We have used Simmons Floor Covering twice now. I’m not an interior decorator by any means and the suggestions Lisa and Marcus made helped me choose wisely. The floor is absolutely gorgeous! Marcus was the lead on our latest project and was always available, returning texts and phone calls in a timely manner. Next project is new carpet. My husband and I will be going to Simmons.

From the minute we walked in the door, our experience was wonderful! We had 3 rooms and a hallway that needed replacing because of flood damage. A sunken den that that connected to 4 rooms, 3 of which were tile!Jeffery was so patient and helpful in this difficult process/selection for me. Paula and I had a great experience with Simmons Floor Covering! Our Customer Service Representative/Project Manager, Marcus Robertson, was awesome! Marcus helped guide us through the many options and made sure we got the right floor for our home. His patience and critical listening skills made our decision as pleasant and unhurried as could be. Marcus did a great job of educating us on the features of different products and provided much needed guidance in our selection process. Once our decision was made, Marcus arranged for the installation crew to begin work at our convenience. The crew was headed by Luis who ensured that everything was done professionally and in a timely manner. Luis and his crew completed the floor installation and baseboards in two days! We are thrilled with the results of our new floor and the overall experience with Simmons Floor Covering.

The following will just be facts, without opinions, because they speak for themselves.First, the materials delivery was ~2 hours late without a courtesy call or text. Upon the initial flooring & tiling install, they calculated the needed tiling wrong, which caused 15% of our master bathroom to be left undone until 2 weeks later. Also, we noticed that the master bathroom tiling was not sitting right, so they had to come out again for both reasons. They discovered there was a nail left underneath 1 of the tiles, which caused that 1st issue. We also noticed that the hallway bathroom tiling was clicking when walked on. It was not installed right, so they had to come out again to reset it. When they reset it, they accidentally left a large gap between the tile and toilet, so our plumber had to put extra caulking there. Unfortunately, that same crew left their rag inside the pipe under the toilet in the ground. Therefore, the next time the toilet was flushed, sewage leaked under most of that tile! They had to send another crew out to lift the tile, dry the cement and reset the tile. Throughout all these setbacks, their project manager kept telling us when to expect crews to arrive. Every single time, with 1 exception early on, the crews showed up anywhere from 2 hours to a day or so late. Each time, there was no courtesy call or text, despite my numerous times requesting to get one. This happened even after telling them that people can smell sewage from our bathroom. Ironically, today, (on the last visit) the crew who came out here to fix the sewage fiasco, informed me that the Simmons Flooring project manager told them to come to my place in the afternoon, despite telling me itd be 9:30am to 10:30am because ...and I quote...I am here all day, so I can wait. The information the crew provided was strong evidence that they were telling the truth because they said what the Simmons Flooring project manager knew. (and only he knew it - the fact that I am here all day because I work from home) Despite all this, there was no monetary discount offered. The owner said he never offers discounts because theres lots of Professional Complainers out there; not that youre one.... I typed this in hopes I can steer others away & avoid the stress I went through. Im hopeful this message helps others avoid the mess I endured.Regards,A community member who does not complain often.

We recently had some hardwood floors installed. It was the third time we chose Simmons for a flooring project and we would choose them again if we ever have more flooring needs. Our project manager, Jeff, was very helpful throughout the project. The crews that worked in our home were courteous and efficient.

Simmons flooring has been our “Go-to” for all 6 of our rent houses and our personal home here in Denton for 10 years. The service is excellent. They installed carpet and vinyl in most of my home. The installers were very professional, and strong because they moved all of my furniture without damaging it or the walls and then moved it back. They did all of this in one day.

My husband and I had an enjoyable experience working with the Simmons Floor Covering staff. Some people don’t know this, but those who do, know they carry the newest and coolest flooring ideas. COREtec flooring is IT! Siegfried (store and coordinator of our job) was on top of everything! Never any pressure or constant contacting after meeting. Not only are the staff professional, ask for the installation team he had do our job — top notch!

