We went in today to have our oil checked and topped off, The service was good but there is a female staff who is in charge who was not wearing a mask. She was the person to communicate to us and she did not keep her 6 feet distance when she approached our car. We waited in our car as instructed. The male attendant who checked our oil was very good but he had a mask on but did not cover his nose. Mask up people!

They have a professional and rapid oil change service with a full inspection and service tracking. We have all our cars oil changed here for many years. Others may be cheaper but not as high quality.

Very quick oil change, everything was looked at and completed in about 5 minutes max. Thats the oil change, fluid,and filter replacement. Every time I go to a jiffylube Im waiting at least 40 minutes. The pricing was a good value in my opinion as well. I also liked how everything was completed right in the little garage you enter from outside (the actual oil change, waiting area, ringing up, etc.) for convenience and to speed up the process. The guy was also able to fix up my bumper I was having trouble with. Probably the only oil change place I will go to now in the Duluth area.

This place was great! No appointment so I brought my car in for an oil change on a whim! In and out in less than 10 minutes with an oil change, tire pressure check, vacuuming, and windshield cleaning! Plus really nice staff! I highly recommend this crew and will be returning for my next oil change!!

Convenient yes, but not the best bang for your buck

Auto Ace has great service with fast turnaround on oil change and reasonable prices for premium (Amsoil) synthetic oil. There never seems to be much of a wait and they dont push extra services on you like some other places. Along with an oil change they check and fill all the fluids as well as check tire pressure.

These folks are always quick and do a wonderful job. Very helpful and surprisingly inexpensive for the quality of the work they perform. I love the no appointment needed aspect and the friendly staff. Customer for life, here!

Never use their service. They say they do good work but they don’t actually replace your oil. I have pictures and videos of the oil that they put into my car a when they “changed it”. I put good new synthetic oil in my car replacing the oil that they put into my car. The oil that they put in came out thick and black. This is awful service. Even the manager tried to fight that fact that they put used oil in my car when I showed him the quality of the oil. And he had the balls to slap the label of “oil change” on the receipt. Now they ruined my engine and it costs me $2,000 to replace the engine because these idiots who are getting paid minimum wage don’t know how to actually change the oil on a vehicle properly. Stay away!!!!

I have great service every time I have gone which is about twice a year for my Civic since 2012. Oil changes costs me about $40. They go above and beyond because they usually help with zip ties on my bumper if it is loose again. They always let me see the air filter and ask any questions about my car.

Ive been doing my own oil changes forever and have procrastinated just bringing cars to get done anywhere. I tried to change oil on a newer vehicle from the dealer recently and had a lot of trouble getting the oil drain plug out because it was so tight (almost stripped the plug). They got my oil change done in no time and since i had already purchased my own AmsOil they even allowed me to use that to save money on the first change. I think Im done doing my own oil, this was extremely convenient and reasonable.

Always fast. I have been going here for 10 years. Best part is these guys never pressure you or upsell you. You want an oil change, thats what you get. And they check tires, window fluid and more. Best in town, for sure.

Got an oil change from these guys 30 minutes ago. Best oil change ever! I am a 21 year old female college student and many shops in the Duluth area have tried to screw me over in the past. These guys really treated me well. I had been told by another shop that I needed to replace my alternator belt and that it would cost $300-500 to get my check engine light fixed, but Auto Ace did a complimentary check for me, turned off my check engine, and checked over my alternator belt while changing my oil (all under 15 minutes).I wont go anywhere but Auto Ace for an oil change from here on out. Auto Ace is great! The service you get is worth every penny. One time my wife and I came by and needed to get her battery changed, and Auto Ace got one from a local store and swapped it out and changed the oil in no time.

I used to go there 8 years ago, due to location of my work I quit going. My work location has changed and I am in the neighborhood again. I went there and again I am impressed. I KNOW that they inspect the filters, they vacuum the floor mats, they clean the windows. They DO what they say they are going to do and they are quick. Im glad Im able to be back.

Its really nice to see the same people at a business for a long time. the other day I stopped in because my maintenance light was on ( oil ) and they added a quart. I helped myself to a cup of good coffee and Marc offered me any desert out of the dognut box. when I asked to pay, they said no charge. the service is always the same here: Awesome! Thats why I continue to come back and recommend this business to my friends and family.

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. I brought my car to the shop next door because it needed a new part. Then my car was brought over to Auto Ace to get oil put in it. It was done within 10 minutes and they didnt charge me! They felt bad for my awful luck (I was leaving town that day for the holidays) and wished me a Merry Christmas. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Im not sure how this happened but I was due for an oil change this upcoming week after 6 months on March 12, 2016 I brought my car their for service. The service was fast and reasonably priced. I payed about $80 give or take $10 for full synthetic Amsoil. Anyway I check my oil regularly and have had no burning or leaking. I noticed a puddle under my car yesterday inspected the leak and noticed the oil filter was loose. I could unscrew the smooth filter by hand mind you it was coated in oil not an easy task. I have no idea how I went 6 months with no issues. I was trying to find some excuse of how a properly tighten oil filter could become so loose. I cant find a good reason so my only conclusion is that the technician never properly secured the filter. I was panicked because it appeared on the dipstick that I could have drived up to 400 miles before noticing this. I could have destroyed my engine. It seems to be fine now but I am keeping my fingers crossed

I brought my car in for an oil change when the Service light came on. I always expect upsell pressure when I get my oil changed. They told me that since I had Amsoil (synthetic) oil, that it wasnt due for another 2500 miles. Instant loyal customer!

Told the guy who was running cash register, 4 times total, to make sure they reset my car after the oil change. He kept saying yeah we will. I said you know what I mean right? He said yeah yeah. I also had asked him if they do many prius and of course he said yes which I find hard to believe. When finished I said it again...did you reset my computer? He said yes. I got in car and pulled outa bay and immediately knew it was not reset, so I parked in a parking lot and reset it myself. They clearly dont know enough about cars to be performing jobs on them. I guess he also thought since Im female I wouldnt notice and that I dont know anything. Ive driven semis my whole life and have had to do much of the maintenance on them myself, as well as I have worked on my own cars since I was a teenager. This place needs to hire more knowledgable people to perform car maintenance.

I was told I needed new wiper blades. I agreed. They put too small a blade (12 in vs 14 in) and didnt tell me. Go somewhere else. Very expensive as well.

I got Amsoil in my car when I cant change it myself (gravel driveway that I do not trust) so that is nice, but word to the wise youll pay for it. I ended up paying about $76 for a gallon oil change. Lets do some math, at non-dealer discounts you would pay about $9.40 for the filter and $27.86 for one gallon (thats from buying a 30 gallon drum to add a quantity discount in there). That leaves about $39 to cover labor expenses. At dealership level labor rates that amounts to about a half hour of work for something that took ten minutes. Really I shouldve only had to pay in the realm of $55-$60. They do take advantage of the Amsoil premium and sell Mobil One at even higher rates because they say they dont buy it in bulk. I was told Amsoil was bought in bulk.As much as I love Amsoil I wont ever get an oil change from here. Kinda bummed though, I really want to get an ATF change with Amsoil and theyre the only ones who do it.
