I got my hair cut by Julie and she did a very good job! I wanted shoulder length with some framing pieces and it turned out so good! She explained each step and asked me if I liked how it looked to make sure I liked it. Over all just an amazing experience and as soon as I got there I was attended to. Very clean and beautiful space, 10/10 would recommend!!

She was very rude and seemed like shes in a rush. When I asked her if they do french she said its an extra 20 min of her time! and she doesnt have time. Didnt use cuticle oil. And when my hand was in the gel machine she said, once the machine is done you are good to go! So I asked what about lotion? And I know you guys doing massage since its not my first time getting gel mani here. She said very rude it doesnt come with a massage. The whole atmosphere was very unpleasant and unwelcoming.

Ive been coming here for a couple of years now. Appointments are easily made online or over the phone. The staff is friendly and youre always greeted when you arrive. Christina has always done an amazing job to trim my hair back to shoulder length when it starts to get too long.

Jo is amazing in every way. Shes a incredibly talented professional, and she goes above and beyond for her clients. She is so genuine and kind. You actually feel pampered, special, and heard. Jo has done my makeup for every occasion and for my wedding as well. I love how she does my eyebrows and finally got microblading plus shading. And omg, Im so obsessed. She made the whole process pretty painless.  Had the patience by taking her time to see what shape and color would make me the happiest. Im beyond happy with my new eyebrows and everyone keeps complimenting me on them too. Now I feel confident about not having any makeup on because my eyebrows are perfect. I highly recommend her. Not only for her beautiful work, but for the person she is. Her and her husband give back and make this world a better place. You can trust this salon with any service that you may want. And her staff is very kind and organized as well.

I always have a wonderful time when I go here. Cristela has become my regular person for haircuts. She knows that I’m trying to grow my hair out and really listens to what I want. She always shows me exactly what she is cutting off before she even does it to make sure I’m happy and explains the process to me as to why. When she’s done my hair always feels light and bouncy. I always come away with a great cut and style. As for nails I went to Cassie and she does an amazing job. I just showed her a picture of what I saw on Instagram and she duplicated it perfectly. Get an appointment in with her while you still can before leaves to LA in a month. She does amazing work. I’ll post photos of their work if I can figure out how.

If I could give it 10 stars I would. Hands down the best experience ever in a salon. Jo did my eyebrows right before the quarantine and I was in love. The atmosphere was classy, professional, and fun. She was easy to communicate with and had a blast chatting with her. My touch up was apart of the price and since the salon had to close I had to wait. I totally understood! She communicated with me while they were closed to make sure my healing process went well and answered any and all of my questions. I was priority when the salon opened to get my touch up. I am beyond happy with my brows. This is the first time in my almost 40years on this earth I can truly say I LOVE MY EYEBROWS. I am way more confident! Thanks Jo! Im so grateful for you and thank you for the amazing experience.

If you are looking for a new stylist, definitely give Andrew a try! I brought in a few pictures of what I was looking for and he talked me through what I need to do to achieve those pictures. He gave me beautiful face framing money piece highlights and darken my roots. His cutting skills are also amazing! He cut my hair with a razor and it has so much more shape and volume now!!

DO NOT GO HERE!!! i wanted highlights that were honey blonde and only about halfway up my hair. i came out completely blonde (i’m brunette) with bright silver streaks. the lady was also very rough and was aggressively brushing my hair to the point where my scalp was throbbing. she did not seem to understand what she was doing and blatantly ignored my requests although i showed her reference pictures throughout. i now hate looking at the mirror and have lots of damage. it was also extremely expensive and took almost 6 hours.

Always clean, the staff are always friendly and welcoming. tons of natural lighting which just makes the whole place feel really welcoming, too! Have never had a bad experience in the nearly two years Ive been coming here.

Christina is amazing. I would not trust anyone else with my cuts and colors!!! I moved out of the area and still travel every 5-6 weeks to see her. I love this salon. It’s always clean and it runs on time.

Salon Joa is amaaaazing! They have been so dedicated to their clients during COVID. They take all of the necessary precautions to make sure everyone stays healthy (and beautiful!). Appointment made for July 3, 2020 during this whole corona virus pandemic, the salon and staff members are performing as you would expect and hope for when coming in for a haircut. Wash you hands as soon as you enter and temperature check. Everyone is wearing a mask and social distance isnt a problem since the salon is pretty spacious. Cleanest salon Ive ever been to, coming from someone raised in Los Angeles. I dont think I have to speak on the quality of their work, but 100% 5 stars ever since my very first visit since moving here 2 years ago, Hoa is the man if want the best cleanest fades. I will recommend this place for anyone who absolutely needs to get a haircut after looking like a bum for several weeks like me. Only salon in Denver Ill ever go to.

Amazing customer service

It had nothing to do with the fact I was 5 minutes late. It was that both times I visited. You never greeted me. No hello, no interaction during the haircut with the person with whom you were cutting his hair. You were cold and distant. Also if the 5 minutes of lateness bothered you as a professional you should have addressed that with me. I could have discussed it with you and not heard it second hand.

Best Hair cutter I have found in the Denver area. Hoa Vu. A little out of the way for me but he gets me in and out without wasting time. Cant recommend this shop highly enough

I was a little nervous doing microblade/shading for first time but Jo did such an amazing job. She asked me all the time how I’m doing and if there was any pain. Great customer service from her. Can’t wait for my final results after the healing process.

I had a great haircut with Christina! It was clear she knew exactly how to work with my hair (I have straight, silky Asian hair) - I love the natural layers she gave me. She was very kind and personable and I enjoyed working with her. The UNITE Eurotherapy products they use for shampoo/conditioner/styling also feels and smells wonderful. The salon was very clean, bright, and inviting. I felt very comfortable being there because they closely implemented all the COVID safety procedures (masks for everyone, temperature checks, distancing between barber/stylist chairs, calling in before enter the salon, etc.). I will definitely be coming back!