We had this company replace our flooring in our kitchen last year. We had some hiccups along the way with being given inaccurate information but were told the sales rep who gave us the info was no longer with the company. The issues we had were resolved and the install began. The techs had to remove trim from our kitchen island and remove baseboards from the wall for the install. We were told that they would caulk after putting the trim back on. They just wouldnt paint the walls or baseboards. We were fine with that. After they finished installing the flooring they put all the trim back. And I actually saw them caulking the baseboards. Fast forward to present day. Our island trim started to look warped. Upon further inspection we noticed that the trim was not caulked which allowed for water get underneath the island and pool. Then the water absorbed into our paint grade wood island. We called Simmons about the problem and were told that it wasnt their issue. Even though their installers DID NOT DO THEIR JOB. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS company. We found out the sales rep who replaced our original sales rep quit because of shady business practices on the owners part. Do not give these people your money. They do not do good work and do not honor their warranty.

Best flooring store in the Metroplex. They say what they are going to do and do what they say. If there should happen to be a glitch in your installation ,they will correct it promptly and correctly. Very knowledgable and helpful staff. Just had my great room and den done and will go back for all the bedrooms. OH! their prices are very competitive!

So far we have had the best experience with Simmons flooring...will update once the flooring and granite counters are actually installed., but they have definitely sold themselves as professionals, confident, someone who wants your business, and go to bat for you. Respectful, clean, courteous, personable, and confident, so far!

We used Simmons for the Luxury Vinyl Core Tek flooring in a house we were renovating. This install was a challenge due to the construction of the house. Im a DYI guy who was thinking about buying the flooring and do the install myself but I lacked the time to do it. Kayne Andrews was my sales rep and followed the whole process. The installation team showed up with 6-8 people and began prepping the flooring. Not an easy task! They ran into water damaged subfloor and repaired it and other issues with quality craftsmanship. Their attention to detail is amazing! After 3 months living with this floor, I cannot emphasize enough how satisfied we are with Simmons. Im glad I didnt try it myself.Randy B.

The flooring job was beautiful! They did an amazing job and did it rather quickly with minimal disruption! The flooring crew was very good as well as polite and respectful! An overall wonderful experience!

My fault for not getting a new quote and contract thinking that I would be treated honestly. I was quoted $752.83 for labor and adhesive only, to remove and replace about 76 sq ft of hard wood flooring by my back door. After Siegfried pointed out to me that most people are not happy with the outcome or how the new planks and floor look, I decided to revise my plan and have the worst group of planks replaced which came to 28-30 sq ft . I informed Siegfried of my change of plans, sent him a picture with the revised area and he put me on the schedule for approximately 13 days later. I had already paid $376.42 of the $752.83 as he had requested up front before I had changed my mind on size. After the work was done, I was asked for the remaining $376.42, but he would take off $141.18 for the adhesive, which I had noticed the guys were using a can that was left over from another job. I asked Siegfried why my 28 sq ft was costing me the same amount as the 76 sq ft. He said labor costs were the same for both but that he’s giving me a discount on adhesive. I know it’s my fault for not actually asking for a revised quote, just be leary of dealing with this company, not honest.

This place is the best!!! I called about having my engineered floors refinished. James explained to me in detail that this is not a service they provide. I then asked if he knew where I would be able to buy extra flooring to match what I already have. James went out of his way to find the exact flooring at another company. Once he was able to find the exact match we set up an appointment for me to pick up the flooring. He called me later that day and stated he was going to be in my area and instead of me having to drive to pick up the flooring he could deliver it to my home. I was speechless!!! I have never experienced such great customer service. James was very responsive whenever I called and provided excellent customer service. This is definitely a company I will use in the future. Keep up the good work James!!!

A terrific experience! I dreaded replacing carpet: I thought it would be problematic to sort through all the choices but Siegfried helped us quickly find the right carpet. I thought the installation would be time consuming and messy but the installation crew removed all the old carpet and pad and installed the new one with no mess, no fuss, quickly and on schedule.It was all done quickly, cleanly and at a very fair price. These folks a real experts. We highly recommend Simmons!

