This company has absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. There are no human beings available to speak to. Computer/live chat disconnects me because of time limit expirations while Im waiting to chat with someone! Login page doesnt allow me to recover my account info so i can at least login to address billing issues. All of this while Im trying to PAY THEM money!! Over an hour of my life lost forever dealing with this company and still my issues arent resolved!

Everytime there is an issue with internet, you are left on the phone for an hour or more. Once on the phone, service is great, but there is no reason for sitting on hold for that long.

We’ve had this service for three years now the first two years it worked great then they change my modem and ever since then the service is just horrible doesn’t work half the time so we called them biggest mistake ever they charged us $50 so a and i “for a in house technician to come in look at my modem and say it’s fine and leave” our internet was off for two weeks because someone in there company doesn’t know how to do there job and now my account is on a hardlock so I have too make a whole new one Great Job wow

I leave escalation memos for review of the local office and still no calls. I am done with this Internet provider. I havr already canceled my cable service with them. I am just done. It is frustrating not being able to speak with a local representative but the staff have been great. The service has been great and the price is better than the competitors. The equipment is not quite as nice as its competitors but I believeWow has great potential in being a service provider. Employee was very helpful. However their website and number they have to set up service lacks in comparison. You can not start up service by phone or website because it goes to a call center. A week later and three phone calls to them which restarted a request for service each time we finally went to the office in person. As the location we live is limited in which providers offer service we need to go with what we can get. Please update your ways to get service because not everyone can get to your local office.

If youre thinking of getting WOW internet in Dothan, dont. Its literally been a living nightmare dealing with them. I cancelled my service in April and they have sent me a bill every month for service including late fees. Ive called, and they say they will cancel it and get rid of the charges. But nope: still getting bills. They even have a record of me turning in the router. So, unless you want to owe money to WOW for the rest of your life even for not having service, do not get WOW service.

If I could give no stars I would. Calling customer support is a HORRIBLE experience. Never have I had worse. It takes forever to get someone on the line. Waited an hour and still no one answered. This was at 3pm in the afternoon. I will be canceling first thing. The worst service ever. I would rather go without internet then have this service. Not worth it. Terrible service ! The web boxes are cheap and I have to replace ours at least 2 if not 3 per year. When you call it takes 2 days or longer for someone to come out. There has got to be a better service for the Cottonwood area.

I changed from cable and internet to just internet and it always take doing the same thing twice before it is actually done. They cut off the internet on the last day to pay bill and getting it back on was a headache. First I call and was told, I need the confirmation number to get it back on, then I called back with the confirmation number just to be told I would have to go back to the office to get it on because they can not take the confirmation number or wait another day to be able to get internet.I have to say the ladies was very helpful in the office but when you on the phone talking to the men I believe they are playing with you.

Great prices! Easy fast connect, office personnel nice, helpful and easy transaction. Phone # not local, goes to GA call ctr, where very nice, and willing to help you. Connection is 80-89 out of 100 mbps. No issues, and internet connection no interruption so far.

The customer service, at best is pathetic! Their overall service is mediocre and the cable goes out frequently. The last time the cable went out the soonest they could send someone to check it was 5 days out! This is absolutely absurd and whats so incredible about it is that they honestly dont care. Their attitude is unbelievable and especially in todays environment where customer service is so highly focused upon. All I can say is try your best to sign on with another cable provider if at all possible. If you sign on with WOW then you have been advised and do it at your own risk! The first incident occurred a few months ago when they disconnected my service although my account was current. After I went to the office and complained they turned it back on and stated they didnt know why it was disconnected in the first place. The second incident was when they disconnected my internet service for failing to pay on time; however, I had records to show that my bill had been paid but the company had not posted the payment. When I showed them the confirmation number from my online banking account they turned it back on but it would constantly buffer when streaming; which it did not do before. I called technical service and was on hold for almost an hour before I spoke to anyone. Not once did I get an apology or a credit for either incident; which was without a doubt the companies fault.

