We chose to go with a locally owned flooring company to replace flooring in our entire house. Glad we went with Smittys. Easy to work with, from the owner to the installer. Everyone is very professional and respectful. Richard is by far the best tile installer and were very happy with our flooring.Highly recommend.

Very personable and their work is impeccable. I would definitely recommend them for your flooring and tiling projects. As a matter of fact they laid my floors, baseboards in whole house. Absolutely beautiful.

Mr. Baxter and his son did an excellent job of installing our flooring and finished the job in 2 days, instead of three. Although we have had the flooring for only 2 days we really love it. I would recommend Smittys and their installer Mr. Baxter and son.

Smitty carpet treat you like they are doing you some sort of favor. They suggest I can get an immediate install if I buy from their selection of one carpet. I said I wanted samples not just one sample. They lost interest.Had to contact several times to get a call back.I asked them not to talk with owner since I wanted to put my markup on job. The sister told me I wasn’t owner and she wouldn’t give me copy of bid. Never heard such nonsense. As a GC I mark up the subs price.Unprofessional brother sister team is well past their prime. Or interested I customer needs just pushing old carpet at full retail.I told them they would never get another call from owner, myself or anyone I knew.They wasted lots of my time which equals they wasted my money.Call someone else, don’t suffer these hassle for carpet.

- Several tiles cracked within days of installation.- Installers scratched up the new tile moving the appliances back in.- They tracked cement all over my wood floors and left it for me to deal with.- I had to follow up more than once to get them to come back out to fix all the problems.- I asked to be reimbursed for the non-reusable transition reducers that didn’t properly fit and had to be removed to fix the cracked tiles anyway. That request wasn’t initially a problem, but I had to follow up a second time for my refund. They sent the refund with no questions asked, but it was accompanied by a snarky and condescending note about how the reducers weren’t refundable. See that note in the photos. That was the company’s problem since the reducers had to be removed to fix the problems with the sub-par installation.-Tiles have cracked again since they came back out the last time, but Im finished dealing with them, after that condescending note.Photo proof uploaded.They would have to offer completely free services to get me to even begin to consider using them again, and even then, it would be a hard sell.

I have personally worked with this company and have found the customer service and quality of their work is exceptional. I highly recommend Smittys Floor Covering for your flooring needs.

The owner & staff are the friendliest people I have ever met. Smittys Floor Covering had the best prices for flooring out of all the stores in Denton, DFW and surrounding areas. The installers were professional, friendly and when they moved our furniture they didnt hit the walls. The installers covered all areas with plastic when they removed our ceramic tile and when the job was finished we didnt have to clean our house or hire professional cleaners. We will definitely use their services again and have recommended them to our family and all of our friends

Only giving one star to write this review. I want to personally thank Smittys Floors in Denton Tx for spamming my phone for 2 solid months. Yep every day for 2 months they have called my number at least twice a day. Even after I blocked the number they still found a way to call EVERY DAY!!!! How bout just doing good work and getting great reviews and word of mouth instead of driving strangers completely insane? You are alienating potential customers. Whoever told you this is a good thing to do should be FIRED and have their butt kicked for good measure...idiots.