My wife and I had our master bathroom shower, tub tiling, and floor in our master bathroom and spare bedroom, redone by Simmons and we could not be more thrilled with how everything turned out! From the very beginning, and Scott and his team were very accommodating in getting us into the store to make our selections and help us put the vision together of what everything will look like. They were able to schedule the work to be done quickly and took care of everything for us! The workers were very nice and accommodating of us and did amazing work! Scott came by during and after the work was complete to ensure everything was done to our (and their) standards! It is apparent they take great pride in their work and hold themselves to an exceptionally high standard, and we are so happy with our BEAUTIFUL new bathroom! Scott also gave recommendations for others in the community to get our new bathroom trimmings and frameless glass, and a contractor to build us a custom built barn door for our bedroom, all of which turned out exactly how we wanted! When it comes time to renovate our kitchen and redo our floors in our main living areas and bedrooms, their is no doubt that we will be reaching out to them again!

I had an awful experience with Siegfried, who came out to our new home for a flooring consultation. I am not sure if it was because I was young or a woman or maybe a combination of those, but within 2 minutes of me welcoming him inside our home, our conversation was already awkward. I let him know this was my first flooring consult and that this is our first home, so I was new to the remodel process. I kept having to pry for information and ask questions to have him explain the process and see what information he needs. It felt like he didnt want to be here and that he was not taking me seriously at all. As we were walking around the home he said THREE times that the company works very hard for their online reviews (most great companies do not ever say this imo) and that he doesnt want to give me a number that will blow me away and then I choose to go with another company because they give me a lower quote. He had not even given me any type of figures yet.. He was talking to me as if I was poor and wasnt ready to hear a number. He then starts talking about cheaper flooring options that I did not ask for? While we are a young married couple, he has no idea if our financial situation is good or bad and either way he should treat potential customers with more respect.When my husband got home and joined us, it was like Siegfried was a different person. I couldnt even be in the same room while they finished up the consult because I was so upset and confused at the treatment I received when Connor was not there. We will definitely be using a different business for our new floors.

I was looking to replace all my carpet and of course I went to Home Depot and not only did I pay for getting my rooms measured but in my opinion I was overpriced in my estimate. I also didn’t get to understand the difference in the floors or anyone to really explain it. Basically you choose by sight and hope for the best. I was told about Simmons and I got a call back from Scott he came by took measurements and told me to stop by his store in Denton that he would make my trip worth it. I was so happy I did. I got to walk around with Scott (he was already waiting for me ) to go over the floors that looked like what we discussed previously and then I got explanations about the difference between each.... Simmons floors made me make our decision easily and with confidence. Our installer was nice and very professional and he completed all rooms in 2-1/2 days. I had checked out flooring on Angies List, and this came up on top. And it was the closest to me, at that! I felt completely comfortable from the moment I walked in the door and was guided (not pushed) through the process of choosing carpet and ceramic tile to replace our existing floor in the entire house. I think any of the salesmen would have been great, but I had Siegfried.From measuring our floors and giving us the estimate, going over all the details I could have thought to ask about and more, my husband and I felt comfortable with Simmons Flooring. It was quite a large undertaking, but the dates and times he told us for the installation of each type of flooring were exactly when they came. Both the ceramic workmen and carpet installers were professional and courteous and did excellent work.When the baseboards had to be removed due to the way the original floor was installed, Siegfried worked with us to suggest a third party (since we had none of our own) who could do that work when the rest of it was finished. They, too, were good and very hard workers.I wont lie. It was a stressful process, with all the moving and rearranging and subsequent dust to be cleaned. Siegfried was most patient with me more than once when I needed to be reassured about things. This is one of those projects that I wanted DONE, but I didnt want to DO. But the final outcome has definitely been worth it. Simmons Floor Covering was great!

