Wasnt pleased with the job they did showroom shine is what theyre called well the only thing that was shining when I left was my car the detailing was awful to me I dont know anybody that was sell a car from a showroom that looks like this. This car wash left paint chips in multiple spots on my car. When I called the owner he immediately started screaming at me on the phone saying his car wash could never have damaged my car and that it was my fault. These paint chips were definitely not on my car before the wash. Wish I could give this place 0 zero stars due to a terrible quality wash and even worse customer service!

If you want the exterior clean, go for it. it does the fine job for its price. However, if you want the interior clean expecting detailing level vacuum and wiping, dont do it with the car wash. They dont clean /vacuum thoroughly, just a bit on the surface. They dont even vacuum under / side of seat, dunno honestly what they vacuum

Well I tried to use the wash my truck here and I checked online, they were open, all the signage on their doors and windows said they should be open but there was nobody around. Lights were off and doors were shut. Now I may not be a titan of business, but I would think if a customer shows up during normal business hours, you should probably be open...Now, as a disclaimer, it was July 3rd and was about 5:30 pm. Maybe they are closed for the holiday or have different hours, but if thats the case put signs in your windows stating your changed hours...Finally, when I tried calling them the phone just rang and rang then went to a default, factory programed outgoing message. Youre a business, you need to have a real outgoing message with hours of operation and changes to said hours. This is basic business 101 stuff...I guess the quarter car wash will be getting my money. I had high hopes of this place, and I am obsessive about keeping my truck clean. Strike 1, your out...

Been a star club member for years. Usually very happy. Sometimes I need to stop and dry my car off a bit more and occasionally I’ve had some issues, but for the most part, my car always looks so nice when I leave

I’ve been here about 4 times now and honestly I’ve been disappointed every time. Unless your getting a detail your car will not be be cleaned properly. I always get the platinum package and today they didn’t vacuum my floors or seats. As you can see the outside of my car is still VERY dirty on the rear view mirrors and the front and back. The need stronger soap or something because I have a brand new car and there is no reason my car looks like this after getting the best package. I also have had my car detailed here and that’s the only time I felt like my car was actually decently cleaned.

Im 3/3 for bad experiences with the detailing crew. Overall very rude people and refused to fix the smallest of marks and scratches on my vehicle. If you guys cant do the work you advertise then remove it from the list. The car wash is nice and convenient but there is always a film on my window that never seem to come off after my wash.

Went here for a car wash. Was looking for somewhere to have my wheels wiped down along with a wash. The kids working hit my car with the air hose they were using to dry it off first of all. Secondly they only put tire shine on one side of my car. The following day I return to talk to them about this. I get stuck having to hear about this guys religious views and his old Buick park ave for 20 min. All for him to spray water on my wheels and tell me they’re done. I was considering them for detailers since I have my car fully detailed twice a year but I’ll never return to their business again after that experience. I also notice on here the owners like to thank the good reviewers but don’t ever try to make things right with the bad reviewers. As a business owner myself that looks very bad for your business.

$10 for a good carwash, $15 for the manager special. Cant beat it

The manager was extremely rude. We recently bought a newer car and were still figuring it out. We got stuck on the conveyer. My wife could hear the man insulting us and swearing through the glass. Way to be classy!

Of the three attendants at the entrance, one remained seated and glued to his phone the entire time my transaction was being conducted. Another employee took FAR TOO LONG to process my card, only to have the audacity to have yet another employee ask me for my PIN number (Mind you I’m in my car and my card’s not in my sight) because he didn’t want to, or know how to, run the card as credit (it has a MasterCard logo). At that point, I gave them a credit card, and they STILL took more time than needed (From my mirror, I could see them conversing back and forth). At the end of the wash, there were still several bug stains on my windshield that no one tried to remove (I removed them EASILY, once I got home) and you could easily see where spots were missed with the towel dry. Also, the towels used left red fibers on the entire car. I know they won’t miss me as a customer, but it’s worth saying that was my first and last time using their services.

