Hey guys Id like to expose these guys for you! My name is Av I worked at this location for 2 months. Worst 2 months Ive ever had! Anyways this place is the biggest scam ever why I know this because I was the tech there. They sold multiple cars things they never needed and none there has any vehicle knowledge. They also steal and lie to there customers daily please guys for not take your car here you are getting ripped off. Oh and they smoke weed while working on your car! Have a lovely day guys stay away from them and go to the Goodyear next door way better!

The manager there named Israel is very unprofessional and rude. Does not care about customers and will openly admit that. Charged me over $1200 to have my motor mounts replaced and kept insisting that my tires needed to be balanced to make engine vibration stop. Highly recommend you take your business elsewhere. This Midas location is just a big scam.

Called in at 9 and had an available appointment at 10 I will say the service was really quick was done by like 10:30 so they pulled in the back will most definitely go back

Joe at Mighty Muffler is definitely one of the most honest mechanics Ive ever encountered. I went to several other locations before stopping at the Mighty Muffler on Crogan St. and let me tell you... Theyve all tried to sell me a new muffler system or parts that werent needed. Joe utilized my existing parts for a low cost and had me up in running and no time. I had to leave a review on my experience because its not often you come across a establishment where theyre more interested in creating long time customers versus making a few extra dollars. And might I add this was a 17ft box truck so he could have easily took me to the bank. Thanks again Joe!

I would absolutely recommend this place. My car battery died in the parking lot. I called them and asked if they can jump start it and they were very helpful. Come to find out my battery expired 2 years ago. They offered to jump start my car and provided me a brand new battery at a reasonable cost. Anytime I am in Duluth I will definitely stop by for any future repairs.

I loved everything about my visit.. I was given a estimate before they started my service, got all my questions answered for my future service and when I was done the associate gave me feedback about my vehicle and suggestions about what to consider for my next visit. They even aired up my tires AND my spare!!! Never had that done. Awesome touch. Highly recommend

Well as time goes on so does the service. This location was taken over by corporate and as expected the service and prices changed. They dont accept coupons anymore nor mail them and seem proud that they have higher rates. And the cool guy that was helpful after a year almost of oil changes is gone. Went down the street to Precision Tune probably get the same service kinda fast and less cost.

As a woman, I felt safe and comfortable in the waiting area. Even though the shop was full, service was quick. First of all they are very slow. The coupon for oil filter is very misleading do not go here. The black guy with all the earrings Kenny cursed at me and his manager said he didnt hear it. They changed my oil and when i left i had a tire pressure indicator light and they tried to tell me it would go away when i started to drive. it did not. i called to say i would bring it back and they tried to tell me it was already on. i saw that they were having problems clearing the oil change indicator in which they turned on the pressure light. the manager Tookie was absolutely no help and rude. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Especially ladies!

I did the diagnostic on my which was 100 that was waved if they did the work ,so then the mechanic calls I tells whats the problem is and that he can fix it cool,calls me back and said the car will be done around noon so we gets there the mechanic says that the car is fixed and ready to go so I asked him is the squeaky noise gone and he said yes so I drive off and immediately I hear the noise louder than before mind you I just paid $433 dollars for something is doing the same thing it was doing before I dropped it off then he said just leave it here for a hour or so and let me check it out,we come now he tells me its something else and I would have to buy a part that cost $400 plus labor so I said thats some bull cause we had a diagnostic done so there wouldnt be any guessing plus the labor on original fix was $300 and the parts were $40 a piece at this point Im mad as hell now he suggested that I get the new part for $326 his cost and he would ear the labor so I said cool

So a couple weeks ago I went to Midas (the one in Duluth) for an Oil change for my car since the Walmart Auto-section was closed. And I have to say, It was the best service Ive ever gotten. People were super nice, Told me whats up with my car and what I need to work on in the future, filled up all fluids and stuff. Eventually, Im getting another car, so Ill most definitely be going back there with my new car :)

They tried to charge me way too much to install a catalytic converter do not recommend this place