Multiple months of slow speeds, technical support unable to provide simple solutions when there is an obvious simple problem. Referring to the local office, we are not able to do that any time support is called. I would not recommend WOW any longer, and I have been a customer for over 7 years.

Sat on hold because the internet wasnt working. Was on hold for 30 minutes. The guy that answered was rude. Said there was a past due amount. We never received a bill, a past due notice or a disconnect notice. We tried to pay it for 2 weeks and it showed there was no amount due. he said he can make an IT ticket but he would need a payment first. I asked him why he need a payment if it showed that there was no amount due. He told me that there was an amount due and that the system was wrong. What is going on with your billing system???

I have never before in my life experienced trying to do business with a company who makes it absolutely impossible. Ive received numerous offers that interested me through the mail. When I tried to contact them, and FINALLY got through to the number listed on the advertisement, I was told that someone locally would contact me within 24 hours. It didnt happen. I sent a request for someone to contact me on their website. It didnt happen. When I call the number listed for the local office it rings once and then stops. Now, when I call the number on the latest mail offer, its disconnected. If this is any indication of the efficiency of WOWs customer service, NO THANKS! I rate WOW LESS THAN ZERO!!

There are a myriad of problems that I have experienced with Wow, all of them dealing with their Internet. The service is impressively inconsistent, ranging from needing to be reset several times a day to our speeds being 1/6 (or lower) during non prime time. Its rather pricey for us to not be able to use our Internet 5-7 days a month. Sadly, its the only option available to us. I wish everyone the best dealing with them.

I was extremely weary of this provider, given the poor reviews, but as this is my only option for internet that is not satellite-based, I went ahead with the install. I have been extremely happy with the service. I work from home, have smart-home gadgets, and stream tv and movies every day, and have not had any problems. Granted, it has only been a month, but for now, great service!

Absolutely terrible if i could give them zero stars I would. They were supposed to come hook up my internet one Monday, they did not come for 3 weeks to do it. When I would call they would tell me a service guy was going to come hook it up and would never come. They finally came and hooked it up, and then it is terrible quality. Terrible customer service, and slow. I will NEVER use this company again. If you want good quality internet, USE SPECTRUM!!! If my apartment had not made us use this awful company, we would have Spectrum now. I can not wait to move so I no longer have to deal with this company. Spectrum also does not make you sign a contact and is the absolute best internet provider my husband and me have found in our area.

We have had our internet service come and go since they have become WOW. There customer service has gone way down. We have had them come out and work on our connection and they had to correct some issues with the modem. There was no compensation for the lack of service that we had not gotten. Again we have had trouble and they only cared about the money. Yes we were late this month on payment but had the internet worked fully this would not be an issue. When they were Knology they seemed to care more. They seem to be more interested in creating commercials to talk about how great they are instead of showing how great they are. My $105 is going somewhere else every month.

I left a 2star review before but I decided to change it to a 1 Star(Because it doesn’t give me the option for no stars). This internet is absolutely ridiculous. This is the 4th or 5th time we’ve had issues with connectivity or just slow internet. My wife can’t even connect to the internet to do her homework so she has to use a hotspot. I rarely watch cable but since the World Cup is on I decided to watch it, but I can’t because there’s so much static and poor connection that I can’t watch basic cable. I will say this again, DO NOT use wow cable/internet. It is the worst provider I have ever had. I can’t wait to move so I can switch providers.

I had wow internet for 1 year. The local customer service was not terrible if I visited the business office, but every time I called the local number, it went to a huge call center and they had to take my number and have someone call me back which was always a headache because it may take 2 days for me to get a call back, if I even got one back at all. I had the 25mbs internet and all the speed that the service would give me was 15mbs even with my own new modem and new router. After my 1 year contract was up I switched and was glad I did. WOW is not the worst, but they are by far the best. I would think twice before using them.

