Called to request a quote for window repair, never heard back from the guy. (Brian?). Binswanger had someone out to quote the job ASAP and repaired (5) days later.

Ordered small pieces of Plex. Super expensive. And the paper had been cut on one piece. The Plexi was also cut. Art was due in show that day( they took far longer than they had estimated to do work), so I had to use it to frame art. Put big scratch in a matt area, so it doesnt show too much.

I needed some glass for 8 cabinet doors. Each were all different sizes. They did an excellent job. In fact more than I expected. The girl that took my order was friendly and helpful.

This was the second time I’ve used them and, unfortunately, I forgot that I had an issue with them before.I ordered a frosted glass half-moon window and a sheet of glass for a desk. They brought both pieces for installation. The half-moon window looks fine, but it was dirty (I mean, how hard is it to clean off the fingerprints and smudges before you leave?). I later found two large pieces of glass in my backyard, where they had been to get to my window and my four-year-old found a piece of sharp glass in the window sill. They did come back to check my yard - after I complained, but the piece of glass my son found was noticed a few days later. The guys left their ladder too, but that’s an honest mistake. (I had to call and tell them about it, though.)On the desktop piece, it was a perfect fit, but I immediately noticed a chipped corner. When I told the installer (who apparently cut the glass himself), he said it was just beveled unevenly and he was going to blow it off! He was reluctant to do anything about it, but did get some sand paper to “sand” it down. Of course, that didn’t do anything. He eventually offered to take it back and have it redone. Well, duh!! He had really hoped I was going to ignore the defect in a custom piece of glass THAT I PAID FOR!DGC did have the glass recut by a factory - thank goodness - even though I found a little flaw in it too. (I’ll deal with it.)When I went to pick it up, the lady (who is nice) couldn’t find it, so I had to make a second trip over there. I pointed out that had the glass been cut correctly the first time, I wouldn’t have had to come back even one time. This is the second time they’ve expected me to ignore an issue with a custom glass order. (The first was a few years ago when they re-did my sidelight windows. They were beautiful, but they left smudges inside the glass somehow, so I had to call them back to clean it.)

Broke a window in my studio and they got someone out to check it out within a couple days. The guy who drew up the estimate told me they were running several weeks behind, but their office would call to schedule an appt - just dont expect the date to be soon. A week passed, no call. I had to call to remind them to get me on the books, but their office got me in the next business day, so good on them! The window guy who came to replace was 30 min. early, was very nice, and replaced the window fast. Great experience.

I broke an old 1960s residential storm window while I was cleaning it.. (yes, my bad). Before this unfortunate event, it was a perfectly functional window despite its age. I take it to this company. They say one week but its usually less. Ok... I call when a weeks up to check on it... havent gotten to it. Not a problem, Im not in a hurry. I call back the second week and they said, Oh, we havent had someone in the shop. I get a call the next day.. windows ready. I go to get window and paid an extra 20 bucks to have it put back together. Two of the original screws are gone. This is put back on me as I have the Ziploc bag of screws you gave me. Whatever, I just want to put my window back in and these particular screws are not essential. I get it home. Window opens about 3 inches only. The metal which surrounds the new glass is slightly bent up and not as flush as it once was. I take it back. Owner says, Well, these windows are old and they are hard to open. With some extreme manipulation, he does get it open. He says I should get it home and put it on to see if squaring it up will help. This does not help. They say we will get someone out there to look at it. This will be in about a weeks time. Im not happy. Im not an unreasonable person. It seems peoples workmanship is getting poorer and poorer. On the two star side, Yes I do have somewhat of storm window back. On the negative side, it doesnt function like it did before and I actually do like an occasional open window in the spring and fall. These people only give you excuses as you can see in the other poor reviews. Excuses that somehow put the blame on you or your stuff. If you cant fix it then just say, SORRY, WE DONT FIX THESE. And on a last note, the window which I originally took down to clean was given back to me pretty dirty. The owners reply is that someone must have been really sweaty while putting it back together. Im sure these people will not be unhappy to lose my business and they obviously have a revenue stream somewhere.. but its not just fixing residential windows.

Nice people, easy to order glass and my order came in sooner than I thought it would. I ordered through binswinger glass on my last job and that was a nightmare(trying to charge me twice for a piece, rude, slow, and hard to reach). Ill be sure to come back to denton glass for all future jobs. The double paned piece I ordered was actually cheaper here than it is at binswinger.