Good service! The guys are nice and polite.I had an issue with my gift card one time and they resolved it the next day. I had to leave the card with them and pick it up the next day!The thing that bothered me is when I was not able to use my gift card they said theyll waive the charges of the car wash for the inconvenience, but later charged the gift card after the issue was resolved!!

Scratched my paint deep and said it was my fault. Made no effort to console or correct after weeks of follow up. Will avoid just due to how the owner dealt with the situationEdit: Had to go recently because my favorite touch less wash was oos and I didn’t have time to hand wash.They didn’t use the brush on my car this time which I assume had rocks in it and is what scratched my paint last time. Also pretty sure they only pre-rinsed off half my super dirty car before it went through. No standard operating procedures at this place. Regardless, the owner or whatever employee happens to say they’re the owner will have no remorse if your car is damaged there and there’s a reason this place has 3.6 stars yet looks nice on the outside.Aaaand no masks in sight.

Poor. Only one side of my car seemed to have gotten cleaned especially when it came to my tires. It was so noticeable to have polished tires on my driver side and dull dirty tires on my passenger side . I still had dead bugs on my front end and windshield. I opted for the platinum package because I wanted a clean car. Sadly it didnt look much different than prior to bringing it in. Keep in mind I drive a 2020 and it wasnt very dirty to start.

Good job detailing the exterior of the car. However the interior job wasn’t worth the price at all. Dust all over dash and still residue on the cup holders. And mind you I take excellent care of my car, no dog, eating, regular vacuums, etc. They charged me $100 to clean the carpet of my tiny Lexus IS and wipe down the seats

I have been a loyal customer at Showroom Shine ever since I received my driver’s license, nearly 15 years ago however, I’ve noticed a rapid decline in the service (work appearing rushed through, missed vacuuming, etc), culminating in what was my last and final visit to Showroom Shine. After bringing my Chevy Equinox in for its routine Platinum Wash I found, after hitting the road, that my passenger air bag button was missing from my dash. Realizing it must have been knocked out or accidentally vacuumed up, I reached out to Showroom Shine immediately to let them know. The gentleman I spoke with took down all my information and the make and model of my car and said he would get this resolved and promised to call me back after looking further into it. He never called back. Again, I reached out to Showroom Shine, this time speaking to a gentleman named Tony who could not seem to care less ab the issue with my car, or the lack of resolution or communication I had yet to receive. Like the first man I spoke with, he took down all my information and make and model of my car and promised to call me back. It has now been nearly 2.5 weeks and I have yet to receive a call back or the resolution I was promised. I made a special trip from Kalamazoo (where I now live) to make sure I got my car taken care of by (who I thought) was the best in the business, Showroom Shine. I will not make that mistake again. On top of being a most frustrating and awful experience, it has also been a very expensive experience as, due to the poor service I received, I will now have to take my car to the dealership to be fixed. I do not recommend Showroom Shine and will be taking my elsewhere in the future. and

I unfortunately had a disappointing experience. I got an interior/exterior detail (everything except the engine). When I made the appointment a week ago I told the receptionist there was a TON of dog hair and I was quoted $180-260 depending on my vehicle’s size and how dirty it is. I have a regular schmegular Fusion so I was thinking maybe $200-230 at absolute most. Over 6 hours after dropping it off I got the call it was ready. I saw my car was pulled to the front with the doors open (I assume drying) so I checked it out before going to pay. My doors, cup holders, seats, and windows were still dirty and dusty. The ceiling was not touched at all. Which is ridiculous after 6 hours. There was dog hair in all the cracks still. I told the receptionist I wasn’t satisfied and she had Tony help me to point out the issues. So I did. He cleaned everything I pointed out including easily getting the stains out of the ceiling. This was BEFORE I knew they were actually now charging me $275 because of “excessive dog hair” I had already told them about beforehand. $15 isnt a big deal but I find it hard to believe they truly feel $275 is a fair price for the job they did not the first time, but the second time. Especially not even touching under the hood. Tony tried telling me they are the cheapest detail in Lansing (this is false) but they sure did clean like they were. Was going to tip even though they did not clean my car the first time until the man was rude, arguing with me, and just annoyed he had to keep cleaning my car. Also I have leather so all the dog hair was on the floor. Not a lot had to be removed from the seats or doors. While paying and discussing the price with reception she told me the girls up front have no idea what the price will be and the guys in the back decide that so I am unsure of why employees with no knowledge of cost are quoting customers when making appointments. Won’t be going back. Realized the tops of my windows were all still dirty after I left. But the worst part was by far the lack of responsibility or an apology. Bad customer service, and bad attention to detail in my DETAIL I paid $275 for. Now I’m going to go clean my windows.

