My wife took her car in for an oil change and while doing their inspection they found that 2 of her ties were worn to the point that they could blow out at any time. They got her new tires and were able to get her approved for 90 days same as cash financing so we didnt have a huge expense up front. Great folks and great customer service!!!

Midas is the best car repair shop in Dothan! My car was brought to the shop at 8am and was fixed and ready to go by noon. The Manager, Chris was very helpful and honest about what was wrong with my car. For trustworthy service and a job well done, go to Midas for your next auto repair.

Took my car in to repair a known oil leak. After about an hour and a half I get my car back and was told everything was good to go. Chris did mention two of the studs near the valve gasket were “broken” but that they applied glue so it should be fine. Well I’m not a mechanic, and I assumed all was well. But when I relayed that information to my husband, he was livid. He had expected them to try to replace the studs, or at least tell me before just applying glue. So my husband takes the car back and wants the studs replaced. Chris lies and claims they didn’t replace the studs the day before because it was almost closing time-what a lie. They gave me my car back at 4:20, closing time is 6 per their website. Anyway, they “fix” it. He leaves and stops to get gas and thinks to check the work they did. The valve cover is coming off so the glue did absolutely nothing. So my husband yet again returns the car and explains the situation and reiterates that nothing is fixed and oil will continue to pour out and Chris begins getting angry at my husband to the point of using profanity. Literally who does that- that is completely unprofessional. So here I am, out $200 and nothing is fixed. What kind of mechanics do work like this? Very disheartening when you know nothing about cars and put your absolute trust in “mechanics” to do work correctly, and they can’t.

Complete brake job and a new power booster installed. Great job and price was competitive. I am going for an alignment next - good price 👍🏻

I will never take my car back here they will literally rip you off. They lied saying a piece for my car cost over $80 at the most when it was only $35 at the part store then charge $50 just to say my break light switch was messed up when that wasn’t even the problem.

An absolutely amazing staff! I needed some help removing exhaust tips. They not only helped me with that, but also help me correct a slightly incorrectly installed rear diffuser for free right before closing (they may have even stayed late just to make sure it was done right). These guys are great, recommend them to anyone as far as customer service is concerned.

Took my truck in after I got a quote from Firestone that was laughable. I was having stalling problems, so they had to poke around a bit, but they solved my problem and didn’t rip me a new one. Just took my Truck in last week at 4:56 (sorry Chris 😂) and dropped it off. Got all new tires, wipers, a tail light, and an oil change for 5-6 hundred. Finally a bunch of guys I can depend on. All the employees are quality, and the manager makes the waiting bearable.

They took forever. I dropped my truck off and the said they would need to keep it for a little longer. I got back at 5:30 after my whole 8 hour work day and they were still working on it. I asked for the key and the said that they would be done soon. 1 hour later they’re still at it. This caused me to be late to my second job. Go to key tire in Ashford and they will get you taken care of QUICKLY.

Took a vehicle here to have the ac checked out before purchasing. This place is clean and has a comfortable waiting area with friendly service. They quoted a price and when finished the price was lower than quoted. We would definitely recommend going here for your auto needs.

My husband and I have been bringing our vehicles here since early this Year 2018. We have had to have allot of things done and fixed on two of our cars. Jason is the best, the rest of the staff is awesome too, anytime a part was needed he was on the ball to get it. Having a car that doesn’t and isn’t up to speed can be stressful and costly. I have to admit I love coming here, they have always taken great care of me, and with a husband that is at work and not home and kids to tend too. Midas of Dothan has always made sure that I was more than taken care of regarding my vehicle and they always did what they could to make the situation less stressful than it was. I’ve come in late and very early asking about issues with the cars, I’ve been late picking a car up. My vehicles are older so at times required allot of time and labor to work on. These guys have never complained, given me a hard time or over charged for anything. My husband has always appreciated the level of professionalism with Jason and the staff here, as jason has always contacted my husband Bernie to inform him of all that’s going on. You can’t find this these days, especially in this industry. Had car trouble driving through Dothan, AL headed to FL on vacation. Neither of us are mechanically inclined but knew when check engine light came on it’s time for help. First place we saw was Midas. Great place to get your vehicle worked out

These guys charged too much to rotate my tires, not to mention did NOT make sure my tire pressure was right. In fact, there was less than 15lbs in my tire, & when I took it back to fill it with air, they implied I ran over a nail....which is not possible because I didnt drive anywhere....not to mention, when I filled the tire with air, it never lost pressure. I hate it when they think because I am a woman that I know nothing about vehicles! They need to understand WONEN can be gear-heads too!

I came in for an A/C check on my 05 Chevy truck and they advised me that it was just a simple switch on my line gone bad. I had other shops give me some mess about my compressor and other stuff I had to replace to get the warranty and its was gonna wind up costing me around 1000 bucks. But the technicians at Midas gave me an accurate fix and it only costed me about 80 bucks instead of 1000. That earned my business indefinitely!

Andy did our service at this Midas store and he was amazing! Excellent customer service, he was able to get us right in, diagnosised our problem and made sure the other brake and wheel were ok also! Came here for an oil change & tire rotationbout 3yrs ago- was driving home and my tire came off and rolled across the highway. Long story short the accident bent the frame of my vehicle. To add insult to injury the only thing they offered me was a free oil change! Ruined my vehicle but bc it was old I didnt sue but in hindsight I should have!

I had a coupon for $ 50 off a brake job for Midas (which is the only reason I chose them). I requested that they replace my front brakes. Almost $ 400 dollars later......After they, supposedly, put new brakes on my vehicle, I began to hear this awful squealing around the front of my vehicle (as if the brakes were going out). So, I took my car back to Midas and asked them why does it sound like by brakes are whistling and scrubbing when I just had them replaced. So, they looked at my car and advised that my calibers were going out and had the audacity to try and charge me $500 dollars to replace them. Well...of course I left the business without allowing them to tare my car up again. I took my car to Jim Whaleys the next day. They informed me that the brakes Midas placed on my car were crap and something about my rotors not being turned before the new brakes were applied (Im not familiar with the mechanic lingo). Well...long story short....The loud whistling and scrubbing is gone (calibers not replaced) and Jim Whaley fixed what Midas messed up. I will never return to Midas and I would only recommend them to change oil...and thats only if there is no other option! Merry Christmas Midas....that is the last dime youll get from me! (The only reason they received 2 stars from me is because of the receptionists hospitality. Other than that....zero stars!)
