So the sign outside says regular 289 with wash 314 with no wash. I get to the pump and it says 3:24. Im never coming here again and no one else should

I worked here over the summer in 2018 for 10 shifts before I had to quit because I had to move back home. I worked overnight shifts at this place, and they never paid me. I attempted to collect payment three times, I contacted the owner of this business. Please do not apply here, it was a mistake

Great gas station and car wash! I think the low rating comes from how hard it can be getting in & out of lot with traffic.But always friendly staff, fair prices & well stocked!

Bought a car wash, car wash was broke down. Cashier was nice but manager/owner acted like I was crazy to want a refund. No apology, just “you can use it later”. Hope saving $7 was worth a bad review and a lost customer.

Marathon Station at Hagadorn and Grand River has a sign on the cooler that 20oz. Coke is 2/$3. Yet at 4pm today is charging 2/$3.70. The manager Mark says he doesn’t have to honor the sign because the price has changed. Any other store would have honored the displayed sign price because otherwise they are advertising falsely. Mark says it’s not false advertising because the prices changed. Mark knew the sign was there, yet failed to honor the price. That is deception. Shame on you Marathon and shame on Mark who claims as manager has no control to change the price to what is advertised by a large, eye level sign in front of a cooler of coke products!

I dont know why this particular marathon thinks that they are special and can tax and charge double for almost every product in their store. A pack of Swishers costs .99 at any other place, but they charge $2.22. I just really dont understand. Employees cant even explain why everything is twice as expensive than anywhere else, it feels like a scam to be honest.

I paid for car wash at the pump. The car wash was broken. My money was not refunded. When I politely asked the attendant about it, he became nervous and would not look me in the eye. He would not refund my money. He said he keeps the option to buy the car wash at the pump because people around here know how it works. I am not sure what that means. He said to call tomorrow during daytime hours if I want it refunded or to call my credit card company. I will have to think about which option is better for me.I think it unethical to allow people to pay for a service when they cannot provide it.

Best car wash in the area that is touch free, this marathon is LOCALLY owned. Anyone who has purchased gas/Tobacco etc understands prices are high. Due to the owner living in the area, he MOST likely does this because it’s the closest tobacco snack retailer to the many large dorms a block away. On that note he guesses that most students without car will just take the loss on the price and maybe try another place next time they go out. theories though just theories.Btw don’t buy your uh *cough tobacco wraps/sticks here. That’s the only real scam going on. $2.10 for two sticks is STUPID.

The manager Kurt is just aweful. I dont understand how he still has that job

I have been driving for 10 years. For the first time, I found that 89 gasoline was more expensive than 93 gasoline. When I finished filling up the gasoline, I had a bad attitude with the cashier inside. If I knew 93 was that cheap. Someone else would have added ninety-three. Bought a car wash on June 18th, car wash was not coming on so I drove around the building and went inside. There was a younger girl working but when I walked in she was doing homework and acted super annoyed that I came in,. I asked for a refund and she told me all refunds have to be approved by the owner. She took my receipt and wrote my number on the receipt and said the owner would contact me. I never heard from anyone, Two weeks later I went back in to find out the status of my refund. This time a man was working and when I inquired about my refund he asked for my receipt. I told him that the girl who worked there had taken it and he acted like I was lying to him. I told him I either wanted a refund or a car wash, He again took my number and said I would be contacted. on July 25th, OVER A MONTH LATER, still no refund. I call and ask to speak to the owner or for his contact info and I am told refunds are rarely given, he probably wont return your call This is UNACCEPTABLE. I am now disputing the charge for this car wash and I will NEVER return to this business! WORD OF CAUTION IF YOU DECIDE TO GO HERE!

The manager Kurt is super races, save your time coming to this marathon location. Called my Chinese friend offensive names with bad service provide, hes also the manager thinking he owns the place

Paid for a car wash at pump but did not receive the .25 cents/gallon discount. Attendant says its because I hit the save cents off button, which I really didnt know what it meant. Anyways they say I will receive a refund in about 5 days.Went ahead to get the car wash and waited about 20 minutes to get in because it is quite a slow car wash. Other than that car wash seemed alright, just be prepared to wait a while if their is a line.

There a guy name Kurt he very racist 😐and doesn’t like black people he always over charge and when I notice ,he said “you black mfs “ and proceed to throw my change on the floor I couldn’t even get gas at this point I just left after informing him of his behavior And racist remarks , also he’s the manager so I’m pretty sure the people who hired him are aware because they get complaints on the daily

Its happened twice to me now, and I wont go back... Paid for a wash and dry, the wash started, but never completed. This time, I spoke with the attendant, who said the repair guy was coming and that I could wait. I told him that I was on my way to work and he said there was nothing he could do.Also, not that its a big deal, but I had to go inside to get a receipt for the wash in the first place. Lot of things seem to be in various states of disrepair here...avoid this place!

Stopped here because of the low price listed on the sign, turns out its only if you buy a car wash. Its just annoying that they dont offer it at the pump rather than getting drivers when they cant read the small writing on their signs while driving.

Had to buy cheap iPhone cable for grandmother down the street. Turns out she already had one and forgot. Tried to return it 5 mins later and I was told I couldnt return it because I used it to just return it. Like I could charge a phone in 5 mins.
