Okay... Lets start with we are picky and painful to work with at times. Our expectations are high and since Ive worked in various construction industries, Ive got a very good feel of things that are done right. Setting that stage, I have been blown away by Colin Irons!The folks that have been out to work the issues have been great. Their workmanship is very good. They have done everything possible to make sure we are happy with each result. The solution they proposed and implemented for the work done to the spillway of our spa that runs into the pool has 1) fixed the small leaks 2) Improved the look and feel of the spillway 3) improved the basic design of the interface with the spillway.I cannot recommend them more highly.

We used Colin Iron Pools because we thought we had a pool leak. Tyler came out on the scheduled day. Very knowledgeable and professional, got right to work and explained each test he was doing. Kept us informed thoughout the whole process and found the leak. Would definitely recommend them..

Do Not Use!!! Lied about what was needed to fix my pool. Luckily I got a second opinion and had my pool fixed in a matter of days and for less.And to add. I didn’t trust the pressure test results, over inflated prices on estimate and the fact that it would have taken another 3 weeks to repair, meaning down time of 2 months. Which is why I had some else come out.The other company didn’t need to do a pressure test because they saw the issue right away with the pump pot housing.

Hired Colin Irons to come out and replace our entire pool set up - filter, heater, pump, and valves. We had wanted to change over to salt, but after discussing the type of coping and decking we had, learned that salt was not going to work and would create problems.They came out on time, and got the job done with little mess. We had an issue with the heater which required them to get a part - but they were back the next day to fix it. Great group of guys - very personable and professional!

We called multiple pool service companies when buying our home. An inspection was needed asap and many did not respond or simply could not fit us in. Jordan at Colin Irons was amazing! She worked us in and we got the inspection done in time to satisfy our buyers contract! Once in our home, our pump stopped working. Terrified of freezing temperatures and potential busted pipes, I called Colin Irons again. Jordan saved the day once more! She worked us into the schedule that day. Needless to say, great customer service!

My husband and I have been very pleased with the service we have received from Colin Irons Pool Service. They stuck with us until they found the hard to detect issues we were having and they gave us solutions. Tyler was super friendly and knowledgeable at leak detection, Jason made our deck-o-seal look awesome, and Joses work on our tile/stone area was amazing! Everyone we spoke with at the company (including Colin) was super nice, organized, and professional. I would strongly recommend this company to friends and family. We will be calling them for help if we have other issues in the future.

Collin Irons came out to survey my pool 3 months prior to the repair, upon returning to do the repair, the ground leak that was identified 3 months ago could not be located.Collins team validated this by completing an additional pressure test, and only charged for the work performed.Collin did a great job explaining that Texas soil canShift and swell which can close the pipe and offered to return if the leak came back during the warmer dryer summer.Prices were very reasonable. Additionally identified that the light was cross screwed in and loose and Collin send a repairman our next day to reinstall light fixture at no additional charge.Can’t ask for much more than honest detecting, reasonable pricing, Fast service and quality work.Also for anyone unfamiliar with the detecting process, their divers are first rate. Diver spent a significant amount of time in and out of the pool, testing floor drains at 10’ depth and testing each return to help locate pressure loss on the pool. They work really hard to identify any loss of water pressure in the pool.

My pool is in South Dallas County and Irons is in Denton County. I had a difficult time finding a service who would diagnose the leak in our pool and then follow through to complete the repair. Both of the techs that they sent out knew what they were doing and got it done on time as agreed. The price was reasonable and they charged only what they estimated. I found them from a recommendation from Crowne Pools in DeSoto and I will let them know also that their recommendation was reliable. Hard thing to find these days it seems. Many thanks!! I was tired of supporting the city of DeSoto with my water bill.

Worst company ever and Colin is just a bad person. Took $250 for button and wire replacement and this is what I got. A ripped out cord and a new wire just sitting outside. Said he wont return my money because they spent hours working on it and couldnt fix it. Says we have to pay $1,900 now. What a joke, says just to mail him a letter and hell give it to his lawyer. Youre a joke Colin, with terrible business ethics and should not be allowed to own a business.

After realizing our pool was losing too much water on a daily basis, we were referred to Colin Irons and they sent someone out to do a pool leak detection. He checked thoroughly and was able to locate the exact location of the leak. The next visit the guys dug in the location and found the broken pipe. Repaired it, pool no longer leaks.

Great group of hard workers. Did quite a bit of diagnostics over the phone which saved time once they were here. After the most obvious places for a leak we’re ruled out (skimmer, drains, lights, jets etc) they cut into the main pipe ( my terminology!) and found a large screwdriver in an angled part of that pipe that had to have been there since the pool was built (20+ yeas). It had punched a hole thru the PVC and that was indeed where the leak had been. Five stars would’ve been rated but in doing the repair, a wire associated with the sprinkler system was cut-and apparently not noticed🙃. We didn’t know there was a problem till the automatic sprinkler should’ve come on a few days later. To Irons credit, he paid for that repair.We would recommend this business highly.

He arrived on time..understood that we had a leak but did not know where..pool or equipment or elsewhere..he surveyed the situation..quickly identified one skimmer that was surely leaking..he thought that was one if not the reason the pool water level continually lowered daily..he fixed/stopped the leak by properly repairing the skimmer...did the same to the 2nd skimmer to be safe and finished..the leaking stopped! Excellent from start to finish, fast and at a fair price too...Colin & Rick know their business very well and importantly, how to treat a customer!
