In addition to the services indicated above, a regulator was installed in a window behind the drivers seat which was inoperative. I have been a patron/client of Meineke on South Broadway, in Denver, Colorado for many years. The present Store Manager there is extremely professional, customer oriented, patient and helpful. The car mechanics on the premises are diligent and hardworking experts.

I came in for an oil change and a tire rotation - these folks saw that I needed some filters changed and took care of that as well. All in all it was fast, easy, and efficient! The gentleman who helped me was very friendly, and my car has been running great.

Poor quality, incompetent, and rude. Definitely go somewhere else. Had an appointment and it took them a day and a half before they even looked at my vehicle. Fixed my ABS wiring which barely lasted 2 weeks. Took to another shop, they replaced the sensor that Meineke said I didnt need, and everything works just fine now. Other shop also noticed Meineke had improperly packed and tightened the wheel bearings when they put on new pads and rotors. Meineke would not refund me even though they had improperly performed the work and I didnt want them to touch my car again.Update 8/11/21:Meineke is really dropping the ball on this one. Not only has Brian and the S Broadway shop proved their incompetence but now Corporate Meineke has as well. Glad that they could reply to my review saying they would like to get in touch and then provide me with the link to the customer service form (which I have already filled out) and then the number to the location finder. Very helpful. Everyone should avoid Meineke at all costs.

Brian is very good at what he does and is very honest. I came with what I thought was a mild break issue, but it ended up being that essentially the whole system was failing. Brian took me into the shop to show me piece by piece what was messing up. Due to his quality Diagnostic I actually decided to trade that car in and purchase a new car instead since I was looking to do that anyways. Brian was not pushy and agreed with my decision and even helped me decide on what trade in price I should negotiate. I will always bring my new car here for anything it needs.

Ladies! Bring your car here! I felt like I was talking to my dad, or my uncle; as if they were giving me car advice — I felt super comfortable with the staff! They were honest with me, they joked with me, and were very polite. They did a tune up, fixed my struts and shocks, and changed spark plugs. What was SUPER cool is when they send you the estimate, they include photos of your car. So the photos showed the rust damage of my shocks, and it helped me understand just how urgent I should be replacing them. As a female, it’s common for car shops to rush me through the process because most shops assume that I don’t know anything about cars. They were super patient with me with the questions I DID have, and they took the time to explain the repairs to me. Also, they quoted me a larger quote, and when I told them my budget is much smaller, they highlighted the absolute essentials that should be fixed, and let me make the decision for myself. Can’t Recommend enough! Thanks guys!!!

Don’t go here. Very unsafe practice. The shop kept our van for 3 full days even though we had an appointment the first day, and then they rushed the work and rushed us out the last day.We told the manager at Meineke we needed brakes, after an “inspection” he said we didn’t until he was repairing the wiring to our ABS sensor and then said, “oh yea, they do need to be replaced”. Additionally, our ABS wiring that was “repaired” for $200 was not repaired correctly. We took it to another shop and they had to redo the work Meineke did. They also noticed Meineke had improperly replaced the wheel bearings when they put on new pads and rotors. This is a HUGE safety issue. We asked for the work to be refunded which it was not. We were told to “take it to another Meineke shop”. If this is the work they stand behind why would we risk our safety and take it to one of their shops?? DO NOT GO HERE.

Wow. That’s all I can say. I made and appointment, was there within 5 minutes of my appointment time. I waited in the lobby for another 5 minutes for anyone to acknowledge my being there. Once the front manager came out, he asked me my name and then proceeded to take multiple phone calls. I sat for another 10 minutes while he attended to other patrons. I specifically said I did not want the inspection on my vehicle. That I simply wanted an oil change. My gut feeling was a large upsell was coming. I’m completely uninterested in that. I have my vehicle regularly maintained. Regardless, the time to do a simple oil change was an hour. Overall, it could’ve very easily been a much better experience. I walked out the door though, due to the inefficiency and rudeness of the front desk employee. I would not recommend coming to this location.

After years of being ripped off by mechanics, I now will only go to Meineke for any and all car issues. Brian and his team are professional, not pushy, timely and honest. Overall great service, I highly recommend!

Have been here a handful of times for oil changes. All have been good except most recently, which was particularly annoying, as I only wanted an oil change, and instead was hit with an $1800 estimate for numerous things on my car. Do some of those things need attention at some point? Probably. Are they urgent enough to try to convince somebody to pay an exorbitant amount on the spot? Absolutely not. I do appreciate the look over and information, but do not appreciate a sales pitch for work I did not request, and then a change in attitude by the employee when I decline said services. Go elsewhere for an oil change, where a tire rotation is also included instead of being an additional $20 (which was not mentioned when offered to me).