We had a very positive experience with Simmons when we had the company replace our tile and carpet with hardwood in our living areas, dining areas, hallways and kitchen. They also replaced tile in a bathroom and utility area. First of all, the person who assisted us (James) was very respectful of us as customers. He never pressured us in any way, but provided information as we requested it. He set a tone that we appreciated. It was a selling point. Second, we believe we received a very fair price. Third, the workmen were efficient and respectful. Fourth, Simmons worked with us when we needed to go out of town in the middle of the installation. They stopped the work and had the workmen resume when we returned. We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary with children in Houston. It was the only time we could make the celebration work for all the family. Fifth, the finished product is beautiful. We are very happy with the result. We recommend Simmons highly. By the way, it is a locally owned business, which also made a difference for us.

My experience with Simmons Floor Covering was wonderful. They were understanding of our budget, and they were more than accommodating with timelines. We went with laminate throughout most of the house, and it looks amazing. I had a small portion of my home that needed tile, and even though the tile wasnt purchased through them, they still agreed to lay it since they were laying their product in almost 80% of the house. I love supporting local businesses, and I am happy to say that this is just another local business that serves the community well.

I was referred to Simmons Flooring by a friend who had been pleased with their services. I was needing to extend my living area that had 7 year old wood flooring. It had been discontinued. Since matching it was impossible, we chose something completely different that blended nicely. Siegfried had very creative ideas in achieving this using a few remnants of my old wood. Ramon and Jose were extremely professional and did an exceptional installation job. Thanks to the three of them, the transition turned out beautifully and I couldnt be happier.

I chose Simmons over the big box retailers due to the price being comparative but the service being much more personalized. The installers were on time and did not hurry to finish. They took their time and cut every piece of hardwood flooring to exact contours where necessary. They did my upstairs media room half bath with wood flooring and just carpeted the main area and stairs. Looks great! Thanks to all staff involved...

The whole process of replacing my flooring with Simmons was delightful. Scotts recommendations were perfect for my house/lifestyle, Siegfried was most helpful in coordinating the projects, and Mannys work is superb. We ran into a few hitches with my old house, and Manny solved them quickly and economically. All the guys were pleasant to work with, and Im so happy with the results. Even though I spent a lot of $$$, and my house was in disarray for a while, the projects were fun due to Simmons top-notch service.

Thanks to a hot water leak I had to have all of the wood floors in my house replaced. Simmons did a fine job. The floors were removed quickly and, once the new wood had had a chance to acclimatize to the temp/humidity in the house, the new floors were installed, sanded and finished quickly. There was never a time where I was left wondering when or if they were going to show up. Helmut supervised the entire process and was very professional and always kept me informed as to what was happening and when. He was great to work with.Im very happy with the new floors and how well, and quickly, everything progressed. Ive got a room that I plan to update with hardwoods at some point and Ill be calling these guys when Im ready for that project.

We were very happy with all aspects of our floor purchase. Our rep, James, spent a lot of time with us explaining the different floors with their advantages and disadvantages and most importantly to us, he did not push us at all. We took a number of samples home with us with no time limits attached prior to him coming out to measure and then he provided a timely quote with installation information. And then the installation...super guys who knew what they were doing and were happy with us watching and asking questions. And they made sure they cleaned up afterwards and that we were satisfied. I cant say enough positive things about everyone associated with Simmons.

Very happy with my beautiful new bedroom and bath tile floor. The installers- Alejandro, Carlo, and Martin did an excellent job. They are true artists. The design and texture of each tile flow together perfectly. I was impressed with the care they took and the thorough clean up. Couldnt be more satisfied. Nice people from start to finish. The crew was great, the owner was great, the entire experience was great. When we had a little glue left on the floor they stopped back out with a couple guys to make sure we were completely satisfied. Everyone I encountered from Simmons Floor Covering provided excellent service. From the initial discussion with Scott and proposal from Steve to the work completed they were all pleasing to deal with. I had wood flooring that had to be sanded and resurfaced with a polyurathane covering. Steve managed the crew and they moved furniture.,did the work, came back and replaced the furniture and it was all to our satisfaction. Our floors looks great. I highly recommend this company.

