Great value! He only charged me $95 to unlock my car! I had another guy a while back who charged $200 plus for the same make and model vehicle.

Chris was AMAZING! My friend and I were locked out of her apartment twice and called pop a lock. Chris was beyond helpful and speedy too! He was there and had the door unlocked in under 20 minutes. Not to mention he was VERY personable and gave us tips on how to deal with a wasp problem. The pricing was also VERY reasonable, and the service was 100% worth it! If you need ANYTHING unlocked, call pop a lock, and Chris will take EXCELLENT care of you! Hopefully, weve learned our lesson and wont lock ourselves out again, but if we do pop a lock will ALWAYS be our first call!

When our keys got locked in our trunk at the golf course, I figured we were stuck for hours! Set it up online for an appointment and they responded with about 45 minutes which thrilled me!! Imagine how happy I was when they called to say 10-20 minutes instead! Within 30 minutes since contacting them, we were back on the road! Couldn’t ask for better service! Would definitely recommend!

Great personnel (2 employees present at teir location). FAST key duplication & key fob programming. They even put a new battery in my existing key fob! Price was average for lock companies, but much less than a dealer. Totally satisfied!

He was fast and professional. I really liked that he didnt have to use a wedge in the door to open it. He was able to use a key pick in the actual lock. It didnt take but a couple of minutes and I was on my way.

I had a unique situation where I could not get into my car, even though I had my keys. They clearly explained my options to me and went the extra mile to make sure I could get into my car and also made sure it was affordable. Absolutely useless do NOT call them! I lost my keys and was trying to access a second pair locked inside my car (an Audi). Pop a Lock was first on the AAA call list for some reason. An agent showed up, spent 15 minutes looking at my car from inside his own vehicle (it seemed like his girlfriend was in the car with him) only to get out and tell me he wasn’t allowed to open an Audi because it couldn’t be done. He told me he called AAA to send someone else. I asked him how long, and he said he didn’t know then drove off.Waited 30 more min, called AAA again, and found that no one was actually on the way. After they once again sent another useless locksmith, I called Stars n Stripes Locksmith. He arrived faster than Pop a Lock, was a thousand times friendlier, and had the door open and undamaged within 5 minutes of arrival. I would recommend them over Pop a Lock any day.

The guy was to our house within 12 to 15 minutes and had the door unlocked right away. He was super kind about it and it was free since our child was inside.

I bought a car that had crossbars on the roof and I was never given the key. The seller said he lost the key a few years ago. Ive been to about five different locksmiths. None of them even attempted to help whatsoever. Then I went to Pop-A-Lock in Eau Claire. They were determined to pick the locks on the crossbars. Because the locks havent be turned in 5+ years, they had some difficulty at first but they managed to turn them. After they got the locks off, they made me a few keys and made sure they fit quite a few times (I think they had to file down the inside of the lock and make a custom key or something like this). I went to pay and expected this would be quite expensive because of all the work that went into it. Ended up to be about $30. Very happy with the work they did and they were very nice people as well.

Took me a couple visits to the store, before they had what I was in need of, but theyre really great guys. Needed a new fob for my truck and Chris took good care of me. In all fairness, he couldnt give me all the customer care that he wanted, because of my work hours. They will come to you and fix the issue, if you can be there to speak with them and sign paperwork. I will use them again for any lock issues that may arise.

Our car dealer lost the second key to the vehicle we purchased from them. The dealer contacted Pop a lock, and within 10 minutes, someone reached out to us (and it was after regular business hours) and scheduled a time the very next day to come to my work location and create a second key for us.The original key had a battery fail. So grateful for this company. One of the worst snow storms of the year, we end up locked out of our house while shoveling because of a power outage. Chris was not only here in a very timely manner, road conditions aside, but he was got us in our house where our kids were sleeping, in no time. The fact that a complete stranger would put himself in unsafe driving conditions to get to our house (getting stuck to and fro) to help us get inside to our sleeping kids demonstrates how dedicated and remarkable this company is. He never even questioned it. The second he heard that there were kids locked inside (safe and sleeping, none the less) he was on his way. The icing on the cake (no pun intended given the road conditions)....once inside, I asked him what I owed him and said, “Nothing. Our biggest concern is that the kids are safe.” #speechless. Locked my keys in my car. The gentleman told me he wouldnt take the call because of temperatures.. I get it its cold out, but you have a job. Youre leaving someone stranded outside in negative temperatures. Move somewhere warm if you want to be picky. Never again will I contact this company and I told my insurance to take them off the local listings.

As parents, we all know that sometimes the unexpected can happen. Today one of those unexpected things happened when my daughter was in her car seat and her father and I had the heart wrenching moment of panic when we went to open the door only to discover they had somehow been locked and now our precious daughter was stuck inside and we couldnt get to her. A friendly neighbor just happened to step outside, see what was going on and mentioned calling pop-a-lock. After calling a man showed up and within moments had the door open. Because they acted so quickly our daughter was okay and for that we are both eternally grateful and relieved that the situation didnt have to be more stressful than it already was. The best part of this was that not only did they act fast but the service was free of charge. I dont remember the guys name but for now well just call him a hero. He was fast at what he did and also very understanding of our situation. I strongly urge everyone to share this helpful piece of information. There is nothing worse than the helpless feeling that comes along with situations like this. Of course we both felt bad that this happened but it is also nice to know that there are still good people out there.

I bought a car and it came with two extra uncut and unprogramed keys. Called to see about getting keys programed and cut. Told the hours of operation are by appointment only unless its an emergency (then its 24hrs a day), they wont cut keys without a deposit because it breaks their machine and I would need to pay for repair, they can program keys for my vehicle thought. I chose elsewhere and got my keys programed and cut for a little over half what pop a lock quoted me.

Gotta give 5 stars. Im a jackass and locked my keys AND 20 MONTH OLD DAUGHTER in my car at the gas station. Turns out popalock pops your lock for free if theres a child in the car. Mad props son.

I accidentally locked my keys in my car at Walmart and my daughter was inside (25 degrees today). I called them and they were there within 10 min and had my vehicle open within a minute. They were so fast and so friendly. I will definitely always use them if I ever need them again.

Pop-a-lock does great work. I closed on my first home, and they were there the day I moved in to rekey the house for me. We were in and out moving things - but not once did the technician make us feel like we were getting in the way. He was in and out in about an hour for 4 locks. Well worth the money - probably would have spent much more $ on hardware to replace them all and an even greater amount of time trying to get it all done and working properly. Instead, I hired Pop-a-lock to do it for me, and I wouldnt even hesitate to have them help again! Thanks Pop-a-lock!

Fast service good price

Fantastic service! I went it to get key/fob combo programed to my car. While I was there, I mentioned that when I got the key cut (by a different company) only one side worked. They fixed the problem and got both sides working for no additional cost. I would give them six stars if i could.

The service was excellent from the initial phone call to the response time to my vehicle. I was given a reasonable estimated time of arrival of 20-40 minutes and they were here within 20. I highly recommend Pop a Lock for the Chippewa Valley area!