Brian and rob are great!!As a woman I am usually concerned that I will be ripped off! With them I felt I was in great hands and could trust them!My engine light was on on my new Hyundai Ioniq... I knew something wasn’t right and adding up since my car only has 30k miles on it! My spark plugs came up as needing changed when really they didn’t! It was just a loose wire that didn’t get sensed in the car from the factory! They figured it out and were very affordable with me and helping me understand what happened.Great guys. Thanks for helping me because I honestly have no idea how cars work! Truly the hospital for cars in need!

Went in for a simple $20 oil change. They stripped my oil pan and and tried to charge me $600 to fix it. They are scammers. Would not trust them.

If your a woman they take advantage. Don’t go there. They think we must be made out of money or something because they Over charge for full synthetic and put extra issues in your head that your car may need when your car is just fine.

I had someone attempt to steal my catalytic converter, leaving large cuts around it and on my exhaust pipe. I was worried about what the cost would be to fix it (or that replacement was necessary), but Meinke was able to repair it and save the parts with just tools and supplies in the shop for a much lower price than I expected. They were efficient and communicative. I’m very grateful and will definitely be using them from now on for my car’s needs! Thank you!

Absolutely do NOT use this auto shop. We’ve never had such a terrible experience with a business ever. We were having issues with my husband’s Xterra. We brought it to Meineke. They said the car needed a new radiator. We explained that the car was getting older and we were only interested in making inexpensive repairs that we knew would get us a couple more years out of the car. Ryan, one of the mechanics, assured us that the radiator was all it would take to run again. We paid for the radiator. Turns out, Ryan was either uneducated on cars or purposely deceiving. After we paid almost $800 for a new radiator, we got a call from Meineke that the car actually needed another $4,000+ in work. We never would have paid for the radiator had they been truthful about the extent of the issues. To make matters worse, we took it to another mechanic shop for a second opinion and they said Meineke’s new radiator they installed in our car was cracked. We asked Meineke to replace the radiator or fix the crack. Meineke’s manager, Brian, said they wouldn’t do it unless we promised to pay for a second radiator if it didn’t resolve the issues. That is insane. We paid for a new radiator and we got a broken one and they refused to fix it. All the while, Brian, the manager was incredibly rude, hot-headed and mean during every interaction. He would quickly escalate and refused to listen. Our only choice now is to dispute the charges with our credit card company as Meineke refuses to take responsibility for their shoddy work. This is a very shady shop and I would not even recommend it to my worst enemy.

When I dropped my car off I was told it would be ready by the end of the day. Someone called after the store closed to let me know it would be ready first thing in the morning, which was fine. I didnt get another call until 10 the next morning and my car wasnt ready for pickup until after 1pm. When I did finally get my car, it was parked out on a busy street with all of the windows down and the wheel lock sitting in the cup holder. After getting into the car I saw oil smears all over the driver side door and steering wheel. After driving I noticed a scraping sound and found that an entire panel was dangling underneath my car. There is also a crunching sound when turning and the ABS and traction lights have been on ever since I got it back. I definitely would not recommend this place.Update:After my original review I was contacted by Meineke customer service and told to take my car back in to have it checked out. They discovered that a sensor was damaged during my brake installation. They couldnt fix it immediately, so they reattached the dangling skid plate and I picked up my car. Within an hour the skid plate was dangling again. I went back the next morning to discuss the issue and was told that my skid plate was damaged. This was something they failed to mention twice, once after I specifically brought my car in to have the skid plate reattached. I have never had any issues with the skid plate previously and have never been told it was damaged during previous maintenance. I spent $1300 for 5 hours of maintenance work that resulted in them having my car for 3 days this week and me still having a broken brake sensor and skid plate, neither of which were an issue before I brought my car in. The manager Brian was unprofessional and a terrible communicator. I definitely will not return. Save yourself a headache and avoid this place and try one of the other Meinekes in the area.

It’s still not fixed. Giving them a second shot at it today. They should’ve checked more throughly before telling me to come pick it up yesterday tho. Fairly disappointed so far. Maybe tomorrow’s review will be better. We’ll see

The manager acted arrogant n unwelcoming. I was leaving my keys after hours and it looked like the door had been kicked in with alarms going off. So I left my key under the drivers seat and the next say they kept telling me it wasnt there. After the 7 days it took to complete my repair, I paid and reminded them to keep the doors unlocked. When I flew back to pick up my car the doors were locked and I had to call a locksmith which cost me close to an extra $200.

