Terrible management, I called days before bringing my car in for a diagnostic and repair. I knew the exact issue. Soon after I dropped it off, I was told they did not want to work on my car. That should have been said to me while I was setting up the appointment on the phone. Wasted my time and gas on something that could have easily been avoided. I do not recommend them!

Im new to the area and took my truck to these guys to get my headlights fixed. Not only was the service incredible, but they had me taken care of in a very short time and the price was very reasonable. This is a family-owned business, not a large corporation. They care about the individual and let you know youre valued. Highly recommend!

I happen to inspect the work that was completed by this business for my customer Dion Combs.First thing I will say your business has a horrible reputation around Dover when it comes to us as auto mechanics even when it was RPS.2. My customer has leaking or defective shocks that your business has yet to fix and your response to his review is that he didnt pay for it, well hes a veteran with lots of years of service and a Veteran Agency assisted him regarding of who pays all customers deserve property service. OVER $700 for 4 shocks and sway bar bushings.3. I believe it was a conflict of interest since the Agency SSVF Dover office Manages son is a employee of yours.You will have your day in Court.I WOULDNT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS TO ANYONE

I met Doug and Kathy several years ago when they bought their shop from a previous owner. Patriot Auto is my one-stop, shop for my immediate and extended family. All their work has been done right and at a fair price. They work on new and old autos, including extensive engine and other work they did on my 1960 T-bird. Doug had me order the parts from a supplier so I knew there was no shop markup. As a family-owned business they understand the benefits of building loyalty with their customers. It’s a small shop but once you’re in their system, you will be reminded of regular maintenance intervals, which is one less thing to worry about. I recommend them highly.

The work they did was great although I dont see how changing a radiator hose and changing out the front two struts. Could take the same time to do. Which was 1.80 hours To which I was charged over $200 for labor. Also they d me $80 oil change and ended up costing me a $116 Besides that their work is good

I called in about 3 minutes after Patriot opened at 8AM on a Thursday. They hadn’t gotten up and rolling yet and were waiting on computers to load, so I was promised a call back. Within 10 minutes, I received a phone call back from Bill who talked to me about what I wanted done, the concerns I had, and offered to take a listen to the car to give me his opinion. I drove up there, and was told by Bill that I needed more than I thought, so I told him to do what needed to be done as soon as I could make an appointment. Just a few hours later that same day, my car that WAS squealing like a stuck pig (Water pump, tensioner pulley bearings shot), was NOW driving on the road again quietly, efficiently, and all for a very reasonable price. I will recommend them to anyone and will be back for other car service needs.

A repeat customer and have been very satisfied both times. Always pleasant and knowledgeable. They tell it to you straight and don’t try to fix stuff that doesn’t need it, yet. Will go back again.

I needed Front and rear brakes replaced on my Kia Sorento. I purchased my own brake kits all I needed was installation. I called around and had pricing from all different amounts.I drove by Patriot Auto walked in and asked if they would be able to install my brake kit,this was yesterday 12/31/2019, the very nice lady at the counter said they could that day if I left it and they could squeeze me in.They did an awesome job!!! Let me tell you, not only were they friendly and helpful but their pricing isn’t out to drain your bank. As a matter of fact they were $160 cheaper then another local Tire King Shop.I will tell everyone I know to go to Patriot Auto. Give these new owners the opportunity to take care of your Auto needs....you will not regret it!!!!!

Lots of shady men work here

Unfortunately need to drop my rating from 5 stars to 3. Brought my car in for a quick diagnosis, with specific instructions not to fix anything without asking me. Was all geared up to pay $100 diagnostic fee when I got a call the next day about a bill of $158 dollars. Thats after waving the fee. They fixed the battery terminal without permission and charged me for it. Its 5 minutes of work and an extremely inexpensive part (I know because I just replaced it the month before, albeit with a cheap low quality terminal). The excuse was that they had to fix it to know that it was the issue, but they obviously had their suspicions. They should have called with that information and I could have saved myself the the $50.Very nice people there and Im still willing to consider them in the future. Im sure the repair was done to the highest quality. And I know time is money but $158 for the easiest job youve probably had all month is too much, and you should have respected my wishes to be notified.

The place we bought our truck from had us take it to them for some repairs will never go back again my husband left a cup full of change and it was gone when we got the truck back if you take your car here make sure you take all your valuables out or they wont be there