If you have to pause a seven minute YouTube video half a dozen times thanks to crappy internet, your internet service provider needs help. Thats just not okay and having an ISP that is very unreliable is absolutely horrible.An update: weve had an outage for over 24 hours due to weather messing with a pole. WOW promised to be here sometime between 11 A.M. and 2 P.M. It is now past 4:30 P.M. with no sign of WOW and I cant even call their number (I get a busy signal every time I call). Hard to reach by phone. You get a call center in Augusta. Called on a Friday to get service and did not get a call back to give me information until Monday. Set the appointment for 9 am Wednesday. At 9:30 still havent shown up. Called local office and got Augusta. They said they would send an email to the local office to call me. Ridiculous.

Id give them a minus 5 stars, if it were an option! This is the most dishonest, deceitful, worthless cable company, that I have ever had the misfortune of signing up with. After a years worth of squabbles over bogus charges, shotty service, two and three day long outages, and downright worthless customer service, I have parted ways with these incompetent crooks! I was told, in great detail, by one of their technicians, how to use a modem of my own and still be able to receive phone service, and not pay the $10.00 a month that they charge for their outdated DOCSIS 2.0 modem, which you must have if you have phone service included in your package. After purchasing a modem, that is plainly listed on their compatibility list, (The One Their Tech Suggested) to the tune of almost $150.00, and setting everything up, exactly according to their technicians specifications, I call for them to push their firmware to the new modem. The customer no-service representative, then proceeds to tell me that what their own people told me to do, will not work, due to their outdated computer systems! Now Im out almost $200.00, several hours of aggravation, and burning ears from the lying flm-flam that their customer no-service rep was trying to convince me of. I own a computer repair business, so I am well versed in all things PC, I caught her in at least 5, just absolutely bold faced lies, as she obviously has no idea what she id talking about. After about thirty minutes of listening to her lying pie-hole flap, I ask to speak to her supervisor, to which she responded, I am the supervisor, B!TCH! and she hung up on me. I will be down there the first thing in the morning with all of their substandard equipment and a bad attitude! These people are a joke... a bad one, but, nonetheless, A JOKE! STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST! THEY ARE UTTERLY WORTHLESS!!!

This used to be a good company, but the new owners have raised prices, and cut service. They were too cheap to pay for many channels that used to be offered, so now theres meager pickings on TV. Youll also need their inconsistent, rarely functional internet so you can find out whats on TV because they got rid of the TV Guide channel. They raise prices often and without warning. I lose my internet and TV service nearly every week, and the internet goes down several times a week. For all this, you get the honor of paying nearly double what competitors charge. Stay away from this company.

I love it, they came out within 3 days hooked everything up within an hour or so, the guy was very nice and professional, we run our ps4, xbox one, several blue ray players and cell phones with Netflix and HuLu all at the same time and never had any lagging or buffering, the best Internet we have paid for since we have been in the dothan are and you cant beat $40 a month!

I had Graceba and had great service. Then they were bought out by Knology and it was not as good. Now I have WOW and it is terrible. I would give them a 0 but cant. Called because bill keeps going up and loosing channels. I have cable issues and it will be 4 days before they can come out. I a going to swap to another company even though I will have to go through the hassle of changing my email addresss. Dont have some features other Wow customers do due to being in Dothan.

Internet is unusable. Never can get more than 1.33 Mbps. Internet was ok for first 30 days but once two year agreement started it went down to 0. You can try to call but you will not get any help

Most people complain about their poor experience with internet/cable providers regardless of how it actually was, but as I sit here on hold for 30 minutes and counting I thought I would just post a poor review of my past 2 years with Knology. Not a day went by that internet was cutting in and out. Not to mention there were times when the download speeds were far off from the rates being paid for. The introductory rates were fair for quality and speed, but after the first year they were absurdly high. Might I also say the only reason I kept them was because my apartment had a monopoly with them and I was forced to use them for cable and internet. Most of my experiences with technicians were good, but their resolutions were only for a short time and never provided long term solutions to the poor internet. Dealing with consultants on the phone was usually pleasant, although it always took an extremely long time (30+ minutes) to get ahold of someone. Overall, I survived my experience with WOW! as I have every other cable provider I have dealt with in the past, but I must admit that I had the most difficulty for the time and money I had with WOW! Internet and Cable provider.

