These guys are so helpful! Their prices are good, and they even helped me out recently when a warning light came up on my car. I just drove up and asked for advice, and they helped me out on the spot! I will always get my oil changed here.

Service felt rushed. They were honest and no additional fees or hidden costs. They ignored half of the problems I asked to have them fix so I still have car trouble. Was impressed with the turnaround time. I think they buy second hand parts. Labor costs seemed a tad high to me.

Front door lock on our 2013 VW Passat had random failure to unlock with remote. We checked with the local VW dealership and found price to be shockingly high for cost of repair. Talked with Metric Motors about the issue and they provided a quote for repair, cost about 1/2 of what the dealership wanted. Repair was done in one day at quoted price, problem solved. Would recommend you check out this shop for VW repair. Staff was very pleasant and helpful.

I walked into Metric Motors in Edmond. The business was as neat and clean as a dealership. Wow! Bryan helped me and was the definition of professional. I decided to skip the dealership and try out Metric Motors. I had heard good things about them from a friend. I needed the oil/filter changed, the coolant flushed, and the transmission flushed. Prices were fair and less than a dealership would have charged. They got my vehicle in as scheduled, completed the work in a timely manner, and let me know it was ready. My particular vehicle will drip engine oil after an oil change if not done properly. I am happy to report they did it properly and I had not one drop of oil on my garage floor! I recommend these guys and will use them again in the future.

I originally took an 84 Saab to them for work back about 30 years and had excellent service. More recently I bought a german car and took it to them and they provided great service at a very reasonable cost. When they performed my service they actually look to see if the parts (in this case engine and cabin filters) to see if they actually needed replacement, which they determined they did not. The dealer would have replaced them regardless and charged an exorbitant price. I will be taking it back to them!

Its hard to find a mechanic you can trust. These guys have a reputation among other mechanics and parts stores for being trustworthy and skilled. They didnt disappoint. My car was repaired quickly and correctly. They even have cats that you can pet while you sit on the leather sofas watching a movie. I absolutely recommend them.

Amazing customer service, and honest prices. I saved nearly $500 getting work done here versus the dealership. Make sure and shop around as a consumer and get quotes instead of just letting the first person say a price. Thanks for the fast service and my new brakes and rotors are working perfectly. They were recommended by a friend, and have worked on 3 different cars of mine. They are very honest and straight shooters. Reasonable prices and solid work. They have even comped a service when they did a repair that turned out not to be the original problem--when they go out of their way to admit a mistake, thats when youve got a keeper in a mechanic!

Great service, great prices

They did a Great job pulling the blown-up motor in my NIssan Frontier , cataloging the parts to be re-used (sensors, intake, etc.), then re-assembled and installed the re-built motor. They then tested the new engine and found an oil leak. The engine builder paid Metric Motors to do the repair and I have been driving with no problems for 2 months. These guys always do good work for me. 5 stars!

I am a repeat customer, but after todays interaction. I am looking else where. I just like many other car owners, always feel a significant amount of distrust when dealing with auto shops. A friend referred me to MM. I will be upfront and honest. They were amazing. I loved the friendly atmosphere, the upfront honesty, and willingness to put, me, the customer at their foremost priority. Killing me with kindness seems to have done them in for me. Our last visit and final visit changed my perspective. I admitted to have crossed communication on both ends, people make mistakes. Lets move on, but when giving them some honest customer feedback on how to maybe prevent this situation from happening again, the service man proceed to give me advice on how my marriage should function. Sorry, but that is crossing the line. A simple thank you for you feedback, we will work on that next time would have sufficed.

Metric Motors did a great job on my truck. I needed to have a timing belt, serpentine belt, water pump, & spark plugs replaced in addition to repair of a faulty O2 sensor and an oil change. They quoted me a great price and got all the work done in one day. I was very pleased with my service and highly recommend them to others looking for a good shop.

They have never tried to up-sell me on some miscellaneous repair. I have taken it in several times expecting the worst and had them diagnose it as something pretty minor or an inexpensive fix.

I had to have my AC repaired this past June and to do this my entire dash had to be pulled. In October I used my heater for the first time in 6 months and discovered that the passenger side had no heat. I took it back to MM and they pulled the dash and fixed the heater for free - even though it was unclear whether the heater issue had anything to do with when they pulled the dash before. I am blown away by this level of service. If it had been at the dealership or any other repair shop I would have spent another $1,000 to have the heater fixed. Thank you to MM for delivering the best customer experience.

These guys are awesome! I knew something fuse related was up because I couldnt charge a cell phone in either power adapter, but for the life of me I couldnt find the fuse I needed to change. These guys (specifically Brian) replaced the fuse, showed me which one it was and did it all free of charge. Good to know you can still find outstanding service these days!Thanks guys!

Ive been a customer since 1998 and have had a Honda, a Mazda, a Subaru, and current family fleet of Toyotas serviced there for items as benign as timing belt replacements and as complex as clutch replacements. Theyve always been on time with schedules, within budget of the estimated costs, and reasonable to work with on perceived discrepancies. Ill continue to take vehicles to MM and would highly recommend them to anyone else.

I have many years of taking my cars to Metric Motors including Lexus, Hondas, and in every case these guys have done excellent work. I trust their judgment and would recommend them to anyone. I think so highly of them that I drive my sons car from Kansas City just to ensure that I get honest and excellent work. Even if they may not be the cheapest they surely give the best value for the money and confidence I have in them. Let me say that as an older gentleman I recognize value and these guys give it.

