Was in a jam and they fixed me right up with a new trailer tire, and had an extra used tire I could buy to take as a spare. Price was very reasonable, and the staff was very polite.

If I could give no stars I would. We dropped the vehicle off the previous day. We informed the rep that there was a noise in the left front wheel well. We were told that it would be looked at first thing the following morning and that there was a 45.00 diagnostic fee. We finally received a phone call about 2pm or so the following day. The owner was extremely rude. He basically gave us a long list of things and a price of (1000.00 dollars)for a totally rebuilt front end. He insisted on repairing this long list of things on the right side as well. When I told him that we were only interested in getting the issue that bought us there taken care of and what would the price be. He started yelling and became belligerent on the phone. I asked him could he give me a price for the issue that is impairing the vehicle. He claimed that he would have to check with the mechanic and call us back, Well of course he never did. After a couple of hours I called back. This time he quoted a price of around 700.00 still insisting on repairing after I resisted again he was even more rude, yelling and shouting. I assume it was the owner who answered because he felt as if he could talk to me any way that he chose. I informed him that I was on my way to pick up the vehicle. While standing in the lobby he informed me that he was owed 45.00 for the diagnostic I said ok give me a list of what you found wrong and I will gladly pay you, Once again he began yelling at me saying that I was not listening. He refused to give me the so-called diagnostic report told me to leave and that I did not have to pay him. I then went to another service center and was told that we only needed a lower ball joint on the left side. Sir I understand upselling, however it does not work on everyone. You cannot force a bunch of services on a customer. Especially a well informed one.

Very nice people that work there. Dan is the mechanic that took care of my car and hes great and very informative not like some mechanics. Also the prices are great not overpriced at all. Highly recommend them at Burkes

Absolutely horrible service and product. I got two front tires put on in S Dover. By the time I got to Felton the left tire was flat. I called and asked for them to help since I’m disabled and they refused. I had to call a tow truck to take me back to the shop. They said it was a faulty valve and was my fault. WHAT??? The valve was fine on the old tire!! Then they quoted me $85 to put a new valve on when you can but valves for $10. They put a temporary rubber valve on and off I went, down a lot of money. Buyer beware!!! You have been warned, they will not take responsibility for their actions. Their one month guarantee is worthless.

Bad service, was quoted a price, yet next day I went in they refused it. However stated they would take it for $5. more. I agreed, waited over a half hour, for them to tell me they couldnt change it due to they were afraid to jack my car up!!! Some machanics you have working for ya. Very dis-satisfied customer. They were very good, honest. I went there thinking I wanted 2 used tires...they checked both closely and told me just one was bad. They matched them perfectly. All done in 25 minutes.

I always go to Burkes, but the new guy that sits in the office is rude and condescending. Short patience he thrust my key in the trick my car with an attitude.I looked at him like he was crazy!The staff works hard and very qualified, he can ruin it all for an established cliental.

I can’t tell you if their work is any good here or not. Here’s why.Dropped truck off on a Monday. When I didn’t hear from them by Wednesday I called. The person I spoke to said 4 people called out so he was backed up. That’s understandable. What happened besides that was not.When I had gotten my original estimate I was told if I bought my own parts, they would install them.When I called to bring the truck in for repair I told the person I spoke to on the phone before I got there, the person I gave my key to, and another person working in the shop, I had the parts and they were in a box in the back seat. I ordered parts based on my estimate. On Thursday when I called I was told they were still waiting on a part. I repeated that I had purchased the part. Whoever I spoke to said he would use them instead. Now the truck will be ready by lunchtime Friday. When I called lunchtime Friday they said they would call me when the work was done. They called back a few hours later they said I had ordered the wrong part so they did NOTHING to fix my truck. 5 days. They had 5 days to open a box and look at the parts. I could have returned and gotten the correct part if they had bothered to look when I first dropped off the truck.I recommend if you do use Burke’s and purchase your own parts make sure you put the parts you intend them to use in their hands so they know what they are working with.

I was so impressed with the honesty and integrity of this tire place. I came in for a quote on four new tires. As I left the store, I was unaware that I had dropped my tire money ($700 in cash) out of my pocket when climbing back into my vehicle. I left and then at my next stop realized I had no money and in a panic went back to the tire place hoping for the best. Apparently the mechanic that had found the money had the honesty and integrity to look at the shop video to see who had dropped the money..... and it was waiting for me when I walked back into the shop!! Not only were they the best price but everyone in there was so friendly. I will be a customer for life!

I have been dealing with Burkes tires at this location for years now. They did a good job as far as replacing my tires but I wasnt pleased to look at my car and see some of my things look like it was rummaged through. Their job was to replace my rims and tire not to be all in my dashboard compartment and didnt even close it when they went through it. I also had a cover over top of a box in my car that was off. I dont want to pay for service if I cant trust those who service my vehicle.Update: this is for the Burks tire in cheswold Delaware. There is a compartment on my dashboard. The glove compartment was not open it was my compartment on top of my dashboard. if anyone needed to find anything I should have been contacted first. I called up there several times and there was no mention of anyone looking for anything.

