I see many negative comments, but most seem to concern the postal service per se. Regarding my interactions and experiences with the staff at this particular postal location over the last 4 years Ive lived here, my overall report is a very positive one..The staff always are helpful, courteous and kind. People all may have a bad day but rarely have I interacted with these folks and felt dissatisfied and I never have left angry, even after waiting a bit in line.They should be thanked and commended for their professionalism and courtesy.The postal service? Needs a new director!!!!!

I needed to pick up a package and I got someone named Mari. I couldn’t understand what she was saying and they told me I couldn’t pick up my package but when I called the main usps number they said that I could. Nobody knows what they’re talking about and it’s so unorganized. I needed the package for the weekend and I leave tonight. It’s been here for 3 days now. I called the main number because I live an hour and a half away and I left with no answers or package. I’ve since filed a lost package claim.

This post office is huge. I thought it was just a Distribution warehouse but they also sell stamps and Express mail. I was in and out in no time. The staff was friendly and very helpful with my process. Plus its at a convenient location.

I went in with over seventy items to mail and my window clerk was excellent! She explained the different rates and was of shipping and made a daunting task for a private individual pretty painless. Highly recommend this facility--plus the lobby is open until 9:30 pm!

One of the better post offices you will find, I am in there 3-4 times per week for my small business and the staff is very friendly and take the time to make sure your packages are being properly scanned and ready to move through the USPS system.

I ordered something on eBay back in the beginning of May. It was shipped out and everything was fine until it got to the Denver, CO distribution center. The expected delivery date was supposed to be May 22. After being “in transit” for 4 days starting from May 19, it has then stopped updating. I have ordered other things since then and all of it has gotten to me perfectly fine and on time, so it seems to be a problem with this specific facility. I would like my mail please.

I ordered a package on January 6, 2021, it was shipped the same day and was scheduled to be delivered on the 11th. According to the tracking information the package arrived here at the Denver Distribution Center on January 9 at 2:08am, the tracking information says In Transit, Arriving LateYour package will arrive later than expected, but is still on its way. It is currently in transit to the next facility. SO APPARENTLY IT TAKES 6 DAYS AND COUNTING TO TRAVEL 64 MILES TO COLORADO SPRINGS? LOL WHAT A JOKE!!!I have tried calling customer service but Im just told to wait a few days and it should arrive.

The mask order has been lifted but this location forces the wearing of masks. Dangerous because more disease can be created than avoided. It can cause high blood pressure from lack of oxygen. It is pushed in spite of medical condition.

Try to speak to a live person is impossible! It’s frustrating! And my package that didn’t get to me was last scanned at 80217, then nothing from there. This was for my 87 year old father who lives a veterans community living center. Now I have to tell him his package is not coming! Post Office facility lost it. Very disappointed in the Post Office, & I worked for the Post Office for 32 years!

This distribution center scanned in my package and delivery was to be Thursday, July 30. Package never arrived. Tracking info regarding THIS distribution center DISAPPEARS. Status since Thursday evening has said “In Transit”. There is no # to call to reach anyone at this facility. You’ll have to use the 1-800 # for Usps customer care. It took them 2/12 hours to call me back. I spoke with 4 agents who all refused to help me find my package. I was hung up on twice and had my call transferred mid sentence without any warning. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. If this is how our public mailing service is going to operate, than it deserves to go under. And every lazy employee will go down with it.

This place is ran by CLOWNS! The staff and supervisor are clueless, constantly losing my packages, opening and snooping around all mail, and sending packages over 1,800 miles away to the wrong location. BIG SCAM - They take your money and cant fulfill their job correctly. This has been a battle for over a year now, and sadly, no one cares. The worse USPS has ever been in over thirty years.

I have never been so frustrated about a lost package. USPS lost a moving box that I shipped tracked and insured from university and I have not been able to get any answers with this package. This package was huge and it weighed over 50 lbs.The package has been sitting in a Colorado shipping point since March on the opposite side of the country from where it was supposed to be delivered. I am just now finding out that the distribution center was closed from google even though Ive been emailing, calling and visiting my local post office with no type of answers or guidance since March. A priceless package arrived here for me and a picture was taken of it. My aunt paid extra for shipping to get it to me. The USPS tracking updates provided no information for two weeks after saying it had arrived in Denver. We then found out it was sent to Atlanta to the dead mail center. My aunt has spent hours on the phone and opened numerous tickets. I stood in line to speak with my local post office. Everyone we speak to seems to have an attitude of “you have to do this, then this and this”. As in it’s our problem after we paid extra for this service. AND they’re all telling us different things to do. Not one USPS employee has stepped up to actually help. One person did confirm that the picture taken in Denver showed no evidence of issues with the package - the addresses were both still intact. This package was a present from my grandmother. So disappointed in USPS and the Denver distribution center. 😢

