Don’t think I’ll be back. Came in today with my daughter and it was a mess. Could barely fit down some aisles with a cart and had to tell my daughter to be careful several times walking through the aisles. Also still had 50% signs up still that ended yesterday.

The cashier was nice but when she called her manager up to help her and ask her a question the manager was snippy and said to her what do you need? in a snarky tone and rolling her eyes. She was an unappealing person lol

The William St., Cheektowaga store is often messy. Aisles at times blocked with unpacked merchandise. Appears this store is either understaffed or too lazy to keep shelves filled. At times sections are completely empty. I cant remember that location ever appearing neat. Ive been in other Dollar General stores far neater. If unpacked boxes are out they are set stacked at the end of an aisle not blocking anything.

Tried to load my paypal card an my money still ismt on there after a week iv been tryna reach paypal fraud because the money was never loaded if ya know what i mean.

This store always seems a little hectic and just a bit disorganized, but the staff are very helpful and friendly, and its obvious theyre always doing their best to keep the store clean and stocked. Products are priced well and they have some surprisingly awesome finds (especially in the snack area! Stuff youve never heard of but sounds, and tastes, amazing) 😃Not DGs fault at all, btw, but as a side note, Id probably shop here MUCH more often if the parking lot didnt suck so much. Unless you park along the back side, its basically impossible to maneuver into/out of a parking spot at any time of day or night. They also share one of their driveways with a McDonalds and a weirdly-placed traffic light, so, yeah. 😐

I visited to get some sale items. I was able to buy what I wanted along with another item. Their prices are reasonable for even the things that are not on sale. The store is clean and very organized. The cashier was pleasant, friendly, and helpful. I purposely walked around to see what they stocked. So many things. I cant believe I havent shopped there in many years. I will definitely will return.

Love Dollar General as a whole but this location bites. Came here today to pick up 5 things and ALL 5 were out of stock. Crazy. This store is also much dirtier than the ones on Southwestern (at Angle) and Union (at French). Corporate needs to whip this store into shape.

Smaller store is laid out a bit different but loaded with merchandise. Good deals. Nice gentleman at checkout.

This is probably the nicest Dollar general iv been in. I apsolutly love the products and deals. Also the ladys that work at this location are very kind and helpful but its always the same ones, they deserve some days off!

Bathroom was out of order found a few good deals couldnt find sugar wafers though no surprise nobody had in that week

Reasonable and personable

Cheap brand name cat litter and other pet supplies, an outrageous amount of cleaning supplies and room sprays, brand name as well as generic, that beat Walmart or the grocery store price. They even have their own line of cheapy cosmetics, with surprisingly good colors, and heavy pigmented eyeshadows for 3 bucks each. They actually have a much bigger selection of deodorants and body sprays than rite aid, CVS, and Walgreens put together. Way cheaper, too. For example, a calgon body spray is 5.95-6.99 at the above named places, and the same product is 3.50 at DG. They also have a bunch of 1- 2 dollar trial sizes, so you can try a few scents, and the drug stores seemed to have done away with those. I even found cute jeweled flip flops for 5 bucks, and a lightweight pajama set for summer for 10. Also, they carry the multi packs of mens soft, fitted Hanes t shirts, with all 3 black or white, instead of white, black, and grey. Its also reasonably priced at around 10 bucks. A much better value than target and walmarts tri colored packs for 15, when you only want one color. Sorry to ramble , but if you dont want to deal with the traffic and walking around Walmart and just want a quick, run in run out experience, and you want to avoid getting pinched for the essentials like pet food, toiletries, Lysol, etc, at the drug stores, then stop here at DG instead.