Last time when I cleaned my car with this business, everything was good, but today The service was very bad and not professional, Every part was dirty adding the carpet and they took high price. Really they did not do anything. I came back home and cleaned again by myself. They should return my money.Never I will comeback and advise others do not waste their money.😔

This was my first time here to have them clean out my vehicle and yes boys can be lazy but they tried their best but unfortunately they didn’t do the greatest job as I needed them to and I ended up going back and speaking with the manager.. He let me go back through for free but yet he was also rude and said he couldn’t get every inch because it was impossible even though they have all the right tools to pick up just some dirt off the floor boards and then I watched him b**ch at his employees like owned them but he doesn’t and they tried really hard to do it better the second time

Paid $25 and literally nothing was vacuumed ! I have pictures and a video to prove it . The only thing that was washed was the car . This is suppose to be a professional place because it’s in east Lansing a more higher up place . The workers are so grumpy that it’s just crazy .

I used to love coming here. The same crew was always here and knew how I liked my truck done. I never had to wipe my vehicle down after leaving. Star Club is a $25 wash and extra time should be spent making sure its done right.Ive had to take items out before they started. Today I took everything out and turned off the radio. Surprise surprise...I get in and the air-conditioning is blasting and my radio is on a rap station. Unbelievable!!Ill be taking my business elsewhere from now on.

Do not recommend.We recently bought the car which we thought should have a auto detailing. So we searched and find this with good reputation near us. But we were very wrong.They charge $100 for only interior detail cleaning. But all they did is just vaccum. Also they made scratches on one of the back seat side window.They were suppose to do shampoo on the seats. But all they did just vaccum. Dust in cup holders between both front and back seats were remain the same. AC and cd were covered with dust just as before. They even didn’t touch the stearing wheel. When my husband shout at them they rush with a soup spray and a towel to clean the stearing. Seat belt buckles were the same dusty as before.Beside behaviour of the stuffs were very rude. The receptionist didn’tsay a word when my husband were complaing. She just sent another stuff to check the car. They were simply denying their fault by saying that we weren’t on duty in the morning, we dont know who did the work. Well, we dont care who was and who wasn’t in the morning.We will never recommend this cheater shop to anyone. Dont go to this place. And if you go please check the car before you pay.Otherwise theyll keep your money with a very least service.

Showroom Shine from my experience is one of the worst car washes in the area. As a new customer, I had high hopes for the car wash when I pulled into the location. However, this car wash failed with flying colors. I paid $25.00 for a platinum wash. Any reasonable person would believe with the price they would receive the best results. Unfortunately, I feel ripped off and believe my car would look better had I ran it through an automatic car wash. When I received my car, it had dust in the inside in areas that should have been wiped if the employees cared about their jobs, respected the company, and respected me as a paying customer. The body and rims of my car were still dirty. I thought maybe it was hard for the employees to remove the dirt so I took my finger and ran it along the dirt spots. The dirt came off so easily, so why didnt the people I paid to clean my car feel the need to do what I paid them to do. By far a waste of my valuable time and money. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I am highly disappointed in Showroom Shine.

High end car wash. Very nice employees. They get the outside very clean but the red rags they use often leave residue on the exterior and interior. It is nice that they clean and vacuum the inside, but personally I touch up the inside because their rags leave steaks on the windshields and dash. I would not pay for the interior cleaning unless you are going to do a little work yourself to clean up after them.