We were referred to Simmons Floorcovering by a restoration company over a year ago. We needed over 1200 sq ft of carpet & padding replaced immediately, as we were leaving for vacation. We couldnt postpone the vacation due to deposits so we left Scott in charge while we were gone. I had a couple of days to make decisions about the color and type of carpet. After a few phone conversations, Scott came to my home with samples of carpet that he thought I would like. The carpet he recommended is perfect for a busy home with three boys and 2 large dogs. It is beautiful and 1 1/2 years later, it still looks brand new. I had never been a position where I would have to leave contractors in my home while gone. Scott and his crew were very trustworthy and I knew I was in good hands. While I was away, Scott checked in with me via emails and texts to let me know the status of the job.Recently, I needed to purchase carpet padding due to a plumbing leak. I called Scott and left him a message. He returned my call the same day, and he had the padding ready for me as soon as I could pick it up. Scott is someone who has proven to be reliable. While I was picking up the padding, I browsed through the showroom. They have a wide range of beautiful tile and hardwood flooring. We will absolutely use Simmons Floor Covering again in the near future.

I stopped by the store on a Saturday and took home several samples. On Monday, the salesman, Siegfried, stopped by my house to take measurements and give me a price for the flooring (hickory soft-scraped). I was able to have my flooring installed with no pressure from a professional salesman who visited the site twice, courteous and professional installers who left everything spotless when they left. Within one week I have a beautiful new floor. The experience could not have gone better. I would recommend Simmons and will certainly consider using them again.

We had Simmons install new carpet in our 2 downstairs bedrooms, upstairs game room and 2 upstairs bedrooms. The entire process was simple and straight forward. Scott brought us some samples, gave us a quote which was significantly lower than all the other quotes we had received.We even had him change the carpet (and quote) for the upstairs and it was as simple as us choosing the new carpet and him sending us the adjusted quote via email.We scheduled the install for 3 weeks later because of our busy schedule, and we could not be happier.Even the installers were extremely professional and carful with our furniture. I cannot recommend them any more highly.We will do all our flooring needs in the future with Simmons!

Overall, my experience with Simmons was excellent. Simmons installed both hardwood and carpet, and I also bought tile from Simmons. Scott is extremely quick, easy to work with, and professional. I must admit, when someone suggested we contact Simmons Flooring for our bathroom remodel, my first thought was, a flooring company, really? What do they know about remodeling a bathroom?? We arent even re-doing the bathroom floor. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised! Scott and the Simmons Flooring team are professional craftsmen of the highest caliber! They just completed remodeling our 2 bathrooms. The guest bath was fairly straightforward, but the master bath involved several modifications; remove a fur-down, raise the floor of the sunken shower, remove the upper half of a wall to change a wall into a pony wall, raise the ceiling of the shower, remove old framed glass shower door and install new frame-less shower door and pony wall glass. Communication, on-time scheduling and appointments are just the beginning. The craftsmen were first rate. Watching them work was like watching a well executed plan. They arrived on-time and knew exactly what they were doing. At specific times, our input was requested to make sure they were doing their work inline with our expectations. The tile layer, Martine, was an artist at his craft. Everything from location and suggestions of shampoo boxes, to the elaborate deco band with pencil trim was crafted with precision and beauty. The frame-less glass in the master shower was installed today and its beautiful! My husband and I couldnt be more pleased and we will recommend Scott and the Simmons team any time we get a chance!I forgot to mention that all of this work was being completed during the hectic crunch time of the holidays before Christmas. We had house guests arriving on Christmas day and needed to be able to use our showers and bathrooms! Simmons said we would have completed showers and bathrooms and we did!! Hooray for Simmons!

Overall Great Experience. Began searching for flooring options at Home Depot. Finally decided to shop around and went to several different companies. One of those was Simmons Floor Covering & Supply on 288 in Denton. I worked with Larry Moore who showed me different options and gave me all of the information about the different varieties of wood. He was very helpful and was not pushy at all and gave great insight. Larry was able to work around our schedule to come out for an estimate and even on the scheduling of the install. We had carpet removal and engineered hardwood installed in our living room and hallways.If you are looking for new floors and want someone you can trust (and btw is lower priced than Home Depot- after install) then definitely check them out and let Larry Moore help you, you wont be disappointed.
