Duluth Event Lighting was amazing to work with! We enjoyed planning with Ken and were super impressed by the beautiful tented bistro lighting he and his team set up over our dining area. Ken was also super responsive and helpful throughout the planning process, despite needing to adjust our original plan, and were so thankful for the attention the detail and how beautiful everything came together.

First of all I would like to apologize for the late review. In May of 2021 my now husband and I had our Wedding Ceremony & Reception at Sacred Heart Music Center and the Duluth Event Lighting Team WOWed us! The Northern Lights/Aurora Borealis on the cathedral ceiling was breathtaking. The lighting during the ceremony and reception was magically and everything we hoped for. I would 101% recommend Duluth Event Lighting as they are very easy to work with. Thank You Duluth Event Lighting for making our special day even more special!

Ken/Duluth Event Lighting did an AMAZING job!! I live in California, so trying to decide on lighting for my wedding in MN and not being able to see it in person seemed like it was going to be tricky. Rest assured, Ken truly took great care of me. He helped answer all my questions and gave me great suggestions, and come the day of the wedding (still not meeting him nor seeing the lighting until just a little while before walking down the aisle...), he ended up matching the lighting perfectly to the color scheme of my wedding (blush, navy, rose gold and gold - I had a soft pink lighting (he called it a peach-ish color of pink)). Our wedding venue was astonishing. I am so happy we decided to go with Duluth Event Lighting. Thanks for making our day that much more beautiful, Ken!

Duluth Event Lighting provided beautiful bisto lighting for my wedding at a good price!

We were planning a wedding at one venue and Ken was excellent at answering our questions, having lighting photos at that venue and making suggestions. Our venue cancelled due to the pandemic and we decided to downsize the attendees and have it in our backyard. Ken and Michael were wonderful! They decorated the backyard, tent and deck with bistro lights making our event magical. When we had questions Kens responses were always very quick. My only regret is that I didnt take night pictures. Highly recommend this company.

We were very pleased with the lighting at my daughters wedding event. We had the white bistro lights, which were even more fantastic because they were on a dimmer. Ken was extremely easy to work and his price was affordable in comparison with other places.

Duluth Event Lighting was fantastic! We had to change venues and the amount of people at our wedding due to COVID-19 and they took the change in stride. We moved from an indoor large venue to a backyard on the hill, and the lights looked fantastic. Ken was friendly and responsive on email and happy to talk through different lighting options. Ken and Michael came exactly when they said they would to take down and put up the lights. Excellent professional service. Could not recommend them highly enough.

Ken and his team did an AMAZING at our wedding! We had the northern lights package and all I can say is WOW. What an incredible effect. His team is fast, professional, and prompt. This is one of those easy decisions in the wedding planning process. If you’re debating whether or not to hire Duluth Event Lighting, hire them. They are amazinggggg!! We got married October 3rd 2020, but had originally booked them for August 2021. Not only did we move our wedding up 11 months, but we also changed our venue location from Duluth, MN to Bayfield, WI. They were incredibly flexible and made sure to help us have the wedding we always dreamed of. They were so fun to work with and very fairly priced.Also... we had so many compliments on our lighting— it was stunning!Thank you for everything!!

Unfortunately our venue closed their doors aprox 65 days out from our wedding with COVID being around no local venues within our price range would book a wedding with the unknowns. I reached out 61 days and asked for a refund and received 35% back of our money paid.I understand non refundable but 65% of our amount is really not right.They didnt provide any service. Im sure if the day would have worked out I would have had no complaints, but I just dont feel like they handled this properly.

Friendly, knowledgeable about our venue, responsive to emails and the lighting was PERFECT! My daughters wedding and reception were both in the Greysolon Ballroom. We had soft white lighting for the ceremony, and switched to deep blue lighting for the reception. Ken was awesome to work with in the process of scheduling, setting up and advice. The woman who came to switch colors between the ceremony and reception was extremely helpful and pleasant. She helped us adjust our option for lighting behind the bridal couple at the head table. Highly recommend!

