Dropped my car off Saturday morning 8:00 sharp upon opening for alignment, was told it would take two hours. Called at 10:00, not done, no big deal, itll be ready in two hours. Called at 12:00, still not done but will be done in two hours. Was dropped off at the shop 2:15 to find out alignment still had not been done and that the guy was doing a test drive and would be right back. I had been told the same thing each time on the phone. Half a dozen guys sitting around watching football. Gentleman I delt with had a rather flippant attitude. They had my car six hours and did nothing. Took my keys and left. Thanks for wasting my Saturday. Dont go here for anything other than an oil change.

Awesome people and an amazing service. Ive been coming to this shop for the past 3 years or so. And during that time I never had anything but positive experience. Their prices are very competitive. I live in Niceville, but I always come to this shop for any non-dealership related services. Jaime is my go-to advisor for any tire related questions. Hes very knowledgeable and always willing to help.

We were in the Destin area while on vacation and were experiencing car issues. Express Oil Change was the only repair shop that was willing to even diagnose the issue within a day or two. The 6 other repair shops we talked to said it would be almost a week. We were scheduled to return home 1000 miles within 3 days so time was of the essence. Express Oil Change got us up and running the same day and we got home safe and sound. Thanks for everything we were in a real bind!

My family has three vehicles, and we have all had problems after getting our oil changed with this location. When I heard this happened the first time and even the second time, I brushed it off as a couple of bad experiences - could happen to anyone. But now that it has happened on all three of our vehicles, I wont be returning. I brought my vehicle into a shop I trust when I noticed the oil was leaking after my last service and received the following report:Drain plug crush washer was reused and over-tightened.My shop told me I basically need to pay an extra $160 to do a new oil change as they are going to have to drain it in order to repair.

I’ve been coming here for years. I don’t know what’s happened. The last two times I’ve been there, in my brand new car, they have botched the oil change. The first time it resulted in 4 quarts of black oil for n my driveway within 24 hours of service. I took it to the dealer and they confirmed it was a loose plug that was not properly tightened. This last time I came in on Thursday, left, and noticed a strange smell coming from the vents on start. Didn’t think anything. Then I start smelling gas. Then I get max engine speed 4,000 rpm and epc error followed by the scar screaming error codes about oil pressure loss pull over immediately. So I did. Puddle of oil under my car again. This time I made it 48 whole hours and my car has to be towed to the dealer and I can’t wait to see how torn up it is. Unbelievable. Will be reporting to the bbb. I will never be back and will make sure everyone I know in this town never comes here again.

Oil change was fine asked if there where oil leaks was told no, that there was just dirt that they cleaned off, being the handy guy I am i.e a heavy industrial refrigeration technician. I decided to take that splash shield off and double check after oil change, rear main seal leaking like a siv, oil cooler line also, so after replacing said parts and pressure washing for hours to get my truck clean there are now no confirmed leaks! Can they handle a oil change and not completely f$;& it up? yes, would I still double check and go to a real Mechanic that will inspect your car and appreciate your business absolutely!

Service was good but a 3 star for not topping off my air after a tire repair. Repair tire was at 36 psi while the others were at 31/32, would be good sending off a customer with well filled tires.

Dropped my car off for an oil change and tire rotation. The oil was changed, updated my cars oil gage to show 100%, sticker was also changed. My tires were rotated in the right rotation. I also keep one tire marked to make sure it is changed to next spot. There were no appointments available, however, I dropped the car off and it was finished within the hour. Would definitely recommend!

I’m visiting Miramar Beach from Columbus, Ohio. I needed an oil change. I usually go to Valvoline. I didn’t find any here.I found Express, read the positive reviews and went to the express oil change in Destin.Brandon was my initial contact. He was friendly ,knowledgeable, and had a good attitude.Business was brisk, but I didn’t have to wait long. Service Tech Trinity observed friendly coolant on my radiator hose and determined the coolant was quite lowI’m really thankful that was detected and , replaced in just over an hour at a reasonable price in a timely manner , and I was safely on my way.I told the Mngr., Denzel how impressed I was with Brandon and Trinity, himself and The Destin Express oil.I do recommend them., James E . Express Oil change and tire, are courteous , helpful and efficient. They even replaced my wiper blades that I had brought in to them. An aside is I didnt realize they sold them there. They have had other times done a great job on my mechanical problems.