I have been coming to showroom shine for 5 years, I detail my car 2-3 times a year because I have children.Over all Service quality has been going down, they are becoming very un professional when it comes to response to customer’s concerns.I just had a platinum cleaning , looks like it was not touched.I have lost a mat and a cup holder since I detailed my other car 2 weeks ago, went back to ask them, receptionist was very rude and called the owner , owner’s response was basically that it must have not been in the car.Keep in my mind again that it is not my first time detailing my car there.I do not think I will be going back unfortunately although location is very convenient.

Was in a tight predicament with a rental car and tony, one of the owners im pretty sure, came to the rescue!! Got the car detailed and washed in 30 min and even talked to the rental place for me just to be a help. If you guys see this thanks again!

Mark and his crew do a fantastic job overall. I have taken my cars there for the last 10 years.They need improvement on the following:- drying: cars are not completely dry and there is red lint on the body from the towels.- cleaning on the back: somehow the machines dont reach all the way to the bottom back of the SUV by the bumper/license plate area. Maybe this can tweaked so that it does for the taller vehicles.I have also had my cars detailed and they do a good job. Sometimes, it depends on who is doing the work. Some of the folks take their time and some want to get it done quickly. Maybe they can improve by training and being consistent so all workers do it the same, very thorough, way.Overall, they provide a good service and the prices are reasonable.

I had my car washed there today - purchased a $25 ‘Platinum’ wash with an extra $5 for tip. The exterior of the car was still filthy!! I pointed it out to the attendants - they wiped it down a bit more - but with dirty rags and just smeared the remaining grime around. I asked if they could put it through again. They took the car around back and wiped it down a bit more - didn’t re wash it. Ultimately there was still tons of grime around the door handles, the rear trunk and the front of the car. Mirrors and windows were all smeared. The $7 gas station wash is FAR better. Don’t waste your money!!

Convenient location, reasonably priced. However, the quality of the service depends on the students working on any given day.

They have great packages to choose from and staff is super nice. I just wish some of the workers would get the windows better and a few other small pieces of the vehicle when I come through. Owners are EXCELLENT to deal with and will do whatever it takes to make you happy.

My car came out clean, but was no where detailed enough to justify the money I spent. Totally not worth it.

Great detailing service! I dropped my car off in the morning for a complete detail and they had it done well before noon. The car is spotless and every inch inside and out was attended to, despite my car being very very dirty. They did better than I expected and are really worth the money. They even found an unused gift card and left it in my center console. Couldnt recommend this shop enough, will go here again for more services.

No masks on any of the workers greeting you. 20-something kid walked up and started talking me within a few inches. Stay away from this disease vector.

Just paid $20 for one of their more up-market wash packages. What a disappointment! The exterior of the car was still covered in water, and there was even water inside my car. Quite how, I dont know. The front bumper is still covered in bugs. Very little effort made. A sloppy job!

WORST CAR WASH EXPERIENCE EVER! I had the gold package which is outside wash and interior vacuum. I was satisfied with outside, I would say moderately clean HOWEVER, when they stepped in and vacuum my car, left wet footprints with dirt on my cream color mat. My back seats had dirty water all over them. So I ended up spending 1.5 hours clean all the mats and seats myself to get it back to original condition! Definitely not worth it! !!

So we just went through showroom shine getting our car cleaned and we realized that one of the attendants took my Best Buy gift card I had put out of sight in the door pocket. I went back and confronted them about it because we went to Best Buy right after the wash and knew that the card was in the door pocket right before they cleaned the car. They said a manager would look into it and call us back. We left and they called us back and told us an employee “found” my gift card on the ground. When we went back to get it the gift card, not only had it had been removed from its packaging, it wasn’t even wet. The ground in the car wash is always wet and if it had fallen out of the door it should have had some water damage to the package. It’s very disappointing to us because we love this car wash and the work they do. If you use this car wash take note of your items before and after.

