I lived in Locust Center for 4 years and had a great experience with the Killians. They were always courteous, responsive, and quick to get maintenance out to resolve any issues. The apartment was a great value in a prime Denton location. We even requested a flooring update while away for a week and they delivered! Never take small property management for granted!

I lived in one of their properties close to the Denton square for 4 years. I loved the character of the property and the walkability of the location. Any issues that came up with the apartment were swiftly dealt with- they had some of the fastest response times to maintenance requests that Ive seen. Ongoing upkeep of the property (spraying for bugs, changing air filters, etc.) was done consistently. The Killians were always polite to us and attentive to our needs. Overall had a great experience!

I rented one of Killian’s Hickory St. apartments for about two years. They were very communicative, professional, and respected tenant privacy. I toured so many apartments in Denton and Andrew was by far the most helpful property manager. He is very straightforward and is quick to respond any issues. I’ve honestly recommended him to many people and they’ve all had good experiences as well.

Honestly better than what I expected based on these bad reviews. We lived in a historic house near the square, and, while we didnt have a couple things we were used to having (dishwasher, washer/dryer), the place was nice and charming. The biggest annoyance we had was the next door neighbors in the next lot over who would host parties all the time until morning hours, but Im pretty sure it housed a sorority or fraternity or something.Around Christmas we had a squirrel in our attic that would relentlessly run around during the night. We emailed the main office and a guy came over to help us - right around Christmas! I kind of felt bad, but I also wanted to sleep. They worked at our house to make sure the squirrel problem was taken care of.Our house neighbors were very quiet and nice, and I loved how close we were to the square - that is something I will definitely miss.Killian is very matter-of-fact, dont-lie-to-me-and-we-wont-have-problems kind of a company, and we tried to always be upfront with everything. My sister came to live with me, and instead of just letting her live there, we told Andrew and he was able to re-write the lease to include her.Always email so you can refer to your messages if anything happens. I knew exactly how many times the maintenance guys were coming to our house to get to the squirrels because of the email conversations with Andrew.Pest control came regularly, so that was a plus.Thanks.

Killian Property Management has been a great experience for a first time renter/leaser. Good communication about maintenance, quick responses, and willing to discuss any inquiries. Ive done business primarily with Andrew and I have been treated with respect during any interactions. They have plenty of locations around Denton to choose from with a wide range of prices. I appreciate the time they took to help me find my first few apartments.

We lived almost two years in Pinecrest apartment complex. It was great place and very close to UNT DP. The maintenance was fast and the issue would be solved from the first time, never had to call about the same issue again. Pest control was almost monthly they were on top of it. Andrew was very understanding and professional . I am really satisfied with my experience with Killian Property.

Im glad I never rented from this pompous slumlord. I scheduled an appointment to view a place 3 days in advance and then he calls me The day of and says there were already two applications in and paused presumably to get me to beg for it. then I tell him a price range and he immediately goes above it but I agree to see anyways because I was already headed up there to see MUCH nicer places. I walk in and stretch out my arm for a handshake and he just stands there and stares at me for a second and says he doesnt shake hands because it has been getting him sick. Extremely rude and arrogant. Buy some hand sanitizer or stop licking your hand after touching people, how dare you imply I am filthy and germ ridden. Who the hell are you?! And then he proceeds to talk himself up in regards to the real estate documents. Thanks fool, I work in a law firm and I can understand legal documents. Shut up and let me read it. Then he proceeds to show me the most rundown, hideous studio apartment with no working AC and the maintenance guy fixing what looked like everything in there. What a joke. I told him right there and then I wouldnt be signing anything. See you later clown.

Gosh I wish there were negative stars available. Do not use this company they will take your money with a smile and refuse to work with you. Do not rent with these people. If you ever rent with these guys you will be sorry. Prepare to be talked to like a child and treated as such because they think they are better than you. I will never NEVER recommend this place to anyone I know.

I lived in one of the properties for what was my second year of grad-school, and I honestly cant say it was that bad. Whenever I needed anything fixed, Id let the folks at the leasing officeknow, and before you knew it things were working again. As for everything else; I did make the mistake of moving into a unit on the first floor, which wasnt the best thing I couldve done because Im a light sleeper. In the end, I think the company was pretty helpful, and Id rent from them again.

I loved my living experience in Denton. I lived in an apartment in a very old house, and worried when I first moved in that there would be maintenance issues, bug issues, etc. But the property managements staff keep on top of things so well that I never had any problems in 2 years of living there. They also respond to all questions quickly and politely, in my experience. I would definitely recommend this management company to people looking for a place in Denton.

