Salesman bated me in with a promise of $700 for my old phone trade in. He then refused to give me any receipt for my old phone. The second time I asked he called me “paranoid.” After leaving I called Verizon Customer service who told me there was NO record of any trade in on my account and I should have left with a receipt! Returned to this store same day and demanded receipt. Employee then CALLED someone (His Boss?) to walk him through how to do it on the computer. Very shady. Totally a “say whatever it takes to get your money” salesman….. reviewing my account he didn’t even sign me up for the plan I requested. Nice to me then after he gets my money a totally different side was shown. I should have known better.

I had a great time at Verizon with the help of Omar. He is friendly and doing his job professionally. Me and my mom tried to trade in our phones to buy the new iphone 12. He patiently explained the promotion and helped us from A to Z. He even asked if I have any questions. Best service I’ve ever had.

Andre turned me away and refused to let me purchase a phone 20 minutes before closing time because he had closed the cash register. I just came over from T-Mobile three days ago I’ve spent 11 hours on the phone with Verizon trying to port my final two watch lines over properly. This was just the cherry on top. Drove far because they had late hours and my phone in stock could not believe they turned me away. My father is without a phone for work because Andre wouldn’t sell me one during business hours. Chris was very personable right from the beginning and knowledgeable with any questions/concerns i had in regards to purchasing a new Samsung S20+.He was also able to effectively train staff while he transitioned data from my old phone. Don’t come here I’ve had back to back horrible experiences at this place. I stopped in one summer to get a screen protector last summer and it’s been nothing but a nightmare ever since. After purchasing I immediately set up the warranty on it. A couple months later my screen protector cracked horribly so I go to replace and they tell me I don’t have a warranty , even though I have an email from pure gear stating my warranty has been activated. After repeating my name and phone number probably 10x to the young lady she was finally able to locate my warranty and put a claim in to reorder my replacement. When I received my replacement it was for the wrong phone so I immediately call them to inform them. Spoke to a manager who stated she would exchange the size and even would put my name on it and put it to the side. Due to the coronavirus the mall closed and i was unable to go in. Fast forward to today I go in to exchange my screen protector and i was told that I am not able to exchange my screen protector and If i wanted to I would have to pay $6 then was later told it would be $14 for shipping even though it was an error on their end and I already paid for shipping FOR THE WRONG ITEM. This place is trash , the people who work there are trash and don’t know how to do their job. My advice would be to just drive the 20 minutes to go to freehold where they know how to do their freaking job.

I am very disappointed in the salesman Omar... I first came in that store and asked him they are able to order Samsung s20 ultra 5g 512gb... He said yes... I was specific that I wanted that model...on the 3rd visit on the 28th of August I asked him again to make sure that he is able to get it for me before we go thru the lengthy process... He assured me that it was possible... Wasted almost 2 hours for him to tell me in the end that it was not possible... This was a waste of time for me... I am not happy with this salesman...

If I could rate a “no star” I would. They lied to me twice about their “deals”. And when I asked about the discrepancies, the salesman was initially speechless and then ended up saying “we misunderstood each other”. This was after over an hour. I ended up canceling my order for TWO new phones. Guess who needed up losing because they tried to push their stupid accessories on me?!?! STAY AWAY!!!

They take advantage of the elderly. My mother had an iPhone X. She forgets how to do things, and I regularly have to go to her house and help. I wasn’t around. They convinced my mom her iPhone X was really old... an iPhone 6. They sold her an iPhone 11. She doesn’t know my account pin. She shouldn’t have been able to make changes on my account. She was offered nothing for the trade in. She didn’t sign documents. And a day later they posted $17 device insurance. I regularly get receipts from Verizon on changes to my account. They never came in. I noticed when I paid my monthly bill that it was increasing, on day the return policy was ending after hours. They refused my request to return it a day late. They said the don’t have a copy of the device paperwork. Go to a eroding Store never to an authorized reseller.

I am writing to thank an employee of your in the Monmouth Mall location. Zach is a wonder asset to your company. After a poor reception and bad customer service at the Corporate Verizon location in Sea Girt, Nj I drove directly to the Monmouth Mall location (where I should have gone first) and Zach was able to assist me with the issues that I was having. Zach explained to me what could be done and more importantly WHY certain things could not be accomplished.Thank you for providing such a great service! I will continue to recommend that clients visit your location rather than go to a Verizon corporate store.Update 10/2020- Unfortunately I feel the need to update my review. A company is only as good as the employees it retains. It seems that this location has a new group that just does not take customer service to heart. I entered with a battery issue and was told that nothing could be done and that if anything could be done it would be well over $100 and not worth it for my cheap phone I asked a few more questions hoping to get the pricing for a new phone and was treated poorly. I was able to visit a different retailer and fix my unfixable issue for $42. Not sure that I will return. At least not when the same employee crew is working.