This place is complete rip off. Took a vehicle in for pre-purchase inspection. They inspected and notated as below in pictures. Exhaust Leak, Cracked Heat Shield, A/C Not blowing cold, body damage, and oil leak (oil plan). They quoted these repairs at $2000+. Right after the inspection I took the supervisor to the car and told him to put his hand on A/C vent and asked him, How is the air? He stated he inspected the car himself and it wasnt cold before, but now the air is ice cold all of a sudden. Then he walked off without any comment. I took the vehicle down the street to Honda and had another inspection done knowing something was fishy about MIDAS. Honda didnt find half of the problems this MIDAS notated and pointed out obvious things MIDAS missed like Radio not working and front brakes low. No exhaust leak found, AC working in excellent condition, and no major oil leaks. Even Honda didnt tally up $2000 repair bill for what MIDAS quoted.Not sure how many innocent unacknowledged people this company is ripping off like this. Have the power of knowledge on your side. #neveragainMIDAS.

Theres a special on the Internet that says 4999 oil changes dont even look at that clearly this minus does whatever they wanna do. I called the Alpharetta location with the car make and model that I have they said they will honor my deal and they had the filter in stock. I called the Duluth location he said hes not honoring my deal he does not have the filter it was gonna be more.I asked him could I bring the filter he said no hung up on me... poor customer service.Do not go to this location especially if you are a woman. Then a manager called me back and said well I dont know what you want me to do about... how about you fix it.... how bout honor the prices on the website.

Terrible service. I had an emergency this morning (01/21/21) and called at 9AM- No response. I called at 11 am still no response. I guess they dont take phone calls so Ill just take my business elsewhere.

My wife had a flat tire the morning of a Dr.s appointment and we needed a new tire ASAP. Its an uncommon size that required special order everywhere else, but only took about 30 minutes to order to Midas! It was a tremendous help to a very stressed pregnant wife!

I used their website twice to get a virtual estimate on some repairs and havent gotten any follow up from them. I hate having to go to an auto repair shop to waste a ton of time before finding out I have to spend an arm and a leg for repairs followed by another waste of a ton of time waiting for it to be finished.

New staff and apparently new ownership. Used to love coming here, but wont be back after the attitude we got today and were told they now refuse to change brake pads without additional services.

Had a coupon for a $49.99 full synthetic oil change and tire rotation they charged me $65.47 and didnt even do my tire rotation wasnt even on my receipt and I watched them the entire time they never touched my tires. Will never return

I am so livid right now. I took my car to this location in February and had them replace my exhaust manifold, which cost me over $1000. The next day I started my car and it sounded horrible. We drove it to the shop, which is less than a mile away, and was told they forgot to tighten the screw for the O2 sensor. When leaving, we realized the service engine light was on and my husband took it back. They told him they forgot to reset the light. About 2 days later the light came back on. My husband took it back and we were told we had a faulty O2 sensor. We purchased the sensor and they replaced it. This cost us another $200. The next week, the light came back on. My husband took it back and they reset the light. A week later the light came back on. My husband takes the care back and we were told that the sensor we purchased was defective. We wanted to get another opinion because we have never had issues with the car prior to this. We took it to Nissan and Meineke who told us Midas welded over the area where the sensor should go. They placed the previous sensor in the incorrect area. I am so livid right now! I will be writing a complaint. I understand mistakes happen, but we took our car back to them several times and NO ONE told use what happened. This caused us to pay more money out of pocket. This is unacceptable. Please DO NOT take your care to this place!

I had a very positive experience at this Midas! My husband and I brought my car in on Tuesday morning to have the rotors and break pads done. Unlike Sears, which wanted to quote us over the phone without even looking at the car, the Midas technician, Brian, actually LOOKED at the car before telling us what needed to be done and how much it would cost. Brain was incredibly helpful and courteous; not one of those technicians who looks for stuff to fluff out the bill! He did let us know that our rear rotors would need replacing soon, but in no way pressured us to feel like we had to do it immediately. The fantastic customer service we received at this Midas guarantees that the next time we need work done on our vehicles, this is where well go!

Went in for a diagnosis for a trouble code (p0171 lean condition) typically this means there is a vacuum leak somewhere. Was charged $100 for an incorrect diagnosis they wanted to replace my intake manifold and valve cover gasket and charge me 1.2k for the job. I took the car home and checked for leaks myself and it turned out the leak was coming from a faulty pcv valve. Replaced the part and car is running great. Moral of the story is dont trust this place they wont take their time to diagnose your car correctly, and will sell you anything to rack up the bill, and the chances of the work being done coreect are probably slim to none.

