I witnessed This postal clerk Sonya blatantly told a customer infront on me to find a different post office because shes not counting the money that the customer was using to purchase a money order. She then stated that debit cards exist. The customersaid the card would declined because of her daily limits. Sonya said that is not her problem. The customer begged her to please sell her the money order she said nope , then proceed to call the next customer in line which was me. I said to her that I have cash too she was, she said she will let it slide this one time but for me to use a debit card next time. Very rude and argumentative. Very disappointed.

I filled out a change of address in July and it was processed July 28 and I have yet to receive mail to my new address. Went to East Hartford and they sent me to Hartford which sent me back to East Hartford, run around and none can help. What do I do. Missing important mail and checks.

They always do their best here. It’s tiny, so the lines do get long. But the staff makes sure to properly assist everyone. I’ve been coming here about 10 years, never had a rude experience here.

I will never show up to this post office again , the two ladies working in the front were super rude. As people left they would make negative comments about them right in front of me . One of the comments the white lady made was ,about immigrants. Would not recommend going here !!

Ive been coming here for years! Great place and location. Very friendly! It can get busy every now and then but the line goes fast.

I received a package by USPS today, the content is worth over $500.00. The package was left at the curb next to my mailbox in the snow. Number 1 why would a package be left a the curb 300 ft from my front door??????We are expecting 6-12 of snow today. Are you kidding. This is not the first time this has happened and I have called and complained. I will be going back to Amazon and tell them i will no longer accept packages from them that are delivered by USPS. If USPS cannot handle package delivery I am sure Amazon can find a company that can. I am totally embarrassed for USPS.

I went there a week and a half ago letting the woman there know that there was an error with the labeling on a package that was sent. She was completely rude and insulted me saying I dont know the basics of mail. I walked out as she was so rude, went to the other post office in town where a different lady helped with no problem.

I mailed my save the date letters with magnets enclosed in the envelope. I am getting some of them returned to me with a slit on the side edge of the envelope and not magnet is in it. Looks like someone took a razor blade or a very sharp object to slice the envelope to take the magnet. I paid a lot of money for the save the date magnets for my upcoming wedding. So far, I have 5 people saying they received the letter but no magnet AND they noticed the slit (and no other damage to the envelope). I have stated in the letters the magnet is enclosed. When I originally went to the post office they told me there should be no problem sending the envelopes. I used to work in the post office, the Providence turn-key. I know the procedures and handling of packages and mail. If it the letter is unable to go through the machine, it should be handled in the pigeon holes by hand NOT machine. I spoke to the Post Master of Ellington and there was no course of action they can do about it, he says. I will need to file a complaint from the USPS website. The website is a JOKE! I did exactly what he instructed me to do. The website sucks! So now Im writing this review...

Very nice staff in office but the carrier is very unprofessional for my area and I believe he holds my mail back randomly when he chooses to, reason being because he’s upset cars are parked on street when it comes time for him to deliver but I have no control over who parks on the street from my understanding he’s supposed to get out regardless, multiple cars park on the street in my area if I find out he’s holding my mail back that will be a FEDERAL OFFENSE‼️

My package was somehow undeliverable and it is very time sensitive. I Cant get a live person on the phone. I have called 3 different numbers and they supposably open at 8am but why is no one answering the phone?

Horrible mailing service, I was suppose to receive my package on Friday but I didnt. The usps tracking said they left a notice because, I guess they needed a signature but there was no notice was left, nor did I get my mail for Friday. Saturday, I go to the post office to go pick it up and they said they dont know where my package is. Nor did they have a copy of the notice that was supposedly left in my mailbox. Also, the workers there is unappreciated. There was a line to the door, but one worker was having a continuous conversation with a customer and it wasnt about any mailing services. Only one other worker was taking all the customers and trying to get through them as fast as she can. Overall, I still didnt receive my package, nor did I receive another package.

They dont answer the phone, and they only come down my street. Once every 2 or 3 days. Why dont they raise the price of the stamp again,yeah that makes sense. They probably use that money to buy more signs that read. Next Window.

I found 3 neighbors mail and also mine scattered all over my street yesterday.Very dissapointed and mad!!!

They dont answer the telephone, they dont care. Terrible attitudes of carriers, this is a typical government monopoly. Will be so happy when email/etc., totally replaces this thinly veiled welfare system of incompetents.

Once again, I have an Amazon and USPS notice stating my package was delivered. Guess what its no where to be found! What a shocker Silver Lane East Hartford Post Office!

I am very displeased with this location. I have gone there several times for mailing items and is very unprofessional, rude, and very poor customer service. Today I went to the location to get my passport done and the gentleman at the counter said No I am going home in 15 minutes and it takes 20 minutes. I said the website says hours till 12:45 p.m. and the women behind the counter stated we dont have enough staff here to do them and you need to go to the Weston Street, Hartford Post Office. Never again will I go to this location for anything.

My package was supposedly delivered at 6:24pm yesterday, but its no where to be seen and when you try to email customer service you get no response!! What a joke!!

I dont appreciate having a drink for a postal carrier,whom on some days dont even get us our mail. Calling the east Hartford office on main street,I never get an answer...so sad these the ppl we trust with our important information

I mailed a letter on tuesday to go to enfield conn from 452 main street in east hartford conn it never got there >>I LOST MONEY IT HAD MY RETURN ADDRESS ON IT

I went there today to mail out packages to our troops and the lady at the counter told me they couldn’t do it because there was too many packages. She was extremely rude about it too.