I will never be going back there. I got a set of new tires and called them asking if they could put them on and they said yes. So I get there sat there for about 10 minutes just for them to say they can do them but dont feel like it. What kind of business is that.

Horrible service, technician broke my valve stem trying to get the tire off and them charged me for it. 2 of the attendants smelled like alcohol while they were working. Over incompetent employee and terrible service

Very friendly, they would have 5 stars if they didnt mess up 3 of my rims. I seen the one while they was putting on the car. The other ones I looked when I got home and found more. Very disappointed on the care they have for peoples rims. They took 70 off but thats not even close to calling it even. So if you dont care about your rims they are great! If you care about how your rims look go somewhere else.

Horrible, do not use for auto repair!! They said they could repair my thermostat. They took it apart and couldnt put it back together. They also killed my battery. I had to tow it to Mini in Annapolis, MD to fix. Stay away, There are No Trained Mechanics There. Would give them no stars but Google wont let me!

Over tighen. By far.. Needed 4ft breaker bar to get my tire off 80 90 foot pound is all it needs.. If you are on the side of the road you have NO CHANCE to get it off... Make it real tuff if far from home now you got to call someone to charge you.... To take off ur tire does not make out for a good time

I was there 30 minutes before opening because of a gas leak that I was extremely worried about. As soon as 8 hit, I was helped by Peter(i think that was his name) and he said they would inspect it and give me a call back. Super nice and friendly guy. I got a call within the hour that my vehicle was done and I could come pick it up. Really fast service and willing to help. The receptionist was a little short and bland but it’s okay, everyone has those days. Overall GREAT JOB!

My brother called Burkes(monday) so I could buy 4 new tires. I stood by him listening to the call. Benjamin was who he talked to.....he gave him all the information about my SUV and tire size. ...My name and number. Today is Thursday.. my appointmentis at 1pm....its 945am now....I call Burkes to make sure the tires are in......I DIDNT WANT to drive 28 miles for nothing. The guy on the phone said Benjamin was off today and had no idea of what I was talking about. No tires were ordered and no appointment written down!! Yall did a TERRIBLE JOB . Off to Mr. Tire or NTB !!

These crooks conveniently have it printed on their receipt that they only replace their garbage tires; NO REFUNDS!!! This might be acceptable for locals but my daughter lives several hours away. When she told them this they told her NO EXCEPTIONS! So, $47 for a dry rotted tire that could have blown out at any time and today her husband has to get another tire because that piece of garbage went FLAT IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS!!!NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH A PLACE THAT DOES NOT OFFER CASH REFUNDS!!! There is a reason they dont give cash refunds.

Went here a few months ago to get my tires changed. Just realized some of my lug covers are completely stripped. Will never come here again.

I had a tire pressure alert while approaching their exit and made it to their shop. I got out of the truck and could hear the tire leak. They got to work quickly and I was on my way in less than 20min after paying a fair price.

Paid $47 for a tire due to our original tire blowing out on our way back to Pennsylvania only for the tire we paid $47 for to be leaking air and go flat the very next day. Less than 24 hours after getting it. Called and was told the only thing we could do was bring it back for them to replace it even though I had told the guy we live in PA. Very poor customer service and a waste of money!

Hi everyone its Jimmy. I would like to share what happened to Tammie today. I was going to do the brakes on her van but when I saw that the lugs were cross threaded I suggested she call Burkes Tire & Auto Repair the North Dover store as that was the last place she had bought tires and had them put on. The management there told her that it wasnt their fault. That the lug had probably deteriorated and cross threaded itself. They hung up on her twice. When I got on the phone the management told me the same thing. When I said I have been a mechanic for almost 40 years and have never cross threaded a lug or had one come off cross threaded he said and I quote I am sorry you have never experienced this. Needless to say they refused to help Tammie in this situation. Instead of pulling the tire, replacing the studs and lug nuts approximately $30 in parts they would rather us write their review here. You all know the business I run, I never would hang up on a customer. Never tell someone that I didnt care what they wrote about my business, abd certainly not over a $30 repair. So I used to send everyone to Burkes but now I ask all my friends to use Integrity Tire. This is where my business will go from now on. Jesse would never talk to anyone the way the male and female management did at Burkes Tire & Auto Repair. I do not know if they are independently owned but I am hoping that the owner gets wind of how his people treat those that employ them. Thats right Mr. Burke you may own the business but its us as consumers that employ you, pay your bills, your employees etc etc etc. I personally understand that my business cannot survive without my friends, my employers.
