Dollar General

Every time I go into this store the Manager Keith store#7050 always seems to go out of his way, and an extra mile to help me, and I see him helping other people to. These days we need people like that. Some get overlooked, some is tolerated, and not celebrated. But this Manager the way interact with his customer & people in general needs to celebrated. He goes beyond. I need water and they didn’t have it in the shelf yet, the shipment just came, but went out his way to get me 2 gallons of Purified drinking water. I APPRECIATE him so much!! Keith if you see this please keep doing what you are doing, because you are making a difference. God will surely REWARD you! Thank you for you willingness to go out your way for your customer’s. You are CELEBRATED!!!!

They keep the old specials and when paying thats when you find out. The app is wrong as well, because you scan the item before paying so you can have the total and it scans the old special. They should take off all the old special tags. We people dont have time to be reading the dates sometimes. Other then that is a good near by convenient store.

Make sure you get your receipt and that they dont charge you twice and then they will not want to give money back. Thieves!!

Horrible customer service shelves are always empty they are lazy employees and they dont do there jobs and manager has bad attitude he hates to hear anything about the store being out of items because there to lazy to stock them

There’s an ugly dark skinned black male who works here and I noticed he’s extremely rude to black women. We don’t want you sir.

Some items are miss priced and employees are unable to change them at the register. Wi-Fi signal isn’t great and restricts social media which is suspicious. Employees are often overwhelmed, but always friendly and helpful. I shop here because it’s local and they still have a $1 section that provides good supplies people in the community need they can afford. Even baby products.

Pretty decent for a DG. The kid working the cashier was actually nice and helpful compared to other DG. Was a bit hard to find the stuff I needed. Layout and aisle tags didn’t match up.

I have seen the good, the bad and the really ugly at this store over the last ten years. I walked in today and was so surprised. I ended up spending an hour walking around the store. (Wont say how much I spent, but I went home and emptied my online Walmart cart because of how much I bought and how much I saved). Congrats to the new manager, SHE is doing a fabulous job at this store!!

Never again am I going there I always go there because I like going there and not to long ago I got screamed at by the employer named Beth she is very unprofessional and hostile.

I am not giving two stars for lack of kindness from employees. BUT this store needs some help. Always cluttered up and down the isles with boxes of unopened merchandise. Shelves basically empty. Its hard to rely on a small store like this when they dont keep the shelves stocked.

A decent grocery/convenient like store to get a quick couple groceries, if your in a rush and dont feel like going to a supermarket. This location recently did some remodeling so it looks a lot nicer, lots of medicine, makeup, and TV dinners, chips, and sodas. This isnt a full-on grocery store, so your not going to get things like fruits and vegetables, but its good to go for a quick couple of things. Very low prices.

Dollar General is an ok place to shop if you are looking for something quick. The prices really arent all that cheap but they will do. My biggest complaint and the reason for 3 stars is the cleanliness of the store. I swear it is rare that I go in one and the store is clean and in order. But like I said I go there for quick items and when I dont feel like dealing with Walmart.

This store is in an less than savory area of town. The staff is nice enough. Limited selection of items despite being cramped. But I have found the other two DG in town to be similar but they are a little bit less so. I go here as a last resort.

Staff is friendly but the store is generally cluttered and disorganized. They need to hire more employees to allow more time for stocking merchandise. I have started going to thethe Family Dollar up the road because it is generally more organized.

Expensive prices for quality of products

This store is so unorganized. It reminds me of walking into a messy teenager’s room, trying to find a walkway/path, much less something specific. Products on the floor as if someone kicked over a box of items and numerous people trampled over it all.There must be 25 places where drinks are stocked, if stocked at all; who would know where anything would be?Large yellow poster boards were posted in the front of the store, written-more like chicken scratched-“Cash Only.”Asked the cashier where to find Dole Strawberry Lemonade (delicious! If you haven’t tried it-you must!).The cashier replied, while looking into an empty refrigerator box where some were kept a few days ago, “Do YOU see any?”Charming employees. I will find another store...

Its decently organized and clean for a dollar general. The staff is nice too. Theyre pretty good about not letting people wait in line for too long before opening the second register

I can always find what Im looking for and more. Great for buying something quick. The store is messy but its to be expected just like the other dollar generals. Theres usually no line when Im ready to check out which is great.