Im waiting for my faux fur to arrive. I tried calling today and they had me on hold. I even talked to my mail lady she told me to wait if not go to the location, but i dont have time in my schedule to set aside just to get my fur. Just had a wonderful experience at this post office location. The postal workers were patient, helpful, and very knowledgeable. I have had less than pleasant experiences at other Denver post office locations. This one was exceptional! Teeresa (and all of the other ladies working at the desk at the time) were cheerful and obviously enjoyed working together. This will be my go-to PO from now on. Another note - mailed a package to Australia for $65 and the quote I received from UPS was almost $300.

My package has been in Transit for the past 3 days and still in transit at this distribution for the past 3 days and still remains there at this moment. I call their USPS 1800 number. They told me my package is there. I took my time drove 20 minutes to get my package. Upon my arrival, I stood on line until it my turn. Went they finally get to me. The lady said she cant not leave front desk to go get my package. What the heck is wrong with USPS I need my package. That is a birthday present, the birthday date has past and USPS still have my package up to this day, it still in transit, no scan, no update. Bad business ethic.

My package was sent from Houston early in the day of Thursday, then it went to Denver on Friday I get a email saying it will be delivered on the 23rd of December and I get another email saying it was in transit but arriving late, then the next email was to inform me this facility just processed it through on Saturday and its been there since this was a Christmas present that was very important and I still havent gotten an update this place is very unprofessional and always losing my mail. I get that theyre busy but how can packages that arrive after packages thats been sitting here moves out faster Im never going to use USPS again no matter what this building should be shut down because I couldve drove to Houston and picked my package up faster than this company. Perhaps if they could organize a system to not only scan labels, but actually LOOK at the address, I wouldnt have a custom made one of a kind piece of jewellery being jostled between Denver and Albuquerque for the last three days when it is supposed to be in CHEYENNE. There was an error at customs resulting in the tracking label being assigned to a package headed to New Mexico, and thats the story of how I get to wait another week for my parcel which is hopefully not damaged.

Ive called since 9AM today and havent once been answered. And all Im trying to do is ask questions about getting replacement keys for my PO Box, or if they can open it for me. My first package ordered from a Colorado business was at this post office for 8 days. After I sent an inquiry to the USP online help it surfaced in California. It was finally delivered TEN days after being shipped. The business was in Colorado, I am in Michigan. Why did it take 8 days to ship my package in the opposite direction of my state? The post office said essentially they didnt know and oops, mistakes happen. I chose a superior product at the best price from a company in the middle of the country. Now I have another late package sitting at the facility with no scans for three days from the same shipper. The lower price doesnt outweigh the delays in shipping from this business. I regret that I will be choosing other suppliers that arent in Colorado from now on to avoid this facility.

Shipped two boxes ground on 12/14 from Michigan to Arizona. Estimated delivery 12/23. According to tracking info, they arrived in Denver on 12/21. Since then there has been no useful update. It keeps saying in transit. I tried calling customer service and a rude woman just kept repeating at me that there are no guaranteed delivery dates with ground and they couldnt tell me where my packages currently are, just that they are probably on a truck somewhere making their way to Arizona. After reading other peoples tweets and reviews here, I dont know what to think. I read one account from someone shipping a package to Tennessee that Denver somehow routed to Hawaii. This location should NOT be a hub if they cant handle the Christmas rush. I just hope my boxes werent lost as they contained all the presents for my Arizona family, including my baby niece. Ive always relied on USPS but next year Ill be using FedEx or UPS.

