This is the best place in Denver to buy skis and boots. I went to other stores and they wanted me to make an appointment for a boot fitting but I walked into confluence and they helped immediately. The staff are super helpful and knowledgeable.

This is the best place to come for rafting or kayaking gear! They have everything youd want and their rental prices are very reasonable. The staff there is SO nice and will get you set up with everything you need. Max helped me out and he couldnt have been nicer or more helpful when I came in to pick up a rental boat for the weekend. We had a great weekend floating the Colorado and thats in large part to the team at Confluence!

It was beyond a pleasure working with Brian, Bambam, Evan, and Ben! My wife and I were able to sell my old onewheel XR and a couple paddle boards through their consignment shop and in return they got us set up with two brand new onewheel pints. The collaboration and service from these guys was amazing the entire way! I’ve already sent a few friends their way, but I know I’ll be back for some more fun soon. Thanks again guys, keep up the awesome work!

Just picked up all my accessories for rafting season yesterday, had a great experience. I wish I could remember the name of the guy who helped me (Mike or Bryce? The guy downstairs). Anyway, he was super helpful. Im new to the game so he was really knowledgeable about the range of gear for people like me just starting out (Jerries, as we are known in the industry). More importantly he pointed me to safety first, making sure I had my throw rope, helmet, and PFD. They also have awesome selection of dry bags, shoes, paddles, everything. Picked up a sweet guidebook for the Arkansas river as well. Cant wait to get on the water. Thanks

Nice people and good products, but the employees are careless. Dont take your stuff here for repairs. I came in asking for a very simple repair of having a board clip replaced. All that needed to be done was to have a rivet drilled out and a new one pressed in with a rivet tool. The tech first removed the wrong rivet (the nice one with the Karakoram logo) and then proceed to bash both new rivets in with a hammer. I realize this is mostly cosmetic and most likely wont fail or affect the performance of the board. But considering that I purchased the board from Confluence for nearly $1000, I expected some level of care and professionalism would have gone into the repair. I regret not doing the job myself.Response: I would have much rather paid for a job well done than receive a free botched job. What a terrible response from a business! I never asked for this to be done for free! In fact if I would have paid to prevent this from happening! An arrogant response from a careless owner. If you cant fix a damn rivet in a snowboard without resorting to pounding a nose into oblivion with a hammer than I imagine you cant handle much else.A good deed would be admitting that you dont have the tools and expertise to complete the job and recommending that the customer go to somewhere more capable. Screwing up a job and then attempting to push the blame on the customer is terrible. Also, my friend came in two weeks ago to get bindings mounted to skis. You gave her boots to the wrong customer and forced her to rent for a week long trip. Clearly carelessness is a theme with your business, as is poor customer service.

We got unlucky with trying to hit up Wellington lake with inflatable kayaks we rented here because when we got to the lake we were told their were special Covid rules that allowed only people with camping reservations to use the lake. Confluence was nice to give us an extra day extension. When the winds were way to crazy the next day we ended up just rerun the kayaks without being able use them. The owner was kind enough to give us a partial refund.

If I could give them zero stars I would. We reserved and paid for a canoe for our family canoe trip. They called the day of as we were about ready to leave and pick up the canoe and said they didn’t have a canoe for us. No apologies, a lame offer for a two person inflatable kayak instead. We have two adults and a small child so obviously that wouldn’t work. Almost ruined our vacation. Thank goodness we called Good Vibes River Gear in Craig by where we were taking our canoe trip. They saved our vacation from what Confluence nearly ruined.

These guys and girls kill the ski shop game. I buy nice gear, so replacing parts and using it for their full lifetime is important to me. Ive had another nearby chain store turn me away because of the age of my boots (probably to steer me towards buying new products) when all they needed was a $15 heel piece replacement. If you tell them to mount something a certain way they will listen and do an EXCELLENT job.

Solid store with highly approachable and knowledgeable staff with hands on experience with the full range of gear. After looking around Denver for some in store info on inflatable kayaks most other stores including several staff at rei directed us here. Hard to make an opinion on an inflatable kayak when the staff only has it packed into a cardboard box and is lukewarm about unpacking it.Confluence had a range of inflatable kayaks and paddleboards fully built out and ready to go. 20 minutes later Brian and Spencer had us converted to the idea of inflatable paddle boards and we scheduled a rental. Their rent to buy process was seamless and at the end of an awesome weekend with top notch gear we walked away with a solid Colorado made sup at a better price point than any big box store. If your looking to support local innovators at a local storefront, this is the place. Purchasing water crafts can be daunting, you want people who know the range of options personally. The ability to rent exactly the item your interested in investing in is awesome.

Came here a few weeks ago to demo a Onewheel. The gentleman working who was familiar with them provided an excellent demo experience in the parking lot. I was even told that you can rent them for $50/3-hours or $150/day, with those fees going towards a purchase should I opt to buy one from them. Attempted to call and schedule a rental, but was informed that they didnt do that and if I wanted to speak to someone knowledgeable Id have to wait a few days for a guy to return from vacation. Disappointing since their website even states that they do rentals on these.

I had a pair of bindings Ive been using for 4 years no problem switched to pair of skis I bough off these guys. Within 2 weeks the binding fell off my ski mid turn... They took almost 4 weeks to fix it and were terrible at communicating on what was ready and when. Now, after 2 days of skins another pair of my skis with those same bindings? They fell off again. Try also had the nerve to tell me this binding was known to break sorry, Ive spoken with many of people with the same binding and have had no issues and I had no issues for 4 years until I brought it to these guys. They also charged me for a tune up and never completed it. I didnt notice until later and I don want to go anywhere near these guys because they have no idea what they doing.

Telling a salesperson Im not giving them money yet and then still having amazing service really shows that Confluence Kayaks cares about the industry and its participants at least slightly more than the business (even though their awesomeness most likely leads to purchases and lifetime customers). All the people there who helped me did a great job and provided me with information as to which kayak and accessories to buy and how kayaking works. They had a big selection of boats and gear, though they worked with me to find just the right stuff for me. Their boats are the name brands, not the junk that REI, Dicks, and Cabelas sell. If they dont have the right item in stock, they order it. Overall, I highly recommend them.