These guys know what theyre doing and are more than fair with their prices. Ive been to several places where they created more problems with my car than solved, Metric found and fixed all the issues I was having and fixed the other mechanics mistakes. They have people here who specialize in certain brands so you know that the person working on your car thoroughly knows what theyre doing. I felt like they treated repairing my car as if it were their own, suggesting the best options to keep my car running rather than being cheap or trying to sell me a bunch of repairs I didnt need. Being a woman its sometimes hard to finds a mechanic that isnt condescending when you ask them to explain things but they were absolutely respectful and patient with every question I had. These are the only people I will ever trust with my car again if youre looking you should definitely try them out!

Called dealership for cost of brake job in my Audi Q7 and thought I would check with Metic Motors as I always see Audi’s when I drive by. Glad I did as MM’s cost was significantly less. Got in two days after my call and done in one day, plus I had them do two other things, headlight and seat issue. Will go back and refer anyone with Audi or BMW without Hesitation. I took my BMW 535i for check engine light, because they used to service the car for ex owner. after inspection, i was told it needs $400+ because a gas tank pressure sensor is not working, I was not convinced so I asked them for the inspection receipt, I paid $100+ for that, afterwards I noticed oil spill, it was the oil cooler line, they charged me $100+ for inspection, and they didnt notice oil leak from the front point of the engine!!, but they were able to figure out a sensor in the gas tank. Anyway thank god I didnt pay $400+ for the sensor.

I recently moved back to OKC and in looking for a new place to service my car, the first place I thought of was Metric Motors, as they have a trusted name thats been around for many years. The staff was friendly and service prompt.

I have always received an honest assessment, professional services, and fair price. My family wont go anywhere else.

I brought my car in for an oil change and I specifically asked to check for filters. They called back in an hour and said my car is ready. I asked again regarding the filters, they said the filters are ok, no need. I looked up on you tube and figured out how to check the filters, and the air filters are dirty. There is no evidence of them checking it. I am very disappointed. I cant trust them again.

Had to work on my sons 2004 Audi because the cost of parts and labor were way out of our reach. Got the car fixed but couldnt get the heater to work right. Called Metric Motors and explained what was going on with the Audi and what Id done to try to solve the problem. Most auto repair shops would have charged me a bunch of money and would have been rude because I worked on the car instead of them. Not Metric Motors! They were friendly, professional and didnt overcharge. Best of all, they fixed the problem with the heater! Metric Motors has gained a customer for any future mechanical repair problems I may have. Thumbs up!!!

Well when you have a problem call brian i was not satisfied with my service ( i have used and loved mm for at least 7 -8 years service was always excellent ) i can say they care , and they care enough to call you personally to fix what ever problem you are having . if you want excellent service these are the guys to do business with and trust

Have had bad experiences with some Edmond repair shops, but all of my experiences with Metric motors turned out great. Highly recommended.

There are far better shops than metric motors. Anywhere will do. I took my car there for a water pump and catalytic converters, but they installed the water pump with old gaskets the first time, couldnt get the gaskets to fit the second, and the third time the water pump broke.Fourth time was the charm, but a leak still existed I had to fix myself. I still cant get my catalytic converters to run at the correct efficiency, and theyve led to trouble with oxygen sensors too. Metric Motors said someone else had installed them though, and I had to take it to another shop. Thats as much hassle as I could put up with though, and fixed it myself. If you feel the need to risk your cars health I wish good luck at least, but there are many places who can do it properly the first time. Most of Oklahoma Citys mechanics are quite competent, and there are excellent mechanics in Edmond as well - metric motors just isnt were they work.

When looking for a mechanic for my daughters 2006 BMW, I chose Metric because of the good reviews on google. I went in and told them (Marc) I want to fix EVERYTHING, so please check it closely,I hated for my daughter to be in any car that was at risk to break down. Later that day I got the estimate and gave him the go ahead.It took a week, my daughter and I picked the car up, when we started it we could tell that it wasnt right, I had Marc look at it, he assured me that they took care of the issues.One of the issues were a coolant leak, not fixed at all! And an oil leak that started leaking again about a month out, so instead of a 4000 mile oil change she had to start adding oill to it, with in the first 2000 miles. So they actually didnt fix anything except the window.

I received a price quote and they were very high. I called another shop in town and they were less and provided a better warranty.

Decided to take my car here based on the glowing reviews found online and their purported specialty in imports. The communication on their part was truly atrocious - they never once called me back when they said they were going to. Most importantly, they never indicated that additional work might be required after the replacement of my broken timing belt, even though a cursory internet search tells me that this is a big concern with interference engines. They daisy-chained the repairs together so I was forced to either choose to pay $1,200 for a timing belt replacement and receive a nonfunctional car, or pay nearly $2,000 (more than the car is worth) to receive a functional car with repaired valves/pistons. I specifically cleared the original estimate with their representative as it was nearly what the car was worth, and was never told about the potential for a significant amount of additional work. Ridiculous stuff. Will never be returning here, and I advise everyone reading this to not bother as well.

Beyond Terrible. Chose Metric motors for the high end techs. Took them all day to tell me it was a mass flow sensor... and it wasnt! It was the throttle body and ECM! And I told them that going into the job. WHAT A SCAM! Additionally Poor communication. Never called to update cars status. Once the car was fixed it died again within mins once I got it home. Failed to take responsibility for it, but agreed to look at it. Turns out it was the ECM. (surprise!) So $300, 2 tows (another $300), they damaged the fuel gauge (another $120), and a ton of headaches due to the negligent communication, i got my very expensive 2nd opinion. Super disappointed in service, but more so in the lack of customer service.