I have had numerous packages arrive at this facility and be scanned 10 or more times and take days just to get out. An example: Tracked item arrived here on the 16th, it has been scanned 10 times between the 16th and the 20th and still not out for delivery or on the way to another facility. Ive never been inside of the Post Office itself, this review is only based on delivery of packages and mail. I do most purchases on line and all mail/packages go thru the USPS Denver Regional Distribution Center. They handle all mail for the states of Colorado AND Wyoming. Thats a lot of work.My husband and I live in Longmont and normally I receive my packages the next day after being processed through Denver. Until the last several months, Ive only had one problem. A large box, approx 4x5x2 was lost somewhere in the facility, was never found.I get an average of 20 packages a month and the past several months, since Covid, Ive had some problems with Denver. I always watch the tracking info and the past couple of months Ive had quite a few packages processed through Denver then sent out of state, Utah, California, and Hawaii. Had 3 packages sent to wrong Colorado cities, 2 to Frederick (I drove and picked 1 up, other sent BACK to Denver) 1 was sent to Estes Park and THEY sent to Seattle, no idea why since originated from California.After learning more about the load Denver Regional has to deal with, including being understaffed, I have more sympathy for the staff. I have eventually received all packages and decided I should be grateful instead of complaining. What is the alternative? These people do work very hard and I know I would not last 1 day working there. Its a tough job.

Normally have friendly service when I go in to get mail shipped. But today, as I answered the “What can I do for you today?” question, the woman at the desk gave me attitude when I started to explain why I was there. She interrupted me with a tone, stopping me from finishing. Instead of being curteous and showing any true amount of customer service to understand I didn’t know I was at the wrong location and understanding the full details she didn’t have, her tone didn’t change until the end. Not my fault my normal delivery driver didn’t put all required information on the form they left in the mailbox. Didn’t leave an address at all. Then as I was walking out, hear her and the other woman working there who went to check the address of the place I was supposed to go to snickering and laughing. Very professional - not. I know what customer service sounds and looks like and that was not it.

I have been waiting for a Certified Letter for 9 days. I have called 3 times and have been told that the letter is not lost because they have scanned it for the last 3 days but it hasnt left the building. It is going to the Parker Post Office which is 28 miles. It made it from the Alamosa Colorado Post Office in a couple of hours. I could have walked faster. Needless to say I am not at all happy with the main distribution center. I probably will never send a first class certified letter again.

Came in at 7:45 pm - seriously, open until 9:30?! - there were a couple customers milling around, 3 employees at windows. We came to weigh, purchase stamps, put stamps, drop off approx. 50 wedding invitations. We were in and out in 10 mins! I didnt get the ladys name who helped us, but she made it such an easy and efficient process, genuinely apologetic that they didnt have very many options for the size of stamp I needed, and even pointed out a table for us and told us to get comfortable and take our time. Definitely a 5-star USPS experience!

Absolutely the worst customer service EVER. they have literally been sending my moms package back and forth between post offices and distribution centers for WEEKS in aurora and denver. So I call with the correct address and they tell me it will be sent ALL the way BACK across the country instead of simply delivering it to the correct post office in the city the package is in. I have had many many problems with packages getting hung up here. This week has been the worst by far. I have 2 packages experiencing difficulties right now. One package came into this facility on the afternoon of Sunday, April 5th and was expected to be delivered the next day. On Monday its status was changed to In transit, Arriving late. Then on Tuesday the status changed to In transit to next facility. Today is now Friday and the package still says In transit to next facility. I cant believe it has been stuck here for almost a week. The second package was shipped from the Loveland post office on Monday, April 6th. Loveland is about 1 hour away from me in Parker. It had a scheduled delivery date of Thursday, April 9th which seemed a little extreme to begin with. On Tuesday the package had a status of In transit, Arriving on time after leaving the Loveland post office the night before. By Wednesday afternoon the package showed that it was scanned at the regional sort facility in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. South Dakota?!?!? How and why did this package get sent to South Dakota when it was never supposed to leave Colorado??? Yesterday morning (Thursday) it showed being scanned at the sort facility in Rapid City, South Dakota and finally the Denver facility just before midnight. I guess I will see if it leaves this facility in the morning unlike my other package. This garbage sort facility is a joke and it is ridiculous that this keeps happening.

In the Denver Metro Area most post offices dont take letters or packages after 5 PM. If I have to get a package postmarked and out the SAME DAY, this is the absolute last USPS Facility in Denver to take your package. They take mail up until 9:30 PM every day except Sundays. The staff is helpful and friendly. I have had nothing but good experiences here. Most people dont know that USPS partners with FedEx to handle all of the USPS Priority and Express Mail. I can honestly say I have never had a problem with Priority Mail and I ship and receive a lot of packages for my eBay business!