Ken did my lighting at Spirit Mountain in Duluth in October 2018. The lighting he provided was absolutely beautiful and really added to our decoration. The space of my reception was dim to begin with so the lights chosen brightened things up just right and was excellent. Ken was also lovely to work with and worked with my vendors and coordinators to help make our wedding a success.

I was so happy with the lighting provided by Duluth Event Lighting for our wedding. It completely transformed the room! I would highly recommend lighting for anybody considering it. We also rented light up branches for table centerpieces. It was so nice to not be stuck with a million centerpieces to take home with us at the end of the night. Ken is quick and efficient with the set up and take down of the lights and is wonderful to work with.

Overall we were very pleased with the lighting provided by Duluth Event Lighting for our wedding at Clyde Iron Works in Duluth, MN. The lights looked amazing and really set the atmosphere well. Ken was great to work with and I would say his strength is his willingness to make it exactly what you want – he’s very flexible. We met with him before our wedding and went through some of the colors and he was happy to create the customs colors we were looking for. The morning of our wedding he stopped and talked to both my wife and I separately to make sure everything was what we wanted. After the lights were set up Ken was happy to make last minute changes to ensure we were pleased with the look. Overall very impressed and would recommend!

Ken did an amazing job my wedding last month! He was easy to work with, the price was reasonable, and it made our space look incredible. We got so many compliments from our guests, it was the best decorating decision I made!

Duluth Event Lighting made our very simple wedding look out of this world. Although the Clyde Iron Works event space is already extremely cool in its own right, the addition of the lighting made the whole room radiate with a very cool energy which fit our wedding perfectly. Ken knew exactly where to place the lights in order to highlight the unique architectural space. This, in combination with the fact that Ken is just an all around nice guy with which to work, made decorating our wedding extremely low stress. Everyone raved about the venue and I really dont think it would have been as spectacular as it was without Duluth Event Lighting.

I would HIGHLY recommend Duluth Event Lighting! I just got married last Saturday and the reception was AMAZING! The lighting transformed the reception area into exactly what I imagined! All my guests were constantly commenting & complimenting how beautiful the lighting and reception was. I also ordered a gobo with my name and my husbands name on it and it was really the most beautiful focal point of the reception! If anyone is even considering doing up lighting I would do it!!! You wont regret going with Duluth Event Lighting! Ken was really great to work with, he made sure it was exactly how we wanted it and was efficient with the set up and take down! We were extremely satisfied! :)

Ken was absolutely amazing at communicating with me. The color options are nearly endless and the price is more than fair. He does great work and is on top of his game. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - I must say... These guys are amazing. There were several things that made out wedding experience with them fantastic. It all started with communication. They were super diligent and tactical with follow ups prior to the big day so we knew exactly what we were going to have. The most important though was the lighting itself. Greysolon ballroom is a great venue to start with, but Duluth Event Lighting made the venue simply remarkable. The lights perfectly complemented the amazing architectural features of the venue. Highly recommended!

Duluth Event Lighting did an amazing job at our reception in the Harbor Side Ballroom at the DECC in Duluth. I received multiple comments of how amazing the lighting was at the reception. The up-lighting was spectacular and really set the mood at our event. Ken was professional and worked with us to get us exactly what we wanted even though we werent sure exactly what we wanted to start with. He was very easy to work with and I would highly recommend working with him and Duluth Event Lighting for any event lighting you may need.

I have never seen such a beautiful touch to a wedding than the uplighting and monograms I had. I was stunned when I walked in to my reception. It added so much to the room and showed our personalities and love for each other. My husband didnt realize what a difference the lighting would make until he saw it. We got married in the Moorish Room at Greysolon Plaza in June, and Duluth Event Lighting did the lighting for our ceremony and our reception, and they also did a custom bogo of our names in an art deco style. It all looked sooooo amazing, and they fulfilled our vision to a T. Ken was great and so easy to work and plan with, and it was awesome that they have so many options to choose from. It was really helpful, too, that there were so many pictures of examples online and on Facebook. It made it much simpler to picture and choose what we wanted. The lighting gave our wedding that extra panache and ambience, and we are so glad that we chose Duluth Event Lighting. 😊😊😊