If I could rate this store NO stars, I certainly would. I am not typically one to spend my time writing online reviews, but I feel vehemently passionate about the fraud that I was exposed to at this location. Do not shop here! Tell everyone you know. If you expect honest, helpful, and customer-centered business, go to a true Verizon store, even if its more of a drive.I have been a Verizon customer for over a decade, and have never been wronged by the company. However, I would NEVER suggest for anyone to conduct business with any A Wireless location. Unfortunately, I was traveling out-of-state and was in need of a new phone in a pinch and this was the only location I could make it to. This was a huge mistake - dont make the same mistake I did.Alex, a salesperson, lied to my face about the stipulations of my contract by giving me false or incorrect answers when I asked questions about the device upgrade. Then, he went on to enroll me in insurance for my device regardless of the fact that I CLEARLY and VERBALLY declined the additional cost. Ive never paid for insurance on any of the devices I have had with Verizon.Thats only one small piece of how I was wronged. Furthermore, Alex (or another salesperson with access to my account) fraudulently forged my signature on an Installment Loan Agreement WHICH I NEVER SAW electronically or otherwise and now I have been fighting to get my contract absolved because my bill is outrageously high for a phone I was told would not cost me anything beyond my one-time upgrade activation.The staff that work at this store under the store manager, Gustavo, are making money in illegal ways. Do not support this location or any branch of this business.

I dont understand these terrible reviews here! I read them & didnt want to go to this store, but found just the opposite when I arrived. All the employees there were very nice. I saw Kali, who helped me with a repair. I ended up upgrading, she got me a good deal.She was very friendly, knowledgeable, & professional. I would highly recommend this store.

I recently visited this location to upgrade my families phones. My sales person greeted me and made me feel comfortable from the start. I have never had such a great experience before. Two thumbs for this location!

The staff went above and beyond to help me. I lost my brand new Pixel 2 and I went in trying to make an insurance claim, which I knew I would have to pay the deductible. The store manager was able to help me locate the phone using my gmail. He could have sent me on my way with filing the claim but instead he showed he cared and help me save $200. My family and I will be back to do business at this location for sure.

Absolutely horrible! Just spent over an hour waiting for them to activate a new Pixel phone I was buying from them. These guys couldnt figure out how to do it. After an hour I asked for the manager and was told he was the manager! The guy had the nerve to say I was holding them up from activating the phone!! I had sat quietly and patiently for an hour! Only question they asked me was my pin number! NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER!

RUN AWAY! I was with Verizon for 8 years, most recently paying $250 for a shared 8GB on 5 lines (PLUS $15 per GB on overages.)I now have Sprint and am paying $144 with unlimited data (17GB per phone per month before they slow you down.)

I just spent over two hours in your store in Monmouth mall NJ. I wanted to upgrade my phone. I was told there was a fee of $30 on top of the other costs, I was further told this could not be waived. I left and contacted Verizon by phone. After some discussion and me telling them I no longer found Verizon the best value for my phoes (4), TV and Internet and would be leaving they told me they were waiving the $30 fee. I went back to the store and relayed my discussion to them, they rang up the total and included the $30 fee again. I pointed this out and was informed by, the less than helpful, salesman that it said the fee could be waived but that he, and the manager, were not waiving it and I could take it or leave it. I informed him I would be cancelling All my Verizon accounts. ! never have I experienced such bad service. I am now arranging to move my devices to another firm, not a major loss for Verizon but, I will tell everyone of my experience. terrible, terrible !!

I was lied to at this Verizon Franchise. I spent three months going from Corporate to this Franchise store I bought my Iphone 7 Plus at . They had a promotion when I was there September 17 . Trade in your 6 for 7 and get 600.00 credit. When I received the phone since they were out of stock Oct 18 and I went to give them my 6 and they told me I had to send it to Verizon . I said you are Verizon. They said I could bring it to a Corporate store. I did . The Corporate store told me to go online and get a box sent to me to return . I did. I also had to agree on a $200.00 credit online to get that box . I called the franchise and they told me that they will see that I bought the phone during the promotion and give me this 600 dollar credit even with me agreeing on the $200 . I called Verizon They said there was no promotion of $600 on that date and that I should not deal with franchises and they could only give me $300.00 Corporate store said the same thing to me. I went to the franchise manager and they told me that they should never say that. The franchise manager told me that if I do not get the $600 credit come see him and he will take care of it. I did . He said that since the phone wasnt returned during the promo period I can only get $300 . I said that it wasnt returned because you were out of stock and the salesperson said thats OK that Verizon will see I bought the phone during the $600 promo and I will get it.Recently I got my bill and only received a 200 credit . I called Verizon on 12/15 and they asked me how much I was owed I said $100. I asked again about the $600 and they said that there wasnt any promotion for $600 with Verizon Corp and a franchise might do their own promotion.She said the promo at Corp was 300 and that she would be able to give me a 100 credit and a phone case.I said I could of gotten 400 for my 6 on Ebay . She was nice and said you should never deal with franchises.I am still upset that I did not get 600 and only 300. I received an ipad for $10.00 from the franchise . If it sounds to good to be true stay away. I will never deal with anyone but Corporate stores . Its amazing that Verizon Corp. store trashed this franchise and that Verizon said dont deal with Franchises.Im sure thats not protocol since there are more franchises than corporate stores and this franchise has been around longer than any Verizon I know of . This franchise should make good on the $600.00 Unfortunately I do not have anything in writing that they had this promotion on that date. I guess I could go back for the fourth time and argue and get aggravated. But not right now. Of the franchise reads this look at Sept 17 and if there was a $600 trade in well I have proof that I bought the phone then received it later and only received to date $200.00

