They are a bit more expensive than any other taxi service I know of in my area / county. I honestly never call and use this taxi service- EVERpretty much, not only bc they are on the expensive side ------ but also I did that for Gianna in pee-k

Excellent and prompt service. More affordable than Uber, in fact 1/3 of the price late at night. Courteous and professional drivers.

Their prices are higher because they lack optimized driver routing. Even with all the free GPS apps available as tools for them to utilize. Cars have an extremely foul putrid smell. A non-smoker’s worst nightmare. Owner is extremely unprofessional. Owner needs to be trained in a couple of courses in customer service. I won’t patronize this company ever again.

So I tried to call for a taxi like 5 minutes ago and the guy who answered was really nasty and he hang up on me

I am a regular with A one and I wouldnt ever go with another company. They always make me feel welcomed and comfortable. They are personable and respectful and always there within minutes of calling. I actually enjoy my rides to work! A one will always have me as their customer! I highly recommend them to everyone!!!

Took a ride after getting terrible service from another company. My driver Angel was a great guy. It was a clean cab, he followed all of my requests, and was just a fun guy to talk to. In the end it was a reasonable price and my driver went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of. These guys were great. If you need a cab try and catch these guys. They treat you like human beings.

Call this cab company 4 separate times to get home from work , they never showed up , never called. This is with in past few months , so they are currently horrible. And by the way I live in same town they are based out of and they still never showed

I had a really good experience with A one taxi. The person I was talking to was very nice and sweet. The driver came perfectly on time and I was not late to meet up with my family! I will be riding this taxi everyday.!!!

I called them for a ride to the train station & gave the dispatcher incorrect information for where I needed to be picked up. The dispatcher & driver spent more time then I would expected a company to use trying to find true location. I was able to finally find the taxi & had a swift ride to the station in plenty of time for my train. I will definitely use this service again.

First off dont bother booking through the website, they said that was setup by a scab company trying to steal the their customers but went out of business. On the flip side, they got me a cab out quickly and got me where I was going. The guy on the phone was a bit on the abrupt side. If there is a fraudulent website they need to get a hold of google and have the link removed from their contact info. Its usually not to hard for the company owners to do.

Don’t ever, ever, everrrr choose this cab service. They need to be shut down. I waited an hour better off taking the bus or Uber.

Used A One taxi service recently for first few times. They are much much better then any other service in the area. Each time they have come super fast, drivers have been nice, and the cars are cleaner then any of the other ones. Would never use another company in monmouth or ocean county. Prices seem to be on par or cheaper then others services i have used.

Legitimately, the best Taxi ride Ive ever gotten. Great conversation even at 3am, picked me up right when I asked them to, got me to me to long branch train station earlier than expected (big deal because NJ transit is has a very unforgiving schedule). Cost me less than what an Uber wouldve cost me. I am extremely happy with their service and will be requesting my driver, Angel, again in the future!

Fool me once shame on them. Fool me twice shame on me. This is the second time this lousy taxi service left me stranded. 1st time after 4 calls to pick my wife and I up at the redbank theater they never showed after a hour of promise and didnt answer phone. 2nd time was recent I called for pick up at a Ford Dealer they told me 10 min. After 25 min waiting I called back and they told me they were busy and couldnt get me a car for a while. I had to go to a main intersection to flag down a passing cab. This company should not have a business. They have no clue on how to run a business. Worst taxi service in all of Nj. If you dont hide a one star you cant post. They arent worth a 1/3 star.

I called for their services on October 24th because I have catch a flight on the 25th. They told the price which I agreed on everything and I was told that the driver will be at the address that I have them at 2:00pm The driver didnt show up till 2:15 and I called to fine out why is the driver late and I was told that the driver on his way. Finally showed up 40 minutes late. We arrived late to Newark airport. I missed my flight and I had to purchase another airline ticket. The driver was very rude and he didnt apologize for being late. All Ive heard from him that he was never told to pick me up until 30 minutes prior to his arrival to my house. I have to say this is my very last time to deal with this company.

I have used this company twice now and was happy the first time. However this last time I used them I was awakened to a cheating scheme. I was flying in from the west coast with my mother and had arranged for this taxi service to pick us up from newark airport. The dispatcher asked for my flight # so I assumed that they would watch for delays. My flight was delayed by an hour or so and I let the driver know this. he then texted me back that he would be charging me a penalty for the lateness. I was confused - I have never been charged a penalty for lateness especially since it was not my fault and furthermore they had my flight details and I guess never bothered to check them.I will not be using this company again. I would rather rent a car then be cheated. Driver name was Sam. I noticed that the owner of A One Taxi tries to suggest that these bad reviews are fake and by a competitive taxi company. trust me this is not a fake review! Now Im wondering if the good reviews are posted by the owner.

Called and booked a taxi to pick me up at JFK Airport to Asbury Park, NJ. Pick up was booked and when my plane arrived at JFK, no taxi. Called dispatcher who informed me that none of her drivers would drive to JFK. Seriously stranding me at airport. Dispatcher claimed it was not her fault despite the fact that I booked taxi 5 hours in advance. I have an inner ear disease so a plane ride is rough. Cant rent a car and drive, a bus to a train is impossible when ill with an inner ear disease. so completely stuck at airport. The dispatcher is 100% at fault. If you do not have taxi service from JFK to NJ, then do not take reservations. Horrible!

This company is too expensive for the service they provide its HORRIBLE. Their drivers stink and smell bad and also they take forever they say 5 minutes and end up taking 15 sometimes 20 minutes its one thing to be honest about the timing but dont have one expecting a cab in a few minutes !!!! And come that late! Ive been late to work almost 6 times because of them you would think I would learn by now. As I had told the drivers I was running late they didnt try their best to hurry and get me there they still took their time and didnt make their fate their priority. One time the driver even stopped for gas as I had told him I was in a hurry .Their so expensive, and the one guy I had for the past two times was very rude and had a nasty attitude. This is a TERRIBLE taxi company! I live & work local but dont drive. This is basically 1 of very few cabs in Eatontown area & they know it. Male morning dispatch lies ALL the time about wait time..The drivers are rude & lie just the same. Thete is always a discrepancy about prices & the rides are often riugh.. MANY ppl I know have have HORRIBLE experiences with them. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM!!!!

My experience with A-one taxi was horrible. They arrived 30 minutes late after they told me 5 to 10 minutes. The car driver was very rude and the car was messy in the back. This has happened on more than one occasion and i will be telling my friends and family not call A-one taxi. Ive been late to worked and yelled at from my boss due to this poor service.

Wish i could give 0 stars car smelled of cigarettes and i had my two week old daughter with me .