I generally go to a car shop I have trusted for about 10 years way across town. I had an issue that needed help much faster than my shop could get it in and this place came highly recommended by a friend. These folks are great. The prices are fair and standard, but the real value is the people youre dealing with. It is hard to find an honest mechanic and even harder to find one that is personable, helpful, and thoughtful about your time. These guys are it.

This is my regular spot for my car. I always explain to Brian what I’m looking for/ any noises I’m hearing & he checks everything for me. Always have a good experience here.

I would recommend doing all you can to avoid service at this location. Each time i go it’s been a hassle. The shop manager let me know his Meineke location is a car hospital and not a cheap place to get your car fixed. He would not do a conventional oil change on my very regular sedan vehicle as other locations have helped me. Waste of time.

These guys did an awesome job on my SUV. Brian was honest and transparent throughout the whole process. He had my tires ordered and installed in the same day. I would definitely recommend these guys for any automotive needs.

I just took my 2009 Jeep Compass in for an oil change. Brian was very honest with me about needing a tie rod replacement, which I will do soon. It makes sense sense since Carla (the Compass) has a tendency to dance like a white frat boy on tequila sometimes. I appreciate the honesty and making me feel safe on the road!

Made an appointment online in seconds, dropped car off to get a look at the exhaust (someone had cut the exhaust pipe to try to steal our catalytic converter). Got a call 40 minutes later saying they had welded the exhaust pipe and charged 30 minutes of labor and free materials for a total of $67.50. Was quoted $475 at my local shop. I have found my new repair shop! Thanks, Brian!

The owner helped me. My Jeep battery died twice yesterday. Was hoping it was the battery and nothing worse. Luckily just needed a battery I’m a nurse and was given a great price I really appreciate it!! I didn’t really want to buy a battery this year!!!!

I would definitely recommend this location. I came here for assistance repairing a problem caused by a different place and they helped correct it, taught me what to look for in the future to ensure work is done correctly, and worked with me on the price. My car had an additional problem going on as well and they were very thorough in determining what was causing the problem. They even drove the car with me in it to replicate the issue to get a better understanding of what I was reporting. They then brought me into the garage bay with them as they determined the issue and explained it clearly to me. My experience with them was very positive and they were very transparent in what they were doing. They had no issue explaining everything they did as well as why they did it. I also felt no pressure to get repairs done at their location and it seemed like they just wanted to make sure I was educated about the problem so I could make an informed decision. I would definitely return to this Meineke.

Had to get my car towed there close to their closing time. They looked at it for me that night (even though I’m sure that was annoying) and were able to get it fixed right away! Bryan helped me out and was very nice and kept me in the loop the whole time.

I brought my car in to have the clutch replaced it cost me $1563.69 and I only was only able to drive it home. I was unable to engage the clutch the following day after I picked it up. I specif asked Brian to top off my tires and it wasn’t done I later asked him after returning my car to his shop to put my locking lugs on and it wasn’t done. The hitch was still on the frame for the money I paid this shop the work I received was below average. Brian was unprofessional when I tried to get info on what was done to the car so I can have another mechanic look at his work he got defensive and started yelling. I had to hang up the phone, all in all if you want cheap but expensive work done and a belligerent manager go here. I will never come back to this shop again there managers attitude is a reflection of there work.

After being told I needed new tires from a local Big O Tires because a nail hole couldn’t be patched, Meineke not only quoted me a better price for the tires but plugged the hole instead of lying about it to force me to replace the tires. I never experience this from any car service place. I always feel like the most expensive option is required. They have earned my business for life!

Communication and transparency is key when working with auto mechanics, this place and the technicians certainly delivered. Diagnosis within 1.5 hours and repair complete in the next 2 hours - all same day. Pricing was great too.

They worked fast, but my brakes are still squeaky! I went in because my brakes were making noises, when I left the shop they were pretty quiet, but days later I still hear the same noise! I paid almost $400!!

Made a 3 pm appointment was caught in traffic and ended up a few minutes late. No issue they honored my appointment work was done properly and professionally and 41$ for a oil change felt right will definitely be going back

I had an issue with my alternator. Bryan and his team went out of there way to communicate with the tow truck driver and deliver exceptional customer service. Never felt like they didn’t have my best interest in mind. We chatted through options/called the dealer to look at potential recalls/etc.. Highly recommend this location and team!

