Great amount of parking. Monthly fees are cheap and it has all you need to get in shape! They keep it very clean and staff is very helpful! They have everything marked of for social distancing!

I froze my account at the start of the pandemic because I was told there were no refunds on paid-in-full accounts. Now that there are vaccines out and we’re moving in a better direction with this pandemic, I called this afternoon 2/25/21 to unfreeze my account.Douglasville locationI was told my account actually expired and there was no indication that my account was ever frozen.What ever money I paid for my 1-year membership is gone and I’d have to pay again.I personally can’t and won’t do business with this place again. Either this was intentional or it was incompetence either way I’m ticked off.I’ll offer my business to the new folks on Hospital drive .-Matt-

The entire staff is always very friendly, greeting you as soon as you walk in and if you need assistance with anything. The facility is very well kept, clean and organized. Highly recommend!

Love the staff! Cleanest facility Ive been to thus far. They have policies that are reasonable especially in the times were living in right now. They dont have a lot but you can tell with what they have they are about general fitness. No Sauna, No classes, No pool but its still worth it.

If i could give this place no stars i would. Dont care about their customers and have horrible customer service. Would not recommend. MARKITTA is horrible and would rather argue with the customer than help. She turn my husband and i away for not having a towel and canceled the membership. But 5 minutes later allowed two white women to walk in with no towel and workout. Then when we confronted her she said they do have towels when we have it video taped they did not and the two white women themselves told her they did not have towels. I would not spend my money there. She was then arguing with two other customers because they wanted to cancel due to her poor customer service.

AMAZING staff, facility was extremely clean EVERYWHERE...from the bathrooms to all the equipment. Even smelled pretty nice.

Staff loves to say i dont know why it happened...and we cant do anything about it. They close the doors and still took my money...I closed my membership and they still are trying to take my money scheduled on the 7th. Tried to talk to manager Marquita she is out and no one knows when she will be back. No other manager and only a personal phone for the district manager so they cant give that out...seriously??? Why? does she/he not have anymore minutes?...is this a corporate company or mom and pop operation that runs on I have no idea...and...We cant do anything about it......

I paid for a full year and then they closed for months. I have emailed them 2-3 times bout getting a refund on what I paid for but wasn’t able to use due to their closure. When I went in to cancel they still wouldn’t refund what I was unable to used and no refund on my amount I paid for the year which whatever but I should be refunded for when they were closed and I was unable to use.

I froze my account and they took it upon themselves to unfreeze.They just take and take.The manager never came out the office to see about me. She just kept sending out the front person and never came to see me at all.I never fussed or raised my voice.She the manager just didnt care at all. As a person people should deal with people,not tell people to deal with corporate after they do the damage with your account.I will just cut my losses.So boycott youfit with me please and thank you for your support in advance.

Convenient clean, very friendly staff. Great work out environment no everyone is helpful and courteous from the staff to the people working out. Judgment free zone. The price is affordable I definitely recommend Youfit to anyone looking for a great place to train your body.

Affordable, clean and the equipment is well maintained. Could stand to be open a few more hours on the weekends. Basic fitness center with no additional amenities like sauna, steam, pool, tanning, etc but, that keeps the price reasonable. It can get a bit crowded after work (5pm-7pm) but I usually dont have to wait for equipment.

I am 50 years old and havent been in a gym since I was in High School (and even then, I got out of it every chance I could); I love this gym. The trainer took me around and showed me some workouts to get me started and I felt like a natural going in to workout. They make you feel so comfortable and accepted.

For the price, you really cant ask for much better. Everyone has always been very nice and helpful whenever I needed anything, and the gym is always clean and organized. And recently when I called to ask about how to upgrade my account, Mark was very accomodating and offered to help me personally when I went to the gym later that evening. Ive been a member for years and have yet to have an issue.

Don’t sign a contract with this Company. Especially don’t give them your bank account information. Hire your own trainer and bring them with you to the gym. Once my training contract ended, they continued to take money from my bank account. I did what I was told to do and cancelled 30 days before contract was to end. Yet, they stole money from my bank account. I was told I’d receive a refund in 10 business days. I’m still waiting. It’s been a month. High turnover in personal trainers. I was injured after working with the second trainer and because of this injury It’s been difficult to get back to a workout schedule. I was also told he claimed to have trained with me on days he didn’t. He’s left and I was told by management “well he said he provided the workouts” I guess something else they do to get paid when not owed.NOTE TO OWNER: Don’t reply to this with what that same lame message (we’ve contacted, corporate office and we will work with you to help get refund.) GET MY DANG MONEY BACK. IF You Write The Check. Because, believe me I’M THAT ONE WHO WILL STAND IN FRONT OF YOUR LOCATION With A BEWARE OF FRAUD SIGN. This ain’t the month January 2019 to lose money/business.