They are not qualified as employees, even the manager REALLY suck. They are only kind for new customers to buy products. I went there to charge early termination fee and to argue about my bill. My account was supposed to terminated last month, but my phone is still alive, so I argued that I cant pay for this month. But, they said we have no fault and said contact with Customer Service, not here thats it.They dont know whats RESPONSIBILITY and KINDNESS. They said it was your fault that you did not act right away when its still alive. I thought its gonna cancel soon and I was so busy to finals in summer semester. Does it make sense? They never said sorry and took care for buying customers, not me. They never consider leaving customers. After that, I visited Verizon which is in Shrewsbury Plaza. The guy was so kind and I solved the problems.Go to Shrewsbury Plaza, its 3 mins away north. Theres a very kind one.

The WORST customer service in history. I had to go back 3 separate times to try and upgrade my phone. The second time they ordered the phone for me and when I went back to pick it up they said I still couldnt upgrade. Every time I dealt with a different person who told me a different story. HUGE WASTE OF TIME. After leaving the third time I called corporate and ordered the phone through them and had it set up. Save your time and energy and go straight to corporate!

So this was the third time I have been here to try to figure out what to do about my horrible experience with a Samsung Galaxy S (Fascinate). The phone shutsdown randomly...even durring calls. This phone locks up and will not operate frequently so I have to pull the battery out and start it back up. This phone changes color to a green hue on every screen every once in a while. I even get calls and cannot answer them cause the phone is unresponsive.The first time was about six or seven months ago and all they would tell me was to master reset the device or claim the insurance. They had no idea what was happening or why. Since they had no explaination I did not want to lose all of my data for them to find out if this helps. In other words they have no idea if it will help or not and just want to experiment...at the cost of my information. I left with no resolution.The second time was about three months ago and I was given the same option and two new ones. The first new option was to add a line to my account and use that new device on my existing line...nobody wants to think about the $12 extra you pay per month for this phone which costs you an extra $288 over two years. Nevermind the fact that the whole scenario is a bandaid on a broken arm. The second new option was to delete a bunch of apps off of the phone. She said I had too much on the device. I said there is a good 14gb available so how is that possible and she told me that it was meant for music and stuff that doesnt require anything more than storage space. So left with the plan to delet apps and stuff I did not use regularly. Needless to say I did that and cleared out quite a lot with no change in how the phone was failing.The most recent time was yesterday and I didnt even begin with my problem. I actually asked the guy where I might be able to buy a Palm Pre somewhere. He told me that the phone is dated and I shouldnt go that direction. That actually got us into the conversation about my phone and the problems and even though I told the guy I was not ready for an upgrade and not interested in adding a line to upgrade only, he still went that path. They assume no responsibility of the device cause its made by Samsung and if you want they can give you another one that has been used by someone and cleaned up. Again a bandaid on a broken arm...same phone and same usage means same problems in four months. The last option was that I could get an ipad and upgrade that cause there is no contract. I said, What makes you think I need an ipad. Keep in mind we had not talked about it and he never even asked if I wanted one or had one. He said, Well you said you use the phone for business so maybe you could use the tablet for work. To which I said, I am not buying my company an ipad. If there is a nedd for an ipad, they can buy it. He proceeds to tell me that he was not saying I should buy it for my job and I am thinking...man you are an idiot...why am I going to go through all of that expense to replace a phone...THAT SHOULD WORK IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!In the end I walked out and I will just deal with a non-working phone and make sure that I never buy anything other than Apple going forward. I rank myself pretty highly in the amount I use the phone every day. I look things up constantly...whatever comes to mind. I use many social apps including Facebook, Twitter Tumblr, Instagram, LinkedIn, and a few messaging platforms. I do several thousand texts per month and only make a handful of calls. I would have gotten the iPhone but it came out for Verizon Wireless exactly 34 days past the day I bought this Samsung.
