Workers are so good with every customer . I love theyre so helpful ! They really know how to make you feel like a first class shopper!

Pretty nice workers. Usually gets the new stuff. Everytime you go theres only like one cash register open tho. Also kinda dirty looking.

The hours are listed as being open at 8 but when I got there, there was a big hand-written sign stating that the hours have changed AGAIN. I love the store but the constantly changing hours is a great inconvenience.

You should probably update your hours online instead and of a poorly written sign on the door! Online it says youre open until 9, yet you closed at 6 on a Friday. Ill spend my money elsewhere, because the poor customer service definitely overshadows the savings.

Well stocked store. I go several times a week. Every time I get greeted with enthusiasm from Stephanie, Laci or whomever is working. Ill probably drive across town to this particular store.

Love Dollar Trees in general, however, this location, is one of my favorites.

The ONLY place to buy balloons in Des Moines. Seriously, balloons for a dollar. I wont go anywhere else. The store could use a facelift, they arent putting the profits back into their space or the quality of their products, but youre buying stuff for a dollar. Its either cheaply made or in smaller quantities than a more expensive item. Not for everyone, but its a teachers dream store.

I LOVE DOLLAR TREE!!! this one is stocked full of absolutely anything you could use.We always buy hot glue sticks and awesome crafts from here. Also a wonderful place to pick up movie snacks.

Absolutely great, name brands to watch for, usually a few ounces less than store brand. Mostly worth more than a $1. Sometimes they have 2 for $1. B Expiration date never expired, store clean and organized. All employees are helpful and nice, with some exceptional.

Has a lot of different things I look for however I had a family member that needed to use the restroom and they told him he would have to go somewhere else. This was on Merle hay road in Des Moines Iowa so not sure all dollar tree stores are like this. I personally decided they didn’t need my business because we needed to leave for a restroom. Most places allow you to use their employee restroom but just don’t advertise it. Hope this is a one time experience

Its a great place to go to look for seasonal items, greeting cards, pet toys and basic cleaning or school supplies. Its usually pretty busy and I almost always find something unexpected while Im there (today was 30 tablets of migraine relief medicine for $1.00). Because its so well traveled, the aisles tend to get messy and crowded. It can take a few minutes to check out because people tend to purchase many things and they tend to run 1-2 registers at a time. All in all, if you like to browse and can spare a few minutes to wait in line, this is a great store for the value.

The gentleman who was at register had 9 people in line there was 4 other employees that could of come up to help him out but did not for some reason think it was important enough to help their customers the gentleman. At register had us all done and out in less then 5 mins. He deserves a raise and or a better job who appreciates him.......thanks mister fir what u do everyday...

I absolutely love going to the Dollar Tree, but this one not so much. It’s close to my house but Every time I go in there are always boxes in the way up and down the isles, I’ve tripped over them once trying to move to let other shoppers through, always disorganized and never stocked right, and when I say stocked I mean they have this throw all spot seems if they don’t have a place for it or do know where it goes they just throw it there, (in bin where cell phone cases are). I have sat stuff down on a shelf because I’ve decided I didn’t need it then can back a few days later and the items are still in the same spot! I honestly think that this store needs a new set of employees including the mangers. Get someone that cares enough about the store and the people that go in there that it would be clean and stocked the correct way. Or they need re trained but something needs to be fixed here.

I have been to Dollar Trees before, but this Particular one on Merle Hay road takes the cake! That is the most professional staff and people Ive ever encountered in a discount store. I will be doing business there for many many years to come! Thank you guys.

They are charging for bags now? With their unfriendly attitudes? This store on Merl Hay sucks. Is go out of my way for better Sirvice. If they dont like their job, they should pick a different career!

The worst Dollar Tree my wife and I have ever been in, hardly any merchandise on the shelves however they got a backroom full. The manager had a really bad attitude but we notice it was only when he was dealing with peoples of color. Thats really sad this day and age I thought that weve gotten past that type of behavior, however some peoples dont want to change. We will never go back there to shop and I hope people that believe in change will do the same!!

Same as always. I do usually find what Im look on ng for. Best place for cards, wrapping paper, paper supplies, arts and crafts and junky stuff for kids. I prefer Dollar Tree to other dollar stores.

Its a dollar tree. Everythings a dollar. The selectio. At this location is very limited. It seems that they 1- do bot properly stock shelves, 2- are not properly order for, or 3- a very busy location, or 4- all of thee above. I often have to go to another location to get what I need.

Dollar Tree is where you go to stock up on cheap stuff. You shouldnt expect great ambiance or service and you wont get it. Checking out was even slower than usual last night, but you get what you pay for. Expecting it be br different is setting yourself up for resentments.

At one time the store was stocked and clean. Now the last few months its always trashed and 70% of the shelves are empty. Whats going on?! Employees are very friendly.

Friday afternoon at 5:30 theres only one cashier in the whole place. They have no restrooms and told me to use the bathroom at some laundromat three doors down.

Good deals, but could use more check out help this time of year. Very busy.

Only been there once the weekend before Xmas. It was a madhouse, they do have cool things the other Dollar trees dont have

This location has the worst employees at the register, rude and inappropriate conversations. And the store ALWAYS looks like a warehouse, nothing put away, boxes in the aisles not much on the shelves. Going to a different location next time!

Store set up is weird, everything else is great

Customer service is bad. I came into the store and the cashier just stared me down with no greeting or smile. She didnt ask if I needed help considering she was not busy.Update: line is long and they only got one cashier. 8/20/19 at 6pm

Lots of stuff, everything $1 but crowded aisles and sometimes difficult to find what youre looking for. But persevere - youll find it!

The only thing that I did not like about my visit there was that on the ground there was a dead rat that a person had ran over and it looled like it happened recently

First of all you cant use the restrooms cuz theyre always under repair today they had three checkouts one running a register and two standing there gossiping the register person called for help three times nobody showed up

No public testroom...completely unacceptable.
