After realizing that I have been doing business with Am Fam for around 20 years without doing a review I felt that it was time. I joined when the agency was under the direction of Roger Schuster and given the outstanding service provided to me by Jennifer back then did not hesitate to continue my policy when she took over. Truthfully I could get coverage comparable for less however I dont mind paying a little more to get the great service that I have come to know from this agency over the past couple of decades which includes but is not limited to very personable service with a genuine concern in regard to my customer satisfaction. Thank you Jennifer and Kara for always greeting me with a warm smile and providing me exemplary service over the years. My daughter will be 16 soon so I will be in to discuss possibly adding her to the policy in the near future :)

I just logged on to get American Familys contact info for some insurance questions. I saw the reviews, and wondered to myself why havent I ever thought to leave one, I guess the old saying is true you rarely hear the good stuff, but always the bad. Here is a well deserved long overdue review.I have been with American Family for over 30 years, and have dealt with Jennifer & staff ever since they took over. I can honestly say that I have never dealt with nicer people. I certainly have never dealt with someone as knowledgeable about insurance as Jennifer. With Jennifer, you ask a question you get a straight answer. If they arent 100% sure of the answer, they find it out for you and in a timely manner. If you need to talk with someone they are easily reachable. Claims processing is unbelievably fast. I deal with them on my home, shop, all the family autos, and more and I have never once been disappointed yet.Ive gone in and sat with Jennifer for a few insurance audits and every time Ive done that I have come out of it saving money.Im proud to highly recommend this business because first and foremost they take care of business, and again, youll never find nicer people to deal with.

Have to say you guys have just been wonderful to talk with and work with. A massive thank you for all of the assistance is in order and just wanted you guys to know I appreciate it. I have not had this type of help with these things since leaving State Farm a little over three years ago and had them since I was 16. It has been tough trying to find a new insurance company to treat us the way we would like to be and you guys have exceeded expectations. Jennifer Steffen is a wonderful person when it comes to insurance. Always answers any questions and explains everything thoroughly. The staff and agency as a whole is great to work with. I would highly recommend talking with her for a quote.

Called at the beginning of the month looking for some savings on current policies. I was informed that my car insurance was going up in July, even though I had never made a claim. After finding a different insurance company I called to cancel my AmFam policies.I told the girl who answered my call to cancel my policy on the day it was to renew. I was still charged for the month. When I spoke with the agent herself she informed me that they were charging me for one day and then issueing the refund.Buyer beware!! Not only are you over charged for what you pay for , the company and its affiliates dont care.

Ridiculous. I’ve been waiting now going on to three weeks for her to get back to me about Life Insurance. So disappointed and dissatisfied.
