We had a great time renting a pontoon boat today. Lots of fun hanging out at Crab Island.

We drove fast. We swam at crab island. We fed the birds. We blasted music. We flew kites. There was also an ice cream merchant boating around. Cool experience.

Absolutely wonderful to deal with. I made a mistake about the day our rental was a half hour before we were to be at our rental and they so graciously let us come the next day. They were so helpful and nice. Great prices. Well worth it.

I was trying to find a rental for the same day. Everyone was booked but Luther had a cancellation so I lucked out and got it. This was a great place! Parking is literally right next to the dock. They came to the car and loaded the boat for us. They gave us all the instruction we needed about the boats. No mechanical problems, or any other problems. And when returning, they have it set up so you have a whole slip to dock in, so there’s not too much pressure about ramming any other boats.

We did a 2 hour jet ski rental on Tuesday. We loved it so much that we did 3 hours on Thursday! Great location to crab island. Owner & employees were all amazing & friendly. The skis were new models. And above all the great things we experienced, they were even cheaper than other places!

The crew is awesome! Don’t forget to tip them! We had a wonderful time. There are places on the dock that cook your catch.

Our first time driving and riding in a pontoon with our 3 year old…the staff here made it a fun and easy experience! Built in Bluetooth speakers on the boat were awesome for playing music. It did rain in the middle of our trip but it was so cool being out on the water during that and watching those clouds roll in. People still swam around crab island during the rainstorm. Our toddler had a blast on this boat ride.

Second time using this great group of people! We went on the pontoon once last year and loved it so much we went twice this year! The boats are clean and well maintained, the check in process is fast and efficient and the guys on the docks are fun, professional, respectful and helpful. We come from Illinois, with friends, and this is who they have always used. They are absolutely the outfit wed choose, again!

After lots of research to find the best pontoon rental we decided to book with Luthers. So glad we did because this was the easiest and best experience! The moment we pulled up we were greeted by Kyle and he made us feel like family! We parked and he got a cart and packed all of our things from the car and placed them onto the boat for us while doing it with a smile. He was constantly making sure we had everything we needed and did his best to accommodate all of our needs. He had no problem blowing up our inflatable tubes and bringing them to the boat for us. All the workers were exceptional and will totally be renting from them again! Thank for the great memories you allowed us to make!

Great experience! Rented a kayak a couple days ago. The equipment was in great shape and we had a lot of fun. The location is perfect. We appreciated being greeted as we pulled up. Parking can be a little crazy and tight but they helped us find a place to park when they greeted us. They were very attentive and helpful. We will definitely be coming back!

Our rental from Luther’s was great!! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.I’ve never rented or driven a pontoon boat before and was a bit anxious; however, the whole process was extremely simple. Luther’s provides great guidance through the experience from YouTube videos, answering questions via phone, and 1:1 walkthrough of the boat prior to the departure. The staff was clear with communication and their helpfulness was top notch. Our coolers, floats, and bags were loaded for us as we got out of the car. They even inflated a couple floats we brought! The hands definitely earn their tips!!We took a risk and went out on the water when the weather was 50/50 rain chance. While out on the water, it started raining so we brought the boat back in. Luther’s provided a refund for the unused portion of the trip. Will definitely rent again on our next trip to Destin/Crab Island!!

Great place to rent pontoons , we rented a pontoon and it was so much better than the other places in years past we rented from. Will use Luthers next time we come. Staff was so great and very friendly and helpful. Prices are great too.

What a great company! All the employees we interacted with were very informative, polite and all around very cool people, and the pup was the icing on the cake. We created great memories with our family in that 4 hour ride. I highly recommend Luthers!

Myself and 3 girlfriends headed off for a day out after hurricane Ida (and Mindy). We were nervous, but excited. Upon arrival we were greeted by two gentlemen employees that directed us to a close by parking spot. As soon as we parked they had a cart waiting on us to help us unload all of our bags onto. They saw we brought two deflated floats and they immediately took them and filled them with air for us. They rolled our cart straight to our boat and helped us all on board while unloading all of our over packed bags and ice chest. We all filled out our safety forms online, so the only thing left was to do was for our captain to fill out her safety forms (2 minutes and done). Once on the pontoon, they gave us a quick but thorough run down of rules and safety information. Made sure that all of us knew where the life jackets were. We asked about better areas to go and best to stay away from. They advised of an area that is very popular, but the last two days they were swarmed with jellyfish. So thankful for that info! Before we knew it we were on our way! We found our perfect destination and then unrolled our Lilly pad that we rented from them (highly recommended!). After spending a fabulous day in the sun, it was time to head back. We rolled up our lilly pad (yes, ladies, you can do it! Don’t be intimidated. It was so much fun!), and headed back. Approaching our dock, workers were standing there waiting for us with a cart. They helped us unload everything, provided us with a garbage bag to throw our Walmart bags of garbage in, and they pushed the cart to the car and loaded everything back up, all while asking us all about trip and making sure we had the best time. All of these services were included. They made us feel like we were getting special treatment, but that’s just how they do business! If you’ve ever considered renting a boat for a day, or two, this is the place to go. I will for sure be back. Can’t recommend this place enough.

