This was my first time renting from here and the service was quick and friendly! It is a great group of individuals working there. I rented a wet saw for a small retaining wall project and it worked excellent. I didnt compare any prices elsewhere but it seemed reasonable. I would definitely rent more equipment from them in the future.

Called ahead to give them a heads up because I knew Id be arriving at closing time. After driving 30 minutes, showed up 5:30:20 (closed at 5:30). They refused to rent to us. Very frustrated as we were trying to help elderly friends while we were in town visiting them. Unwilling to budge.

Rented Stump Grinder, this was my second rental. I first rented a trencher. Both times the equipment was newer and top quality. The rental process was fast and easy. The counter and yard staff are prompt and professional. I will rent from them again.

They rent the best mini skid steer by Ditchwitch! Bathrooms have soft toilet paper also.

Great Rentals! I Love the Split Fire log splitters! So Inexpensive & well maintained, I probably wont ever buy one! Rent on a Saturday for an extra day free! (they are closed Sundays). Helpful & Friendly staff! Have never had the slightest problem, but am always assured by employees to just call if any issues arise & they will immediately make it right! Log splitters can split wood in both directions! Never seen that anywhere else & it practically doubles the amount you can split quickly & easily!

Very helpful place. Load up equipment and attach trailers for you. Gave me a hitch for my truck after they had run out. Technically were supposed to sell me one.

Quick and helpful staff finding the tools we need

I called twice to reserve and confirm my auger. Twice they quoted me $100 less than the actual price, so i paid more than I was expecting. They didnt communicate with me how i would be transporting the item. I assumed truck bed, they had a trailer. Thank goodness we had a hitch. They also didnt provide me with the everything I asked for. I assumed that my requested extra attachment was already on the machine, but nope. They forgot it.

Extremely helpful loading the equipment, the excavator rented did the job of resloping my back yard and pulling out my old fence beautifully. Will be going back if I need equipment again

Nick, Jerry and company always work hard to make sure I am satisfied with my rentals. They take the time to train you on how to use the equipment and point out the not so obvious features of their machines so they can be used to their max potential. I have always been very pleased with my service at London Road Rental.

We stopped here to rent a wheelchair for my sister. The staff were very professional and courteous. They even brought the chair out and loaded it into my vehicle. I would highly recommend using them for any rental needs you may have.

Rented out a piece of equipment, got it to the site but the machine would not turn on. We tried a few different outlets but no luck. When the machine was brought back we were met with arguments and anger because apparently we should have already known the machine was *not* going to run using an extension cord. They did not tell us prior to renting the machine that is will not work using an extension cord, we were not aware, and they refused to refund.

Rented a car dolly and told them what kind of car i was towing. It didnt work called them and returned in about an hour. Didnt give me a refund cause they said it was my fault even when i told them exactly why i was renting it what it was being used for. Zero stars

I rented a post hole auger on a Friday and was told to bring it back by 5 pm Saturday. On Saturday I tried to return it but the sign on the door showed that they close at noon. I couldn’t get ahold of them until Monday and was told to bring it in and the would get me taken care of. They proceeded to try to charge me for three days and when I argued they said it should be 4 days somehow. I managed to only get charged for a total of two days after some explaining. The guy was very condescending and said he wouldn’t have said to have it back by 5 but I didn’t pull that from thin air. He told me that he already closed up his shop so he told me I had to help him haul the machine around the back of the building even though it was within their business hours. I’m just a homeowner needing to dig a few holes and should have to argue to keep from being dinged 400$ for an hour of machine rental. London road rental used to be better from what I hear but from talking to a few people it seems they have been going downhill in the customer service department.

We rented tables and chairs from London Road Rental Center for our daughters wedding. Since the wedding was in Lutsen, we used one of their covered trailers to take the items up north. They preloaded all of our items before we arrived. Our numbers were constantly changing and Matt couldnt have been more accommodating and encouraging with the whole wedding planning process as well! They were incredibly flexible with pickup and drop-off. I would not hesitate to recommend them and to use them again!

Good place for anything you need! Friendly staff and helped to carefully load and unload a Billy Goat Weed Eater in my truck. No problems with the machine we rented. Pro tip: I did a day rental on a Saturday, since they are closed Sunday the return date is Monday. :)

Helpful knowledgeable staff. They had the high end stump grinder I was looking for. The price was higher than other towns but they were the closest location. The grinder blew hydraulic fluid about 2 hours into the grind. Equipment is going to break down and everything cant be predicted. We had to return it and pick up a different one, two and a half hour round trip. They gave us more time to finish our job and dropped the cost of the rental. I would rent from them again.

Rented a ladder on a Saturday morning and was told that it was okay if I didnt return it until Monday morning, a one-day rental would suffice. I was able to get it back before the end of the day on Saturday, and they knocked the rental down to a half day and refunded the difference. That was not necessary but was a very nice thing to do. I would not hesitate to rent from them again in the future.

Great people. We misplaced the sandpaper on a drum roller rented over the weekend. When we brought it back unused thinking we never got the paper they cheerfully removed all charges. Later we returned the found paper. Very friendly and helpful, giving operation tips on tools as well.

I rented a large trencher. The unit was new it worked very well. The staff are all friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, both at pickup and drop off. Nice selection of equipment. Prices are higher but not out of this world. I will rent from them again.

I can only speak for the time we got a pressure washer, 1st off it was older model heavy as you know what, 2nd it was clogged with mud took around 30 minutes unclogging it, and to top it off the pull rope broke 45 minutes later, by the time we exchange it for another, 2 1/2 hours gone, Not sure how they compensated the guy that rented it in the first place, but for the crew using it was a total bummer . Im sure due to how busy they are it was a simple over sight.