The staff is awesome. The facility is very clean. I loved the gym until I was taken for over $700 in less than 2 months. Anyone who signs up, please read your contract thoroughly. Theyll tell you one thing and each thing comes with strings attached. You will not know until your account is charged again and again. I was disappointed by the system and refused to attend anymore. Id rather use the money to create a home gym.

The staff is always friendly! The gym is clean. Also, the atmosphere of the gym is inviting. I never feel intimidated or bad about myself. My personal trainer, Dawn, is amazing. I love it!

I was a member for over 3 years, it is a good workout facility. In December of 2014 they started pushing a program to have a trainer work you out for 3 months. I always say no, but I need some motivation to jump start me for the new year. I told the manager that I skeptical because these things always go wrong with the payment process. Well guess who lied to me? The short version, I went to the gym on my lunch break. They made me wait 30 min when they found out that I wanted to cancel my contract with my trainer. The Manager and the GM was present when I was discuss what I wanted to do. The GM got on his cell phone and went into his office. The Manager went to finish working out, the young lady behind the disk had no user rights to cancel the contract. She went to the GM 3 times he still chilling on his cell phone on a personal call. Finally he got up and stopped the manager from working out to help me. They gave me some Bull about I missed the 30 day cut off by two days. I had a picture of a message I left for them to give me a call a week earlier. The Manger said ok that should be good enough to process this with no additional charge. He went and talked to the GM and he said NO... I will be charges an additional month for the training that I wont be using. I told the to cancel everything if this is how YOU FIT does business. People that dont wont to work should not be in a leadership position. I hope this dont fall on deaf ears.. Mr. Moore

The workers there are amazing and truly care about you and your safety. They have helped me out on numerous occasions and I couldnt be more grateful for their kindness. I really recommend this gym. If you want friendly associates and trainers, Youfit is the place to go.

Love this gym was a member at planet fitness and couldnt stand it there. The management Tyler is great and will work with you as deem fit. Staff is very helpful and not pushy.

The Douglasville staff are amazing and the gym is fully equipped and very clean with a safe atmosphere.

Have cancelled my membership but is still charging my account

I have made numerous calls, SINCE AUGUST, seeking a refund of the money they charged me in error. It is now December and my money has still not been refunded; despite their acknowlegdement of their mistake and promises from multiple staff members that it would be returned. Beware!!

We joined the gym and started personal training sessions. However, due to medical issues we were unable to go for a couple of months. We continued to pay for the sessions because we were not told that we could put a freeze on the contract. We started going back and had over two months of sessions that we had not used so we talked to the manager about terminating our contract until we had used the sessions and then, if we were still interested, we would sign up again. At that time we were told that we could freeze the contract so we opted for that instead. We were given a form noting the freeze was completed. Needless to say, the following month (we gave the full 30 day notice) the money was still deducted from my account. Because of that it over drafted my bank account. We spoke with Terrence this morning who said he would take care of it; however, we have been unable to reach him again. The money has not been credited back to my account and at this point, I believe we will just cancel the contract completely. Misleading and shady tactics seem to be commonplace at YouFit.

They have been closed for over three months and been stealing my monthly payments and no way to reach anyone with youfit to close my account.

This place is a great place to work out. There really no intimidation factor. Everyone is there for the same purpose. Its clean and well kept

Was verbally told when I signed up it would NEVER be over $10 per month. Well apparently in a welcome email that I cant seem to find a year + later now there was a section highlighted in purple saying I had to pay yearly fees of $39.99. The manager on the phone at Douglasville was very rude but nothing new with this location and told me that was all hearsay and I would have to pay or I would keep getting billed monthly. This place is dishonest I would never recommend anyone give them their business. SEVERAL different options in the area

When Im first joined this gym pre covid, I gave them five stars and commented Very clean and courteous staff. Now in December 2020, Id like to revise my review. Though I stopped going to the gym in March when we went into quarantine, I still paid my dues hoping to help a small business during pressing times. In June of 2020 I called and placed a hold on my membership after seeing a one time annual $49 charge which was included in the contract. The person I spoke with assured me that the months I paid for and didnt use would be credited to me once I took the hold off. I then noticed in December 2020 I was being charged and had been since August. There was no notice given. They just started charging me again on the premise that the covid threat was over. When I discontinued my account, they charged me a $10 fee which is normal practice for them. Times are hard for everyone, but that is no excuse to take advantage of your members. Treat people how youd like to be treated is how I was raised. Apparently Ufit doesnt abide by that code. Im bringing my business elsewhere.

I have been hesitant to go back. I would like to go work out but dont want to feel pressured as soon as I walk through the door to get a personal trainer. That pressure alone makes me reluctant to go in the doors. I just want to start my own routine and when I choose to...I will inquire about a personal trainer.

The gym closed near mid April, but they charged my card for May and June also. The manager would not even speak to me on 6/30 once I realized they opened back up. BAD BUSINESS! I need to be reimbursed for 2 1/2 months.