It really is that kind of experience. I was late for a payment & thats completely on me, 100% my fault and error. $40/mo was my bill for just internet for a long while, several months. Then a discount or promotion rolled off and my bill doubles, just for internet service. Thanks to the cornered market with my apartment, I have no choice but to use WOW. Ill be doing research to see if a more reputable/reliable quality & customer oriented ISP would be able to work in our area.On that note, I called WOW customer support with whom I was on hold for longer than I was actually getting service... the billing expert couldnt even read my bill or give me an genuine explanation as to why my current bill exceeded $130... just scenarios and maybes. I got fed up with not getting answers from the self-proclaimed experts and politely said I would just got to the local office and maybe get some actual help. I checked with my property manager, a fellow WOW victim, and she said that her internet bill has simply been about $50/mo for years.tl:dr; WOW isnt even worth the 1-star rating.

Horrible experience.Ever since Knology changed to Wowway!, the experience as been horrible. $142 a month for high speed internet, and two TVs that have basic cable.Service is very unreliable, and every evening, the internet runs very choppy from around 11pm to 2am. It often disconnects and reconnects in a cycle. Often, the internet isnt online in the early mornings from 7-8am.The cable is stable most of the time, but a few channels have issues in the evenings and early nights.The service technicians are very friendly, so that made my rating from 1 star to 2 star.If you are able to get Comcast, i urge you to consider them over WoW!.

The internet cuts out about (no exaggeration) 115 times a day. Some days itll stay up for about 2 hours, but when it cuts out, it takes about half an hour to come back up. I promise you this company is not worth it. If you absolutely have no other choice, then youd probably enjoy not having the internet bills instead. Its bad, utterly bad, theres no words to describe just how pathetic this excuse for an internet provider is. Always a hassle to call in for tech support or anything else. If service drops in and out all the time the just repeatedly tell you to reset the modem... if that doesnt work just wait it out. Finally took just going in with modem in hand and along for a new one to get my service to work without constant drops. Customer service is poor and services are over priced.

Absolutely the worst ISP Ive ever dealt with.I pay for up to 15mbps. I have never seen more than 5mbps, and that only occurs early in the morning.Netflix and YouTube and Hulu get slowed down to less than 1mbps. This company actively engages in throttling.There are other ISPs that charge less for faster and more reliable service. As of 24 February, two other ISPs in the area charge half of what Im paying for twice the speed.Tech support doesnt help. The help desk technicians Ive talked with try to sell upgrades instead of identifying any problems. I was charged a fee to have a service technician come to try and diagnose my problems. He couldnt identify any issues, even when I showed him the drop in speed when logging into Netflix. I connected to my neighbors wifi and my speeds tripled.Avoid using this company if at all possible. I have nothing but regret for signing up with them.

COMCAST please come in the Dothan area and SAVE US FROM WOW CABLE !! Wow is the worst cable company EVER .. Please avoid this company if you can. Terrible internet, and horrible cable

They are the worst cable company i have ever had to deal with. If i could cancel them i would. I am in an apartment comlplex that uses only them. Its a shame, cause i would go with Comcast or someone else. First they have their XXX channels right by the primetime HD channels, such as CBS, Abc etc.... The problem is when you bring up the TV guide, you see these options to watch tv: (remember its 2pm) Judge Judy, General Hospital, Lets make a deal, and Finger my Juicy Snatch. Completely unacceptable. I cant let my child (age 6) watch TV without someone in the room for fear of seeing it. I have more examples, and i took pictures. Second is they do not offer many channels one is AE in HD, Oh yea, if you want the NFL network, oh well your out of luck. They dont even offer it. I could possibly deal with some of that. My biggest problem is when you call customer service, they are a bunch of morons. They can never answer your question, and i usually end up more irate when we hang up. All in all, if you have other options, go that route. Because even though they are cheaper than most, its not worth the hassle.