2nd experience with this business and they are great. Nice equipment and great service. Greet you at your vehicle and load your gear onto the boat with carts as well as unload it at the end of your trip. Tip the young men good, you’ll be happy. Prices are great as well.

Rented a beautiful pontoon boat yesterday and had a blast until we were rained out. Received a full refund of the rest of our time with no issues! Wonderful service and very dog friendly. They even came and brought my little corgi a dog biscuit at the beginning of our trip. If we come back to Destin we will definitely come back to Luthers!

A storm was rolling in on the morning we rented a pontoon. The staff was more than accommodatingWith adjusting our time to leave and the deck hands were very helpful in loading and unloading. Boat was clean and well taken care of. Very good experience

Rented a pontoon boat for our family vacation and it was awesome. They had people to help unload all of our stuff to put on the boat. They even blew up our inflatables. The young man gave great info on how to drive the boat and best places to go to. There are so many rental places in Destin but I am so glad we chose Luther’s. Great customer service! Amazing company. We have rented pontoons from them for last 6 years (1-2 times each year). Guys that help load and unload boat are always super nice. This year was best experience ever which is hard to top considering we have loved every visit. The boat was AMAZING, guys helping load and unload cool and very nice. Cannot say enough we highly recommend them over any of their competition (trust us we have tried a lot of them before finding Luthers)! We rented a 24’ pontoon for an afternoon and had a great time! As others have said, the guys on the dock moved all our gear to & from the boat which was really helpful. All the staff members were super friendly. The boat was in great shape and I appreciated the 90hp outboard. Plenty of power for a full load of people and gear on choppy water.Getting in and out of the marina can be tricky depending on boat traffic. We are experienced boaters so it wasn’t too much trouble, but it could definitely be intimidating for a beginner…and not many other boaters on the bay seemed to understand things like right of way and overtaking and no-wake zones. Please familiarize yourself and take a boaters safety course if you’re new to boating. Then go to Luther’s and have a fun day on the water!

We had an amazing experience with Luther’s Pontoon Rental ! We arrived and they helped us unload our bags and put them on the boat for us . They gave us instructions and even gave us directions for the places we wanted to go ! When we returned they asked us about our day and got all of our things off the boat and helped us load our cars back up ! Everyone there was extremely nice and helpful ! We had the best day and will definitely be renting from here again when back in Destin!

We rented waverunners from Luthers Pontoon and it was a blast! The staff was thorough in their instructions, the waverunners were in great condition, and the area we could go was large enough to have some real fun without large waves.

What a great experience. I did all our booking from home in Bowling Green KY. The website made it so easy, and kept me up to date via email. Luther’s was very easy to find and had great parking. My reservation was ready when we walked up, and the friendly staff loaded all our gear for four adults and five teenagers. We had rented the 28 foot pontoon boat “Josephine “. There was plenty of under seat space for all our gear, which left us plenty of deck room to move around. We cruised out to Crab Island and had a blast for about five hours. We got day passes for all the teenagers at the “Treasure Chest” obstacle course @ $35 each. They had a blast. They passed out on the way back to the condo. Upon our return the staff helped us unload and get everything back to the vehicles. An experience we will do again on our next trip to Destin.

Hassle-free experience!We rented a jet ski in the morning and a pontoon boat in the afternoon. Loved it! Rented a boat again for the whole day. Loved it again!Crab island sandbar is overrated unless you like crowds. We found our own sandbar and a wild beach with no people around. We played with dolphins in one bayou and docked our boat in another bayou to have a lunch in a nice restaurant. Go explore!The only downside is that a rental boat cannot be taken past the Mid-Bay Bridge. This substantially limits the opportunities to visit places like Baytowne Wharf, Nick’s Seafood restaurant, etc.

We had the best time. Scenery is beautiful! Even saw dolphins!

The issues I would like to identify are broken canopy support beams, non-working gauges (fuel & odometer), gate doors (will not close), etc.....The ease of getting two pontoons and being assisted by the staff with our personal belongings was greatly appreciated.

Such a fun day at Crab Island in Destin, FL. The pontoons were fairly priced. They were on the older side, but well maintained. Very friendly & quick staff.

