Its old, but its big and secure. And they have good rates and the staff is friendly and accommodating. I was running a little late and they allowed me to move my stuff in anyway!

This place gave me a fright. Im not gonna lie when I went with my friends I thought they were joking. Its run down to the point of holes in the ceilings and creaking almost thin floors. Most of the units the lights wont work but the prices are I guess fair and the customer service is very friendly

This is a great place to store your things if you dont have a lot of money. My favorite thing that they offer is free clean up of your locker when you move out. I moved out today and they had no problem discarding a mattress and some empty boxes I had to leave behind. Although the mattress was new when I stored it there, it was covered in mouse feces and urine by the time I moved out. They told me I should take a loss since I signed their contract when I move in, and it clearly states that they are in no way responsible for the condition of their building, even rodent and cockroach infestations. So Im glad they were happy to take care of the clean out at no extra charge!

A lot of the paint chips and a lot of dirt are all over my bins and bags and no one offered to clean it they gave me a vacuum so I could clean it I just cleaned what I was looking for that day, but all my stuff is still in there theyre charging me $60 a month for basically a closet size. its really sad. I will post some pics soon

I had been renting a Unit for almost 2yrs. The Only Real negativeexperience was my Last day moving,which was Today 8/1/16. I was told that I had to pay my storage fee for the month,but it would be pro-rated,which meant,I had to go get the $$$, come back,hand Betty the $$$,only to have her turn right around and hand me the $$$ back to me(-$1.79). I told her,I will just give you $2.00 as long as I dont have to go drive to the bank or ATM machine,I would even give her $5.00,just so Im not wasting my gas and time for this senseless transaction. I asked her to please try and make rational,logical sense to me,why were going through this motion,procedure??? Betty,told me,if I owned a business,I would understand! Well,I do understand this about business-1)Customer satisfaction is very important,I also Understand the BEST advertisement is FREE its known as Word of Mouth most people are familiar with it. I tried to Give this Place the pro-rated $1.79 (actually,offered to give them $2.00 and keep the change)!!! But No,I had to go get The entire month Fee. WHY??? I was tentative because you can only access your storage unit during business hours. But given the area, it makes sense that no one can just wander around unsupervised. All of the units are inside but I can still drive right in to easily unload. Also, the staff is super friendly.

They Need to CHANGE there hours because i was informed instead of closing @4! U CANT get in your Unit if its 3:45, clearly even if u ONLY have a Few things like i did 2Day i Told the RUDE Women it would literally only take me 10minutes @The Most, but she felt better to just say NO! The other lady is Much more friendlier then the Blonde i have had many conversations with her so its whatever I just wanted to give an ACCURATE SUGGESTION= Change your hours to 5:45 Or 3:45! So Customers wont have to waste there gas Thinking they still have 10 to 15mins only to be Turned Down!!

I heard about Classic Storage through my step mom. So I decided to try it out! It was a good choice for me since I would be on the road. I have peace of mind because I dont have to worry my belongings being messed with. The staff was also supper nice and helpful😊

This is my 2nd time using classic storage. The facility feels secure. Customer service is solid. I would recommend it if you are looking for something in the Detroit area. The hours are great but being open 7 days a week is helpful.

My son visited this business. The man who helped him was very helpful and took the time to show him around. The price for the unit my son asked about was $90 a month.

Ive been dealing with Classic Storage for many years now. The prices are reasonable and my items have remained safe. Ive always been able to work with them financially if I had any issues. Recently, the management changed and I was very leery at first because I didnt know what to expect and there was a lot to learn in the new documents/rental agreement. However, after calling and speaking with the representatives there, they clarified everything for me and I felt more reassured. So far, everything seems to be going ok. My favorite part of dealing with them is now I can make payments over the phone (previously, I had to mail in my payments or drop them off). This makes things so much more convenient for me. Thank you, Classic Storage!

I was misled about how protected my belongings were; I discovered that flooding at the building caused massive humidity inside the building and all of my books, photographs, vinyl records and papers were ALL destroyed!They promised that they had never had ANY customer complaints about damaged property,and that my stuff would be absolutely safe and sound. This was my primary concern, and I should have been more skeptical but I went with Classic Storage, and I paid almost $2,000 to have all of my belongings are ruined.After trying to sell me hard on their reliability and dependability but when I went to them and informed them about my damaged property, they refused any form of help, apology or effort to make the wrong righted in any way.They know that I cant even get a couple guys to go through my stuff and separate the ruined things from the that which is worth saving yet and in the meantime they continue to charge me full price to now store my RUINED things.Find somewhere else...definitely dont buy their lies. The insurance they did offer would have charged me $70/month for $1,000 of coverage, so over 1 year later I would have paid nearly the entire $1,000 insurance that they would have given me.Now my things are stuck there, but I still dont know what is good, bad or ugly!