I never leave reviews, Im just too busy but after reading a few negative reviews I almost didnt come to this Midas, Im glad I didnt let a few comments keep me away. Im the most picky person when it comes to my cars so for me to trust anyone to do anything is very difficult. The entire staff was fantastic, it was even on a busy Saturday morning, I needed some custom things done that I couldnt do myself (Im a mechanic but not for a living anymore) the manager could have easily told me no they cant do what I needed and sent me away, but he took on the challenge. Then after the work was completed in LESS time than he estimated, he then turned around to charge me...to my surprise, $50 less than he quoted me, Yes I said, LESS than the estimate ! The few negative reviews most likely come from people who just cant be pleased no matter what the situation, and/or bring in cars that just are beyond repair and expect a miracle for little cost. I Will return to this Midas in the future and if your in need I would highly recommend them.

After the Ford dealer identified my catalytic converter to be done for, I took my truck to Midas. The owner and operator, Tom was very helpful. They went above and beyond the typical assistance. When a part was not going to be delivered until after 12:30pm, they went out of their way to pick it it up. I was back on the road by 10:30. thank you Tom and Dave Llewellyn. And thanks to the crew at Midas.

The person who greeted was hesitant to answer my questions then told me there was a 2hr wait for a free tire inspection. He acted as if he didnt want to help thats a bad look for midas I go to them for everything guess they dont want my business

I received exceptional service at Midas. The technician was honest, straight-forward, friendly and quick. I went to Midas after a dealership down the road quoted me $650 for two new calipers without taking the wheels off of my vehicle. Midas found that the calipers were not properly lubricated after the pads and rotors were replaced and charged me $45 for the necessary cleaning and lubrication. I highly recommend getting your car serviced at this location.

Im done with these guys. Came in to get a power steering pump replaced. I had all the parts and they told me 6 hours and 700 bucks for the labor.... BMW said the repair takes 2 hours max. Took the car to an independent shop and, guess what, 2 hours. I gave these guys a second run after they tried to overcharge on an earlier repair. I hoped things had changed, they havent. You will absolutely waste money working with these guys. Avoid this place like the plague.

After leaving here I felt uneasy about how my car was worked on so I took it to a dealership I used to work for, and this shop in a box place seriously messed my car up. Like, stuff started falling off of it. Do not bother going here, they are scammers.

Came here yesterday to ask if they could do my brakes because they closed at 6 and I was getting there at 5. I was told they probably could, as Im waiting I hear the guy I talked to (who Im assuming is the head mechanic) yelling at someone to be careful. Later he comes back in and tells me they need to order the pads for my jaguars rear pads and the total cost came out to over $400, I had to pay a $150 down payment. As Im waiting for them to pull up with my car the mechanic comes to me with my jaguar emblem saying that it fell off when the hood was raised, and try to insinuate that it was jiffy lubes fault because I had a sticker that showed I had just got my oil changed there, I looked at the piece that secures the jaguar emblem and it looked like it had been slashed. As the guy hands me my keys he says your engine light is on and everything which made me uncomfortable because he said it as if it were a setup for some future repairs they were going to introduce later. I decided to just suck it up and get my brakes done at the dealership, Ill be calling later and hopefully for the sake of customer service theyll refund me my $150

I started going to Midas in Columbus Ga and when I got out of the military they referred me to the Duluth location. Ive been coming to this location for over 5 years and they are almost like family. Even better is that they know my car. I love in ellenwood so I drive over 30 miles to get to them because of the great service and atmosphere. Ive tried the Midas in Conyers, which is closer, and I had to call the Midas customer service line the experience was so bad. Ive also uses the Midas on Northside dr (only because theyre open on sundays) but they have an awesome crew as well.All in all I trust the Midas mechanics in Duluth with my car. I have a 2005 Lincoln aviator with over 150,000 miles on it and she runs great. I reccomend the Duluth Midas team to anyone who needs vehicle maintenance.

Over priced

I brought my Mustang in one morning when the check engine light came on while I was on my way to work. Within an hour, the car was checked, diagnosed, and on the way to a repair. The 2 gentleman that assisted me were patient, polite, and throughly explained the issue and the repair. Great service experience! I’ll definitely bring my car back in the future.
