to help us with this mess.The crew that came out was very professional and worked really well together.They managed to clean up everything and we were able to stay in our house.If we could give more stars we would.Thank you so much for helping us and coming out right away.We would definitely recommend Servpro to anyone

At first they were great they came out cut out a hole in the wall in my bedroom gave them a check they cashed it and then couldn’t get a estimate for my house and was left with a hole in my wall with the insulation exposed for 2 months. Thanks Servpro for not to serving anything. I even gave them a chance to the redeem themselves and they couldn’t So I’m very dissatisfied.

I can’t says enough appreciation for the crew that came quickly to take care of the water that made a terrible mess. I’m so grateful for these people

I felt very comfortable with the technicians coming into my home. Originally I had Ethan and another gentleman out I cant remember his name and they were great! They told me what was going to happen before it was going to happen, which I loved! Then Kurt and Ethan came back out to check everything and remove the equipment and just like before they did what I expected. I will not hesitate to recommend this company!

My building had water damage and the HOA selected the Elgin, IL location on behalf of the owners. Val contacted me stating they would be coming to repair the property “tomorrow” but this call was ongoing as tomorrow was another call stating it was the next day when they would arrive. This went on for about two weeks causing me to keep changing my personal schedule regarding work and other personal appointments.Once the work began and having new carpet in the property, I stated to the workers that plastic or something should be put down as to protect the flooring. They did this for one day but removed it at the end of the day and never protected the floors again so as you can imagine, they not only dirtied the carpet, they got primer on it.After they worked on maybe day 6, after they left I used the facilities and noticed that the bathroom door no longer closed; it hit the jam and needed to be forcefully shut as well as there was primer on the carpet and the mold that formed on the ceiling from the damage was just primed over. When contacting the manager Patrick the next day, his responses were extremely unprofessional and ignorant.When needing work completed on your home, this is one company/location I would stay far away from. Seems like once you give this company/location your business, they could care less about customer service. The manager Patrick clearly doesn’t know what he’s doing and you’ve been warned.

Charge $150 just to give an estimate in the work required and will return that to me only if I use them. Found four other companies who would give me a free quote. I understand charging a few but $150 is really steep.

We had an incidents at our home I called this place right away from the moment that they picked up the phone to the moment they came to my house was an amazing experience. They got me scheduled right away they told me what time the gentleman would be coming to the house once the gentleman came they explained the whole process to me. Communication was great and all my questions were answered. Everyone I dealt with on the phone and in person was polite and informative. The work was done well, and I had contact details if anything else was needed. Ive worked with other restoration companies in the past that were unorganized which made for a lot of frustration. I would absolutely use Servpro again!

All those involved with the project were thorough, efficient, and professional. Each contractor answered any questions and addressed any concerns I had. George from SERVPRO provided awesome service. We were impacted by Hurricane Florence here in North Carolina. George traveled here to assist the clean up effort. He was friendly, explained the process in great detail, and responded quickly to all emails, texts, and phone calls. ServPro was sent to me via my insurance company when i came home from vacation and it was raining. In side my house. George was so comforting to speak to, Patrick was there 2 hours later, on a Saturday night, came back Sunday, and was there for a week before the house was dried out. Stayed in constant contact with me about status, and even sent pictures of demo. Yes, I would highly recommend this company to anyone for their needs.

George and Patrick and team are simply the best!! I will be forever grateful to Servpro. The roof to my moms home blew off during hurricane Florence (in Wilmington, NC). Water came in from the rain. It rained about four days straight. Her home was inundated with water. Then mold and mildew began to take over the entire house. After numerous calls to other companies without any success my last hope was Servpro. I didnt expect an answer. The operator said she would have someone call me within a day or two. Sure enough I get a call from Servpro. I explained what happened and she said she would have someone get back to me. Shortly after that I got a call from George. The process began. He was very compassionate and professional. And said that he would get by the property the next day. Sure enough he did, he assessed the property and said he would get back to me with an estimate. Based on the amount of work that had to be done I was really concerned about the cost. He e-mailed me a full breakdown of the work and the cost. It seemed very reasonable for the amount of work involved. He then told me when they could get started. We were ecstatic!By my living in Durham, NC (my mom now living with me) I had to rely on them to keep me to keep me abreast of everything. They did!!They always answered my phone calls and text messages. We were so pleased to have them do the work. Without them I dont know what we would have done.The house was completely cleaned out and stripped to studs. It was major major job. They handled it as if it was a small job. The house was sprayed to remove the mold and mildew and dried thoroughly.Upon visiting the property we were amazed to see the home stripped down to the studs. We finally met Patrick in person. He said we now have a face to the voice.He better explained all the work that was done. Job completed on time as estimated. We will be forever grateful to both George and Patrick of Servpro for getting us started in the rebuild of of my moms home.Take it from me they are truly truly the best. I highly recommend them!