Rented a pontoon from Luthers to do some exploring and find a secluded spot to drop anchor and chill. The pantoon had a BT head unit to pair our devices and play our music, the boat while older was well maintained and had a new 90hp 4-stroke (plenty of power) the customer service was outstanding! They assisted with loading and unloading of all our equipment and drinks. Will definitely use Luthers for any future rentals in Destin.

This is our second time in 3 years renting a pontoon from Luthers in destin. Both times we had the exact same EXCELLENT service. I have worked in the marina business my whole life and the company I work for also rents pontoon boats as well. I can say this is a company that has a system that works great. The service starts when you pull up and have someone waiting to show you where to park, then immediately bringing a cart and loading your coolers and equipment up and taking it to the boat for you. a quick easy sign in process, quick tutorial and your off!. The same service checking back in as well. For what its worth, I took the time to walk the harbor docks and look at the other rental companies boats just incase I would try another company someday. I found that the compatitions boats have duct tape on all the seat skins holding them together and the boats were in general very rough condition. I did not check price so it may be cheaper and some customers may be ok with that.All in All I would give them sixth star if I could!

4th visit and had a great time, as always. Our only complaint is their parking. Honestly its not their fault, its just the way that it is. That being said, they go above & beyond to help anyone with parking, transporting luggage to and from their rentals and they even gave my partially handicapped relative a ride in a golf cart so that my relative didnt have to walk to the restroom that was pretty far away. We will definitely be coming back to use them in the future and highly recommend to others! Great job staff at Luthers!

Luthers was amazing that was the most fun Ive ever had on vacation with my family. The staff and Luthers were super friendly and very helpful A+ customer service. My boys, 2 and 4, had an absolute blast jumping off at the little beaches and swimming around crab island. Its been awhile since Ive driven a boat but the pontoon boat was really easy to get the hang of and the bay was a breeze to navigate. This is definitely a must do while staying in Destin.

Luthers Pontoon, Waverunners, & Kayaks Rentals is the best!! We have used their services twice now and this is the only place we will rent a waverunner from in Destin. Workers are always super friendly and helpful! The pricing is good compared to other rentals.

Super nice people! We were 30 minutes late to our reservation, got lost in the fog, and ended up coming back later than designated. They did not charge us extra, and even helped us unload/load our stuff.

Its driving me crazy counting off the days for our familys 3rd annual Gulf vacation and visit to Luthers! Every year theyve been the highlight of our vacation. Lil John, Mom, and all the staff on the dock are the nicest folks youd ever care to do business with. The boats are in great shape, reasonably priced, and John is always ready with some fishing advice or good recommendations for us (where to eat, new stuff to do, etc.). We hold them in high esteem and cant wait to get back down there on one of their boats!

We had a GREAT experience with the service we got with using Luthers as it was our first trip ever to Crab Island. We rented a pontoon for 4 hours but once we got out there we wanted to stay longer so we gave them a call and asked if we were able to keep the boat a couple more hours and they were like “sure” and it didn’t cost us much more. The deckhands were fantastic and very informative, polite. Definitely would use them again!! Thanks for making our trip so easy!

Theres no better place to rent from in Destin. You cant beat the price, online booking, or the helpful staff at Luthers. We arrived early because with the local traffic you just never know if a short drive will take 5 minutes or 30. We paid in advance for a 20 foot pontoon boat and since we were early and ready to go we were given a 24 footer, fuel included, and were set off almost an hour before schedule. This was our second time renting from Luthers and it wont be the last.

Super helpful and caring staff. Take care of their customers and equipment. We had to park in the upper parking and they graciously volunteered to take the golf cart up to help us with our coolers and bags. Will definitely use them again in future.

This was an awesome excursion. I cant speak highly enough of the staff. Very friendly, knowledgeable and educational. Well worth the money. The sunset was beautiful and we even saw some dolphins.

We had so much fun on Luthers Pontoon Boat! The company had the boat disinfected and clean for us. The employees were so nice and helpful. They meet us at our vehicle and loaded our things into a cart and took it to the boat were they unloaded it for us. When we returned from our day on the water they loaded our things and took it back to our vehicle. I highly recommend this company! They are top notch!

Amazing trip to Crab Island was made easy by the entire staff at Luthers. The paperwork ahead of time and online tutorials made the pre-trip briefing quick. The pontoon boat was clean and in good condition. 5 hours of fun on the bay to celebrate our 25th anniversary.

Simple and easy ! Boat was ready to go, we hopped right on. Once we returned they said not to worry about anything and we got right off and walked 20 yards to our truck while they carried our cooler and belongings! So accommodating! Thanks Luthers staff!