Had the oil changed and the next day, noticed service engine light. Went back to see if it had anything to do with the oil change. They scoped it (at no cost) and found a fuel pressure sensor problem. They got it right in, ordered the part and I was good to go in a couple of hours. The nearest dealer needed nearly two weeks for an appointment! The total cost was very reasonable too. Jaime, the service adviser, was so nice and friendly, along with all the other members at this location.

Every other place in Destin- “sorry I can’t get you for another week, only have one dude in the back.”Express- “you can stay in the car, this will take 10 minutes.”Seriously don’t waste your time going anywhere else, Nathan helped me change my oil, rotate my tires, and change a taillight in about half an hour. Been taking all of are work vehicles here for oil changes and my personal ones also always friendly service and the prices on oil changes arent bad either yes you could do it yourself for about $30 to $40 cheaper but its worth it not to have to worry about it.

They were great! They were willing to work us in before closing and when they realized the problem wasnt one they could fix they sent us on our way without charging a dime for looking at our vehicle.

Not hard to get you if youre going eastbound but you might miss it so pay attention to Google maps. Service was quick and price was fair.

Not the cheapest option but definently a good one, especially when we have a huge list of errands its nice to stop in and be out in 10 minutes with an oil change and quick inspection. Plus they dont push unnecessary services.

Went in for an oil change, figured they were done when I was told to start the car and went through checking lites an turn signals, was told to shut off the engine and they checked the oil and discovered they had not put any oil in. Hope there was no damage to the engine.

Had a GREAT experience here. Two days ago we had our oil changed here. They were so professional, courteous, and fast, that we have now returned to have our front end aligned, and have the air conditioning serviced.During the oil change Chris noticed that the oil plug was partially stripped, and he replaced it and installed our windshield wipers at no charge! He also cleaned our windows without being asked.We have lived near Destin for 15 years and had no idea of all the automotive sevices that Express Oil provided!I highly recommend Express Oil to everyone around the Destin area, and especially tourists needing any kind of automotive service or repairs. Great place. Get in an out quick every time Ive been there. I bring my own oil and filter because Im picky and they are happy to accommodate me each time.

I had low pressure in one of my tires and simply brought my vehicle in to add air to the tire. Angela was very friendly and helpful and had James inspect my tire before adding air. James immediately found a nail in my tire. Instead of just putting a plug in the nail hole, he carefully inspected my tire to be sure there were no other leaks before putting it back on my vehicle. I was very impressed with the service I received.

I came here because my dad is always bring his cars here. I don’t drive yet but no body would help me put air in my tire and fix my chain that popped off on my bicycle. I pushed my bicycle there and they aired up my tire and fixed my chain. I told my dad what happen and that I wanted to send a good message so thank you for helping me!

I specifically picked this place due to their high rating on google reviews. I Called ahead around 4pm to make sure I could have a tire repaired without an appointment. I was told no appointment was necessary. I asked if they we too busy for me to come down and he said they were not too busy. Immediately drove 20 minutes in the rain and traffic. As soon as I pulled up another worker told me they would not have time to fix the tire. I mentioned I just called ahead and was told no problem in coming in. He apologized and said there was no way they could do it. I told him whoever answers they phone in this place should have better communication if they want to keep a good reputation. Drove 20 minutes back in traffic and rain. 40 minutes of my day wasted.

Purchased a new car a few months ago and need to get it serviced. I brought my car here and everyone was so helpful. They made sure my car was 100% ready to go. Please go check them out.