Lockers are full of dust, bathroom smells Iike sh***. I often wonder if they EVER clean it. The music SUCKS. You go in there and feel like youre literally at a FUNERAL!!! Then.. You Think to yourself... Is this ACTUALLY a gym? They MAKE you give them your keys to scan your card.. Id be happier just scanning it myself if they would put it on the d4mn counter!! Retarded gym.. just pay extra and go to LA fitness.

This is not a great gym to go to. Not only do the personal trainers leave and no one bothers to set you up with another one, they also continue to charge you for the service. I guess the only thing that matters is the contract and money to this gym. I would not recommend this gym to anyone.

DO NOT ALLOW AUTOMATIC DEDUCTIONS! When you ask that the deductions are to be stopped, the request goes in one ear and out the other. The request does not get to brain. Cancelled due to medical issues. Months later, 6 deductions hit the bank at the same time. After many, many, many phone calls, emails and conversations with the club manager as well as zone manager, a refund was processed and funds went back into the bank. Two days later, another monthly charge was deducted. Help......I feel like a hamster stuck on a wheel!

This is the worst experience Ive ever had dealt with. Ok so at first I wanted my gym membership cancelled do to no job which means NO income at the moment and was willing to join back at the gym as soon as I had income rolling in instead there was a trainer/employee that told me multiple times she will do whatever to help me so that I wouldnt have to stop going there and which she did say she will speak to the supervisor about my situation and about pushing the due date back some on one of the payments but this is where it gets interesting instead of pushing the payments back they pushed the monthly payment up they took the money out sooner then the due date of my payments PLUS the gym membership fee which overdraft my bank account this gym will be X off my list I dont scam people and for it to be done to me is crazy. So I went back to the gym to see why I still had money (which was not in there) taken out my bank account that left me with an overdraft. I tried to tell one of the employees at Douglasville YouFit location about my situation he gave me a look like it was not his problem and he didnt care and then asked me a crazy question about if I wanted to change the date of my payment plan like that was the problem when clearly I just told him the problem which was Ive been overdraft a lot of money in my bank account which now I have to find a way to pay the bank the money back. I tried asking for a supervisor as soon as I walked in the gym but instead he tried to handle the situation himself but this is a horrible business. When it comes to handling a situation that you may be in that deals with you not making payments on time please dont listen to anything they say to you about them helping you because its just going to get you in a lot of trouble and they will pretty much just laugh in your face like your nothhing and so in that since I will leave this gym alone and when I do make all kinds of money which I will because now I have a great job this will not be the gym I will be intending in the future I will do business elsewhere. It could have been a really good gym for me if they just didnt scam and I was even going to pay for a trainer to help me get back into shape but thank GOD I didnt invest inthis gym to much and now Im overdraft at my bank this is not right especially when Im still a new member that I havent been with for very long and now theyve showed me that everyone is not what they put out to be so PLEASE people dont give out your account # to this business or believe anything they say about helping you if your going through any money problems if you are going to do business with them. Gym environment:YouFits slogan is fitness where you fit in.Well, Im not sure thats quite true for me personally. The reason I feel that I dont fit in here is because Im not a middle school aged teeny bopper. If I were ... Id probably love the color scheme and pop music they play.I can live with the stupid colors....its probably mostly for marketing and catching the eye of potential customers. The colors are fine I guess, but the music is awful. Literally everyone, including the staff, wears headphones. I would enjoy going there a lot more if they would play something different or just turn it off.Equipment:The equipment seems to be maintained fairly well and kept clean. Its a smaller gym so they have the basic machines and weights, but expect to wait occasionally or find a workaround if they dont have a specific machine you like.My biggest suggestion for the gym management is to remove about 10 elliptical machines. Ive liked ellipticals at other gyms, but these arent very good (they feel cheap and awkward to use). Usually when I work out maybe one or two are being used. Utilize the space better. Open up an area for hiit or calisthenics. Your customers will appreciate it a lot.Staff:Pretty good actually. Pushy sales people when you come to sign up. Be aware that you can sign up without providing a bank routing number. They will lie and tell you its required. Its not. Also, know that with the one time yearly fee and your initial sign up fee your paying closer to $16/month. Its not $10/month! I was ok with that.Otherwise the staff is friendly and generally seem to like working at youfit. Some are high school aged so you may see some goofing off.

Terrible. Manager is misleading when it comes to contracts and cancelation deadlines. If you decide to cancel it will still take another month or so before the cancelation goes through. Personal training is apparently separate from the gym as far as contracts. Even if you cant work out anymore doesnt matter theyll still force you to pay until the contract is over. And btw I cancelled my membership 3 months ago and I just found out they are still taking money out of my account. Do yourself and your pockets a favor, dont go there!

Be sure to read the small print and membership requirements: I had forgotten that I had a membership until I viewed the charges to my account. After calling to cancel, I was told that it has to be in person with a $10 cancellation fee. There was no negotiation despite paying months of membership without attending.