Honestly not sure where the poor reviews are coming from? Ive been living in the Pinecrest apartments for about five months now and have never had any problems with management. On the rare occasion that weve had to put in a maintenance request it has been resolved either the same day or the next. Any time weve had a complaint about noisy neighbors weve always recieved a response within a few hours, and they always follow up once or twice afterwards to make sure everything is okay. When we were looking for a unit to move into Andrew showed us three different units, as the unit we were planning on renting was still occupied, and we ended up liking one of the upstairs units that was move in ready and had some newer fixtures, even though we had to wait another month to move in. He offered to hold the unit for us if that was the one we wanted, and he did. When we did move in I had an absolute horrible time getting our internet set up, and explained to Andrew that apparently the issue was that the previous tenant never shut their services off. He personally got on the phone with them (which if you know Frontier, customer service is no picnic) and went out of his way to help the process along. He has always been very kind and professional with us from the beginning. As for the no shaking hands thing, I dont understand why that upsets some people. But I work in a doctors office, so maybe I just get it a little more. Ive dealt with Andrew every step of the way and I appreciate that Im not dealing with some huge office/company where Im going to get lost in the shuffle and passed around from rep to rep. The reason I chose to rent from them is because my sister did and she highly recommended them as well, and I (so far) have not been disappointed. If you want an easy going, dependable, and responsive management company, then this is the one.

Not handicapped friendly. my son, who is in a wheelchair, lives in one of their apartments, and had to purchase his own wheelchair ramps. i have had to personally pay for a private contractor to come repair his place, because the landlord will take a year or more to do it, if ever. the apartment smelled like mold when he moved in. my son has had to furnish all his own handicapped aids himself, and has a neighbor who is also struggling with same issues. they dont allow pets at all on any of their properties, and groundskeeping is a joke. i felt like i was walking through a jungle.

Our son rented an apartment from them and had no issues other than a failure to respond to a neighbors alarm that went off continuously during a weekend the guy was out of town. Other than that, the apartments were well-maintained and management was fine.

Do not rent from these people. Very unprofessional and rude. They accused me of missing an appointment when I in fact called ahead of time to cancel due to I35 being shut down, as in not moving, to let them know I could not make it on time. I cannot control traffic. I really with I had those magical powers. I have to rent from people of integrity.

So, let me give you the run-down.I am currently living at 701 Sycamore. Its an efficiency, and its just the right size for me. I cant really beat $500/mo including water. You pay out of pocket for electricity, and internet if you dont use what is on site.This is, by no means, a luxury apartment. Its small, a bit older, and could probably use some remodeling; the single washer-dryer units are definitely dated. However, to this day, I have no complaints with KPM or the property. Yeah, there are some minor flaws. Yeah, the internet on site isnt the greatest. But when my hot water heater began leaking on a Friday morning and needed to be replaced, did I go the weekend without hot water? No. I called maintenance and they had people out there right away. Any issue with the apartment I have ever had (which are very few) has been resolved. If you dont have experience with economy living quarters, it might take some getting used to. But Im pretty happy with my apartment and my experience with the management. Perhaps they werent so great a few years ago but, from my experience, things have definitely turned around.

Dont think, just RUN!!!!!! I would definitely give minus stars if theres an option. Stay away from them, you dont know what youre getting into. Amazed that they are still out there. They will pay the price for sure as long as God is watching them. Hey Killians, how can you sleep at night when everyone hates you so much??

Okay, my experience with this place is amazing so far.When I first came here I was scared that I wouldnt find a place to stay,luckily they had something open and I was able to move in right after I paid my down payment.I had some issues getting here on time, and they stayed open long enough for me to move in that day, without me having to stay in a hotel/motel for the night.I had to turn on my electricity which Id have never done before, so that was pretty cool and an experience. You also have to pay for your own internet/cable/phone. And water comes with the rent. I finally got my stuff moved in and it feels like a home away from home to me like it should. The people who does maintenance are quick and friendly.They dont judge from as far as I know. (Since I usually have my clothes and crap laying everywhere.) And I havent had anything missing. xD So, yay! Theyre not thieves. Andrew has really helped me out this past year in getting everything taken care of since Im new at this whole living by myself type of thing. So, its really nice to be dealing with people instead of just business owners. Anyways, I plan on signing my lease again because I really love this place. Hope this review helps someone in the future. :D

This agency is a menace and a slum lord. I am handicap and he made me buy my own handicap ramps which is against the law. then when I needed maintenance, he takes 2 years minimum to do anything. one of my neighbors turned him in to the city manager as a slum lord. I am glad they did.then the man endangers my life by having the electricity cut off in an all bills paid apartment where I live. I need the electricity for life support devices and medications. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS MAN...RUN!!!!!!!!he is rude, hateful, and dangerous. refuses to answer phone and maintenance is subpar. he is not trustworthy and plays games with money. Only gave one star because there is no negative rating. negative 84 stars.

The property managers are the only reason I would not renew my lease. They are conservative but completely unprofessional and unreasonable. Intimidating, overbearing, and unapproachable.