Have used them for a long time with different vehicles, had an oil change there Christmas Eve before my trip and had oil leaking from filter from day one. Got home took in a factory filter up there they switched out the filters toped off the oil and checked to nake sure all was good and no charge. Theyre awesome

Came in for an oil change, it was very quick like they said. Learned quite a bit about my car too! Denzel and Shawn were awesome, they topped off all my fluids so now I don’t have to go buy bug wash! I never knew about an air filter so I got a new one since mine was extremely dirty. We did a tire rotation and I’ll be back next week to buy tires and do my brakes! These guys in Destin are excellent! They are a full service auto repair shop and not just oil changes. Could not have asked for a better experience! Angela, James, and Rodney were great. Felt like an old school honest repair shop. We drove in from Nashville for vacation. On the way, our expedition began misfiring and the check engine light was on. I called on a Saturday morning and they got me in immediately. James checked it out and gave me an honest assessment of what it likely was, the causes and what my alternatives were. Even told me that I would probably be fine driving it until I got back home but they were happy to make the repairs. ZERO pressure to fix it, but at same time was very realistic as he explained it. We then stood around with Rodney (lead mechanic), James (primary mechanic) and Angela (shop manager) and discussed best course of action. They gave me a very fair price quote and got right to work. Within 3 hours, they called and truck was ready. James had driven it then retested and noted some additional issues with a spark plug he had installed. He found that it was a bad new spark plug so he replaced that. Their actual work came in less than the original quote. Overall, just could not have had a better experience to be on vacation and have car trouble. Would highly recommend Express to anyone. I was very impressed. Everyone in their shop was very nice and courteous. Thank you James, Rodney and Angela!

First time I took my Mini Cooper to get an oil change they used the wrong coolant to top off the coolant which costed me a new water pump and radiator. Stopped today to fix a nail in a tire and it took the guy forever. He moved so slow I had to look a few times to make sure he was not sleep. Will not be returning to this place.

I have been coming here for the last two years for a oil change and on my LAST visit I inquired if they did brakes. The Technician (AP) said they did and it would be less than $100 for the front, then he checked and said no for my Ford Explorer it was $170. I said the mechanic close to my house quoted me $385. He said WOW looks like someone is ripping you off. So I drove 30 minutes for a quote of $474.89. They knew I had to have brakes so they got me for $524.52 out the door.Wonder why no one trust mechanics, possibly lie more than politicians and lawyers. Should have stayed with my local guy. Now he gets my oil change business!

Thought I needed a front tire alignment. The tech checked it out and determined it was not out of alignment. One tire was causing the pull to the right. Swapped the front tires. Problem solved. Doubled checked for tight lug nuts. No charge. Honest service when it was a perfect opportunity to take advantage of the situation for an out-of-town customer.

Best experience I have ever had at a auto repair shop and I have tried several around this area. Oil changes literally take 10 min and you just sit inside your car while they change it--you dont even have to get out to pay--they come to you! And $5 off for ladies on Tuesdays. Hands down the most excellent customer service. I was stunned.

Had a two nails in one tire and a hole in the other. Called Friday and ordered my tires, on a busy Saturday morning the guys had me out in under an hour with an oil change, two new tires, mounted balanced and rotated. Great work to the team working 5/19/18, 10-11am (forgot names)

My AC quite working so I took my truck here to have them check it out. After spending some time troubleshooting and topping off my refrigerant, they deduced I had an issue with the compressor. They recommended I take my truck to a dealer for repair as it would most likely be cheaper and faster then what they could do. So they sent me on my way and charged me nothing. How I wish all mechanics could be so upfront and honest. I felt like I really should have paid something; I had two guys working on it for 20 minutes and as I mentioned, they top off my refrigerant as well. Highly recommended!

Excellent, prompt service. Angela was incredibly helpful and James the gentleman who did the work was awesome. They even were nice enough to pick me up at bestbuy when it started raining during the service. Best prices I have been able to find. I went in for brakes on my Silverado and ended up getting tires too since it was such a great experience.

Bad ! They refused to change oil on my bus, but they did before many times. Employees said owners has been changed, then they won’t service buses. Hey , money always and anywhere is green!!! Not recommended! Walmart much better and cheaper

I have purchased a new battery and have had my brakes replaced at Express and I have to say that I am very impressed with their people and the service provided.I was in and out in about 30 minutes for the battery. The brake job took a bit longer but they checked out my car and gave me the cost for replacement in about 15 minutes.The service personnel are very friendly and they all know what they are talking about.I would not hesitate to send someone to them for any vehicle needs.I will return to them when I need them again.
