We were renting a duplex that Jake bought. He told us that nothing would change as far as our lease and that he was planning on keeping our unit as a rental. A short time later his sister called to schedule a showing of the unit. Jakes response to that was that she was mistaken and supposed to be showing the next door unit. A few weeks later she called again to schedule a showing and we learned that Jake was in fact trying to sell this unit also. Jake offered us another year lease to show us he did not intend to sell A few weeks later he proposed buying us out of the lease if the unit would sell. The offer was barely enough to cover moving at best. A short time after that we were contacted by an agent to do a final inspection on the unit as he was representing the new buyer. When I talked to the agent he was under the impression they were buying us out of our lease as Jake had told him we were willing to move. we informed the agent we had no intention of moving and we had to get an attorney involved to protect our lease. Jake is a liar and your typical snake oil salesman, good luck dealing with him!

Brackenwagen Properties provided a great living space in our 5 bedroom duplex. The room was spacious enough for all roommates, and the build quality of the apartment was done well and has been cleaned and kept in very good/like new condition. Michelle and Todd were very easy to work with and repaired our dryer within the week it stopped working, as well as routinely checked in to make sure all was well in general. Highly recommend them to any responsible renters looking for responsible landlords.
