Called American Family this morning to ask why mine and my husbands vehicle insurance rates went up around $500.00 for the year. I could not get a straight answer. After going round and round, I was told it was due to my credit score. My credit score is 776, which is considered Excellent. He could not give me an answer as to why that is. Said he would talk to Matthew and see if it was possible to request a re review. We are long time customers and this is very disappointing. I was told I would get a call back. It has been 4.5 hours, no return call. Received a return call from Gabe, and it is still not 100% clear as to why our rates went up. Now he is saying that even though my credit is excellent, they only run it once every three years, and I had too many inquiries. What the heck does that have to do with car insurance? We bought a new house, and a car last year, so of course I have inquiries. What does that have to do with how responsible I am with my credit? He also said there was a 34% increase in everyones policies across the board. WOW, that is a huge increase. Maybe American Family should have kept the $100.00 checks they sent out to help cover the increase in premiums for everyone.

Switched to Matt and his team after not receiving the experience I expected from a different company. From day one, Matt answered his phone and replied to my questions no longer than a few hours later. Best of all, he doesn’t try and sell you on things you don’t need, he gracefully analyzes your situation and determines what’s best for you. I have been working directly with Trenton, and the process has been great. during this process, I had sustained an injury, leading to wage loss and lots of medical visits. Trenton stayed in touch to show that he was interested in earning our business, but gave us the time that we needed to be in a frame of mind to get these things done. The insurance itself saved us more than $300 per month from our previous provider, and is much friendlier on our pocket books, while still giving double the coverage and half the deductible of that previous coverage. The office was friendly, efficient, and very easy to work with. I HIGHLY recommend this office, and American Family Insurance!

Hi Ive been with america family insurance for many years now. And they do a wonderful job of taken care of me. I have not had one bad issue with them since i started my policy with them.

As a newbie to insurance (finally cut off the parents) I was very confused by the whole insurance process. Trent walked me through everything and made me feel very comfortable with the whole process! He was very real and down to earth!

Ive not had to file any claims with American Family. So, I am unable to comment on that end. However, I purchased my insurance (Auto and Renters) through Mr. Ditzenberger. He has been very easy to communicate with - we conduct most business via email - and Ive had no problem getting the information I need. He provides me with good information without pushing additional products, and I appreciate the timely nature of his emails. Overall, purchasing insurance through this agent has been a good experience and would recommend him to others.