This center is terrible. I had my package arrive at this location over 48 hours ago and it still says in route. I’ve had my mail come twice and not the item I’m expecting. I expect my mail to be handled professionally and on time. This is ridiculous. I tried calling but the wait is at an hour. You guys need to get it together

My mother in law shipped a Christmas box for her grandchildren from Alabama to Utah on the 12th of December. It had an estimated delivery for the 19th of December. it is now the 28th, upon looking through the tracking history the package for whatever reason made it to Denver,Colorado on the 22nd and was shipped back to Iowa where it was there for a day or so and now its back in Denver,Colorado. I am hoping that they will get it right this time. When my mother in law spoke to customer service they were extremely unhelpful as to what was happening to the package and would not even refund the shipping costs. We will never use USPS for our shipping needs again. There are too many better shipping options out there now a days.

I guarantee USPS knows that their is an issue at this facility. But they could care less. This needs to be shut down. I honestly will never ship USPS again. Dear Post Office,I have taken the time while you have me on hold to write you this review. Our mail carrier took the time out of his day to walk past our mailbox and cursed at some of my office staff because the front door lock in the afternoon. Very extreme language for a locked door. When escorted him out of the building. I asked that he never come back in again, he stated You cant get rid of me. I feel like a true statement. You send him tomorrow and every day after even though my office staff is scared of their carrier. I love the Post office and the services that they provide but as a former carrier it pains me to say I would choose to never get mail again over having him come back. Sent out a CERTIFIED letter on 07/20/17 and it never got delivered. Per the tracking #, its at the Denver CO Distribution Center. Unable to get a hold of anyone, the phone just rings. Submitted a report online and reply stated within one day youll be contacted and that never happened. From now on well use FedEX at least their reliable and you can speak to a live person, not automated service.

No one is going to answer the telephone, and if any of your mail was routed through Denver, it will surely be late. Whoever works here probably hates their life -- I feel bad for them, but I feel worse the mail thats being irresponsibly handled. At least Amazon is helping me with this package problem because I was supposed to expect delivery today, but its late by this company in Denver. Just hope, and pray to god my contents are ok. You might as well provide delivery instructions that says, DO NOT SHIP PACKAGE THROUGH DENVER CO NETWORK DISTRIBUTION CENTER

WOW! What an experience the USPS gives you. Had my mother out to visit for 2 weeks after surgery to help me around the house. I try to send her a thank you package with Colorado themed coffee mugs...LOL... and they called me telling me they will not send it and require to open it to verify its contents and will repackage and send. I laughed. Told them they cannot open it, and I will appeal, but also will re-buy EVERYTHING and send it UPS just for spite. You wonder why no one wants to use USPS. Its because no one ever treats you with respect and then they call with BOGUS information playing off some BS government control. Thanks for wasting our tax dollars! We definitely need to be kept safe from all the coffee mugs in the world... GOOD JOB USPS ON MAKING AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!

Since I cant give zero stars, in the past 3 weeks I have posted items priority mail and this location sits on them, or returns to sender cause someone cant read that a package is going to WY, or other locations in CO. This unit needs to be closed, employees fired and operations relocated to a more reliable work force, but then again COLORADO did pass law to allow for smoking of marijuana ???????

I live in Colorado Springs, and my package made its way to my post office in the Springs, then for some reason went to Denver to this facility. It has been here for days and I cant get ahold of anyone who works at this facility. Definitely only one star.

They are open super late, very friendly the 10 or so times I’ve been in, and always have the best stamp collection in the city.When you go, notice the awards they have on the back shelf behind the workers.

When calling the annex’s I had to go through 15 minutes of pressing numbers. Then all I get is put on a call back list, I get a call back in over a hour. No direct phone number to the main Denver postal office. The office close to me in Westminster nobody will answe the phone. I have been calling for over 2 hours and nobody has answered the phone

It is impossible to contact any person via telephone at the USPS. Also, customer service is sub par at each location Ive visited in the Denver Metro Area, especially the one located on Brighton Blvd. They lack on package pick up notifications, customer service, or even CORRECT address information. Moving to a new subdivision creates nothing but confusion and headache because the USPS drags their feet on updating zip codes.

My package was coming from California and came on time to Denver to this location. Final destination. They routed my package to Kansas, MO!!?? Now I’m getting my package a week late. I’m not sure why they sent it off when it was where it belonged. My mind is blown right now!

Wish I could give zero stars. Have now called them SIX TIMES with no pick up, and the phone just hangs up after a while. Not certain how customer service could possibly get worse.