I went in with an ABS problem and I needed an alignment. Brian looked out for me. He was caring,honest, and upfront on everything. He was vary helpful during the whole process. Honestly the best service I have ever received from a shop.

Very professional! Brought my car in and was out in an hour with a full inspection, oil change, and fluids topped off. I always expect to be told there is something extra I can do. I know that we are in strange times but I do feel that if everyone is masked up then when people come to get there car worked on they should be able to sit in the lobby. When this appointment was made there no mention that I would not be able to sit in the lobby to wait for the car to be inspected. I was sent outside in the heat on a bench in front of the next store and was bothered by homeless people. If I had been told that I could not wait inside I would have prepared a different strategy to get my car done. I was impacted because I am in a boot which made it even more difficult. The service was okay.

They got me in to fix my breaks right away and we’re extremely friendly, helpful, and reliable. Bryan gave me exceptional customer service, was very communicative, and I will be coming here for all of my car maintenance in the future!

Specifically the store on 1658 Broadway. Bryan was okay until I picked my car up. I had paid a large amount of money for a repair only to find it was still broken and my engine overheating 3 miles after picking it up. I called, and obviously frustrated was trying to describe what was happening. He then chose to raise his voice interrupting me, borderline yelling that I shouldn’t speculate and it doesn’t do any good. Very poor customer service. Lack of respect and unable to understand customer frustration/concern. I would take it to another location.

Customer service was very lacking. Check in process seemed as if I was interrupting a personal call. But! Great price and I *think* quick service — no one called to inform me my car was ready for almost eight hours, until I reached out. If you just need to “get the job done” and know exactly what you want and need (oil change) - definitely a quick and emotionless place to drop your car off.

Had a squeaky belt. they said i needed a new one. i said, are u sure? last time it was a loose pulley. they said they didnt see anything like that. so they replaced the belt for $150. the squeak is now louder and more persistent. did not fix my concern. not satisfied.

I made an appointment for an oil change. A walk in came in at the same time as me. They serviced his car right away, then started on mine when his was complete. I waited over two hours for a simple oil change. The manager tried to up-sale me on everything he could and at the very end my car came back with the bumper broken off. Needless to say I will not be going back there after 10 years of giving them my business.

They lied. They stated after completing an oil change they’d found a nail in the rear wheel (actually a screw). Charged me $20 for this removal and repair - they did not complete this repair. They charged me and did complete the work stated. Very disappointed and disgusted at this. Great and simple service up to that point, but that is blatant theft when you charge for a service not completed. To all going, please review that the work has been completed prior to leaving. Corporate was extremely open and understanding, contact them via the complaint page if this happens to you.

Did an oil change and changed wiper blades. Also got a quote for a washer fluid motor replacement. Decided to just do the oil change and wiper blades. Decently priced for those things. Crazy amount of money to just change the washer pump... got my truck back and found the old wiper blade sitting on top off the new blade when I was getting ready to drive out of state. (The same day within 2 hours) so idk if it was just carelessness on their part to not throw away the old stuff... but otherwise good deal for oil change

After two years of exceptional service, I will no longer be taking my familys vehicles to this Meineke location. The former manager Willie was always friendly and helpful, and communication was always excellent. It was always reassuring to see him behind the desk. On one occasion he also allowed me to purchase an alternator from a third party retailer to be installed at his facility; saving me hundreds of dollars. Other more routine repairs were performed quickly and at a good price.However, when I most recently took my familys cars to get their oil change, the experience was very different. When I brought in the first car, I received a call within two hours letting me know the job had been done. When I went to exchange it for the second car, I assumed that the job would be done quickly as well. I asked if the car could be ready to pick up that evening or early the next morning, and the person behind the desk told me it would not be an issue.When I went to pick up the car late the next morning, I was told that the shop had not even been able to start the car because of an issue with the key fob. I am not a mechanic, but this is a longstanding issue with this car that I was able to solve at home in the space of a few minutes Googling. They told me they had been working on the problem for nearly 2 hours without finding a solution. During this time they didnt call me to let me know the car wasnt ready (even though it was supposed to have been finished the evening before). This experience left me concerned both about their reliability and mechanical knowledge; I should not know more about car repair than my mechanic.The final straw was, as I got in the car to drive off (starting it, as I always have, without issue), I heard the manager loudly swearing at the other employees. This began before I even had a chance to get off the lot. I dont want to patronize a business that cant treat its employees with even basic respect.I worry that things have gone down hill since Willy left and was replaced by Bryan. It was convenient having a repair shop so near my home that I trusted, but I will take my familys business elsewhere now

First time getting my oil changed after going to the dealership for two years for my SUV. The customer experience I received was great. The manager made me and my time feel valued and the mechanic was extremely polite and efficient in his communication with his boss and me. I am so excited that I took my SUV to this Meineke location and have established a relationship that can continue to grow on trust and peace of mind.