I came in for a men’s haircut expecting the typical 45 minute wait and 30 minute men’s haircut. Christina cut my hair quick and to the point. Excellent service with Friendly staff and evironment,I was received with a warm welcoming and was able to sit while I waitied for my appointment time. I only had to wait since I arrived a little over 10 minutes early. I was acknowledged at my entrance right away by the wonderful receptionist lady at the front desk.I was then taken by Danielle on perfect time as a scheduled for my hari cut.Danielle was very considerate about the whole hair cut and very communicating about what would work best for the hair cut vision I had in mind. She was able to help me visualize what would work super well with my wild hair as I had not treated my hair in a while due to my pregnancy. I was given more treatment than I had expected for my cut. I had bronze/blonde ends and she used a little purple shampoo at the wash station to lighten them up a bit as I had not used it in a while. I was so relaxed throughout the whole process thanks to her kindness. My hair was super soft leaving, compared to how frizzy and rough I had brought it in. I would definetly recomend this Salon for punctuality, style, generosity and all excellent expetations. I am already looking forward to my next visit!

Very professional, and sanitary. The salon took the time to take extra safety precautions with Covid-19. I felt extremely comfortable even with everything going on currently.Jo microbladed my eyebrows, and they look phenomenal and they still need to heal. Extremely impressed.

The stylist, Felicia, was so friendly and did an incredible job taming my wild hair! The salon itself is spacious, bright and inviting. Ill definitely be returning!

I just moved to Denver and was looking for a new stylist. Salon Joa was within walking distance and it appeared to have a good vibe with lots of salon/spa options and stylists. I felt very welcomed when I walked in and was fortunate that the owner of the salon could fit me in right away. Great cut and attention to detail. I decided to try something new and had a little waxing done. They lady who worked with me was also very welcoming and really enjoyed working with clients. Very glad I found this awesome salon!

I was so excited to find a place where I could get a haircut and a pedicure at a reasonable price. I also really appreciated the online booking system... so simple and quick!

I was hoping to get Korean styled bangs, but they turned out a bit choppy (more American styled). I showed my hairdresser photos and videos of exactly how I wanted it cut and styled, but then she proceeded to not follow it step by step. I have to give her some slack though because my bangs turned out nice, its just that it wasnt cut in the way that I specifically asked for.

Straight perm by James - James was really friendly and he did a really good job. Highly recommend him! ;)

I cannot express more how happy I am with the service and professionalism at Salon Joa. I have been getting my nails done there for almost 3 years and their artists are so talented and able to make any nail dream come true (Cassie is the best though!). I had my hair done there last night after a terrible experience at another salon, and I saw Kira, who was amazing, she is so knowledgeable about coloring and cuts, and then also gave me very valuable styling tips. The Salon owner even came over and helped with my color and made sure I was happy. My hair turned out incredible and I am so happy. Would recommend hair and nails here to everyone!

I came in for a microblading consultation with Jo. I’m definitely a no makeup, hair pulled back type of girl. I’m obviously a fish out of water in a salon atmosphere. Jo instantly welcomed me and made me comfortable. She talked me through all of my options and was quick to meet me where I was with the natural look that I want to keep. Gabie is a nail genius! Her art work is incredible. Her attention to detail is impeccable and she is a wonderful conversationalist. I genuinely look forward to my appointments and catching up with her. All around tremendous service.Ps for anyone that typically gets tips on your nails to add length, please do yourself a favor and stop! I had no idea that you can basically build the acrylic up to be the desired length without the false tips. It’s much healthier for your nails and I think it’s just an all around better result. I had NO clue this was a thing after getting my nails done for years until Gabie explained this to me.

Absolute best salon in Denver and surrounding areas. Ive been going here for years and still can’t find any place better. I live pretty far from the salon now, so tried other places closer to me. Even though they were good, it just wasn’t the same. I only get my hair and nails done here, but could only imagine their other services are top notch as well. Definitely worth the drive!

A hidden gem! Easy to miss if youre just driving by, this salon on Colfax is worth seeking out. The atmosphere is friendly & relaxed, with skilled professionals for both your hair and nails. Stylists will do whatever you need & want for your hair, whether its the latest fashion or your own personal style. Pricing is competitive, certainly less expensive than the Cherry Creek area. Parking can be a bit of a pain, but is usually available. Be careful about the lot behind the building, as most of it is reserved for the loft tenants in the building, but there is free parking on the street.

Hoa, Son and Christina are all absolutely amazing hair stylists! They each take the time to find out what you want and always work until your hair is exactly the way you want it! I know whenever I come to Salon Joa that I will leave a happy customer!

As a happy customer of four months, Im writing this review to negate some of the other silly, negative reviews. I had previously been a customer at a different salon for 18 months, and it only took one service from Salon Joa to convince me that I found the right place. My barber Son has always been great. He is quick and precise. The establishment as a whole has been extremely, accommodating and friendly. I would absolutely recommend this place.

The Stylist tried to get me to cut my hair in ways I told her I did not want to. She kept asking me repeatedly through out the haircut even though I said I dint want it. She way to much product in my hair without asking me and quite honestly I dont feel like the salon even cared that I was there. No one said hello or made me feel welcomed. I will never go back.

Gabbie is amazing! She’s been doing my nails for months now and I won’t go to anyone else! There’s nothing she can’t do as far as style and nail art! 💜

Jay does excellent color and cuts. He colored my hair in January and the color still looks great. He spends a lot of time with his clients and he is easy to talk to. Almost 10 months later and I still love the color. I have never had anything but a pleasant service here. The wine is definitely a plus!