Make sure they put everything back or its your fault. Had the car washed before leaving on a trip for a week. Noticed something wrong with the drivers floor mat, thought they had put it in upside down but was in a hurry to get to the airport. Forgot to check at the airport. Got back from the trip and noticed the mats werent in upside down- they werent in at all. All 4 BMW floor mats in brand-new condition. Went to Showroom this morning, April 19 (got in late last night) and told them the problem. The manager didnt even come out- was hiding behind his employee, pretty low. Went to talk to him and I was basically blamed for not noticing immediately, it is my fault I dont have floor mats anymore. Apparently they do this a lot since the employee checked in a pile they have for mine but didnt find them. Wont be going back here.

Did not think a in and out detail on a car did not include the engine bay like every other detail shop. Lesson learned.

I waited in line behind 5 cars for 40 minutes. I wasnt aware that other services such as vacuuming, dash & console cleaning and other services were done inside the car was Bay! BUT staff was excellent and wash was very well done!

Worst car wash experience ever. One of the attendants openly told a close friend of mine from out of state that he “hopes everyone from that state dies.” His actions made his other coworkers openly uncomfortable. He carried on the whole time while he was cleaning the car. He insulted my friend for the kind of car that she drove and just harassed her in general. The staff told her that the manager would call, but the manager never did and the situation was never remedied. To top it all off, they did a poor job washing the car. I wish I could rate them a negative 5 stars!

Car was washed a bit carelessly. Lots of spots in the interior and wet cloth was used to dry the car which left the body covered with wipe marks. Interior was just wiped but wasnt thorough. Lots of dusts especially at cupholders and such. I would think twice about coming here. I give 3 stars simply because they are inexpensive and quick.

Very disappointing. Took my Jeep in to have it detailed after winter. While the painted parts of the Jeep appear to be clean, not too happy with the rest.It appears that their version of detailing anything black on vehicle is to cover it with tire dressing. Im pretty sure that my wheels werent even scrubbed while they washed it. I believe they just covered it with tire dressing and wiped it down. On top of that, all of the excess they left on the wheels/tires flung all down the side of the Jeep.The so called Q-tip inspection is a joke. There were still dirty parts on the interior that I could wipe off with my pinky, so Im pretty sure a Q-tip could have fit.The worst part of all though, the spare tire that is located on the on the tailgate was not even cleaned! It didnt appear that any attempt was made to try and clean it. It had just as much dirt on it as it did when I dropped it off.While part of me felt I should go back and point out all of these issues that should not happen on a detail that costs this much, I just cant bring myself to let them touch any of my vehicles again. My wifes experience is arguably worse than mine since she has a brand new car, but you can read that in the review she is leaving right now.If you dont really care about the finish of your vehicle, this place is probably fine. If you even remotely care about your vehicles finish though, go somewhere else. It is laughable that this place touts themselves as a luxurious auto salon. Save your time, money, and vehicle by looking elsewhere.

Ive never had an amazing experience but youll get your standard car wash service. Sometimes dissatisfied with attention to detail on finishing up cleaning the vehicle (undried windshields, pre-spraying one side of vehicle and not the other) I normally get a standard wash but it does me good for what it is.

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.Paid $100 for interior service. Was told I needed to make an appointment and was quoted twice that the service would take one hour. Two and a half hours later, the car was ready.The car was not cleaned completely. Yes, they vacuumed and wiped things down, but the interior service includes: • Shampoo - top to bottom • Q-tip inspection • Window / door jams • Hand wash.The car wasnt shampooed top to bottom. The top of the inside of the car has visible dirt streaks still. There was a weird shiny liquid left in the cup holders and dashboard compartments. I wiped a q-tip to see what it was and the substance left the q-tip completely black. The windows also had grime left on them from where the rubber meets the glass.Additionally, after I got home, I found that the cleaners had removed two clips that held down my drivers side mat, and did not replace them. When I called back, the receptionist, who is clearly a teenager who knows nothing about anything, told me they could only find one of the clips but that the manager would give me a new one for free. So I drove 20 minutes back, to pick it up.When I asked to speak to the manager about how this was a pretty unacceptable job that I paid a good amount of money for, his response was that the job had been done and he would not refund me anything. I tried to explain that the job has clearly not been done, and that I was inconvenienced by having to drive 20 minutes back to pick up the clips. He straight up told me that I couldnt have been that inconvenienced because I returned.I will NEVER send anyone here and I will NEVER return. Completely unprofessional and a waste of money.

