I had the upper part of my old chimney removed and new furnace exhaust duct installed by Black Goose. They arrived when they said they would or called to let me know if they were delayed. Communication from the office was excellent. Dave and his partner worked very hard through two of the hottest days of summer. They thoroughly cleaned up the house before leaving. Not the cheapest guys in town but the price was fair considering the job was over an hour from their shop.. I would use them again.

Black Goose once again did a fantastic job. I wish there was a 10 star rating for a company like this. They were professional, courteous, and they kept the house clean when they inspected and swept our chimney. Black Goose Chimney and Duct is one of the best companies I have ever worked with. When I purchased my new home, one of the first things I did was had the chimney inspected and cleaned. Jim and his crew first came to my house and gave me a bid on the inspection. After agreeing on the price his crew got to work cleaning and inspecting my chimney. They did a fantastic job. I felt comfortable with everything that they did and they educated me on each step that was necessary, plus they even left the place cleaner than when they arrived. The crew from Black Goose did an awesome job removing an old wood stove, replacing it with a new wood burning insert, and putting a new liner in our chimney. The insert is the centerpiece of our newly remodeled family room, and everyone complements us on it. Highly recommended!!!

I left 3 voicemail messages and sent one email requesting service and never even received a return call from this joke of a company. In fact, the third voicemail I left I even had to ask if they are still in business. From their lack of response, I would assume theyre not. I ended up going with another company and will NEVER recommend Black Goose. Extremely unprofessional. I am a professional business woman; if I never returned phone calls, that would be my job-done. You think your company is so successful that you dont need to return phone calls? Wait until word gets out- one unhappy person is all it takes.

They do excellent work. And they clean up the work site in and out of door.

Some of the kindest people I have ever met! So knowledgeable and they genuinely care about their customers.

Had an inspection done on my fireplace at the end of August (inspection with no camera....just a flashlight) along with cleaning of a small wood burning fireplace at the cost of $500. I was told to expect a quote for work needing to be done and after a month I called looking for the quote. Two weeks later I called again. I finally got the quote and it was vague at best with not much more than a $215/hr notation and some we may or we might kind of wording. I called again asking for clarification and havent heard back. The ladies in the office are kind but I am moving on. I have never had to work this hard to try and give someone my business. I am afraid of how this speaks to the quality of their work.

Truth be told, I have no need myself for Black Gooses services. That said, Ive been associated with owner Jim Suttie through networking and service organizations (BNI and Rotary) for five or six years now. More truth be told: I have heard countless testimonials from people of integrity who have used Black Goose themselves or who have referred them to people they know; I have heard nothing except five star feedback of peoples experiences with the company. More personally, my experience of Jim Suttie is of a top-caliber individual in regards to his professionalism, integrity, commitment and compassion. Jim leads by example and his company clearly does likewise.

Hired these guys to come out ang clean the duct work in the 117 year old house I just bought. Had it done because I have very bad asthma and had lots of dirt and dust ever time we vacuumed ( it also didn’t help previous owner never vented there dryer to the outside wow lint every where). They did a great job but seemed like we were still getting quite at bit of dirt still. Well I called and expected to get the old runaround but to my suprise they came back out again -found the problem - fixed it and then totally recleaned the whole system at no charge. I’m flabrgasted. These guys are great , the techs Kyle &Aaron, Linda in the office and Jim the owner thank you so much.