First time going to Meineke. The wait is average when you make an appointment, and the info you get back about your car is super helpful. I now know what I need to budget for when I come in next. 10/10 will be going back.

I ended up coming to this location because Jiffy Luube on on Belleview messed up my car and the manager of this Meineke was friendly and understood what my car needed. It was a great experience and very quick as well. I would definitely recommend this car care center.

They did an oil change/complementary inspection and left the coolant reservoir cap off. This led to an overheating engine in the middle of the mountains and a $300 bill to fix. When I asked for a refund, they denied to refund the oil change. Will never come back and will make sure anyone I know who needs even an oil change goes elsewhere. Only reason it gets 1 star is because it will not allow a 0.

My visit to replace a used-up battery went off without a hitch. The staff was courteous and answered all my questions, but they also upheld their standards of care in spite of everything new and confusing about they way the world does business now. Having told Brian at the front desk how far wed be going after our visit, he made sure everything was up to snuff and replaced our poor brake pads. (Oops on my part.)

This place is fantastic. Instead of rambling about random parts I don’t know about, he invited me in to see exactly what was wrong. He told me to work something else into my budget that’s not immediately in need of repair. Will be back.

Brian was very honest throughout my whole process of getting my dead alternator replaced. He shopped around for a better priced part, and then wisely cautioned me against the temptation of a really cheap used eBay part.The shop is open really early and stays open a little later, so I was able to visit the shop before & after my workday. That was very helpful.I also appreciated that he didn’t try to upsell me with a handful of other things. That often happens at other shops like firestone.

Started using meineke over a year ago for my girlfriends car. They have been fair and honest! Also very friendly and they take really good care of us! I definitely recommend them!

I showed up for my scheduled appointment there was no parking I attempted to park next door however that was a tow away zone so I parked my car on Broadway! I didn’t feel comfortable doing this but I was hoping they would get my car back quickly since I had made an appointment! Well I did not appreciate the lecture from the employee telling me not to make afternoon appointments because they were busy that I should make it for mornings from now on and it would take a while before they can get my car back! I’m generally a patient and understanding person but being told not to make an afternoon appointment because they get busy was unprovoked and unnecessary if you don’t want someone to make an afternoon appointment don’t have them available! I will not return to this location or company, one of the worst customer service experiences!

Ive sent 2 people here with their vehicle since Nov. 2018 I was phrased with my service. Its vastly gone down since. My mother had to being her suv back several times before management could partially decide whats wrong and my father spent over 200.00 and his issue was fixed by another mechanic after meineke supposedly fixed it. The manager is horrifically rude and the District Manager is worthless. Dont take your vehicle here.

I had my flat tire repaired and placed back on.I had a check engine light diagnostic.I had battery post terminals cleaned.I also had my oil changed.The manager Stephen goes above and beyond there to make sure to get you back on the road soon as possible.

Willie and the team do great work and are so helpful! Over the past six months or so Ive taken in my car and my husbands and they are always professional, responsive, and nice! I even got into a hit-and-run and my insurance left me high and dry. I was almost SOL until I brought my car in and they helped me get the minor fixes I needed free. It pays to be a loyal customer!

This shop is great! I love coming here because the service and staff are fantastic. Jon and Kurt were able to explain things about my car to me that no one else ever did. Both times Ive been here my car has been fixed the first time and I leave great fun and happy that Ive found an auto shop that I can trust and continue going to. Very professional and nice. This is the only place I used to take my vehicle before leaving Denver. I never felt like I was being taken advantage of just because I am a female which, to me is huge, especially when I know goose egg about cars.

The main guy asked wayyyy too many questions and was really pushy with trying to sell me extra things. I also had an appointment and it still took over an hour.

My Daughters car broke down on Saturday. I’m in Mpls luckily it was not too far from meineke off Broadway in Denver. She had it towed there. The team handled my repair like champs. Diagnosed and estimated repair and got it done in about 2 hours. They Called my daughter and she picked it up. The plan worked perfectly. Glad I set up an account