Horrible experience! If you have a nice car - DO NOT TAKE IT HERE! Save your money and your car. First of all - their version of a touch-less wash includes them scrubbing down all sides with a brush. When I ask for touchless that means do not touch my car. Also, I asked to not get the tire shine as that stuff can get all over your car. Once my car made it to the end to get vacuumed a kid about 14 yrs old hopped into my high performance vehicle and stepped on the gas. He hops out and his buddy not much older starts vacuuming the drivers side floor and began pushing the gas pedal with the vacuum making the engine rev multiple times. He and his buddies had a good laugh with that. Then one of the kids gets out the bucket o tire shine and begins to heavily coat one of my tires- I yelled out that I didnt want that and had him wipe it off. I realize this is a great first job for kids but you (owner) are putting too much responsibility in the hands of immature kids by allowing them to play with peoples expensive property. With a shop that is marketed as a luxury auto place - I would expect at minimum that I can trust it to take the ultimate care of my vehicle.When I got it home I noticed that there were spots where my car didnt even get clean - on the hood up by the windshield and on the back under the spoiler.I will never go there again and will tell everyone I know about my experience.

Vacuuming is not as thorough obvious areas were missed. They are not terrible just not the bestclean waiting area quick service, and loyalty program are pluses.

It is ok. I went there multiple times, and every time, i notice they do not pay attention to details, so I clean it my self!

I didnt care for the cleaning they perfomed. I paid for the Platinum package that included vacuum throughout and dashboard cleaning, but the interiors were full of debri still, and the dashboard was not wiped at all. I had to redo the whole thing when I got home. I will not come back.

Just got a interior detail done to get the smoke smell out of a used vehicle I just bought, it seems to be gone now and they did a good job overall.

Had a worst experience. The keys were misplaced. The doors of my car were all left open and were not even pulled out for me.When I stopped to check out how they have cleaned, all the cup holders had the food stains and dust. Seats were not cleaned. The mats were not in place and those were dump in my trunk, still wet.The owner response is,“Other than the cup holder what else was dirty.” “$80 was very cheap rate.” Never apologized for anything and spoke really rude.Employee response when I took the car again,“Issue was minor and the stains won’t be removed in any detailing.” I said my mats are “stain protected” for which he had no answer.

Wonderful car wash place.. Excellent workers.. Love this place

They put the wet floor mats on my cloth seats, this created huge wet spots on my seats. I am a Lyft driver and can not work now. They wiped it with a towel and said there you go. That was Mike, one of the bosses. Still all wet. Will NEVER return.

Rude and inconsistent.I was reccomended Showroom Shine and told they do a fantastic job, talked with one of the owners, Mike, who helped me understand how they do things, providing fresh water, clean of debris and whatnot. I thought this was the spot! Since then, my washes have been super inconsistent. I stopped in on a time crunch to get a wash before leaving for a trip, paid the $20 and ny back mats were never even touched. I called and spoke with Tony who was very rude and was like well what do you want me to do?? After getting me in the book for a free wash, i returned. Only to have excuses about still getting team members trained (which is something ive been told the last 3 times). Tony asked me why I would come back if I had such a bad experience...confused I asked the question again to the lady on register - she responded with i dont know and sat back down on her phone. Its unfortunate that Tony and most of the staff are so rude and dont care about their jobs. Looking for a new spot.

The only place I trust wash my car if Im not doing it myself.

Its not the cheapest car wash you can get, but they have a lot of options, and they do a good job.

Rude manager and staff, overpriced, rushed wash, I wasn’t satisfied with their cleaning since day one but I went back because they were the nearest to MSU campus. And never going back again. That’s basically my experience with showroom Not shine.

Floor mats are always slipperywhat man if you got a new a ride theres no better place to get your car washed no scratches its a beautiful thing

They did a good job considering how much dirt they had to deal with. However you could see places where they didnt even try to clean some of the windows.

Friendly and professional people, and they did a great job on my truck and on my wifes car. Recommended!