This store location has friendly staff but it is usually very unorganized. Most of the shelves are half stocked, however, if you ask the staff they will check the back for more. Not a bad store for this area though.

Very unimpressive to say the least. They were understaffed and it was very dirty store. There was a problem at the register and they had to get the manager who was very unkempt and very unprofessional all the way down to wearing his beanie cap over his eyes. I dont plan on using that store again I also plan on complaining to corporate

The store was not crowded... got great help from the staff... price was reasonable... store could use a tidying up a bit... over all was in and out quickly..

Went to DG and purchased Halloween candy on sale (extra 70% off clearance) so went to this location and the front end manager would not honor the sale. Signs were clearly displayed on the candy clearance table. Her first explanation was that the price was including the sale. $.62 is not 70% off a dollar. I was very nice, trying to explain the math and she said I dont know but she would not change the price, that that is just the way it is. She said for some things they were only 62 cents and she was not changing it. I told her if she would not honor their prices, clearly displayed, then we would not take the candy. As we were leaving she threw the bags on the floor and was talking about us to her coworker...with a line full of customers.

As far as Dollar General goes, this is a pretty good one. DG is pretty ghetto, but in this one, the shelves are organized, the staff isnt unfriendly, and the AC kinda works.

Not my experience but my sons. He went in to get a pack of cigarettes and was carded. No big deal he has a learners permit. He shows it to them and it was taken to the manager. He was then informed that it is invalid. I would like to know what part was invalid. The f fact that it is out of state(indiana issued). The issue date was September of this year. The exportation date is not until June 2020. So what part of his id was invalid? I am disappointed that they did not explain to him why they could not accept it. He has mental health issues and he was trying to stay calm about it. I in the other hand am not calm. This is down right ridiculous.

Lines are forever long because they dont trust us at self checkout, and their is only one register.

Its not truly a dollar store, but the name is accurate that things are generally near a dollar. They have rice cookers etc that are over 20 dollars, though. Convenient for grabbing some snacks after class.

Great, but if the line is longer than 2 people it will take you forever to check out. Can get cash back but there is a fee

This location is one to avoid as the homeless are always outside the store bumming for money. They should ban the loitering as it makes you avoid the store.

Its a good store! I was actually impressed by the selection. And the staff was very friendly! Will definitely be coming back

Love Dollar General, go there often to buy move in gifts. But store is always cluttered and line is always long.

I like how they have stuff you can buy a little cheaper than you can buy in actual stores and I notice sometimes how items that are from different aisles are placed in a completely different part of it.

Absolute horrid customer service and the store was a disaster, as always. The so called manager, told me I need to take myelf elsewhere just from asking a question. When I became a bit upset she told me to leave and never come back or she would call the cops. Who does that?!

Great prices! Especially, in the clearance section. You get great ideas for college dorm rooms for your kids getting ready for college.

Love the store, helpful staff. But if you want something decent its more than 1$

I hate this DG. It is so awful. Rude employees, dirty, cramped store, loud rap music blaring so loud that nobody can be heard speaking, and the card readers are always broken. Get it together!

Good old store thats been around for years. Usually have really nice staff and well stocked merchandise.

The lines are way to long 9 times out of 10. But they always have the stuff i need and are nice

For a dollar store its fine. I feel like Dollar Tree has more stuff for a dollar. Dollar General tends to be three or four dollars per item.

Decent selection but under-staffed and usually the line is too long.

There ok its not the best and I feel there price range is to high for them to call themselves a discount store you can get the same at Kmart Wal-Mart !

Never open on time its 707am but you open at 7am ok, never have whats on sale and a very cluttered and trashy location.

Messy, limited stock, isles ALWAYS CROWDED WITH STOCK THAT NEEDS TO BE PUT AWAY. Isles narrowed by displays that make shopping in a wheelchair miserable.

I enjoy shopping for a few things and end up getting more ! Get new things in often !

Great place for cleaning supplies and small home goods.

I like the drinks mixes and snackfoods especially since Im so close to the lake.

I am all ways greeted cheerfully and helped if I need it.
